The best coffee and a great cafe' - will be back to try to the food as looked delicious. Don't be put off by the industrial looking setting - it's a cafe' with their HQ all in one.

I see they review all of these BUT still do not reply to genuine complaints!I did not explain in fully as I’d done so in my email to the owner. I did praise them on a great product and a successful business . However it seems being polite in this doesn’t qualify for good manners and a reply . All I can say is train you staff to deal with your CUSTOMERS. As well as making pretty coffee!!! Perhaps all they want is good reviews ?

Why doesn’t this company respond to genuine complaints . Which in my case was well mannered and did praise many aspects whilst advising them of a situation that happened . Interestingly I know of others that never received any replies. Shame for a Cornish company that seems to have its finger on the pulse

Brilliant place with excellent high quality coffee. Ww went on a sunday and happy to see ghem open and serving a diverse range of the public. There is a wide selection and wide selection of other drinks including teas, kefirs, juices, beers and smoothies . Friendly and prompt service. Beautiful interior and we even read up about some coffee culture and design based stuff by browsing some of the books and magazines. Really refreshing to see high quality outfits like this with trained staff and excellent product, so much better than the tea rooms, cafes or hotels was dragged around as a kid. Would definelty return and seek out some of their London spots too.

Tasty toasties for grown ups not much choice for children. Very limited choice generally. I would say it was pricey but the coffee was fabulous, we did have to wait 45 minutes for the 2 sandwiches we chose to be toasted, even though they were made up ready in the counter. Limited toilets - 1 and it was filthy, floor was very wet too - I did tell staff but they just said they had been busy, they were not when I told them but no one went to check them or do anything about it.

What a great little find this was. We were on holiday last November and passed the sign on our way into Porthleven. As it was in what looked an industrial site I thought it was a roasting business only. But, being a coffee lover and down on holiday again, I mentioned to my husband that I wanted to give it a try. Please go if you are in the area, staff were great and the coffee and food was delicious. There is also plenty of parking.

We were last here in April 2022 and nothing has changed. Perfect coffee in this industrial space as you would expect. Double espresso properly served with a side of tap water. Delicious cakes and sandwiches. Fresh flowers on the tables and a mother in law's tongue amusingly tied up in the corner. This roastery is also featured in the South West Independent Coffee Guide. Doggy friendly. A rather sweet team, and whilst not full of gay abandon and bonhomie, I feel some of the negative opinions unfair and unwelcome in these difficult times for hospitality, if you please. 🇬🇧🇳🇿

We used to love popping in here when we were in Truro, you would be lucky to get a seat but now it’s take your pick. In a nutshell the place has lost its soul.

Festive Afternoon Tea this afternoon was very disappointing. It is clearly a stop gap to keep income trickling in between Sunday lunch and evening dinner service. The biggest issue is with the service, very inattentive, unconcerned staff not in the slightest bit interested in providing a professional level of attention. The afternoon tea was acceptable but not exactly delightful let alone memorable or to be recommend to others. Delightful setting with the hotel beautifully appointed and well decorated for Christmas, just a pity the staff were not switched on at all. Management at fault and it would appear no investment made in staff training.

Dropped in last night to be greeted by a super friendly bar man. The pizza’s are incredible and their delicious Sunday roasts are now back in the menu. With an unbeatable location and stellar service it’s our favourite spot.....

Really good full Cornish. Generous portions. The bacon was griddled so tasty and not greasy, Harvey's sausages are ways peppery perfect. Would've like a hot plate and homemade beans rather than tinned. Will defo go back. The decaf coffee was dreadful though!
