Beautiful ice cream and friendly staff! Ideally positioned right next to beach car park. So many flavours… can try a taste of every one if you like before you make up your mind! I still think £13 for 3 single scoop ice creams is a lot but it the going rate across shops down here.

So disappointed. We send all our guests here for ice cream and as locals our kids have always had ice cream here, but on a rare afternoon off we go for a cup of tea. Today on the menu board on the wall it says £1.65, but then we were charged £2.65 each! I asked the guy behind the counter why it was so much and he said ‘that’s what it says on the till’. I said that it was illegal to do this, he just shrugged and said ‘I only work here’. Great answer. This is NOT about the money, this is the principle! Holidaymakers that come will feel ripped off and disgruntled, not a respectful way to treat everyone. 😔

We had the biscoff ice cream and raspberry sorbet. Both were very nice. The raspberry sorbet stood out for me as it was sweet and was made with real strawberries. To top it off the portions were generous for the price.

Was expecting really tasty ice cream. Had two scopes, one of Cornish honey Combe and one of biscoff, served in a chocolate topped waffle cone. The ice cream was just ok, but not amazing, and the flavours really weren’t there. It looked like the flavours were all in the toppings that were sprinkled on the ice cream display containers. The guy who served me went out of his way to get ice cream with no topping. These were expensive ice creams. Two ice creams, one single one double came to £9.65. Expected much more at that price, certainly won’t go back. Advice is, just get a small if you can’t resist, you’ll be less upset at the cost.

Very busy (always a good sign) loads of choice of flavours, toppings and cones. Lots of dog friendly options too. Would absolutely recommend!

We always make sure we visit when we’re on holiday in Cornwall, my favourite ice cream parlour. Lovely flavours, and reasonably priced compared to other parlours in Cornwall. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in perranporth for the day!

Been several times before and loved it, but this time disappointed with flavours - could hardly taste any lavender in the blackberry and lavender, the cherry & nut just had an overwhelming taste of almond essence, the rum & raisin was unbelievably sweet, and the one I chose - fudge - turned out to be just vanilla, with literally one tiny piece of fudge … not sure what’s happened. Would probably try once more to give benefit of doubt.

What a lovely beach , the sun was shining and windy , to cool down it was ice-creams all round and a chicken liver one for the dogs

Came in today to buy 2 ice creams for myself and partner. None of the staff (3 women) were wearing gloves and were very unwelcoming. I asked one of the girls (nicely and quietly, so I didn’t cause a scene or embarrass them) if she could pop some gloves on before handling the cones - as I could see all staff members taking cash payment and handling other jobs (cleaning etc) and touching their faces then handling cones. This is a perfectly reasonable request - and should be followed anyway with food hygiene standards and covid. She refused to do so and explained 3 times that everything already has germs on it and “we’ve all handled everything without gloves” so it shouldn’t matter. I tried calming her down and explained it wasn’t personal, and that I had asked nicely and QUIETLY. She was the one causing a scene, and then she refused to serve me. A different lady served me and popped gloves on. I received no apology and asked for a manager. The girl said he had “popped” out. Extremely rude and unhelpful. Ice cream was tasty, service was TERRIBLE. It’s really not hard to just put some gloves on. The young lady (blonde hair) made it into something much bigger and wasted my time, and her time. Get better staff.

Large selection to choose from and the flavours we had were lovely. Recommended by all 4 of us who visited.

The cream egg ice cream is delicious. It looks like eggs and tastes like the real thing. Rolo ice cream is also scrummy. Rounded off with their own wafer

This is basically a shout out to the young lady who was working alone on Sunday afternoon with a queue going out the door and not losing her cool the whole time. Fair play to you and well done. I hope your manager or the owner reads this and you get rewarded.

Loads of different flavours, traditional and some unusual. Pistachio was rather tasteless, others were ok. Nothing really had a strong g flavour

We called in on our day trip, so many option and it all looked so good. Guess you can’t really go wrong with ice cream? Double scoop coffee and chocolate, was amazing, especially the chocolate one.

We had 2 ice cream, vanilla and strawberry, both very nice and a good helping. Friendly staff but the price was a little bit steep. But I guess you pay this price of location.

Beautiful ice cream as always, they also do sorbets here which is good for my lactose free wife. Doggy ice cream also went down a treat with our Collie. Special mention to the staff who are so busy but still gave us perfect service even though the queue was out of the door.

Ice cream is just delicious. As a family of 4 we had 4 different flavours and all were amazing. Pure silence as they were eaten. Would highly recommend the Boston lime cheesecake flavour!

Not happy about unchallenged/ unmasked dog owner & pet being allowed in the shop today!🤷‍♀️... it was busy & all the customers were compliant with current covid rules ... an unmasked unsocially distanced staff member made a fuss of the dog with his hands too...

Too much choice, daughter went for her favourite mint choc chip, husband tried the honeycomb and I went for Vanilla, amazing waffle cones, slightly larger than other shops, fabulous taste

Great selection of ice creams, a bit chaotic queuing and paying but if you are wearing a mask it's not big deal. Then enjoyed the ice cream sitting watching the dog antics on the beach

Quite long queues gave the hint how good this place was. Covid Secure this takeaway offered amazing homemade cornish ice cream to die for. They also did novelty 'DOG Friendly' which was very popular with the many dog owners in Perranporth

The most tastiest ice cream I’ve ever had. A bit more expensive then most but it is worth it. The only downside is we wasn’t given a nap kin and they do melt faster. So eat quick!

I bought the roast-beef ice cream and now my teeth all turned grey! This lasted for months until I learned eating yeast would solve the problem. Don't go here without some yeast and a dentist on speed-dial!

We had lime cheesecake flavour and it was delicious, best ice cream I’ve had. We sat outside in the lovely late September sunshine and really enjoyed the ice cream. I need to re visit to try banana & custard and Baileys!! Apparently all the ice...

Always go to this ice cream shop for some of the biggest & best flavoured ice creams in Perranporth. Just decided to try a luxury ice cream milkshake & wow it just gets better. Have any of their flavours of ice cream in a thick & delicious milk shake with cream on top! The best!

Great place! Nice stop after a walk across Perranporth Beach with Grandad! Lots of flavours and even dog friendly ice cream. We had a turkish delight and a fruit triffle in a cone which was filled to the brim!

This has been our go to ice cream parlour for such a long time, they offer doggy ice creams which has proven a big hit with our dog. So why did our latest visit leave us with such a sour taste? Firstly our visit was at a weekend, a busy sunny weekend which of course means everyone wants an ice cream so the one person serving had a lot of people to serve. The ice cream flavours are only displayed by the tubs meaning you can only see the flavours when you are nearer the till which makes you then under time pressure to make a decision before you order. The flavours could be put on a board outside the shop to speed up this process. By the time we got to the till the lady serving completely ignored us taking payment from the lady behind us who didn't have the cash on her when she ordered. Absolutely fine but where were the manners from the lady serving who could of said i wont be a minute or similar instead of ignoring us. We finally got served, the man who had been standing chatting began to serve those behind us. i asked for the cones to be all the same - the chocolate dipped cones. Ordered the flavours and paid. My partner brought the ice creams over only two had the cones requested the rest were normal cones which then of course caused an argument between my children as to why one of them didnt have the same cone as the others! We sat outside on the chairs provided which were sticky and dirty and to top it off the ice cream was barely frozen! The cones despite all being the same size contained different amounts of ice cream. £17 lighter and i honestly think I've still got a sour taste in my mouth.

Always been a huge fan of the pavilion, I love the wide choice of Ice cream, and always a change in what you can have. My only negative is the number of tourist 😂

If you visit Perranporth and want an ice cream then this is the place to come. They have a fantastic selection of different flavors all made on site. I had the Bounty Bar flavor and it was one of the best ice creams that I have ever had. They are situated near to the beach and the main car park so make sure that you call in - I am sure that you will not be disappointed.

The mini egg chocolate and the vanilla & vanilla is too die for.

Popped in for ice cream, lots of choice of flavours. You could have a cone or tub and the ice cream was delicious. Lots of people doing the same as it was a lovely September afternoon

Yummm salted caramel and mini egg ice cream. Beautiful. With a flake. Was given this place as a recommendation by my best friend who used to live here. It was lush. Bit hectic would go again though. Deffo go for salted caramel u won't be disappointed

Not only did we have two amazing ice creams, but my husband left his wallet on the bench outside. Fortunately someone handed it in. We did not realise it was lost until we were home, over 80 miles away!

The ice cream is so creamy and full of flavour and there us such a choice of freshly made ice cream it will take you a while to chose one.....plus it does a special doggy ice cream which went down very well with our two dogs....and very reasonable prices

We asked for '2 scoops' expecting the usual portion. Not here! A scoop is a shovel size portion and two scoops is enough for 10 men 😁 The ice cream is wonderful. Try it and enjoy.

This is the second time I've been to Pavillion and I must admit it left me sorely wanting. So they have got rid of the card payments and most of the more exotic flavours and we are left with an ok gelato shop. Sad to say but Ben and Jerrys in Newquay was a lot better and cost the same. If your by the Perranporth beach and desperate it will suffice.

Lovely ice cream generous portion and reasonably priced. Dog luved her chicken liver ice-cream. Only thing I would say obviously I expected to be busy but it was a bit chaotic could have done with a better queuing or serving system as it seemed a bit of a free for all.

I loved this place we came here nearly everyday, whilst we were down here for a holiday. I recommend the mini egg ice cream !

Some great flavours and again the staff are always smiling and very happy to help bit of a que in the summer due to the people in the area but worth a visit truly tasty

We enjoyed ice creams here today. Mint & cookies and cream. They were yummy. Only £6 for three waffle cones and a generous dollop of home made ice cream. Well worth a try and you can sit down to eat them outside and get a cuppa too if you want. The only reason I didn’t give an excellent rating is because there was no honeycomb ice cream left.

Just like the other reviews on here, the staff are so disinterested. Walked almost straight back out. Get to Perran Ice Cream Parlour 2 minutes away you won't go wrong there.

Visited the Pavilion ice cream parlour yesterday with our two grandchildren on their recommendation as they live close by in Fraddon and this is a place they are taken for a treat with their parents following a trip to the beach.

Wow what great ice cream, very creamy massive portions, lots of flavours, you can sit outside on their tables and chairs, be aware of the seagulls they also appreciate the quality of this ice cream and try to steal it. If you want ice cream this is one great place to buy one. Their prices are very reasonable too.

My faves are Cornish coffee and raspberry cream. Delicious, great service — near the beach. Perfect for a treat after a swim!

OMG this has to be the best icecream ever, the salted caramel is to die for, if you want a flavour they've got it and its so smooth, no lumpy ice bits, what's more they do some specifically for your little or big pooch, what more could you want

The ice cream is great here. We always visit when we are in Cornwall. The on,y disappointing part is that the service could be a little better. Staff not particularly helpful, the minute we paid for our ice creams they were on their phones.

The ice cream here is delicious! Being local we get to enjoy all year. Lots of different flavours and you can have a combination. Coffee is good too!

This was the 3rd visit to this parlour as my title says it was yummy but I wont be going back after encountering the manager there. First of all his customer service was nil but when sat eating our ice creams he hitched himself onto the counter....I was always taught worktops where for food not you backside. Then to my dismay he picked his nose and wiped it on his shorts. To top it off he then licked each finger on his other hand and within 2 seconds got up and served some unsuspecting lady an ice cream WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS.

First came here a few years ago and made it a necessity to revisit on our latest trip to perranporth.

Ice cream is gorgeous, however we were disappointed as the waffle cones were stale on 2 separate days and had to be binned.

We'd already had an ice-cream earlier in the day at another parlour in Perranporth, but looking in here had to stop for a second. We both had the raspberry sorbet, which was very tasty!

They have a great range of different ice creams, which are all delicious. However they are a tad bit expensive. They also have ice cream for dogs !

Never been to Perranporth before this week. What a lovely place. Visited the ice cream parlour and what a great. Even the dog was catered for with her own doggy ice cream.

We stopped off there for family ice creams after a visit to the beach, 3 adults and 4 children. Great made-on-the-premises ice creams, great selection of flavours!

Walked it to find all three staff on their phones, then they rock, paper, scissorsed to decided who was going to serve, they tried to do this without us seeing as I don't think this is how you settle things.. then there was no conversation we said what we wanted three times and all three times she forgot, then as we were leaving two more people were coming in and no one got of there phones, it's also over priced WILL NOT BE RETURNING! Sadly this place is a fond memory for me and my partner and is now ruined

Popped in late Sunday afternoon for an ice cream & for my dog to try the cream as well. I know it was late just disappointed that the ice cream was very soft & runny tastes lovely would have liked it to last to get to finish it. Loved this place, masiisve selection of gorgeous sounding flavours! I chose cherry custard and chocolate mini eggs on a 2 scoop chocolate waffle cone, my fiancé chose strawberry and vanilla budge, all flavours were delicious! They even have a selection of doggy icecream!! We didn't bring our dog with us on this holiday and wished we had so he could have had an i cream treat too!! Definitely going to revisit! Comfy sofas outside too to sit on!

The ice cream is delicious, with many different varieties to choose from, including sorbets and soft serve ice cream. However, the advertised dog ice cream was in a separate fridge far away from the main counter, and the ice cream was melted and looked wholly unappealing, even for a dog. The human ice cream was not cheap either, and the atmosphere inside the shop wasn't very pleasant, leaving customers feeling rushed. Overall, I probably would return, but I'd make it a quick visit while the queues were small.

The best ice cream ever! Amazing flavours and generous scoops. We also got some of their dog ice cream for our girl, she tried the chicken and beef flavours and she loved them. Definitely a good reason to visit Perranporth again

We visit once or twice a month, we all enjoy an ice cream including our dog who has tried every doggy flavoured ice cream they sell. We haven't got a favourite each time we have been the flavours have been different all very yummy! Wouldn't go anywhere else in Perranporth

Disappinted by the honeycomb ice-cream. It tasted like a 99 with about three or four very small bits of "honeycomb" in. Our kids went for the chocolate, and this was much better.

Amazingly yummy ice cream loads of flavours to choose from. We weren't sure which flavours our littlest one would like so he got to try some flavours first. They also do children's cones. Breast homemade ice cream and responsible prices worth a visit.

If you fancy some really good handmade ice cream then this is the place for you, this parlour can be found just up from the beach car park. They have many different flavours to choose from, they all look delicious & can be purchased for a very reasonable price.

This is a must place to visit , you are spoilt for choice, there were Ten of us and only two of us choose the same, home made ice cream in almost every flavour you can imagine, plus lots of other tantalising mouth watering foodvey helpful friendly staff...........

Visited here during a week in Perranporth and ended up visiting several times! So many different flavours. The Ferrero Roche flavour is heavenly! Perfect after a trip to the beach.

A great venue for home made Ice cream which u can watch it being made if you wish. But why watch when you can taste heaven! Every ice cream taste under the sun and there's even a couple of ice creams for dogs, pork Ice cream anyone? Profits on the dog ice cream go to local dog charity so worth supporting!Outside seating to sit and people watch and an over head awning comes out if it rains.It must be good when you see people sitting eating under the awning in pouring rain ! Enjoy!

A fantastic choice of ice creams and sorbetsEvery time we pay a visit there are new flavours to try.The passion fruit and the black cherry ice cream are firm favorites.Our dogs have enjoyed the beef flavoured doggy ice cream.We will return for some more yummyness soon .

Dropped by for an ice cream dessert after eating at the Tywarnhayle Inn.This place was rammed all evening, the owner went to Italy to learn the process of making their gillatto and he has it off to a T, I had Belgium chocolate, strawberry and pistachio and it was amazing.Don't miss this place out.

Nothing but glowing things to say; vast choice and gig portions (BIG double scoop in a tub was £3!). Even did 'dog ice cream'!

We set of from Perranporth on a 10 hike circular hike in 26 degrees of sunshine and the only that kept us going was the thought of an ice cream at the end. So many flavours to choose from, and while it may seem expensive for a double scoop, it's not, quite the opposite in fact.You will pay £2 for a ordinary ice cream from every where else. A double scoop of any flavours will cost you £3.90 and you get a huge amount of ice cream and I mean huge amount.And after 10 miles I cannot tell you how much l enjoyed it.

We always buy our ice creams from here when we visit Perranporth. They have a huge variety of delicious flavours to try; Belgian chocolate, Cornish coffee, mint, raspberry sorbet, rum & rasin, strawberry doughnut, ferrero rocher and blueberry to name but a few, as well as different types and sizes of cones and toppings. If you're in Perranporth, go and try one. You won't be disappointed!

Yes, yummy Cornish ice cream, with a flake (or fudge stick if you prefer!) We have visited this establishment numerous times. When it's a bit quieter you can get a seat outside and relax in a comfortable chair whilst you enjoy your ice cream. They have a good selection of ice creams and at several times during the day they make the ice cream which happens just behind the counter so you can watch if you want.

Some lovely flavours of ice creams, the kids nagged us for an ice cream every time we were close by! Really lovely and big portions, not cheap though as 4 double scoop ice creams cost us £14! Never the less we still visited a good few times
