Nipped in for coffee, stood at counter for a long while. Three members of staff there and all three were walking past me and never acknowledged me once although they obviously saw me! I wasn’t expecting instant service, but since I was obviously there, a “hello”, or “be with you in a minute” or any such acknowledgment would have been polite. I left agin and went somewhere with better service. I won’t be returning. It’s basic manners to acknowledge that a customer is waiting, especially since I was the only one at the counter! Training on customer service and manners very much needed there. Shameful!

Lovely cappuccino coffee ,spur of the moment will revisit definitely ! Food looked very appetizing ,we had just had lunch so we we will be back to try the food soon !

Always pop in for a coffee and cake when shopping. Staff are really friendly and the cafe is well laid out.

Nice Saturday afternoon chill was enjoyed here. Fab cup of tea, friendly staff and a lovely piece of cake. Even a small soft play area that kept my daughter entertained.

I went to have some coffee with my uncle and as we ordered Carol was so nice even though the place was full of people, she managed to be so nices. So did The other blond ladie I believe her name was also Carol, or I may have gotten confused but, It felt like hanging out with friends. I enjoyed it very much , try the mince pays they are delicious and the bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich, and a Large capuchino, it was heaven. Thanks!

Found a couple of pictures on line for our new Kitchen so decided to check them out and decided to go to Pause Cafe for a bite to eat We selected a bowl of mushroom soup each and a ciabatta to share. I don’t usually like mushroom soup but food it very tasty Service was quick and staff very friendly

Sadly spent mother's day here today. Service was far too slow. We had to wait 1 hour between courses. Waitresses were hard working but when food came it was dry and over cooked and cold. Had to send burnt yorkshire puddings back. Cauliflower cheese missed off one of our plates. Few of us wanted to leave after waiting so long for main course. But rest of family were saying no dont make a fuss. We had 2 children with us who were getting upset with the wait. WILL NOT BE RETURNING sadly. Ruined mother's day even tho there was only 4 groups of tables celebrating service was awful. We did complain but didn't want to make a fuss in such small venue. To me they cudnt accommodate the amount of customers that attended which was a shame. Waitress knew we weren't happy. But it wasn't their fault Sadly reading other reviews owner doesn't like criticism and truth. Not sign of customer satisfaction if owner doesn't listen and believe reviews. I would of loved to say it was amazing but sadly it wasn't at £30 a head

164-166 Liverpool Road North MaghullService best there is in L31. Good food, drinks and vibes. Accommodating and speedy, unlike other pubs in maghull. Will definitely be back again.

226 Southport RoadWent to this restaurant yesterday for Sunday lunch which was fabulous. Crispy toast potatoes, mash, cabbage and carrot and turnip all lovely, chicken moist, beef tender good flavour and bellypork to die for. Sticky toffee pudding for desert with lashings of sauce and ice cream. Excellent service always with a smile . Thank you to everybody who made it an enjoyable lunch especially the chef.😁

84 College RoadThis is our 2nd visit for Sunday lunch. The food was really good. However the service was very slow this time. We waited an hour for our main after having our starter. We were also sat next to the door. Which on a very cold day in December was not ideal. Every time the door opened there was a cold blast. We were a table of 5 the previous visit it was just 2 of us. So not sure if this is the reason the food took so long. As the Kitchen only looks small.
