Popped to the cornish bakery today before meeting some friends and despite it being busy I was served quickly by the friendly staff. Big thank you to the team

Came in on saturday afternoon on my own for a quiet 5 mins had a coffee, pleasant atmosphere. Busy but being kept as clean as possible.

Visited Wednesday was a very busy day but Leanne and Julie were very quick between them. The coffee and the ham hock roll was amazing thanks I will return soon.

On a trip to Gloucester Quay I had to pop in to get a tasty pasty and some coffee. The pasty was great as always but the coffee was fantastic giving me plenty of energy for the rest of the day

Excellent rang of food to choose from and the staff were so friendly. We came at lunch and the staff were so very fast, we didn’t have to wait long for the food and drinks.

Hello....I frequently visit the Gloucester Cornish Bakery. I find the staff to be very happy and always make me feel welcome. We are now on first name terms, I look forward to seeing them everyday. I am always being introduced to new products, the latest being Thai Chicken Soup.....delicious. Keep up the good work and you have a customer for life... :)

This is my third visit in recent weeks and one of my regular places to stop for lunch on my way to college. The bakery is always spotlessly clean, food is well presented and very tasty with a good selection of pasties and pastries to suit most tastes. Staff are very welcoming and friendly wh nothing being too much trouble.I often buy something to eat in and to take out for later.

Popped in for a pasty and a coffee, the pasty’s were lush but the staff we a bit abrupt. Perhaps this was due to them being very busy but still no excuse. There were great social distancing measures in place and dividers between each table

First opportunity to have the new food discount. Had totally forgotten when asked £1.20 for a creamy coffee. The atmosphere and seating is excellent but the coffee even at the price was not that good.

Myself and my wife both being over 70 felt very safe and happy eating in the Cornish bakery at Gloucester Quays. It’s was very clean and the staff were all friendly. The young lady was always cleaning up after customers ensuring the cubicle was clean and sanitized ready for the next customers. It’s card only but most places are at the moment so it’s expected.

Friends and I visited Gloucester Cornish bakery and where treated to some delicious pasties and better service from the lovely lady named sage.

Pleasing to see the measures put in place and that the staff are their normal happy selves. Great job and glad to be a returning guest

Ok, so the pasties are not particularly cheap but they are tasty and big enough to fill you up. £3.40 Also sell a spicy sausage roll here which I purchased at £1.25 Can also get a hot tea here.

We popped in for a bite and a drink at lunch time. I liked the use of the Cornish theme in a large wall picture ,seagulls on the napkins and pale blue and white striped tops for the staff. Light and spacious.We had a tasty hot sausage roll and traditional pasty.Tempting pastries on offer too. Coffee and chocolate hot and good. Staff engaged properly with the customer and made a point of smiling and saying 'goodbye' which gained them points from me!

The vegan pasty was good, a bit of a mush inside, but perfectly pleasant, hot and filling, however, the problem is that I ordered a soya hot chocolate, only to be told after i paid that it was a dairy based chocolate syrup they used (why not just use cocoa powder like Costa/Nero) even though they use soya for the bulk of the drink. They also heated the soya milk in the same pot they'd just used for doing my partners dairy milk Latte (without washing it), so if my reasons for wanting soya had been a food intolerance then their poor allergen handling would have just caused a customer pain and discomfort. After all that, the chocolate was mediocre and not very chocolaty.

We visit this place regularly , food is great , but on Sunday , very disappointed we were served food by a young girl who as long hair which is in a pony tail , but still very long when she bending to get food , for you , I said that I didn't want that cake as her hair had touch it , she went to get another , as the same thing was about to happen , if we can see this ,then the one in charge can see it , hygiene should be first and foremost .

Bought 2 take out pasties from here. They are really good and worth the money! Since my last visit they had more staff so less time waiting which is good if you eating in here!

Estábamos visitando los muelles de Gloucester y necesitábamos una taza, así que nos detuvimos en The Cornish Bakery, ambos tomamos té, tuve un danés y mi esposa tuvo un bollo festivo de Navidad. La chica que nos sirvió nunca sonrió, el té estaba tibio, el bollo festivo era más como un pastel de roca, era tan difícil y mi danés era normal. Por lo que pagamos y lo que obtuvimos, estaba muy caro. No volveremos a ir allí de nuevo y encontraremos otro lugar.

Visited with the family for some coffee and cake. The service was slow and coffees and cakes distinctly average. Not value for money.

Called in here after shopping in the Quays. Perhaps we were influenced by the name as we are from Cornwall.The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a nice selection of pastries and cakes on offer. We did not wait long to be served and opted for a cream tea but instead of tea we enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate.You can sit inside or outside but obviously outside is noisier being out in the arcade. Prices seem on par with other similar outlets of this kind and had no complaints. It is not posh but is OK

Nice Cornish pastie and coffee for a quick and filling lunch. We sat outside in the arcade - not the ‘Ritz’ but acceptable.

Initially, I had got this chain confused with one that we used a few years ago at a London Railway Station so wasn't going to bother. On shopping in the Quays, one of the Staff approached us with hot samples of the steak and stilton pasty. Tasted delicious so I went and bought some frozen ones. The reheating instructions were comprehensive and I was pleased to note they could be heated from frozen. As a Retired Home Economist I can be rather critical but the instructions were spot on and the pasties delicious. Staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful (I was in a wheelchair). Highly recommend. Thanks

Very handy for lunch in the Quays shopping outlet. Lovely coffee and snack type foods. Staff were very pleasant.

Easy going spot for pasties and more. We choose Portugue custard tarts and cheese+ ham flan. Nice welcoming place, nothing too special, but reliablly good pasties and pastries, also it is all on one level so excellent for the less mobile and those with pushchairs/ buggies.

I normally love the vegan options for the Cornish bakery pasties, so feeling hungry I was happy to see there was a Cornish bakery here.

Popped in for a cuppa with my husband and twins. Only one high chair left available so used that, the straps were filthy so hopefully they do get cleaned regularly. Husband ordered at the counter and brought back a tea and a lemonade for me, very small lemonade which was basically soda water and a dash of cordial which was not mixed well because as soon as I drank a third all I could taste was water! £3 for water! Hubby enjoyed his tea. It was busy so possibly food is better?! Would we visit again? Maybe

Visited the Cornish Pasty Co in Gloucester with my partner to grab a coffee, delighted to find a choice of GF cakes, only to discover they were displayed uncovered next to the other cakes.

We had lunch in the Cornish Bakery Gloucester Quays. We were on an organised trip and we’re short of time so we stopped for a quick lunch before boarding our bus . We both chose Traditional Large Cornish Pasty with coffee to eat in . The service was quick, the coffee smooth and the Cornish pasty delicious, full of chunks of meat and vegetables and served piping hot . Lots of lovely photographs of Cornwall on the walls so even though it’s situated in a shopping mall it has an airy feel. We’d definitely eat there again .

We recently ordered tea and scones. The scones were nice but I asked for a strong pot of tea, the women said "well if you want a strong tea you have to buy another pot of tea" !! .I asked can I just have another teabag please , "well I can but I will charge you for a pot of tea". Very rude and the customer service was awful. Would not recommend and would never go there again.

Visited on a busy weekend and the food was superb. Tastiest pasty I’ve ever eaten. All the staff were wonderful and polite and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Well done to you all

Coffee beats all the major high street brands, best ever. Just wish the staff would smile a bit!!!! Food is good for bakery items but crockery often stained.

This is a great little eatery, staff are friendly & welcoming. Food is always great, hot & good value for money. Always visit when I’m visiting my parents in Gloucester.

We stopped in for a drink and snack, the queue was long but soon went down, such a variety of pasties and pastries, the drinks were hot and plenty of place to sit, would visit again.

I have visited the Cornish Bakery on many ocassions and have never been disapointed by the food on offer which is resonably priced for the quality also. Highly Recomended.

Es difícil pasar por aquí sin entrar y descubrir qué es el delicioso olor. Los pasteles son buenos y cuando van acompañados de una bebida caliente, hacen un gran almuerzo. Los niños son bienvenidos. A veces se llena con la cola que se extiende fuera de la entrada. El personal está ocupado y hace todo lo posible para limpiar las mesas rápidamente.

First time in the Quay’s Cornish Bakery today for lunch. The welcoming staff helped me make my decision and made helpful recommendations. I had a sausage roll and it was very nice. Would recommended to anyone in the area!

Estaré trabajando en Chapelle en abril, así que pensé en reciclar mi Nissan Leaf. Fue fácil de encontrar y la carga del vehículo eléctrico en el nivel 2 del estacionamiento fue gratuita con la aplicación Pod Point y mi cable. Fue y echó un vistazo alrededor y encontró la panadería Cornish Bakery. Mi o mi, tuve un pastel tradicional y café. La gente la observé durante media hora. La tienda estaba limpia y ocupada. Un hombre joven estaba limpiando las mesas poco después de que la gente se fuera y todo el ambiente era fresco.

Went here with friends for a quick bite to eat. Great selection of pasties available, and the one we had were very tasty. Our only small complaint is the cups were small and not filled to the top. Small quibble i know

No complaints about the pasty I had but what's with the little drinks. The cups have been changed to what I would now say is the smallest servings of hot drinks in Gloucester. Bad move Cornish pasty company.

Had been to the Cornish Bakery in Portsmouth which was good. The coffee here was not very hot so a bit disappointing. Cake (scone) though was very nice and plenty of table space.

Had a good lunch, excellent service and food. After I had left realised I had left my phone on the table. The friendly staff had left it at the centre reception for me. Thanks.

We on called for a coffee and was tempted by an apple and rhubarb pastry which was lovely. While we were there an elderly gentleman dropped 2 pasties off his tray onto the floor. Within seconds staff were picking up the dropped pasties and immediately replaced them with new pasties. The service couldn't have been better and the staff should be congratulated.

I used to look forward to visiting this shop, their Cornish pasties used to be really excellent, tasty well baked. Then it apparently changed hands and the quality of their pasties and gone from bad to worse. My last visit had to leave the pasty half eaten it was so bad. The saving grace the coffee and service is still excellent.

Popped in as my son was hungry and had a coffee while he ate. Glad I did as the espresso was very good, cheaper and better than the obvious high street coffee chains.

popped in for a naughty savoury treat to keep me going whilst doing my Christmas shopping, low cost, hot and tasty. Just the job.

This café is in a prime location which is why its so busy, but it lets itself down through poor attention to detail. There is a good range of pastys and cakes but the thick crust wasn't cooked properly even though the filling of my bacon, leek and cheese pasty was nice. The flavour of the pistachio and sour cherry cake was good but it was dry as it wasn't stored under a cover which would also protect it from germs. Similarly the coffee tastes good but is served in a small cup so represents poor value. Service was disorganised and the tables need to be cleared more regularly to make this a more inviting place for lunch.

We had a large traditional pasty. One end was tasteless and one end was tasty where all the filling was. I had Pork & Cider pasty. It was bland, wet & tasteless with the added bonus of a hair! I wanted We were asked if were wanted brown sauce and said yes. These are not complimentary. You had to pay 40p each for them. This was not mentioned at all. You get given sauce to cover up the lack of seasoning in the pasties.

If you want a pasty in Gloucester then this is the place to go. Simple but delicious pasties with a drink made a great lunch. Sadly the staff were somewhat chaotic everyone trying to do everything rather than be organised. This lead to slow service and a long queue, it is easy to improve

Nice and bright,plenty of cleared tables,loads of variety,good coffee. Had the traditional pasty,but it wasnt hot enough for me just warm so gets an average rating from me.

The service we received on Sunday 25th November was appalling. It was early in the morning and the assistants didn't communicate with the customers. We had to wait so long for two coffees and pastries. The coffees were cold and the pastries were dry and burnt.

Called in as my 3 year old wanted a sausage roll Sharon served us. My daughter had her heart set in a particular one as all children do, Sharon said it's company policy to take from the back and didn't humor my daughter which left my daughter heart broken and crying. I managed to get to the till and after paying she walked off and left it there not saying thank you or anything. I was rather disappointed as they say they are warm friendly and caring think they may need to rethink their branding.

Visité la panadería de Cornualles para almorzar, baguette y café. ¡Me sorprendió ver que la baguette tenía la mitad del tamaño que tenía en mi última visita, hace solo dos meses! Alrededor de las 4 no tenía una buena relación calidad-precio. No voy a visitar de nuevo.

Disfrutamos de un café muy agradable en este establecimiento. Nos sirvieron eficientemente y encontramos el lugar limpio. El pastel y los pasteles se veían deliciosos, resistimos en esta ocasión, pero sin duda volveremos a probarlos.

Tuvimos que esperar más de un cuarto de hora por dos empanadas tradicionales (¡qué cosa hay que acabar)! Estábamos comiendo, sentados y por lo tanto observando mucho. Cuando los pasteles estaban listos, nuestra taza de té estaba fría y casi había desaparecido. Era necesario hacer cola y pagar nuevamente para recolectar dichos pasteles.

I never knew there were so many types of pasty. lots of choice, piping hot, polite service, a choice of eating in or taking away reasonable prices.

Went into the Cornish Bakery today for the pork & apple pasty they never disappoint! The staff are always very efficient , friendly & consistence with there service , thank you to the manager who obviously is doing a great job

Just popped in for tea and cold drink and a Pastel de nata, which was one of the best I have tasted. The cafe was quiet but the girls behind the counter were so busy chatting that the tables were very dirty with lots of clearing needed. this spoilt our visit somewhat, reminders of BHS. When we left at 5.30pm on 12/9, no-one else was there so would have been a perfect time to clear, but when we walked past 15 minutes later, it was still the same.

Dropped in whilst my wife was in the shop next door to get a quick bite to eat before heading home after a days shopping. I’m in a wheelchair and quite used to be looked down on a problem to most shops I enter but not here. All the staff I encountered including the manager were really helpful and friendly but in a genuine way which makes a lovely change. After passing me my order(which tased just great by the way), I dropped my bag over one of the counters, Rebecca was there in a flash helping me pick it up. Such a lovely member of staff as were all the rest in the shop. A lot of other shops and restaurants could learn slot from this place

Stopped here for a bite to eat at lunchtime during a mid-week shopping trip. The traditional pasty was very tasty and full of what you'd expect in such a pasty. It was warm, but it would have been better a little hotter. The ham baguette was very tasty. The coffee, served in nice cups and saucers, was the best we have tasted in a cafe. The staff were friendly, and it was nice to see a dedicated barista, rather than having the person taking the money trying to do both jobs, which meant the service was quick.

This is our favourite pit stop at The Quays. Visited today the staff are friendly, the coffee very good and love the pastel de nata (reminds me of holidays in Portugal). Like sitting outside the shop and people watching.

Staff are rude. Every empty table was full of the plates, rubbish etc from previous customers. Tables were filthy. Waited 9 minutes whilst staff made 2 milkshakes.

I took my mother up to Gloucester Quays for a trip out in the dry on a wet day.

We came here to have a break whilst walking around the outlets,the service was good alas the pasty’s were not my wife’s consisted mostly of gristle my was ok,the seating outside was ok but overtime they got compressed and none of the staff could be bothered to rearrange them so half of the tables were unusable.

I love a good pasty, but today, hot and thirsty we needed tea.

Went to the Cornish Bakery yesterday. I call it the pasty restaurant. I lived in Plymouth and went to school there and grew to love pasties. Only the real thing though! This is as near as you can get for a masses produced outlet but they are good. I am not a fan of all the other flavours and I must admit I like a bit more pepper in mine but they are very enjoyable.

Really good coffee and well priced...avoid the lines at Costa next door! But please as with all cafes keep the tables clean..it takes seconds but leaving the customers to clean it themselves leaves a bad taste

When visiting Gloucester Quays we stopped here for a break, we didn't eat but ordered a pot of tea each. It was a very good cuppa obviously using good quality tea the cafe is bright airy and comfy with friendly staff

I popped out for a snack into Gloucester Docks outlet sores, there was plenty to see and do, i stopped for a quick snack at The Cornish Bakery, i had a pasty and cream tea, lovely food , reasonably priced.

I had 2 sausage rolls and a cake it was to oily as u can see it dripping after 4 bites I put in bin. Woke up this morning and I been sick twice. I didn't have anything else yesturday other than what I got at the Cornish pasty

All tables full of dirty crockery, staff worked at an unbelievable slow pace , no acknowledgment from any of them, we had to clear a table so we could sit down, they ran out of plates to serve with

As usual I've had a luke warm pasty in Gloucester Quays and as usual the staff assured me it would be hot. This time I couldn't be bothered to get it heated up. I've learnt my lesson and will not be back.

We ordered a coffee and a cake from quite a range of cakes. There was also Cornish pasties and sausage rolls etc which looked appetising. The service was reasonably good considering how busy they were but when trying to find a table that was clean and cleared away was very difficult. Clearly not enough staff as the staff working there were very busy. You can sit inside or outside the cafe and still be under cover in the Designer Village. The coffee and cake were good.

May be because it is close to the main entrance this place is usually busy. Great selection of drinks and food all served by friendly and eficient staff.

I appreciate it’s Saturday and staff probably had long day but ordered food and cold drink and got a sigh and eye roll from woman behind counter (I don’t drink hot drinks) straws are now loose in a pot where customers queue - not covered or wrapped - little unhygienic?! - great food just prefer less attitude because I ordered an ice drink

I visited the bakery on friday and a blonde girl served me, I think she is the manager as she had the right attitude! She was authoritative, friendly and so helpful; offering to carry my tray over for me. She asked how I was and delivered the best service I've had from there. I've been served by the actual manager before and I can honestly agree that this was a LOT better. Thank you for making my stay so great, shes an asset to the company.

The food was good but staff let them down. Staff looked rushed behind the counter when it got busy, didn't seem like they knew what each other were doing. Also a lot of tables with dirty plates/cups on. Only when a line formed did staff start clearing tables. Also during my visit all I could really hear was one of the staff members laughing very loudly - don't get me wrong I don't mind people laughing but when it's all I could hear from the opposite side of the cafe, it seemed a bit extreme.

Went to the bakery today with my family after a spot of shopping in the quays. I must praise how beautiful the pasty’s are full of ingredients and not al pastry, good atmosphere between the staff and excellent service had from all

I chose to come here for lunch instead of Costa next door. The lady serving us was extremely rude and blunt. Im not a demanding person for customer service and understand people can have off days, and it was a busy saturday service, but she was simply rude beyond reason. Not very appreciated considering we did nothing wrong. The barista staff were friendly and refreshing, it was seemingly only the lady serving us who was rude.

Had a lovely lunch with my daughter. Sat near the counter and was really impressed with the staff. Very cheerful and helpful to everyone.
