Came here for bottomless brunch on a Saturday and had the best time. All the staff were so so lovely. The food and drinks were delicious and the music was fab. We were never without a drink, which for a Saturday is amazing, as soon as we’d had half our drink we were asked what we’d like next. Will definitely be back again!! 🍹🍾✨

Never felt so welcomed in a cocktail bar before!🤩 their pornstars where seriously so delicious and fresh and the staff was incredibly sweet! I would 1000% recommend this places if you’re out and about🥰

down from Glasgow Place has a lovely vibe and looks great, staff are very welcoming and friendly. One of the few places who can actually make cocktails that taste nice and not overpower the drink with another ingredient. Pricing is great, got two cocktails for £12. Excellent, will hopefully be back some point in the future 😊

Me and my partner stopped here for a few drinks after a meal up the street, the cocktails were so yummy, great atmosphere and music and the staff were sooo friendly and attentive!! Especially the lady with the space buns and cat glasses she was so cool and helpful. Seemed to love her job which is rare now days! Definitely recommend coming here for a few drinks and a laugh. We had plans to go Liverpool but our plans changed last minute. Plam was able to accommodate our party of six last minute. We had the Bottomless brunch and it didn't disappoint. The food was lovely and the drinks were flowing. The staff were friendly and very quick with the drink orders. Overall a great experience. Thank- you team Palm for accommodating us at such short notice.

FIrst time visit today for me and my 6 yr old daughter, she was made up. The staff were brilliant and so friendly with her, and the food was great. I had the bacon, chilli scrambled egg and she had American waffles. she loved the fact that her food was pink. thank you for a lovely meal and smiley, welcoming atmosphere. xxx

Me and my boyfriend have been here many times, it’s a lovely place to go for great quality cocktails. The staff are very nice all the time, often you are greeted as you come in and are sat. On a busy Friday me and my boyfriend were waiting longer than usual to receive our drinks so we were given a free one each! There are often offers on and you can mix and match 2 cocktails for £12.95. The cocktails are absolutely amazing and I really do recommend this place. I think the only thing that could be improved are the toilets but it’s hardly a problem at all! I would definitely recommend this place and always go here when i’m in chester.

Watery cocktails, too much ice, warm beer. Food just about passes muster but once you see where the food comes from and where it’s hanging around waiting for a server to collect to take to the table, being breathed upon by women waiting to use the toilets adjacent to the food hatch, you might want to reconsider eating there

Fantastic independent Bar in Chester City Centre. Fantastic service from the moment stepped in were greeted with a friendly smile and cocktail menu was explained by knowledgeable staff. Can order off menu and will make any cocktail you request even better that were two for £12.95 all day Friday! Special mention to the front of house greeter knowledge on cocktails was excellent and could see his enthusiasm for his job. Thanks for a great evening!!

Very nice bar, music wasn't too loud and you could comfortably have a conversation. Drinks actually tasted nice rather than just pure alcohol and the staff were lovely. They are slightly expensive but for the quality you get, it's worth it!

16 of us came for a hun do. Really really disappointed with the food. Quality and presentation were really poor, chips were crispy and overdone, chicken on club sandwich was chewie and barely even anything on the sandwich. Pleased dont call it a club sandwich if it’s not a CLUB sandwich! Staff were great, fast and friendly and worked well with your fast turnover. Did not even taste the alcohol in my cocktails. Glasses overfilled with ice. Disappointed that not presented as cocktails. Alcohol free drinks were better presented as cocktails. Very disappointed - if it wasn’t for staff would have not even scored you. I felt ripped off!!

Went here for mother's day afternoon tea and it was quite disappointing. Positives were that you get hot chocolate as an alternative to tea and coffee and kids can have unlimited mocktails. The kids food was nice and they enjoyed the marshmallows but at £16 pretty expensive. The adult food was disappointing, two tiny open sandwiches on toasted bread so the filling fell off when we picked them up, a feta and watermelon salad which was mainly wilted lettuce with a couple of tiny chunks of feta and watermelon. The smallest scones I've ever seen at afternoon tea. Service was slow and lacking such as not being given cutlery and overall cost £90 for 2 adults and 2 kids, I have had far better ones elsewhere. Been for bottomless brunch here and it was great and really good value so was looking forward to afternoon tea but wouldn't recommend at all.

We came here for afternoon tea on Mother’s Day and had a great time. The food was lovely, with some great open sandwiches and desserts that were really tasty. My wife and kids loved it! We’ve been here before but this was the first time for afternoon tea and will definitely be back! All in all a great meal out!

I’d booked afternoon tea in advance and was looking forward to it, sadly the service let it down When we arrived we were told it was bottomless tea, coffee, iced coffee and hot chocolate - this sadly doesn’t include a latte just cafitiere coffee The decor is stunning - I’ve been to Palm a few times before and always loved it The service I felt let it down - we didn’t feel looked after. We requested water with our drinks but this didn’t arrive so had to ask again. We asked for forks to eat the food with and were only brought 2 - there was 3 of us! I’d booked 1 vegetarian afternoon tea but nothing was brought that was vegetarian - we didn’t have a staff member come past for a while so just got on with it. Scones are brought out on request so they’re warm which is nice. They were plain and I think shop bought - very crumbly. Again, when they were brought out we had to request knives for them. Not the best. The food was nice and different - but for £30pp this didn’t feel special or exciting. The service didn’t feel special - Palm I always felt the staff made an effort and looked after, on this occasion I didn’t and just felt the staff weren’t bothered. Big shame as it was a special occasion. Unlikely to return

Very cute bar, bar staff were really good fun and helpful with picking drinks and even willing to make one up seeing as it was quiet. The Pina colada was really tasty too! 50% off food and drinks for students was also a really good deal!

I was coming down from Scotland for the weekend and meeting my mom in Chester for a girls weekend together. I wanted to take her somewhere delicious but also with cool vibes. I must have researched at least 100 restaurants the week before but Palm stood out as aesthetically being great but also having yummy menu choices. I was SO pleased with my pick! The service couldn't have been better and all the staff so friendly and lovely - I'm a professional baker so usually afternoon teas always fall down on the sweet section for me but all the bakes were amazing - that chocolate ganache meringue tart was delicious! and the unlimited hot chocs also went down great since we don't drink tea or coffee. I would really recommend for anywhere wanting to go somewhere a bit special!

What a wonderful find! In Chester for the day, with my daughter, looked at most of the places to eat for lunch and decided on Palm as it was the prettiest place we’d seen and the menu looked good too! Had a cocktail to start with was gorgeous, so many to choose we had to try another on and wasn’t disappointed! But the food! We had chicken skewers, chicken and waffles and sides they were absolutely amazing the tastiest food we’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be visiting there again next time we are in Chester. The couple who own it were just delightful super friendly and only happy to help. Would highly recommend 🩷

Amazing cocktails and service with a lovely quirky atmosphere

We came here just for drinks but an absolutely perfect atmosphere. Music was blearing just the right songs, good choice of drinks and good prices. Good fun, and a great colour scheme.

Popped on here for a few cocktails in the afternoon. Reasonably priced and each had a generous amount of ingredients. We didn't have any food so cannot comment on that, but the drinks were really good!

Arrived in Chester on one of the busiest weekends and every were was packed for lunch. This place was fantastic. We had no table reservations and thought we would chance it. The place was packed except for 1 small table, there were 5 of us but the guy was so helpful, he seated us on the table and came with another table a soon as one was available. It’s pink palace inside. The cocktails arrived quickly and so did our lunch, the food was really good along with the service, even the mayo was pink. Thank you so much for accommodating us and going above and beyond. Great place, great food, great vibe and most of all fantastic staff.

Very inconsiderate regarding a deposit we put down for a booking. Emailed them 30 Hours prior to the booking to inform them 2/3 of us were ill and they refused to move out deposit over to another date and said they needed 72 hours notice. Was not expecting a refund just to move the booking. Very inconsiderate and harsh

Servers were friendly and split the bill well. Cocktails were nice however shots were a bit disappointing.

James, Spike and Aaron were absolutely fabulous on the bar. Such a busy night, but made sure our drinks were full and shots were constant. With smashed glasses and thrown ice, it was such a vibe at the bar. The Cherry liqueur shots and caramel shot (off menu) were amazing. Couldn’t recommend enough!!! Toilets had no running water, smelled weird and not very clean

The restaurant is so cute and decorated lovely! It’s such a nice atmosphere to be in. The two male waiters we had today were very friendly, attentive and welcoming. The cocktails were presented very nicely and tasted great (huge range of cocktails to choose from too). The food was also really tasty and good sized portions. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely lovely vibe here. Visited for bottomless brunch with 2 friends as part of my birthday celebrations. Staff were so friendly, welcoming and attentive. They kept on top of our bottomless drinks, none of us ever had an empty glass in front of us and they accommodated for our pregnant friend with a wide range of mocktails. Great value for money and a lovely birthday message written for me on the bill too. We will definitely be back!

My Husband treated me to a fantastic champagne afternoon tea at PALM, as soon as we entered a lovely young lady took us to our seat's. Nothing was too much trouble & she took the time to explain what we were having, the food was scrumptious & beautifully presented. Two hours passed very quickly & I was made to feel important on my special day, such a different & beautiful experience that I can definitely recommend if you want something a bit quirky. We will definitely be back for more, thanks for everything ❤️

Short story, my daughter was completing the Halloween hunt and they had ran out of sweets. Being incredibly kind they went above and beyond to provide a small treat to my 5yo. She was over the moon and hasn’t stopped talking about, all the other sites on the hunt pale in comparison :D The staff are genuinely lovely, great menu and great taste.

Brilliant pink cafe - we had lovely flatbreads and the cocktails were amazing. The staff were very attentive and kept checking on us. I would say book a table here as it gets very busy.

Great afternoon for a bottomless brunch! All staff very attentive service was great. Had the pleasure of meeting the manager he listened to us and changed glasses our drinks were served in I.e. too much ice tall flute glass rather than tumbler- he explained that people have stolen their good glasses!! But he gave us what we asked for. I give total admiration for people in hospitality they have to manage so many situations to keep everyone happy. Our table was 10 mins late because of late arrivals before us no problem for us but it seemed the next people after us weren't so understanding! So unfair when you have demanding people in an unfair situation - this was also a race day! So if anyone puts a negative review on this date about that then I ask people to ignore it! We were accommodating for the manager because of the excellent service given! Food great drinks great would certainly recommend! Keep doing what you're doing!

The Catherine wheel cocktail was a let down.They wanted me to pay for the drink before it even arrived at the table (they forgot about me and my drink). So I obviously refused, the waitress came back with my drink and the candyfloss had melted (see pic). I refused it, pointed at the menu with the description of the drink and picture attached. She came back with a straw and some candyfloss on top. At this point I gave up on trying to explain how awful it was. So I just expressed my disappointment with my face. I wouldn't care if this wetherspoons and I paid £3.50 for it but this was a £9.20 ish cocktail, in a bar that is all about the bloody aesthetic. Not very instagram friendly for a bar that is clearly aiming for that vibe.... 🙄

Absolutely wonderful venue. All my family love this place. The staff ( especially Leo) are just wonderful, the drinks are tasty and creative and the food is simply delicious. Can not wait until our next trip back there with the grandchildren.

This is a good place for a bottomless brunch. We were here for a hen party and were unfortunately spread over two tables, which was a shame - it looked as though the place had been overbooked. The service was good and the staff make sure you have plenty of drinks to keep you going. The food was okay, although the chicken I had was pretty dry.

Been there a couple times with girlfriends. Cocktails menu is quite extensive, but beware of the glass filled with mostly ice rather than cocktail, also food could have been better, very uninspiring.

I loved going to Palm it was beautiful the two male bar tenders were absolutely amazing professional and welcoming and full of joy when I visit Chester again I will be returning for 12 more cocktails! Spike and Jack were lovely bar tenders very attentive and always there to make any drink we wanted! (even off menu!) spike also does a whole host of accents which was a nice touch!!! will definitely return!!

After the typical British summer weather dampened our walk around Chester, we sought refuge in a very unusually decorative bar in the city. Draped in flowers of pastel and a very pink interior, it is a refreshing change of scenery compared to the usual modern rustic venues. We were warmly greeted and then shown to a booth and given an extensive cocktail menu. I have to say the cocktails were excellent and incredibly flavoursome. I thoroughly recommend Palm Cocktail Bar.

Went for bottomless brunch at 12:30 on a Wednesday. Definitely worth the money. A pastry to start and then drinks. Drinks were all very nice. We had about 9 cocktails each in 1hr 45 min timeslot. This is mainly due to the random time we were here. Josh was brilliant as a server and constantly asked if we wanted more drinks. The food was also brilliant. Would definitely come again, maybe when it's a bit busier.

Went for my Hen Party Saturday. Was split between 2 booths. Seemed like it was money greed with them. Instead of catering for what groups they had coming in and making sure groups could sit together. It’s simple don’t book too many large groups in when the building is only small. The Waitress kept putting a full drinks tray in between the booths, wasn’t bothered in if they had fell on the guest. Food was horrid. I took one bite of my waffle and didn’t even finish it. Other people didn’t enjoy their food too. When we were ordering only 2 or 3 of the drinks we had asked for were arriving at the table. We were kept having to ask them where the drinks were all the time. Then to top it off they gave us the bill and hadn’t deducted the deposit off so they would have been £50 up if we hadn’t noticed. It wasn’t a nice vibe. I wouldn’t recommend going here for a hen party or any other occasion.

I visited palm expecting great things as seen on their social media. This is not the case at all and I would definitely recommend going somewhere else. The drinks were watered down and tasted awful. The food was poor and the experience overall was just horrible. We were moved half way through our bottomless brunch because they overbooked, after that we weren’t served at all. We had to ask 3 times for our desert shot after paying for the bill. It’s very small and very overbooked. Again, don’t waste your time spending your money there.

I visited palm last month the bottomless brunch is definitely not worth the money the drink are just about bearable the service when waiting for the bill was shocking after asking multiple people staff members we finally received the bill but didn’t receive the shot as mentioned on the brunch menu.
