First time back to my hometown, how the place has changed . Northgate has a few new delights one being Olive and Meze , a little place ( long) but full of delights such as great food and decor . Starter and main course for around £15 which in todays climate was a delight to the wallet . Any complaints you ask ? Only a slight one , to compliment the delicious food were chips which i found disappointing, didnt sit right with the tasty food on offer . Highly recommend and try out the video shop next door ( ask for the latest VHS advertised in the window and see what happens.

We had a lunchtime meal for four yesterday at this splendid establishment. As always the atmosphere was cordial & relaxed, the service was excellent & the food was superb. We always sample Turkish/greek cuisine wherever we go, but have yet to find anywhere close to this restaurant, it truly is a little gem, long may it continue. (occasionally the music is a bit too loud, but then again it is wherever you dine out these days, but still, no excuse!)

Absolutely delicious food and lovely service. Everything felt very authentic and I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend this little hidden gem!

Took my parents here for their first Turkish meal. The service was lovely and friendly, the food was very tasty (and the set menu was a huge amount of food!) and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Plus trying Turkish wine for the first time was good too. Will be back!

I usually come here for lunch on a Saturday when I'm out doing a bit of shopping. The lunch menu is extremely affordable and delicious (think I've tried all of it at this point). Full of flavour and cooked and seasoned perfectly. Service is great as well, very friendly and approachable staff.

Was planning to go there for a while but finally gone for Sunday dinner and I do recomment it very much! Food was amazing and the portions biggest I have ever seen 🙈 i do love to eat, but had to take half or my main meal home !

We could have been abroad,felt very authentic.The food was lovely and very generous portions my husband and I shared the 3 course set meal WOW!! Moussaka was proper comfort food and Backlava was delicious, can't wait to go back.I'm amazed it wasn't packed as it was a Saturday.

Beautiful, authentic food, lovely staff. Enjoyed a pide (it's a bit like a Turkish pizza) just like what we had in Istanbul - even the bread basket was great! Fantastic value for money going in the weeknight too (look for their special offer on Facebook). Highly recommended 🙂

Superb little Turkish restaurant. The main menu was excellent, and it was difficult to choose! The 4 of us went for the offer deal of 2 courses for £14.50, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was lovely, and the overall experience was fabulous.

This is a great hidden gem for good priced home cooked food. Had a great two course vegetarian meal with alcohol for £23. Would definitely recommend.

First time here tonight and the food was delicious,we had the 3 course menu and everything we had was absolutely lovely,the staff were great and it was a nice arnosphere and great value,we will definitely be back again and would highly recommend,great little gem x

This place is great value. If you choose the set menu for 2, you get 3 courses for £22 per person which is a bargain, it’s all freshly prepared, very tasty and excellent quality. Friendly service too. It’s quite small but I think if they were to move to bigger premises, it would lose some of its appeal. We’ve been several times and will continue to do so.

Food was quite good but a bit too salty. Portions were large. Service polite and professional.

Quiet little restaurant, excellent food, great staff

Joined friends and family to celebrate Michelles'50th birthday . Great night, and the Restaurant didn't let us down. With over 30 hungry people to feed , the staff got every order correct, and food was served to everyone in quick time. The food was fantastic, even the wife who doesn't eat Turkish food when away in Turkey said it was delicious, so congratulations to management and staff for good food and great service. Thanks for a great night, and we will be definitely back soon.

Great find in Wakefield. The mixed meze were a generous size and tasty. The main courses were excellent, fresh and so full of flavour. The staff were friendly and attentive. Good drinks menu. Do not miss if you are visiting Wakey.

We always enjoy the food here as itvis freshly prepared and delicious. The prices are reasonable and there is a huge choice.

Fabulous food, relaxed atmosphere. Generous portions and reasonable prices. Had feta and olives, salmon, kleftiko, and baklava and recommend all of them. Coffee and Turkish delight was also a real treat.

Visited O&M last night for a meal with friends. A small restaurant on wakefields Northgate with plenty of competition around that can seriously compete with the big boys. The food was absolutely fantastic with great portion sizes and we literally found nothing to complain about. Whilst the girls chatted my friend and I sank a few beers and when then bill came we were genuinely shocked at how cheap it was for the amount of food and drink we'd had. Will definitely retur so I can order the dish that my friend had lol.

Ottimo posto per mangiare qualcosa di buono e veloce. Posto pulito e cibo davvero buonissimo. Abbiamo preso 3 menù con carne di pollo e insalatine varie come accompagnamento. Un posto accogliente dove mangiare qicosa. Se siete stanchi prima di andare in albergo a riposare. E il cuoco cameriere simpatico carino e gentile... 😍 Abbiamo speso 40 euro per 3 persone.

People of Wakefield you really need to visit this restaurant. The food was amazing, full of mouthwatering flavours. Best dinner we've had for a while. As a party of 4, every one of us thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambiance. The staff were great, attentive and efficient. Can't wait to go again. 😀

Lovely food. We went mid-week so the restaurant was quiet. Calamari on the mixed starter was a bit tough. Moussaka was lovely, and a big portion with side salads.

We called mid week for a date night. Still as good as ever, our favourite place in Wakefield to eat. Excellent value for money and always tasty. Cannot ask for more.

Visited 26/03/22. Table for 7.30pm for 2. Ordered starters (Halloumi for myself, my wife had falafel starter). Took a considerable amount of time to arrive...restaurant wasn't that busy. Initially received the wrong food but was corrected but the starters were nothing to write home about. We ordered 2 glasses of Pinot.....no one came to us and asked how the food was or if we'd like another drink. For mains we ordered Vegetarian kebab dishes. Having an allergy to mushrooms I specified this to the waiter(who I presumed was the owner). Bearing in mind we arrived at 7.30pm the mains took til 9pm to be served which was poor. Staff wise there were 2 front of house staff & 1 chef which for a Saturday evening caused all the problems in my opinion. To have one person cooking all the food is not good business sense. The dishes were not what we ordered and checking, there were mushrooms in the dish which, if eaten would have been a lovely trip to A&E on a Saturday night for me with admission to a ward for a few days. We politely told the server the issues of the wrong dish & the health risk. We paid for what we'd already eaten and left. Overall a substandard service. I booked because of the 5 star Google reviews but our experience was well off that mark. If I could put zero stars I would. There are a lot better places in Wakefield you could visit for dinner.....this establishment I certainly would not recommend.

I visited here after reading the 5 star rating reviews …. This place is a hidden gem, tasty food, attentive friendly staff and situated in a cosy little restaurant. Thoroughly recommended !! We will definitely be visiting again soon

Fabulous place to eat. Went on Thursday evening and it was quiet. Met inside by our waiter Mehmet with a great greeting. Food served was plentiful if not a little too much for us. Really good flavours in the set meal for two and great value for a 3 course meal. I tried the Turkish coffee afterwards which I really enjoyed. All in the party of 4 had a great meal. Washed down with a couple of bottles of Yakut red and a glass of house wine. Yummy, it's a definite recommendation from me. Thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks to Mehmet and chef.

Booked here for my Dad’s birthday last week. The food is amazing! Definitely no complaints there. There were 14 of us so not exactly an easy table but the staff were so helpful, patient and lovely. Would definitely recommend and will be going again!!!

Ordered starter and main. Starter was delicious (Halloumi). Ordered Turkish Fajitas for main and it was so oily it was pretty much inedible. Didn’t get any check in from the waiter to see how the food was so unfortunately didn’t provide feedback at the time. I think the waiter struggled with English a little and so was avoiding too much conversation with customers? Either way, my partner’s food was really good and my starter too so not all bad!

Visited the restaurant on 20/11/21 for the first time. My wife had aubergine in tomato however it was ketchup (it looked and tested like that). I had the lamp kleftico which was tasteless and I think microwaved? Apart from this the service was very poor, one guy serving, cleaning, seating people and sorting out the bills. Maybe we were unlucky but on our experience it is one to miss.
