Orjowan in Kensington and Chelsea

Over-priced, over-cooked, bland...1 star only because 0 isn't an option! Ordered from here for the first time based on reading reviews - terrible mistake. Chicken was overcooked, like leather and bland, tasted like it was bleached! Kibbe was absolutely fried to a burned crisp - inedible Hummus was edible NEVER AGAIN!

Excellent food, highly recommended for authentic Lebanese and reasonably priced

Friendly, welcoming and available staff. We ate very well. The house wine was very good. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the place.

The four of us wanted to have a lovely quiet meal. The two young men serving could not be bothered to actually get our orders. No water, no drinks, no foods nothing. I made eye contact with the woman (who I assumed was in charge) and she quickly told them to get to us. No apology, takes our order. It should be noted there were only 2 tables in the restaurant. While the service was legitimately terrible (and of course they put a service charge on the bill), the food made up for it...and the twinkling lights enveloping the dining area.

Delicious and great service! Get food to share. I highly recommend the hummus beruity, falafel, moujaddara, and spicy potato! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu

We dined at Orjowan tonight. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. We highly recommend it for incredible Lebanese food.

I came in here not expecting this place to be tasteful and good. This is probably the best place of all the places I tried on this trip in the UK, where I actually liked the food. I like my food with seasoning and many flavors; this was definitely that.

Delicious food, an explosion of flavors with every bite. The service and atmosphere are outstanding. I especially recommend Makanek - Home-made Lebanese sausage and Lahem bel ajim :)

Its a lovely restaurant with authentic Arabic food, the service is great and friendly as well.

My 1st time trying this cuisine it wasn’t bad . They didn’t have any butter to dip the prawns that I ordered

This was a very nice find and everything about it was good. I would only suggest they serve actual Lebanese arabic bread which will be the experience even better

Very tiny place and not professional team

I took my partner there for his birthday and it was great. The food was excellent (everything so fresh and the bread delicious. We had the vegetarian mousaka and okra), service and staff just exceptionally friendly and attentive. We thought it was great value too… just on our doorstep. Can’t believe we have not visited before but we will be visiting again.

Very good atmosphere, cosy, friendly staff. We got served by two young men funny and friendly the owner shared a talk with us while we had dinner. Had nice lebanese wine. Definitely would vist thier again!!

We drove couple of hours in the traffic to spend a family meal and it was huge let down. We had a reservation and arrived 10 mins early, got seated and waited 10-15mins for someone to come and take the order. We ordered drinks, starters and mains altogether (thanks to the 15mins wait time!) and I guess starters arrived in 10-15mins. Thereafter we waited an hour for the mains to be served with no luck. We followed up with someone twice in between who said food is on the way! Finally we lost our patience (9 year old was starving!) and asked for the bill to settle. We were asked “dont you want the mains” to that we responded, did you serve us the mains? There was no apology but was served the bill and we went to the KFC nearby for some quick service (no one else could accommodate us without reservation). We were all dressed up in our Christmas jumpers to have a meal with my mum who is visiting us from India for Christmas, but was hugely disappointed with the treatment and service. Surprisingly, all the people who came after us almost finished their mains by the time we were leaving. Maybe it was just us?? Anyway one restaurant in the “never to visit” list :-)

Very nice service. Cheap food but great quality. It was full when we arrived and yet the food was promptly served. And the owner was extremely kind and offered us free dessert!

Personal and friendly restaurant with super yummy food that has that "home cooked" feel about it. Staff were incredibly welcoming and I couldn't get enough of the delicious Lebanese cuisine. Five stars.

There was a large group of us and they were a bit slow to take our order but the food was delicious 😋. We all paid separately which I know can be a pain but after tallying it all up the following day we realised that we had be overcharged by quite a large amount. I think the waiter got confused and charged double for some items. We will definitely go back but will check the bill thoroughly before paying 😊

So last month I went to London and stopped by at orjowan for some lunch and it was so good!! With so many authentic recipes and freshly prepared food I definitely loved this place and can’t Recommend it enough

The food is nice and arrived hot, but the meat portion was small for the okra stew dish.

Tolle Speisen und tolles Restaurant. Wir haben herzliche Gastgeber vorgefunden. Das Essen wurde recht schnell serviert und wir bekamen ein Dessert aufs Haus.

The most incredible food I've ever eaten. My first time having Lebanese food and this was just amazing. I will definitely be back!

My husband and I have come here for the last 5 years for our anniversary. Unfortunately since our last visit the quality has dropped massively. Perhaps a management change? The staff have changed. Instead of being greeted by the friendly faces we knew, a rude rather large woman who was obsessively chewing gum, gave us a table and left us to it. The kebab we ordered had definitely been defrosted. Dry from the outside, soggy on the outside. Portion sizes have reduced massively but the prices have increased by at least £10 a dish. We won’t be returning again. Wouldn’t recommend at all

Excellent Lebanese restaurant, outstanding restaurant overall. Had the hummus, bread, minted lemonade, and Kharoof Mehshi which is a lamb over rice with gravy on top. Flavors and portions are both ample. My server was amazing. She recommended the hummus and said the owner comes in the restaurant at the beginning of the day to make the hummus. My server had to leave before closing and she stopped by my table to say good night. There is outdoor and indoor seating. I hope to come back the next time I'm in London. My meal, drink, and service charge came to around £37. Reasonable.

We sat at an outside table. The food was great. The service was excellent. We had a selection of hot and cold mezze and a very good selection of vegetarian food was on offer.

I stumbled upon this place while visiting London. The patio was buzzing more than any other restaurant nearby, so I thought I would take that as a sign and try it. I was not disappointed! From the initial greeting from the host/waitress to the time I paid my bill, everything was excellent! I ordered a salad, an okra dish, and the mixed grill. Everything was fresh and tasty. I had to force myself to stop eating as to not get too stuffed. If you are ever in the Earls Court area of London, this is definitely a place you should add to your list.

Sat outside, after ordering we were pretty much left alone, which wasn't great when we found that the chicken wings were very undercooked. It took a while to get someone's attention. The wings were swapped out for huomous. When it came to settling up the bill we had to raise the issue with the wings and discuss how to settle up. Waiting to see if we've got food poisoning. Update: happy to say no ill effects

A good Mediterranean food, excellent taste and service.

I used to like this place and visit it few times per week, the Egyptian young lad who worked there was very friendly and attentive. Then one day I came and it was some fat arrogant woman in charge being a **** to everyone. This was two years ago. Never stepped back in ever again since. I recently got a haircut nearby and remembered this incident and thought I should let you know. That it’s easy to lose loyal customers if you allow mean people thorough nepotism to be working in a place that’s meant to welcome people with good service and good food. That woman was scary and drove me away from there forever

My family was visiting from Japan, meeting up with family from the US and we were all really looking forward to a nice final meal together. We were SO HAPPY we chose Orjowan! The food was excellent! And the service was stellar! The servers were perfectly attentive, for example, arranging so we could sit comfortably outside, noticing we didn’t get a sauce, and putting a napkin down to cover some stains we made on the table cloth. The waiter was a lovely young man with a perfect sense of humor and he made great recommendations so we would have variety making everyone happy. The fresh mint lemonade was insanely delicious and you can add a shot of vodka for some fun, too. The house white was fruity and crisp. You cannot go wrong here!

Absolutely love this place; great food, friendly service and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. I work nearby and it's now my after work local to meet friends. A bottle (or 2) of Lebanese red and a table full of delicious mezze with friends - what more could you want?

Busy and slow, but excellent Lebanese food.

We went three times to Orjowan during our trip because we loved it so much. The food is one of the best Lebanese food in London, their service is amazing (they make you feel at home). Najwa(I think I got the name right) was so great and welcomed us all three times like it was her own home.

Just the perfect place for some amazing Lebanese food. I’d recommend getting a little meze selection, the staff are super willing to help guide you through their exquisite menu. Can’t wait to eat there again.

This is my favourite lebanese restaurant. Healthy, fresh and not greesy. Not commercial like Maroush. This is the spot 👌 🙌 👏

Food was great. Loved it. They serve alcohol too and some Lebanese spirit drink which was amazing. A little like Ouzo. We were there late so some of the meat was unavailable. It was a nice experience but a tiny bit expensive.

This is a lovely restaurant. The service is friendly, prices are mid- range. It's very near to Earl's Court underground station. A sophisticated venue with a takeaway section, a lavish interior dining area and an outside dining area. The menu is very extensive. The food is quite frankly delicious and the portions generous. A solid 10 out of 10 for the Orjowan. We look forward to revisiting! Complimentary baklava was nice too.

I don’t know what’s better the service or the food, both 10/10! With the help of the amazing waitresses we ordered 4 starters which were outstanding. Our mains were massive portions (one land and one chicken) and our desserts were perfect too. Absolute must try!!

One of the few places that serve fresh Pitta, but only in the evenings. The garlic and chili sauce are superb, go well with the Humus.

Incredibly authentic Lebanese cuisine at a very high standard, family run, very fresh ingredients and freshly made to order (including the homemade bread). A real hidden gem, so full of love and joy. It’s amazing!
