The Park Life Cafe has a pleasant location in the centre of Queen's Park, with a nice balcony at the back overlooking the boating lake. I went with a friend for lunch, but several of the items on the menu were unavailable. I ended up with a toasted tea cake and coffee which were fine, although the selection of cakes was a little limited (and prices for, say a brownie or slice of banana bread seemed quite high). My friend's panini was OK, but rather expensive for what it was. Service was efficient.

We visit the park most days and always stop at the cafe for a latte and a chat with friends. The staff are lovely and so accommodating. Lattes and ice creams are so good!! Thanks to all the staff who always greet us with a smile!

Situated in the beautiful Queens Park Crewe With beautiful view from the terrace .. a limited menu .. it all just seemed a bit disorganised. No one else waiting but we stood for a few minutes waiting to be served. Coffee was delicious and sandwich OK but service spoiled our experience.

Ordered a pepperoni, tomato jam and melted cheddar cheese toastie. the pepperoni was tasteless; the cheese was 'plastic' slices so not worth the £6.25. Plus the young woman preparing food touched her long ponytail and wiped her fingers down the front of her clothes. Food hygiene certificate??????

We walk semi-regularly in Queens Park and often wondered what it was like in Park Life. On this occasion our curiosity was not well rewarded. Just for context, this was about 10am on a weekday. At the time of ordering there were 2 tables outside. We were served immediately - no queue, but unfortunately that is where the positives mostly end. We ordered 2 'ice cream' milkshakes, a breakfast muffin and plant-based breakfast. This came to £21.90 in total. Expensive, especially for the area but we are generally happy to pay for good quality and portion sizes. It took over 15 mins for the milkshakes to arrive in clear plastic cups. Neither were made with ice cream - they were an unpleasant texture and seemed like some milk mixed with ice alone. The banoffee tasted like a banana blended with ice, the 'vanilla' was undrinkable - zero vanilla with a weird milk taste. Very disappointing considering they had Kelly's ice cream proudly on display at the counter (including vanilla and banoffee flavours). Downright insulting considering they were £3.75 each for a small! Then about 5 mins later the food arrived. The breakfast muffin was a single cumberland sausage, an egg and cheese. The filling actually tasted nice but still very steep for over £6. The muffin was as small as they come (almost comical) and chewy. The plant-based breakfast was far worse at £8.75. Two tiny slices of white bread barely toasted and lukewarm. It actually had two portions of butter on the toast - yet it's supposed to be plant-based? The 'vine tomatoes' were actually two halves of a beef tomato barely warmed on a grill. Veggie sausages were alright, as were the mushrooms but again lukewarm. We certainly won't be returning. The other few guests had commented on the wait for drinks - 2 cappuccinos seemed to take well over 10 mins. The reply was that they were short-staffed but I saw 3 behind the counter when we ordered and even by the time we left it did not seem busy. Photo attached.

Went in Just for some ice creams that were ridiculously expensive, but the staff were so rude with no sign of a smile and one of the staff kicking off as we had the freezer open for a few seconds whilst looking for an ice cream and toilets were unusable.such a miserable place in just a beautiful park .

Enjoyed time in beautiful Queens Park. Stopped for a snack, ordering was slow, once ordered coffee came pretty promptly. However, we had to wait some 25 minutes for a panini and toasted sandwich, by which time we had finished our coffees. Large number of tables had not been cleared and the place looked uninviting. Will not return.

Now I get it was the end of the day (but still had 6 minutes till closing time) but to refuse my pregnant wife’s access to the toilets is beyond comprehension. I was so speechless that I had to walk away and my partner had to wee next to our car. Wouldn’t recommend or ever return as the staff were more than rude!

Meant to be a toastie .Sandwich toastie machine in the name , and my burger white flowered bun , bland barely warm burger , bit of lettuce, cheese and jalapeños, it was all bun , how hard is it to make a good burger and proper toastie , milk for tea served in disposable cup .really wish we had taken pictures, extremely poor food , shame because location is great

We love the Park Life cafe so much , the staff are excellent and both the coffee and food are really good. It's such a relaxing place to be with lovely views wherever you look. Alex has recently taken over from Steve as manager and he's doing a really good job . Steve was a brilliant manager so Alex had big shoes to fill , and he's certainly done that. So next time you visit the park pop in for a drink and , perhaps , a bacon butty 😋😋😋 , you'll be made very welcome

Waited in a queue for a long time to get served and during my time in the queue you can see the food being prepared. I saw staff eating while preparing food and even wiped their nose with their hand. Not once did staff wash their hands and continued to make sandwiches. This is bad enough without still being in a pandemic. The floors were filthy and worktops messy. The lady at the till when I started to order said stop after I had just said I would like 2 drinks and said that it has been busy all day in a frustrated way. The drink I ordered was made in 2 seconds and I don’t see why people were waiting so long. I was going to order more food but we had just chips as this was the safest option after what I had witnessed. The cafe is in an amazing setting.

Girl taking orders and money then went to prepare sandwich. No gloves or washed hands. Did not have mask over face but pulled down. Then owner arrived unloaded some stock then handled the prepared orders. Again no hands washed. Surely this should be a must. After 25 minutes wait for our drinks I have to say they were hot and tasty. The young lad taking orders out to customers and clearing up, was polite and tried his best from what we saw

Never been here before the park is beautiful. My self and my 2 daughters had a great time! We played on the park. Watched the swans and took a ride on the peddle boats which I highly recommend! The boys running the boats are a credit to the company so helpful. We visited the cafe and got drinks and ice cream. Lots of choice. Girls loved their bubblegum ice creams!! Really great day
