This is a shop with beach things and souvenirs. It has a cafe and you can sit and watch the fashions with a cup of coffee . It has a linked toilet which makes it convenient. The owner has great knowledge of Dover and is always welcoming

We visited Dover harbor and my young daughter needed the bathroom. It’s 20 pence to use, but the shop assistant readily gave us a coin when I went in to tell her I only had Euros. The bathroom is clean and modern - my daughter particularly loved the sink with automatic soap, water and drying all in one wall sink. Later, we also bought some sunglasses and snacks - all good quality, and not overpriced.

Totally impressed, that is a real welcome, not some bureaucratic nightmare. Three cheers to the Mayor of Dover!

Lovely little shop with a variety of seaside trinkets and other items... Not just the usual 'rubbish' stuff. Have often found unexpected gifts for friends and worth checking out if at the seafront.

Fabulous little kiosk with award winning toilets. Great owner and staff full of local knowledge and enthusiasm for Dover. Ask for direction to the walk to the White Cliffs. Small range of snacks including locally made Solley's icecreams ( yum!) and Colombian coffee, beachside necessities and lovely quirky gifts. The immaculate toilets have handmade mosaics by a Kentish artists. Ideal for eating a butterscotch waffle cone while watching the ferries come and go to France!

We have for various reasons always seemed to miss eating here until recently. It has always looked inviting and our visit on this occasions gave no reason to think otherwise . The service was good and the meals looked nice. We ordered toad in the hole as we had not seen it on menus very often . So we were quite disappointed when we were served bangers and mash with a separate Yorkshire pudding, not toad in the hole , the ingredients were correct but were not the dish advertised. A bit like Eric Morecombe , all the right notes , not necessarily in the right order . The staff took my rejection of the dish well and did offer alternatives , but I declined, the moment had passed. In fairness the place was quite full of others enjoying their meals so it was obviously doing something right
