Best battered sausage, spam fritter and chips that I've had in quite a while

Amazing fish and chips from here. Use it every month at least once. Beautifully cooked food. Always cooked to order so you might have to wait at busy times. Amazing!!

I normally collect order and will do in future. order online and they rip you off. large cod and chips has some how turned into a small cod and a handful of chips.

One of my favourite chippies in Folkestone. Great food, great service and friendly staff too. But since Sandys opened I no longer go here.

Chips were a bit over cooked, pie was warm, as well as the mushy peas, the only thing that was hot, was the jumbo sausage

Overall a decent takeaway, food is nice, the place is tidy, plenty of options to choose from on the menu not just the usual fish & chips

Extremely disappointed with our order. The chips were old and bruised. Left delivery notes for the driver which were not followed so food was late and cold!

Fish was perfect, but the chips weren’t all that, some burnt not warm at all. Mushy peas for lovely as well.

The chips were over cooked, had to soak them with vinegar and sauce. Not as hot as normal

Excellent. From beginning staff were welcoming, patient and helpful. Food was served hot and fresh. Portions were adequate and prices were affordable. Only fault, no take away cups for tea. They owe me a cup of tea. A Reason to return. I haven't had cod roe for years. Amazing. Well done.

We had fish and chips at the shop it was so yummy. Good service and fantastic atmosphere. We were welcomed and given good recommendations on what to get. The food was fresh and cooked on order. Enjoyed it 10/10

The food was okay, the fish bites, was more just like batter, was hardly any fish in there, and the chips were quite cold.

Quick stop at Folkestone chippy, nice staff clean place best food

Gave delivery instructions on order but the driver spent 15 mins going round and round trying to find us! Food was cold when it arrived! If delivery directions are provided why do the drivers not read them?!

We were about to take the Shuttle to go back to France when we decided to hop in. It was my very first Fish and Chips experience and I can proudly say that it did not disappoint. The food was everything that I expected it to be if not even better and the staff is very friendly. Honestly a great find!

Been here before and I always had a nice fish and chips takeaway meal. Yesterday I went again to have the takeaway and I have to say I was disappointed. I have ordered cod and chips and when I got home I discovered that I had a nondescript fish instead of cod. How do I know? It didn't smell like cod, didn't taste like cod, didn't look like cod. The fish was horrible and stinky. It was too late to go back to ask for a refund but I will not go back for fish supper at Papas.

I always order from Papas; the quality is normally excellent. However, last night the batter was soggy and the fish wasn’t hot. Definitely not up to the normal high standard.

The chicken was dried out and inedible so I gave it to my dogs.

According to the map the driver went to Hawkinge first so food was only warm

Kids coz and chips meal came in just paper so everything was completely soggy and cold in edible. Ordered at 6pm, received at 7:30 just for it to be disgusting

Delivery took 85 mins when it is advertised to have 20-30 min delivery time, if it had been a Fri/Sat that would still be a push but maybe would be acceptable, on a Monday though it’s pretty rubbish. Batter was chewy and probably the smallest piece of Rock for £11.20. This used to be the best chippy in Folkestone but tonight’s experience was very disappointing.

Fish was well cooked with crispy batter and the chips were hot and crunchy.

All of the food was cold and susage in batter was no batter on the susage as it was as if it was sat there for hours. Was not worth £29 and i woukd not be going back

I ordered a meal from Alibaba in Folkestone on 26th Oct. Despite you taking £27.20 out of my bank, my order wasn’t delivered as there was a problem in the shops cooking facilities. The owner of the shop spoke to your customer services on my behalf. I was advised that the money would be reimbursed, up to now I haven’t received anything.

Just popped in to get mother a small cod and chips. The service was excellent, as it wasn't very busy at that time of day. So I can't really comment on the atmosphere. Three stars for the food due to the fish batter being slightly under cooked. Also, the price was way too high. Guess that is the reason they're not busy.

Paid 5.60 for a large chips which is slightly bigger than the kids chips I paid for disappointing isn't the word I know this isn't there standard normally

Very nice place, we had medium cod and medium rock fish with chips - everything was super fresh and very crispy!

Everything freshly made, good selection. Bring a few minutes with you as everything is freshly prepared on demand. There are some seats available for waiting or, if necessary, for immediate consumption.

Bought medium cod and chips twice but very disappointed in the size of the fish was very small and consider that for £11 at the Papa's in town you would have gotten jumbo cod. Feel I have been rip off definitely not impressed.

Called in on Sunday evening after returning from France,I had cod and chips,my son had haddock and chips,beautifully cooked to order, ate in to save having a smelly car lol,staff are lovely, the chef came and asked us if everything was ok,will definitely call again when in Folkestone.

food arrived but was just warm which was surprise as normally its ok .

Best by far so much so we travel from Dover to get our tea from here.

Was OK. Everything was nice but not the best fish and chips in the area. It was just ok for quality. I'd order again if I couldn't be bothered to walk to our regular like I did this time. Disappointing part of this order is the large chips which usually large feeds our family of 2 adults 1 child brilliantly from other places. So called large turned up and it was more like a small in comparison to other places. Over £5 for a large chips you'd expect a bit more. Everything was just OK. Nothing wrong but nothing to rave about

Don't assume the Cod comes with Chips, at 10.50 I assumed I'd get some chips. . after all they are cheap. . . Please make this clear when ordering (Fish only).
