Ive been trying to call to book a table for a big party of us wanting to visit for an evening soon. All I seem to ever get is the answerphone??

We were out for a ride on the motorcycles on a weekday morning and my partner suggested we go to Oscars as it had been recommended to her but we hadn’t visited before. What a hidden gem! Not so hidden as there were plenty of signs and we soon were in the car park outside what looked like an unassuming industrial unit. As we walked in to the American style diner area we immediately got a warm and friendly Somerset greeting. After enquiring if we’d visited before the server explained about the layout (back room by the workshop that was cool, in both senses of the word, and an upstairs that’s laid back with sofas and comfy furniture. She then recommended the waffle very enthusiastically and left us to read the menu before ordering. The back room where we settled was adjacent to the workshop and there were a few bikes and cars among the tables, chairs and fantastic decor. We’ll let the pictures speak for the great ambience. Every member of the team we met were genuinely friendly and made us so welcome without being overbearing. The waffle was HUGE and freshly made. The recommendation was spot on! I had a hot dog which was perfect. We’d recommend it families and friends and will be back again and again.

The milk shake was just the best and the burger (made in house) was delicious. The venue is super cool and made me just grin
