Absolutely brilliant live our time at O’Neill’s Nottingham the staff are amazing and the food is beautiful fantastic job chefs and the music choice was perfect while watching all the sports. I could go on and on with praise but I’d be here all day thank you O’Neill’s notts we’ll all be back soon.

This pub has a wonderful customer service management and head chef and kitchen colleagues. The managers manage their colleagues in the most respectful way they can this also comes across to their customers. Customer service at the bar and table is of very high standards as is the finest cooked food not only in preparation but also in the way they cook the food. I fully recommend the management customer service experience and head chef and their colleagues in the kitchen. Went over the Christmas period very busy used app to order drinks and food

Food is at a great quality with service speeds similar to most pubs. The drink variety is great. As someone who works here as well, the staff and bartenders are welcoming and friendly.

Ordered a beer it was flat. Ordered 3 for £14 plates, my quesadillas were cold, couldn’t eat them all. My halloumi fries were over cooked and my Guinness fries were cold. No one came over to ask if everything was ok. My kids meals and mums meals were luke warm. There were no kids menus on the table. Terrible experience

Very slow table service. Food is of great quality and great portion sizes. Didn't have much interaction with the staff. And opening times on Google are incorrect.

We arrived a bit early for the table we booked, it was near the toilets, so we moved, my wife went to the bar to get drinks and order food, then we waited,and waited, 40 minutes no sign, then someone bought knives and forks, 10 minutes later my wife went back to the bad and said 5 more minutes and we want our money back, then the food arrived, it was nice hot. But after waiting for nearly a hour NOT good, I understand the bar filled up very quickly and drinks are ware they make BIG profits, but if you haven’t got the staff to get food out quickly don’t serve it. Although it was good we will not return.

The drinks are very reasonably priced for a city centre pub , the Guinness is top notch , they also sell Jameson’s Crested a rarity in high street pubs. The bar staff are super nice and polite. They have a happy hour if that’s you thing, the menu is awesome with a wide variety at a good price. Oh and the music is cool.

Went in around 4 food was brilliant chef needs a raise the manager ( assuming as he was the only one in a shirt) needs to smile more and stop being rude to customers and staff absolutely appalling service and won’t be going there again he should be sacked

Very disappointed, service lack lustre and terrible. Got vegetarian and non-vegetarian food mixed up along with overall food order wrong. Didn't seem to appreciate the seriousness of the error. When the service is below "spoons" why would you bother with O'Neils?

Ordered a double Cheese and Bacon burger from what was a new member of staff who was been trained up (young girl with glasses). Due to inexperience on the tills and taking orders I was given a single instead of a double despite asking for a double burger. Very understanding of this as I have worked in hospitality and retail over the years and have been in that position plenty of times myself. This review is in no way directed at herself. Raised the mistake with the staff and asked would it be possible to get an extra beef patty from the kitchen. Blue haired man said “No” and said the only situation I would be able to get an extra Patty is if he rang it through the till and I paid an extra £10 again. Refused to ask the kitchen for an extra party or rectify the mistake. Was made to feel as though it was my mistake/fault and that I was infact interrupting his personal chat and conversation with the new girl behind the bar. Never pushed it as I’m not one to act the Karen and stress over a patty but from a bar/hospitality point of view it was very poor service and unprofessional. Eat and drink occasionally in the bar after work and during the weekends and normally have 0 issues. Thought it was very mean and miserable to lose potential future trade from a customer over a £1-£2 patty. Unfair to leave critiques in my opinion without recognizing the Positives. This review despite having a negative vibe as a whole doesn’t reflect the bar in reality. Generally a good pub and food is normally excellent with the atmosphere good with music been played throughout the bar on speakers. Plenty of TVs so easy to view sports games. Good sports bar and for nights out. During the day it’s quieter for a meal and drinks.

Food is always dreadful here. Servers are very rude. Both food and drink are overpriced. I would usually avoid but they give a complimentary drink on the app. However they refused to let me use it claiming they had seen me in the pub before

On website says was showing celtic rangers game with no sound. Called ahead 4 days before as was travelling down from Glasgow to say in Nottingham we understood that the English Cup Final was on but arrived at pub only to be told by bar staff member NO to Celtic Rangers game and looked like manager NO we are very busy. We understood would be able to see with no sound. Don't advertise the website and also after a phone call in advance to say YES showing no sound. So never seen game. Will remember next time not to go to your pub. Change your website if not going to show games.

I've been going into this bar occasionally on Saturday night. This bar has a really good dj on a Saturday night that creates a really good atmosphere that makes the place a go to bar, music a smidgen too loud though. No Madri on a prime trading day, Saturday is poor though. Door staff messing about is not professional, thus further training required.

Good sports bar but the bar staff aren't very good. When you stand at the bar the bar staff are all talking and even when they clock you are there but they still carry on talking. I find this extremely rude . We went to ten bars that day and this was the only place that ignored us until I had to ask for service.

The food is good but you can be waiting awhile for it. The service can be slow are the is usually only one person service and other staff standing around at the end of the bar

Came in 05/05 the bar staff were absolutely wonderful and have definitely made me want to return, mark especially was incredible. 10/10 would recommend !!

I'm not quite sure what makes O'Neils an Irish influenced bar. There was nothing that have us Irish vibes when we went in with family, who were in Nottingham from Belfast. We ordered food and it took 50 minutes to come out and someone definitely doesn't know how to cook steak well done, it was red raw and leaking blood. Chips were nice though. There was no atmosphere, the staff weren't rude but they definitely weren't welcoming.

Only thing wrong was we asked for starters to come first on the app but all the food came out at the same time. Otherwise service was great

We had the best burgers tasty and great fries never been here before but definitely go back .Great atmosphere. Ours was a groupon deal but even the normal price is really reasonable.

Never had a problem before......but on ordering food when it arrived we waited at least 5 mins for cutlery 🤷‍♀️ food was getting cold......one meal was missing 15 mins later we asked a member of staff, where the food was? she asked if we'd all ordered food I said yes we are a meal missing.....she seemed confused to I proceeded to tell her again 4 ppl oresed food only 3 got meals......she put her hand up in my face and looked so pissed off that I'd asked her about the missing meal she shook her head and said I will go and see what's happening she never came back ? It seemed it was to much trouble......we finally got the meal we'd all eaten our meals no apology at all . Really need to sort the customer services out because its a really nice pub other wise
