Ounce Bar & Kitchen in Worcester

I took my family to ounce on Wednesday, What a wonderful meal we had, Service and food was excellent, all our 8 meals were cooked to perfection, We look forward to going back again very soon

We were looking forward to a Sunday roast at Ounce after hearing about it and reading their reviews. We love good food and eagerly ordered. The rump for me medium rare and braised beef for my husband. It looked amazing...but the taste did not match the look. The rump was an amazing piece of meat but oh my goodness it was overloaded with seasoning, as was the beautifully cooked veg. Then there was the gravy. Again overloaded with flavours that clashed. Far too much garlic on the roast potatoes, I am a lover of garlic roasts but there is a limit! My husband's braised beef looked amazing...but the taste was very different. It had a strong taste of aniseed. I had a taste and had to spit it out!! We told our server who mentioned it to the chef. His response was that it was tarragon! I know my herbs, tarragon may have been a part of it but the aniseed was overwhelming. It was such a disappointment. We wanted to rave about it as the meals looked amazing, looks aren't always what they appear. The servers were great, friendly but we had the feeling our server didn't believe us. I was going to bring my last two s strips of beef back with us for the dogs but thought it might upset their stomachs. It certainly upset ours. We were asking "would we go back for a steak?". No I'd rather give the £78 ( bottle of wine and two mains) to a charity.

Brilliant night,food was superb, the Kofta starters were wonderful, full of taste, and for a main we went for the chateaubriand, absolutely fantastic. The place was rammed when we got there,and there was a great atmosphere about the place, staff were also very friendly. Parking was a bit of an issue, but we did manage to get on street parking, just a short walk away. It is a little pricey,but as a treat you would be hard pushed to beat it.

First visit with family, had the beef Sunday lunch and butchers board, chef Ted did an absolutely amazing job the beef melted in the mouth Yorkshires to die for and cauliflower cheese to remember, the young waitress was very attentive and friendly overall lovely visit, venue, and atmosphere, will definitely be back 😋

Our second visit here, and not great. Being seated by the bar isn’t great. Too much passing traffic. Service was a bit meh. Basically could have ordered through an app, for the same service. Drinks weren’t great, lots of standard lagers, but no keg ales. The only ale was a black-tapped cask - doubt they have enough throughout to service good quality cask, so avoided that. Instead went for the £7 supermarket wine… for £25 a bottle. Steaks were average. Large - as we had paid for - but with “something” pooled on top - too much butter? Not nice. More I think, this wasn’t a 4* visit. This was average at best.

The food and the place is great. The beef was cooked beautifully. Service was good but let down by the dark haired waitress with glasses who served us, she just looked and sounded like she didn’t want to be there & just shoved the pudding menu in front of us without saying anything.

First time visit having seen several recommendations. Very nicely decorated premises, comfortable tables. We shared some warm bread and olives which were a nice appetizer, and shared the Scollap and chorizo starter. I was impressed. For the mains we both had the Lunchtime Special 6oz fillet which comes with fries, mushrooms and salad. We also shared some extra garlic mushrooms. The steak was kelt in the mouth and had excellent flavour. I'm struggling to remember the last time I had something as good in the last few years. We accompanied the meal with a nice Temperanillo. No room for dessert. Good service to boot. I will be back soon.

My daughter and partner have eaten at Ounce many times and wanted to treat us. What a lovely treat it was! Friendly welcome on arrival. Relaxed vibe with quirky, cosy interior. Efficient and friendly serving and bar staff. Didn’t have starters as wanted to leave room for desserts. Perfectly cooked steaks all round. I’m fussy with steak but can honestly say one of the best I’ve eaten. Beautifully presented and scrumptious desserts. A very pleasant dining experience and would highly recommend.

Great Sunday lunch, we thought it was slightly over priced,a great steak, cosey atmosphere, bar and waiting staff not very alert.

This is the third time that we have visited the restaurant, as always the steaks are cooked to perfection, all three of us said they were as good as you will ever find. The started was rather sparse but delicious. The service was good the real ale would have been better if they had done a porter or mild. The price is quite expensive but you get what you pay for. All in all very good

We had a family meal to celebrate my wife's birthday, the food and service were great. My criticism is I'm coeliac and whilst ordering my meal I was told they don't stock gluten free bread or crackers , but did cater for vegetarians and vegans which are lifestyle choices not a medical condition like coeliac disease. I had to eat my starter without bread and couldn't have the cheese board because they had no crackers. These days both are readily available in most supermarkets but they couldn't be bothered to stock them. Very disappointed.

This is purely a personal preference but, I wasn't too happy about a largish dog standing at the next table. Dogs in a pub garden are fine but I don't think it appropriate in a restaurant that is small with tables close together,

Came here after so many recommendations and it didn’t disappoint. Lunchtime on a Saturday, glass of wine and shared the chateaubriand, cooked to perfection and highly recommend the Cauli cheese! Can’t wait to come back!

Disappointed. We wanted rib eye but only one left. Steaks over cooked came well done not rare Steak ok but not great quality meat. Staff less than helpful meal was rushed All in over priced relative to quality of food and service

We managed to get a last meal in before lock down and it was great, lovely steaks, great atmosphere, friendly staff and great value, especially Tuesday and Wednesday -£1 an ounceCannot wait until they open again, but will no doubt use the takeaway nights they do during lockdown.

A second great meal at Ounce on 30th December. Me and my girlfriend were served by Lauren, who was excellent all evening. I had a 14oz Butchers cut (£1 per oz!!) which was divinely tender and wonderfully cooked. My partner equally enjoyed her meal. I can't recommend this place enough.

Another fantastic meal at ounce last night - so glad we had booked a table given another bloody lockdown has arrived. The food is always perfect and the staff are so lovely. But PLEASE bring back the blue cheese crumble. Also maybe a possibility of a non alcoholic drinks list if at all possible :) (maybe a nonsecco for us preggos?) Cant wait for our next visit as soon as you reopen! Stay safe guys!

We’ve eaten in the best steakhouses in NYWe’ve eaten Wagyu in Australia We’ve tried the best London has to offerBut... but little old Worcester has a restaurant that tops them all, no joke.I can’t comment on all the steaks but the tomahawk special me and the wife shared last night was out of this world.Cooked to utter perfection, melt in the mouth tender, flavour bursts those taste buds into over-drive!! I didn’t have a desert, I was stuffed, but the trouble and strife loved her chocolate brownie.Staff were great, especially the guy with the glasses(sorry I didn’t get your name if you read this)The fork handles red wine is bostin, must try if you like a red, they also gave us a cocktail each as it was our anniversary, lovely touch.100% will be back

Date night tonight for us and we chose to go back to Ounce Bar & Kitchen after we last visited with friends a couple of years ago. We both had the Ribeye with the peppercorn and cognac sauce. Delicious and cooked to perfection! Have decided we need to come back more frequently. Friendly, efficient service and staff just made it the perfect evening ! Thank you.

We went for the £1 an ounce special on a Tuesday evening and were delighted by the quality. The steak was perfectly cooked. Good choice of sides. Only negative was that it was VERY warm.

Came down from Chesterfield to visit a friend, fancied steak. Was recommended Ounce. Was highly delighted. Steak was cooked to perfection. As a chef myself it is really easy to critises others food but the steak was absolutely amazing. Top class at a very reasonable price. Excellent service and a nice setting. Well done. Will definitely recommend and return. Thank you all. Really made my day.

Superb steaks, atmosphere and value, during covid unlock we have been regular visitors and have visited at least 5 times with family and friends and each time have nothing less than superb steaks in a great atmosphere and at great value. I cannot wait to December to visit again.

We visited during the week to benefit from the £1 per pound as we never visited before and we heard a lot of good things about it.We ordered the butchers choice and it came as ordered in term of type of cooking and perfectly seasoned. The chips were really nice too. We ordered the black garlic butter which was nice but nothing special really.The service was attentive and not over the top and the COVID restrictions were clear and well respected.Overall, a great evening

Had a fantastic lunch here today to celebrate my sons 18th birthday. Food fantastic staff very attentive, but not over the top . Had an issue with my Son's steak. It was dealt with efficiently and as it was his birthday the chef bought him a drink to apologise. Cant say fairer than that. Lovely place for a celebration. Thank you x

After our last visit I said we would return and we did. We came for Sunday lunch and WOW.....what can I say!! Absolutely awesome, the beef was superb and the gravy...oh yes the gravy. When you order a sticky toffee pudding dessert to share and the server says 'I wouldn't share that' you just know it's going to be good.....and it was, and she was right!! Already booked in for the next occasions.

Best restaurant in Worcestershire!! My favourite restaurant...food is amazing, staff are even better... can not fault!! Will visit time and time again that’s all I will say! Thank you

Me and my partner booked for 6pm but arrived 25 mins earlier and this was no problem at all, we were seated and had our drinks order taken within 10 minutes. The service was flawless and as they were fully booked we were very looked after by our waiter and the restaurant manager. Our starters and mains were very quick to come out considering how busy they were, the food is absolutely outstanding and would love to eat here again. I can’t thank the restaurant manager and our waiter enough for their kindness and attentiveness. 10/10 would eat here again and would recommend to anyone. Beats any Miller and Carter steak by 10 miles !!

I have been to Ounce about 12 times now, and the steak is the best. Nice atmosphere and staff are friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you are a steak lover.

Having seen the reviews and heard word of mouth decided to try this place........all I can say is it's all true. Ounce is awesome.. the steaks are to die for, the service is brill. We will be back!!

We tried here on the Eat out to help out scheme after someone recommended it.So glad we managed to get in what a fantastic time we had. The service was fantastic and the steak is the best I have had in this country. The kids had burgers and I have never had a better burger than what they were served. I cannot wait to return it really was a wonderful experience.

My friend and I ate lunchtime with friendly staff and safe surroundings in this time of covid. My steak was perfectly cooked as usual at this restaurant served with fries, a tasty peppercorn and cognac sauce and side salad excellent meal

Stopped for lunch Thursdays around 15:00We had for a starter baked camembert, to be honest wasn’t anything special the bread let’s it down as it seemed to be frozen and baked for that price of £11 starter I’ll had expect better quality bread. Like a good rye bread. For our mains we went for the lunch menu steaks 6oz fillet £15 and 2 x 6oz rump steaks £8 each. I had the rump excellent. My wife had the fillet, the fillet wasn’t great seemed to be more like a fillet tail then a filet. Was dry on the outside and wasn’t medium rare but medium she said, however she finished her plate. We had 1 ale, coffee and a peppercorn sauce we paid around £51.00Great staff friendly and attentive. Place looked clean

We go to Ounce often for a midweek lunch but haven't been for a Sunday lunch for a while,we was'nt disappointed.The owners are a lovely friendly couple and staff are very efficient, we both ordered the Beef dinner the beef melted in the mouth good selection of fresh veg and a fantastic big homemade Yorkshire pudding.We had a treat and ordered the sticky toffee pudding which is so light and moist,you can tell the Chef really knows his trade.this place is a Gem

Visited Ounce as part of the government scheme and it also coincided with their £1 an ounce offer on a Tuesday too. Had the most amazing rib eye steak, cooked to perfection with "butchers jus" on the side. The missus had a rump and loved hers just as much. She opted for the peppercorn sauce which she claimed was better than the jus but she is totally and completely wrong (although it was still delicious to be fair to her).Now, the steak was amazing in itself, but that jus was an other worldly experience. I don't tend to eat huge portions generally but there was nothing left on that plate and I had to seriously have a word with myself not to down the rest of the sauce like a teenage girl necking shots of Apple Sourz in a Wetherspoons past 11pm. Staff were all lovely and service was top notch.We will for sure be returning, probably with a thermos to take home that sweet sweet jus. Thanks Ounce.

As our first meal out together post lock down, my wife and I were not disappointed. We received attentive prompt and friendly service from all that were working. The food was more than excellent, we may have had to share a pudding just to squeeze a third course in.Also to note appeared to be following COVID-19 guidelines which was nice for piece of mind.

Booked a Tuesday 3.30pm lunchtime slot via the online system on the Monday morning. Pleased to find a slot was available and subsequently got email confirmation with a reservation number. Turned up on the Tuesday for our friends 71st birthday celebration only to find the restaurant had cancelled the reservation, by email only, at 2.00pm that day!

Genuinely one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Brilliant meal, fantastic service! Will definitely be coming back!

We actually stumbled across Ounce as were trying to find a dog friendly restaurant in Worcester. Ounce were super helpful squeezing us in and were happy to cater to a dairy free request as well. When the steak was served we were actually taken aback by how good it was. Unquestionably one of the best steaks we have ever had! We enjoyed it so much we booked to visit again 4 days later and can't wait.Cannot recommend the quality of the food and cooking highly enough.

Visiting family we googled a place to eat.Reading the good reviews we wasn’t Disappointed.The flavours of the food were outstanding, I reckon there was cumin on the roast potatoes.Fresh vegetables lightly cooked and quite a variety,The slow cooked beef was slightly chewy for my liking but I understand there are many factors to why this was and sometimes out of the chefs hands.Pudding was superb being strawberry cheesecake.Staff were extremely friendly and obliging.Price was fair.Will definitely revisit one day.Parking in side streets was free on sundays.

We finally made it here after wanting to visit for a long time and now I don’t know why we didn’t find the time earlier!The staff were all really friendly and efficient as well as careful to follow hygiene rules. The place itself has a lovely atmosphere and is beautifully decorated. Most importantly the food was outstanding, soo tasty, great quality and plenty of it!!! It was the perfect place for a special Sunday lunch and we will be back soon for sure!

My boyfriend and I have been to ounce on many occasions so you can believe me when I tell you that Ounce is the BEST steak you will ever have. Steak is always cooked to perfection, seasoning is perfect, the sauces are rich and flavourful - I have never been disappointed!

Delicious food, I cannot complain about the food or the service.Starter - Camembert - delicious Mains- delicious Puddings - sticky toffee pudding a bit cakey and the blueberry creme brûlée a little loose in texture but both puddings tasty. One thing I was disappointed with was that I asked whether I could have the 10oz sirloin but swap the fries for mash- I was told this wasn’t possible ... (I didn’t want chips) so instead opted for the lamb which came with a dauphinoise gratin.All fine - except only ten minutes later I heard a waitress on the phone to the kitchen saying she’d done exactly this for another table despite knowing ‘she shouldn’t have?’ Which irked me slightly as it shouldn’t be one rule for one and another for another.It actually meant my main cost £18 instead of the £28 i would have spent on the steak with a sauce? Either way... food good, atmosphere good and obviously a popular place to eat. Would recommend... but allowing diners to swap one thing for another off the menu even for a small supplement would be a good idea oppose to telling them that isn’t a possibility and then letting another table do exactly that!! Xx

We came for the first time tonight, cannot fault a thing. I had the 12oz ribeye and my partner had the 16oz T-bone, exceptional food and lovely service from Holly. The owner is a fantastic and a very down to earth host, enjoyed the whole experience, we will be back! Amazing thank you x

A great dining experience all round. Food sensational, had a 16oz butchers cut steak with the butchers jus sauce and sides of grilled tomato, fries and salad. Asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare and was cooked to perfection, best steak I’ve ever had and would definitely recommend the jus sauce with that particular cut of steak, compliments it wonderfully. Staff also very good, polite, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Didn’t have to wait long for the food either even though the restaurant was busy. Will sure be returning!

Perfect steaks !! First venture out after lockdown and ounce delivered the ideal lunch..starters included warm bread, olives, hummus and salad.. then onto the chateaubriand..amazing! Literally perfect steak accompanied by tasty fries, cauliflower cheese and a brilliant pepper sauce.. we had to finish with dessert and coffee to top off the best lunch in ages !! 10/10 and highly recommended.

Absolutely superb food here. The steak deal on a Tuesday or Wednesday is ridiculous value, and the sides and sauces are also superb. Sunday lunch was also nice. Always received faultless service too.

Had a fab meal with a steak cooked just how I asked for it. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with friendly and very efficient staff. Went on a Tuesday night so enjoyed their pound an ounce on the butcher's cut offer. The steaks we had were very tasty and came with mushrooms (given to my mother as I'm not a fan), onions, skin on fries and a parmesan salad. Great value. Can recommend the Butcher's jus as a side order.

Amazing steaks, my husband had the T-bone and was really happy, I had the Sirloin which was lovely. Great sides and drinks. Service was great too, a really nice anniversary lunch. Will definitely return.

Had Sunday lunch here. Disappointed there wasn’t a vegetarian option for roast, had chicken which still had a bone attached (I asked and was told before ordering it wouldn’t) Carrots were shown the boiling water, there al dente and then there’s not cooked at all. Photos of cauliflower cheese was what drew us here. It was fine, nothing particularly tasty about it. Gravy was very rich (and referred to as ‘jus’ (which I thought was a bit up itself) extra ‘jus’ was £3 for a small dish. Overall it was fine but certainly doesn’t live up to the hype. Wouldn’t come here again.

Visited for Sunday lunch and between us tried Sunday roast, Chateaubriand and Rib eye. The latter- initially overcooked - was replace without fuss. The chateaubriand was was really tender and tasty, and all the accompaniments were very good. We had dessert also, which were well made. Good music good ambience and friendly service. Would definitely return. If I had any criticism, I think for a steak restaurant, the red wine selection could be a bit more interesting

Lovely venue, great atmosphere. Very good steaks. Was let down slightly by the Scallops starter, they were not caramelised enough and were over powered by the garnish. I’d definitely go again as had a great evening, but would try something different for starter.

Went to Ounce for a meal with my family and girlfriends family with a table of 6. The decor is beautiful, the food was lovely and service was brilliant. Everybody had a lovely meal. Most had the butchers cut at a pound an ounce which I would highly recommend. Two of our party had chateaubriand which was thoroughly enjoyed. The service throughout the meal was truly excellent. We had one server who dealt with us all night - young guy with a couple of tattoos on his arms. He was there when you needed him and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of character and was happy to take the custard on the dessert back to the kitchen on 3 occasions to cater for guests with differing tastes. Overall, an excellent experience and will certainly be going back.

Visited New Year’s Eve, they still did the £1 an ounce offer which was fantastic. Great bar/restaurant, friendly staff and great atmosphere, but above all great steaks. A great way to end 2019 and cannot wait to have our first visit in 2020 in the next week.Booking essential to get in at time you want.Ounce please keep it up - superb food and excellent value.

Wow Great Food reasonably priced. 3 steaks, 4 pints and sides for under £60. You would think it was cheap rubber but no. Amazing steak. Will deffo go again

Do something distinctive, and do it brilliantly is a good principle, and Ounce does just that. It’s a restaurant that specialises in steak, and on our experience, the steaks are pretty much perfect. We had the chateaubriand, and it was first class. So was the homemade focaccia starter.

Thank you to Lydia and her colleagues for looking after us all this evening. We throughly enjoyed the steak and sides. The atmosphere you guys create is outstanding. 👍😊

Have Visited many times mid week for the Steak especially Tuesday and Wednesday for the £1 an Ounce offer which are exceptional, but never before for the Sunday Roast.

Visited last Sunday and glad we booked as it was really busy.

Hadn’t been for a while, but as it was my birthday it was my choice of dining option and I fancied steak. I’m my humble opinion , Ounce serves the best steaks in Worcester .........and I wasn’t disappointed.

The food was exceptional - my husband and my steak was cooked to perfection. The only disappointment was having to wait 25minutes for our reserved table to become available and waiting for 30minutes for our starters.

I went to Ounce with work colleagues early evening and mid-week. The waitress was very friendly and the service was excellent. Majority of the party had various different cuts of steak and I had the mushroom risotto. The portion sizes were just right and the food was excellent. The place has a very cosy feel to it and I will definitely return. Excellent value, well presented and good atmosphere.

Went here on a work night out, unexpectedly after the place we booked cancelled. They were great and managed to squeeze us in with a short wait, very accommodating.

Recently visited this restaurant in Worcester the service and food was exceptional great gin and presented very well but just found it very noisy from its in house DJ had to shout to talk

Yet again we visited our favourite steak restaurant, Wednesday night a £ an ounce, so great value. We took 2 couples who had not been before and no one was disappointed. Great steaks, hot fries, cracking jus, cannot wait for our next visit.

Best steak i have had in a long long time. This is from a guy who has previously sent steak back and ended up teaching the chef to cook steak right!! Was really impressed and chose a cheaper cut that you wouldn't always choose and was so nice, could have eaten another though it would have beena squeeze as i was stuffed.

My family took me here for a special birthday and the dinner added to my special day. The service was great and the food was excellent. Steaks were to die for and the side dishes were too good to miss. There were 6 of us and every single one of us were blown away by the quality and taste.

While staying for a night in Worcester, the wife and me came across Ounce quite by chance. We were enticed in by the interesting looking interior and decided to go in for a drink.

Since the 1st time I’ve been in Ounce I got “in love” . Amazing steaks , risotto and deserts are divine. Love the atmosphere, decor. Staff is friendly and make us feel welcome. Secret garden is the perfect spot for a nice drink. Best place in Worcester

Came here on Saturday night at 9:30pm after walking out of Ostlers (see separate review) so we didn’t have a reservation, there was 6 of us so they checked with the chef to see if it was ok for us to have dinner, this was not a problem, we were seated and served straight away, all 6 of us ordered a fillet steak which was delicious, service was perfect and we finally had a lovely dinner. Thank you Ounce we will be back again!!!

Yet another great meal, we all (6of us) enjoyed our visit to Ounce. Yet again great service, friendly staff and on Wednesday the £1 per ounce value meal. We visit now nearly every week and look forward to our visit. Keep it up.

Booked this restaurant for 10 people for my friends birthday on 31st August 2019. I asked if we could take a small cupcake and they stated this was not a problem. The staff were very friendly and attentive and I was pleased with their attitude and great service together with the standard of food. It was great to invite friends to Worcester and feel satisfied with the service provided. So a big thank you to all the staff who were extremely accommodating.

I’d like to begin with just saying the waitress was fine and pleasant, no complaints there. The place is self is nicely decorated with a casual, fashionable atmosphere.

Booked online, and got a table upstairs. Was still busy for a Tuesday. Selected a butchers choice 10oz and a peppercorn source. Others had ribeye - all cooked to perfection. Snuck in a pudding - wonderful. Great for a special night or even a little treat.

Definitely one of our favourites places to head to for a Sunday lunch. We've visited twice now and both times have been excellent. Beautifully cooked meats, plenty of vegetables, perfect yorkie pud too. Definitely recommend.

Food was great as usual. However, having to wait 45 minutes for a table that was booked at 8 and then cramming 5 people onto a small table with not enough seats was less than ideal. The barman was then difficult about us having the correct number of seats for the table. Clearly overbooked the restaurant or had given away our table. If they aren’t careful the greed to cram in as many people as possible will ruin what is usually a super restaurant.

My son and I booked here for Sunday lunch. It wasn't particularly busy when we arrived, and the welcome was warm and friendly. We decided to sit out in the rear yard of the place, as it was a warm day. Unfortunately, there were only tables and benches, no chairs in which it is easier to sit back and relax. The only starter that appealed to me was not on, which was a disappointment, but I ordered the lamb, while my son had the beef, and we both agreed the quality, presentation, and portion sizes were excellent...probably one of the best Sunday lunches I have enjoyed! In terms of value for money, I would say this lived up to the mark...well done!

Our fifth visit to Ounce, Tuesday night is the £1 for 1 ounce of meat, absolute great value, I had a 14 ounce steak, fries, salad and mushrooms all for £14! Wife had 8 ounce and other family had 12 ounces- bottle of wine, bottle lager and pimms, also 6 large prawns for surf and turf and 3 sauces, total £87, great value yet again and all clean plates.

We popped out for Sunday lunch at the last minute without booking.We were found a table and both ordered the roast beef with all the trimmings.This must rate as one of the best meals we have had,the beef was perfectly cooked as were the vegetables with two yorkshire puds each and gravy in a little saucepan.Our waiter was a very pleasant young man and very professional.If i was to make one observation it would be the tables are very close together,although not a problem to us as it was early and quiet.I would imagine it would be a problem when busy.Would have no hesitation in eating here next time we are back in uk.

We arrived without reservation for sunday lunch. We had been recommended to go so we thought why not? And we were not dissappointed. It was truely lovely. The staff were attentive and friendly. The whole place had a quirky feel but was clean. My partner had T-Bone steak cooked to perfection. And i had the sunday roast. Both meals were beautiful and a must have bottle of Red wine called Fork Handles. What a beautiful atmosphere it was and definitely going to return.

After booking for a two people. We arrived 5 mins late due to some road works. Apologised as soon as we arrived. Seated next to a family - on the same table. Not at all awkward! Got told by the rude waitress that they had to ‘flip the table at 8’ so would need to be quick as we were late. 5 mins!! Due to a medical issue I can’t eat that quickly and decided to leave. We then got told they could seat us. A ridiculously large amount of people shoved into a tiny room. Heat was unbearable. Another person went for a cigarette. The whole restaurant filled witn the smell. I’m not anti smokers but when that’s all you can smell amongst the new family we had been sat with. Unacceptable. The waitress, the room, the heat, the patronising waitress who said ‘ see you managed to eat quickly’ - I didn’t, I have my husband my food made it a really horrible experience.
