Excellent Fresh Seafood. The hake was perfectly cooked, the cab spaghetti was really tasty & light. Nothing was greasy or overcooked. I don't usually comment unless food is beyond Excellent & I will detour an hour to come here again

Great food, the two course set menu was great value for a nice lunch. A couple of mistakes with the order and bill but quickly sorted, will definitely return 😁

Delicious freshly cooked food, great tempura dishes, to die for croquettes, heavenly muscles glistening in wine and cream, crab pasta, oh, such delights to feast upon, I've dined here a few times and will do so again in the not very distant future!

Lovely restaurant, I imagine it's a lovely place to eat outside in the summer. Really enjoyed the food & drinks. Will definitely use when I am visiting the Del La Warr

Excellent menu choices. For some reason they could not understand why I didn't want any more than a couple of chips on my plate. The panna cotte had been sitting around a while. It had quite a hard skin on it (what would have been the top when baking), which gave it an unpleasant texture. The prawns were chilled but could have done with being sorted or rinsed as had masses of feelers and stray legs amongst them. When I booked I asked if lobster was available but was told it was out of season. Not strictly true, but hey!

Superb place to come and eat if you're in the area.. from booking, welcoming and being served throughout our meal, we were well looked after. The food all looked and tasted great, potatoes on one plate were almost up to standard if a tiny but small thing but everything we ate was excellent. The oysters here are superb, starters with their sauces, the mains.. I would go as far to say that anything on their menu tastes great, looking at all the different meals that came out and all the clean plates that went back..if we're ever back in the area we would eat here again without a doubt.. well done guys 🙏🏽👍🏾💖

Really nice food and great service. If lucky enough to get the weather, sit outside and enjoy the view over the beach. We had the Fritto Misto to share and it was lovely. Really good food, good prices and great service. Lovely.

Best seafood I’ve had in a very long time and all completely fresh. Also tailed very well to dietary requirements (almost everything was Gluten free!).

It's fine. Replaced the Waterfront Club which to be honest, was much better. The staff are very friendly. And the food is fine, particularly if you are a seafood fan, but comparatively expensive. Views are of course fantastic, with unrestricted views into the Channel. But does lack atmosphere. Maybe tainted slightly by being a former member of the Waterfront. But worth a try if you are in the local area.

Nice pub on the seafront, with a decent amount of outdoor seating. Service was a bit slow, considering it was fairly quiet. Waited about 10-15 mins to get served (table service) and then another 10, just for a couple of beers 🤷‍♂️

Just one of the best restaurant we have discovered on the South Coast. Fantastic service, friendly and prompt. The food was brilliant, really well cooked and very tasty. Lovely location, if the weather is kind sit outside and people watch. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious food; the squid and the tempura veggies were a highlight. The haloumi fries were “the best I’ve ever eaten” according to my mum!

Fantastic food. The mussels were delicious - a huge portion we couldn’t finish them. Mbali service was great too. I would definitely recommend.

The view, service and of course the food was great, really enjoyed king prawn in chilli and garlic and the rest . Lovely view.

Lovely restaurant with 1st class friendly service. The Mussels were fabulous, big, fresh and in the most delicious sauce. We would have given five stars if we had gone for a fish main. The burger was fine but the speciality is clearly the seafood.

Nice fish dishes, not too keen on the sirloin steak as it’s a bit gristly. Great view of the channel, been here a few times over the past couple of years.

Pebbles is one of our local restaurants. We go there every now and again for a treat. It is expensive compared to everywhere else in Bexhill-on-Sea but for good reason!!!! The outdoor seating is amazing, with perfect sea views with protection from the wind from the glass. We could sit there for hours and hours people watching. The food is absolutely amazing....we have never had a bad meal there. The food is outstanding... Today we had the crab nachos.... Which we always have as they are so delicious........ We then had the specials of Lobster Roll and Plaice, both of which were delicious...... We then managed to squeeze in pudding and my goodness is it worth trying to squeeze a pudding in..... Eton Mess Cheesecake and Jamaican Ginger Cake..... I have never tasted anything as good as that Jamaican Ginger Cake ... Simply superb!!!!!! The great thing about Pebbles is that they always mix up the menu so you always get something new if you want it. Fantastic service.... It really is a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend to anyone..... We are lucky enough to live round the corner but well worth a journey to.

It was the best service, the best kitchen and the best view in my life! Honestly, I haven’t seen such a high quality service in the UK. A lot of nice details like the cleanest dishes, glasses and forks, lovely restaurant workers made my day!

Nice location on the beach however the service really let us down. Once we turned up the manager huffed when we said we’d booked as if we were being an inconvenience. Our waiter was miserable, not once were we asked how our food was or anything. The fish and chips were greasy and the atmosphere was bad. Overall I wouldn’t go back….you can get a lot better just on the sea front!!!

My first visit to Bexhill seafront for more than 40 years, drawn there by a recommendation to eat at "Pebbles on the Beach." We weren't disappointed, the food was outstanding! We shared a seafood platter for one and half a lobster with a rich dressing of garlic butter, with side orders of skinny fries and dressed salad. Despite being tempted by a wonderful dessert menu, we simply couldn't find space for more food. The waiters were a young and cheerful bunch, working under the guidance of the proprietors. Despite being a busy Saturday lunchtime, service was friendly, helpful, and timely. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to "Pebbles on the Beach." The food was outstanding, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as representing some of the best seafood (from fish and chips to lobster) the Southeast has to offer.

Most lacklustre fruit de mare I've ever had by the sea! 4 Really small prawns, 4 tasteless clams, 2 oysters, 1(!) tiny, tiny crayfish, 2 smallest lobster claws I've ever seen, very dry and tasted as if had been frozen. Don't order it, you'll be disappointed 😥.

Lovely restaurant next to the sea. There are not many restaurants with views over the sea like this in East Sussex. Service was great. Food was excellent. Highly recommended. But do book in advance as it’s very popular.

Great service at such a perfect setting The meal was was delicious as always. We have never had a bad meal here. My friend from Brussels said the Cornish mussels were as good as her local ones!

The only restaurant that is right on the seafront. A spacious outdoor dining area for those sunny days. The food and services here is outstanding.

Fab food and spectacular views.

Disappointed. Could not supply us with a finger bowl only KFC style lemon wipes. Sauces is sachets. Service was below par Lobster was chewy and over cooked. Dressed up for a nice meal. Should of warn shorts and flipflops.

The skate was excellent and the staff were pleasant enough. While the food is good I feel it was slightly overpriced for the experience, especially the dressed crab which seemed a little ordinary and underpresented. It would have to be a lot cheaper to recommend it.

Best place to sit outside looking at the sea, eating crispy fresh fish and chips or something a bit different from the seafood restaurant menu. Clean, very welcoming, quick service, lovely place with great view...you won't beat it for miles and miles.

My local go-to for a meal and a glass of wine or a cocktail. You need to book in the summer months as it has an amazing outside space unrivalled in bexhill. It's not a fast service as everything is cooked from fresh, so go when you can relax and take your time

Busy when we arrived on Sunday I had half a lobster tail in a wild garlick sauce. Sat in the sunshine was lovely. I will be back I feel.

Amazing food. Never had a bad meal and very reasonable. If its a nice evening you can st outside and look at the sea. Staff are always friendly.

Had Sunday lunch with my wife, booked a table outside and views were lovely, as was the food. Really enjoyed atmosphere there, service was great, can't wait to return. Highly recommended.

Perfect situation and smiling, attentive staff. A varied menu - I ordered the fish and chips. One of the best I've eaten- really fresh haddock and the thinnest, crispiest batter + excellent chips. Can't comment on the mushy peas as I gave them to my husband (I don't like them). It is a bit pricy - fish and chips were £14- so I didn't have a starter or dessert, and drank mineral water instead of wine

This was our first visit to Bexhill and we came across this perfectly positioned restaurant right opposite the sea. Wonderful friendly staff and a really lovely plate of food, blessed by the weather, we sat in the sun on Easter Saturday and had a fabulous time.

We had a really enjoyable meal at Pebbles on the Beach. The sea bass fillet was particularly delicious. Just one comment though, this is a beach side restaurant and although they have a good seafood selection on the menu I would have expected more fish dishes on the main menu, being a bit picky here as we had a really nice meal with friendly attentive staff.

I’m sorry to give a poor review as we have enjoyed this restaurant in the past. This is the third time of being disappointed with the food and the service. This occasion was a belated Mother’s Day lunch for my 93-year-old mum. She ordered tenderloin of pork and received huge lumps of belly pork. My dish of hake was basically a huge fish finger. It took 2 hours for us to be served 3 courses. When mum complained about the wrong dish the manager did knock off the price of the dessert which helped to take the sting out of the experience. However, the combination of poor food and terrible service put me in a bad mood for the rest of the day. We won’t be going again.

Our second visit and food was excellent as it was on our first visit. Worth every penny,and staff were brilliant .

Delicious lunch at Pebbles. We happened upon the restaurant while we were strolling along the seafront on a beautiful sunny day so we decided to have lunch after seeing their menu! We both started with wild mushrooms and wild garlic on sourdough toast which was delicious then we both had fish, seabass with bacon, jersey potatoes, baby onions, peas and a delicious sauce and hake with spinach, new potatoes with a cockle valoute, both of which were perfectly cooked and gorgeous! Thos was all washed down with a couple of glasses of white Rioja. A lovely relaxing atmosphere and friendly efficient service. We will definitely be back! Thanks. A great addition to Bexhill.

Had an early dinner with friends. The food was delicious and the choc delice dessert was amazing. Will definitely return in the summer and be able to sit outside in the sun and enjoy the view of the sea.

Great fish restaurant, excellent menu choices, different and fresh in comparison to the same old dishes found on many Bexhill restaurant menus! Good wine list too. We will be back often, as have found a new favourite in Bexhill.

Bizarre experience, the best chips (bar none) but twice now had fish (cod) that spelled of ammonia. The first time Mike the manager was great and sent a new portion. I just called to order (asking if they could confirm that the fish was ok), the guy immediately asked if I was from a particular address (next door strangely), he then said “we don’t deliver to you anymore”. Strange customer service that doesn’t address the problem but then excludes the customer That is actually really trying to help & support our local business! Mike, are you aware?

Good food attentive service and quick turnaround if needed

Excellent restaurant. Enjoyed a superb Valentine's meal there last night, with some lovely touches (a rose and a little gift box with chocolates in) alongside the most delicious sea food and friendly service. We've now eaten here twice in the last few weeks and will be back again very soon.

The food was very nice but let itself down with the shell still attached to the prawn which was in the pie. The 2 course's we had took 1hour 45 minutes from when we sat down to when we finished our meal. On checking the bill there was a extra item we hadn't had, this was rectified are we mentioned it. Also they gave us a free drink as an apology for the wait as they had misplaced our order. We eat there in the summer and it was a fantastic meal and service. I think a staffing shortage could be the problem.

Good quality food although quite expensive and the fish was quite flaky but everyone with me enjoyed their food so maybe i’m just a bit picky. The after dinner chocolates were a fun surprise as they look like pebbles ,which I thought was cute.

Popped in for lunch today, fantastic food, and value. Would recommend to anyone passing through.

Absolutely gorgeous food, apart from the stew wasn't very nice. Lovely staff and lovely food apart from that. A little bit chilly sitting inside, not very warm. But then again the cost of living is horrific so I sort of get it.

Bexhill Choral Society Christmas lunch. We came here last year and were so impressed, we returned, and we were not disappointed. There were 40 of us, and everyone was served quickly. My food was delicious and hot. We could have been a bit warmer, but they had a heater breakdown, so I can't blame them, and they had supplementary heating. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
