Always popular with motorists on two or four wheels. You will most likely be greeted by Ian. Ian knows everyone, and everyone knows Ian! Everyone has nice things to say about Ian. Ian's hard working team create a welcoming cosy oasis of witty banter with a mouth watering menu of delicious locally sourced ingredients.

We were there 10am on Sunday to gather bikes from two clubs for a 'charity ride', raising money for Epilepsy Action Wales. We were only 12 bikes but, within half an hour the place was full of bikes and even a car club had arrived for breakfast. The very large parking area was full and the staff were working flat out to get food ready.

Cafe at No 4

28/10/2019: The last time we called here they did not have a license, but they do now
03/09/2019: We saw the listing for Cafe at No 4 on TA and, frankly, skipped over it but walking around town we came across it, looked at the menu and booked it. This is not a cafe: it is a delightfully designed serious restaurant. Why the faux modest name?

The Ferryman

19/10/2019: We had soup which came in a large bowl and lots of bread. Ample for a snack. The cake looked great and the shop stocked cheeses etc.
24/08/2019: If you are looking for somewhere a bit different to eat in Laugharne, head for the Ferryman. It's a small cafe with a deli "out the back". Tom is clearly the main man (on the evidence of our visit and the regular name checks in other reviews).
