Been coming here 10 years. Great coffee and food. Staff always look after you and your dog is welcome. A real gem and a refreshing change from Costa and Starbucks. Support local business where you can!

After visiting this cafe on several occasions prior to its refurbishment, and having the best vegetarian breakfast in the entire area of Buckinghamshire, I visited today and was very disappointed they seem to have replaced the vegan breakfast with forcacha bread covered in mayo and which was not very appealing at all so left it . And just had the avocado and mushrooms and cheese. So left rather hungry. I also ordered a capachino and it was not nice rather bitter and had a unpleasant taste . It's such a shame they have minimised the menu from what it used to be . Unfortunately until I see some improvements I won't be going back . Please bring back the vegan breakfasts . . They were amazing.

I've been extremely frustrated with the cafe scene here in the UK for a while now. Having travelled to numerous countries, I've gotten used to a high quality cafe experience, and the same ol' chocolate brownie - carrot cake - croissant offering of extremely limited imagination always lets me down. So this year I decided I was going to go off the beaten track and look for original, individual cafes with unique menus. Having scoured the net for suggestions, my daughter and I made our way to Pantry one Saturday morning. First impressions: small interior and a bland decor. No problem. We're here for the food. So we sat down, and were immediately disappointed upon seeing the menu. They'd removed the one thing I was really looking forward to trying, the shakshuka. And their selection of dessert was minimal (and included the drudgery of the dreaded chocolate brownie). Anyway, we ordered what was a very expensive breakfast (sourdough bread with avocados and micros - more micros than anything else on the plate) and not very filling. The coffee was fairly average, wouldnt order it again. What was really good was the pear and almond cake, lovely and moist and creamy. Hence the two stars: one for the cake, and the other for a pleasant and friendly waitress. Having tried it, I wont be going back there again. I dont mind paying the high prices for food that is absolutely worth it, but not for mediocrity dressed up with micros.

Delicious food, food coffee and amazing service (even with two over-excited small children). Couldn't have been better.

Beautiful little venue, simple and clever decor that makes the best of original features whilst being bright, airy and welcoming. Staff were attentive and helpful at every stage. Cakes were fabulous and very fresh. Would love to return sometime. Thank you

For me, I've always had excellent food and service so I don't really understand Cloud-Matt's comments especially when you look at all the other positive 5 star reviews there are here. I quite like the fact that the menu gets changed from time to time- I would just say to Cloud-Matt- why not try something new- you may find another favourite by doing so.

I love this place, the staff are awesome, the coffee is great, so why 3 stars? It’s because they just won’t listen to customer feedback! I’ve been visiting here for years, my regular breakfast spot, mainly due to their famed Breakfast Quesadilla. You needed to experience it to believe it, a stunning mix of potato, avocado, chorizo, egg, cheese, salsa - beautifully presented. An absolute favourite amongst customers. The best start to your day. During the first Lockdown the restaurant refurbished (very nicely), and when they re-opened, inexplicably the Breakfast Quesadilla had disappeared from the new Italian themed menu. The new breakfast options are ok, but not a patch on what we lost. I’ve been in the restaurant and heard multiple people ask why their favourite dish disappeared. The staff told me it was the best selling item. Yet they resolutely refuse to bring it back. How can I score this place higher than average when this is their approach to customer feedback? I hope to delete this review one day when it returns. Until then I will remember how good this place used to be and make the best of the current menu.

Very nice food, lovely service, great music and quite possibly the finest fare in Hazlemere. Toilets very nice too, strongly recommend the pear and almond cake

Our new go to cafe for a weekend treat! It's hard to come by places nowadays that have not only great food but great service too and this place has both. I can't recommend the food enough, especially the cheese toastie - i promise you it wont disappoint!! Today however we tried something different, the Italian Breakfast which was just absolutely delicious! Highly recommend and can't wait to be back.

This was a truly great little place to have a bite, a drink and cake. Friendly and efficient service. The food is high quality, well presented and very tasty indeed. Not cheap but good value for money. Expect to pay £15-20 per person. I have to give 5 stars to this little place because there was nothing for me to mark them down.

Was in the area on Saturday morning and tried this absolute gem for breakfast. They have an excellent Covid set up, serving coffee, pastries, cakes and even hot food via the window. I opted for a small Americano and Italian breakfast (fresh focaccia with sausages, egg, bacon, hash brown and more) carefully packaged and prepared quickly and efficiently. Great coffee, great food, great service. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning to try other items on the menu. Bravo.

Lovely friendly service, seating not too comfortable but great communal tables. My vegan dish was so tasty will be back next week for more. My husband enjoyed the bacon and brie toastie.

Went for lunch with a friend today. We both had salads which were interesting, unusual and absolutely delicious, with very nice coffee. The thing that stood out for me was that my friend dropped her fork and the waitress spotted that immediately and quickly appeared with a clean one. Great service, lovely food, love the decor too!

Good for a pleasant tea and coffee. The food is tasty, but I don't find it the most relaxing place to be. It's nice, but The Square in Holmer Green is better.

Enjoyed an incredible brie, bacon, onion marmalade toasted sour dough sandwich. Wow it was enormous and crammed full of deliciousness. So crispy on the outside and so oozy on the inside. Also delighted they had rooibos tea which was served in a lovely little pot. Other items on the menu all looked fabulous. If this was closer to me, I would be popping back again and again. Great little cafe.

Had a very nice scrambled egg on soda bread toast with very tasty bacon. Coffee was as good as ever.

I reviewed back in March 2016 and the Pantry has remained a regular haunt, far too often to mention! However, standards have dropped. The food isn't quite as good and the staff are no where near as friendly or helpful. The place has been renovated but they have still refused to add a baby changing fold down table in the toilet, despite tons of space and making a very very healthy income from the local new Mums. The smoothies were amazing but the blender broke and they didn't fix it for months (haven't asked again recently, may be back again now). The cakes remain incredible though!! Hoping for a return to former glory soon, as other places in the area have upped their game but a little further for us to travel to.

We come here quite regularly for brunch, and it is the best place to go. Such a varied menu, amazing coffees and great atmosphere... their brownies are also INSANE!! If you’re after a cosy local cafe, look no further, this is the best around!

We eventually found this place after driving round twice as the address & postcode on Trip Advisor are incorrect. Postcode should be HP15 7AA. So glad we persevered as we had an excellent breakfast with the best flat white I have had since Australia

I like this place, as it serves nice coffee, and usually I can be tempted to eat one of the lovely cakes. You can sit outside, which is great on a hot sunny day. Service is friendly, give it a go.

I’ve spent the morning sitting in this lovely cafe, reading the newspaper and enjoying a delicious breakfast for two hours. I watched as two ladies did the most fantastic job of welcoming and serving every visitor with a genuine and cheery disposition. What a refreshing change! I enjoyed watching this excellent team remind me what great hospitality is all about. The food was delicious but more importantly than that it’s the service with a smile that makes this place a great place to visit.

Went for lunch, one Vegan option for us which unfortunately was disappointing. It felt a bit as though they just put usual Vegan ingredients into a sandwich and toasted it! Ciabatta hard going on the jaw and contents dry.

Lovely breakfast. Not the cheapest but you will be served quality food. Great place for treating yourself to a special breakfast.

This is the best cafe in the area, by far, for coffee and light meals but WHY, despite continued requests, is there no baby changing facility in the large unisex toilet? There are mums with babies nearly every time I visit. Are we all expected to kneel on the toilet floor to change a nappy? COME ON, respect your customers or they won’t keep coming back!

Great Sunday brunch. Menu has unusual options as well as classics. Excellent food and coffee. The cakes looked amazing but we were too full! An afternoon visit will have to be made!

I have used the place once but regularly find it fully occupied. other places are just as good if not better but manage their seating a little better. Also some customers take over a whole table to do their work at it over a 'very long' coffee.

This is a great place to settle down with your laptop and get some work done, it can get noisy but that is part of the fun of agile working right! Great coffee and a beautiful breakfast that never disappoints.

Came for partner's 40th birthday breakfast with our two children. Had one of the best breakfasts we've had for a long time and will definitely return soon. Excellent value for money, absolutely delicious food and great service. Quesadilla and muffin recommended!

Went there on Saturday with my husband and daughter, She is a vegan and their choices are fantastic. Staff was very helpful when she ordered her dish but said she could not have any onions, so they offered her something very tasty not containing any onions and totally suitable for vegans. She also had a mocca which was totally vegan. I had a good look at their cakes and they all look very delicious. Will try some next time. I can highly recommend this place for the vegetarian and vegan choices as well as for us carnivores. the whole family was very impressed with the choices of dishes and helpful friendly staff.

really friendly staff and obliged my free coffee when I balanced a coin on a lemon (their game on the counter). Really lovely looking place- quite industrial with metals and woods. Lovely coffee and a really nice carrot beetroot and ginger smoothie. Yummy.

This is a smartly laid out cafe that I have been to a number of times but my visit last Monday was expensive and disappointing. My son and I ordered toasted sandwiches and his was burnt on one side and mine was soggy and fell apart. They were both very oily and pretty tasteless! Not what we expected at all! When paying I mentioned that we did not enjoy the sandwiches (having left half of them) and got an apology but no discount. A gesture of deducting one off the bill would have been appreciated. I am a big supporter of independent businesses and want them to flourish in our society of chains but quality and value are essential for customers to return. I wish it had been a more pleasant brunch.

This cafe is my brother’s local, and I’d had tea and cake here a couple of times, but this was the 1st time I’d tried one of their breakfasts.

Recently revamped with large sharing tables, this offers decent fare for people who like trying something a little different. Not the best, but by no means the worst. What they do, they do pretty well, and good service goes a long way.

As a regular of this cafe I thought I should give a review. The staff are friendly and attentive, cozy and personal. The coffee is the best ... my favourite a soy latte! Interesting tea choices too. Love the vegan selection of cakes and food. Vegan breakfast is a firm hit! Quality and tasty. So good to have a cafe that has more of these options in our area ... as a trip to London isn’t always an option!

I decided to take my wife out for lunch and the Pantry was close by and looked appealing. There is limited space but we were seated straight away and the place is clean , tidy and the staff are friendly. Great for a chat etc but not really for a business meeting. The reason I gave a 4 is lack of choice on food but what we did have was lovely.

I must say the quality of the coffee is exceptional with professional service that goes along with it. There is a rich variety of deliciously tasting snack items on the menu that surprisingly packs a unique and pleasant kick to the taste buds. Moreover, the place is kept very clean with a culturally diverse selection of ambient music tunes playing in the background. I would recommend this place to anyone who is tired of the same old coffee and croissant experience and would want to try something new.

Try the breakfast quesadilla, it tastes as good as it looks! Wide selection of cakes available also, some of which are gluten free. Delicious shakes also which are dairy free.

The Pantry is a great local cafe serving excellent coffee and various snacks and pastries during the day. Approximately once a month they put in a dinner evening around specific geographical authentic dishes, each of the evenings we have attended have been excellent.

I flipping love Pantry. It’s the best coffee for miles around - my only gripe is that they don’t open until 8:30am! They’re so friendly, and clearly love the art of coffee x keep it up dudes

Food was fantastic and both me and my wife. Unfortunately we had to ask for menus, sides never came with the meal and just a general lack of thought from the serving staff (no sugar or ketchup).... it is just the small attention to detail that makes this move from good to great

This is one of our favourite pop-in cafes, but it's getting more popular so getting a table at busy times is proving more difficult. It can be a bit noisy, so when full is not the place for a quiet coffee, but then again the noise is only people enjoying themselves! The coffee and tea are great as is breakfast and the cakes. With the redesign of the interior there seems to be a smaller choice of cakes on display, but what's available is still delicious. It's not the cheapest place, but you are paying for quality. I think it's worth the price.

I visited this place twice in one week as I loved the brunch so much! I am gluten free and the bread was much better the first time I went but they still had some available the second time. I had the avocado and eggs on toast which was great both times! The gluten free cakes are also really good! A hidden gem!

Visited today, earlier than usual, and we decided to try the breakfast offerings. Reasonable choice and everything that we saw go by looked very good. I kept it simple with a bacon roll with scrambled eggs - very tasty. However my wife went for the Vegan Breakfast and it was exceptional, loads of flavour: avocado on toast with seeds, hash browns, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and a ragu of sweet potato, red onion, black beans and spices; with everything finished off with fresh herbs. All this was accompanied down with good coffee and a pot of white peony tea.The service is not the quickest, but the freshly prepared food makes it well worth the wait.It really is a little gem and probably the best in the area - well worth making a visit.

I come here regularly for coffee and lunch and love it. It's the best cafe anywhere near High Wycombe and I'm a complete coffee snob.I thought I'd write a review as I recently asked them to make cakes for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary based on a couple of ideas we had. The cakes they made were not only stunning but also tasted delicious and were even better than we could have hoped for.

We have been here many times before, the food is always good. Mushrooms on toast is very yummy. The kids were a bit disappointed the couldn't have beans on toast lol but got over it. Very clean, lovely atmosphere and good food and drinks. Would recommend.

We found the Pantry on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. This gem is tucked away in Hazelmere, the food, interior and staff ticked all the right boxes. I ordered the Mexican Quesadilla and when it arrived I couldn't wait to tuck in. Fresh from the kitchen, with ample amount of avocado to taste. We have a feeling that this is going to be a weekly regular visit for us. I would recommend this to anyone in the area.

I visited the Pantry as a participant in a private event. I'm not local to High Wycombe, and had never visited before. If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely stop in! The staff were friendly (welcoming us even when we arrived a little early!) and set a wonderful tone for the evening. The food was excellent with generous portions and some unusual combinations that really got some of us chatting! And the coffee was excellent. All in all, top-notch value for money and definitely recommended.

'The pantry' catered for my twin daughters' 21st birthday party. To be honest I am fussy. I wanted an upmarket spread and I certainly got it. I requested a mixture of meat and vegan options for 60 people. All our needs were catered for. The food was outstanding. The cauliflower flatbreads were to die for. The pulled pork sliders were sublime. Prawn noodle salad pots amazing and smoked mackerel scotch eggs utterly gorgeous. Vegan coconut and chocolate pots were pure heaven. Even a raw raspberry birthday cake was stunning. Thank you Charles and friends for helping to make the evening so very special!!

I always pop to The Pantry for a cheeky gluten free cake. They usually have at least 2 cake options, and they are always really tasty.

The pantry, Wow. My hand crafted latte was exquisite, pure and tangible joy from first sip to last. My sandwich was well priced and very obviously made lovingly by fair hands, with the finest produce available. The setting is to die for, an emporium of modernity and slick styling cue's, not wasted on me were the subtle conversations between the of shabby chic painted chairs and the minimal horizons of white tiles. Just Wow ! Lastly the slight flicker of the lights really did bring the romance and intimacy of candle light into my experience.I absolutely can not wait to return and bring all my friends.

We've been coming here for at least a couple of years, and the most impressive part about it is its consistency. Consistently excellent coffee, consistently interesting specials, consistently high quality ingredients (gorgeous bread, lovely bacon!) and consistently great service. The place is so great that when my wife and I are both at home during the holidays, our dog literally whines from the moment he wakes up until we take him to the Pantry. He loves sitting outside with us, watching the world go by and being fed tasty bacon!Can not recommend this place highly enough!

Very high class full English. All food is to a high standard of quality and isn't your standard greasy spoon. Monmouth coffee aswel, perfect. Is very small though so don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table

I reviewed this lovely day-time restaurant before but not for breakfast. Waiting for my script at the pharmacy next door, I decided to spoil myself with breakfast. Started with a lovely smooth white Americano followed by: Avo on toast with two soft eggs on sourdough bread with a slice of crispy bacon on the side - heaven! I resisted cake at 9 am, but look a picture to help those of you reading the review to see the veriety.

Found this place through Tripadvisor and decided to make this our coffee and brunch stop en route to Hughenden Manor. Coffee great. Food looked absolutely outstanding as it came from the kitchen... Slowly. Really slowly... To wait almost 40 minutes for egg on toast is just ridiculous! It was, however, the BEST scrambled eggs we've ever eaten...! The systems here are in serious need of an overhaul- get the waitresses to take orders at the tables to stop the customer queues at the counter ordering and then a second time to pay, when the waitresses are trying to reach the coffees through the queues. Madness! Not to mention inconvenient for the customer... And get a second person to help cook (the fairly limited but wonderful menu) in the kitchen!

Took a London friend (known for her love of good food) here for a quick lunch. Limited lunch menu but we shared a salad and a flatbread. Mm. Great flavours, nothing left on the plate, indeed had to fight off my friend who was eating more speedily than I was. Regrettably we were unable to manage to fit in one of the delicious cakes, but did enjoy our coffee.Reasonable price too.

I popped in for lunch with my friend.They had the beef sandwich which was (as I greedily tasted myself) very delicious. I had avocado on toast which disappointingly had little flavour, leaving me underwhelmed. Overall the staff were friendly; I'd go back again to try other sandwiches on the menu and have a cup of tea.

Popped in for a coffee. However the Cappuccino was poor, no froth what so ever. More worrying was was I sat and drank my coffee i watched the young lady behind the counter wiping/drying cups with a cloth that looked like it had been used to clean the floor. From here on in I will get my coffee at the Pop in a few doors down

Visited this place after looking for a local cafe for late brunch. And what a great place to find! Great decor, stylish and minimal canteen style, very clean and well thought out layout.Really good loose tea in proper tea pots. Small but refined menu for breakfast and lunch. We ordered from the lunch menu as breakfast/brunch stops at 12 on a weekday (til 3pm weekends). Exceeded our expectations as the quality was spot on and the sandwich fillings were generous. Sadly I did not have room to try any of the gorgeous looking cakes! Will definately be back to try breakfast in the near future.

One of regular and favourite haunts. A small selection of freshly cooked and extremely tasty breakfast and lunch options. No muffin my favourite.... Bacon, sausage meat, BBQ sauce. It's unbelievable! Avocado chilli lime on toast another favourite. The leaf teas are great and served in Japanese style cast iron pots... which we quickly went and bought our own after our first visit. Try the cake selection too! Cool decor, great service, reasonable price... What's not to love?

I loved the feel and atmosphere of this café, reminiscent of the many trendy cafés in central London but tucked away in Hazelmere! I'm a bit of a coffee buff, so finding out they also sell bags of Monmouth coffee beans was a revelation! I'll definitely be going back to buy a bag.The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars was that i felt the food was a little bit pricy but it was delicious and they have a great selection of cakes to have with your brew! I'll be telling everyone about this place.

Quite simply the classiest place in the surrounding area to go for a breakfast, light lunch or just a cake n coffee. If you're looking for Costa Coffee style coffee/barista's you'll be disappointed. It appears the owner has scooped up a little piece of the St. John's Wood/Camden Town coffee shop scene & plonked it in the Parade at Hazlemere. Attentive staff, classy minimalistic fit out with top notch food & in my opinion the best brewed coffee in Bucks. Go check it out.

Went for breakfast yesterday. My wife and I both had the bacon sandwich, they were excellent. My wife also had a hand made fruit juice . She loved it . Keep up the great work Charles an co.

Park parade shops is not exactly the sort of place that exudes style and quality but this little deli really is outstanding. The staff are really polite and friendly and someone who clearly knows what they are doing has put a decent amount of thought into the décor. Then there's the food; its simple café fare but flawlessly executed, the highlight being their chocolate brownie which is without a doubt the best I've ever had. Thoroughly recommend going here before everyone works out how good this place is and they start having to take bookings months in advance

The minimal outside of The Pantry is a bit subtle maybe as it doesn't stand out from the parade. On the one hand i think this is a bit of a miss but on the other hand its something that I find pretty classy and smart.Inside the cafe the simplicity continues. A welcoming counter with a (too) tempting selection of cakes as well as a small but varied menu.First of all, coffee, its a cafe it should do good coffee. And it does. Which is a big tick in the box.The menu is made up of 3 or 4 specials and then a nice collection of sandwiches etc. Plenty of choice for meat eaters or veggies.I chose the tacos which was an unusual thing to find in a cafe I thought but were great and really fresh tasting. My wife choose a very decent sized smoked salmon bagel. We were both pleased our choices.The place was constantly busy but due to the menu and speed of service there was a constant flow of people and everyone seemed to get seated fine.All in all a really nice experience and one we will return to. Next time I will get save room for cake.

I often pop into this lovely local restaurant for breakfast, lunch or just coffee and cake. They use fresh quality ingredients with a few quirky items on the small menu. I love the lemon slice pan style cake.

We visited mid week, late morning for brunch. Parking wasn't easy, but it never is at the Parade! The Pantry was fairly busy given the time of day. We were greeted instantly by a smiley waitress and we sat at one of the only empty tables, flea let recently vacated. Our waitress rushed to clear the table, although did forget to wipe down... But having a toddler, a baby wipe sufficed! We orders quickly, opting for an Americano, latte, kids apple juice, large breakfast (I can't remember what it was specifically called), mushrooms on toast and toast for the little one. The waitress asked if we wanted one or two pieces of toast for the toddler, which I thought was a nice thought.Our drinks were ordered quickly, the kids Apple juice was pure, freshly pressed juice & was delicious. Our coffees were a little odd... Slightly bitter. I have had coffee here before and it was lovely, so maybe the coffee machine was having an off day!Our breakfasts were served, and were hit and delicious. Not enormous portions, but full of flavour, so perfectly adequate. We both throughly enjoyed our meals. Our waitress checked on us & later cleared our table & brought us the bill. Not a cheap breakfast, but worth it. Fresh ingredients, well considered flavours and great staff. Both myself and my partner work within the hospitality industry & were very impressed. We shall return.

Busy venue for midweek brunch with clientele consisting business chats and ladies that lunch. Food is absolutely first rate but quite expensive. Will definitely eat there again but will opt for nearby cafe if looking for a cheap substantial breakfast. One major criticism; whose idea was it to serve a cooked breakfast in a curved bowl?

Enjoyed a great meal with my young son. Brunch muffin was delicious. Coffee also top notch. Friendly service. Child friendly.

Great place to come and enjoy tasty homemade food. There's a great variety and the cakes always look and taste fab. Staff are really friendly and there is always a nice atmosphere.

Everything about this place is lovely, from the staff to the food to the drink. Particularly the staff; who are friendly without being overpowering or in your face, there's an endearing personal approach to them. I highly rate Pantry and will most certainly be back.

The pantry is my new favourite place to visit. the coffee is out of this world and when you watch them make it you realise that they really have a passion for high quality artisan coffee. The shop itself has a minimalist feels and from the few times I've visited it seems to be packed all day long. We tried their special "mo muffin" and I highly recommend it. You have to try the pantry you won't regret it.

Set amongst a parade of everyday shops is this high quality café which is a real delight. It is run by a team of young people who always seems to have a smile on their faces and the level of the cakes and snacks is first class. I once asked where they purchased their cakes to be told that everything was home made which surprised me as they look and taste so fabulous. This is in marked contrast to a 'greasy spoon' type establishment a couple of doors away which is what I would have imagined to be the more appropriate eatery. Thankfully not and long may the Pantry continue.

I was taken here by my wife who was raving about the place as she says she goes regularly with her lady friends at lunch times. I was impressed by the quality of the food if not a little dissapointed with the variety (or lack of it). was a nice change to a greasy spoon for lunch as this was a bit more up market and the price reflects this

This is a a popular place for coffee or a snack lunch. I have been here a few times, and it is always busy.
