We popped in when we were in the area after being recommended by friends. The two locals running it while we were there were friendly and helpful. The coffee was delicious as was the cake. There was a good stock of local items as well as more unusual preserves and condiments etc. We will definitely return - this sort of place needs supporting.

Awesome shop, lovely people, delightful setting. We visited the shop during the last day of our River Severn walk and it was a lifesaver. Had just what we needed, when so many other villages barely had a bench to sit on, let alone a shop. Thank you.

What a great little venue. Please advertise for more volunteers so that you can ope longer hours. Afternoon teas would be a great addition especially now we can move more freely

Oldbury Village shop is everything you want a village shop to be - friendly, unique and well stocked. Whether you want essentials or a special treat, you will find it here. The outside tables are normally filled by passing cyclists, locals and families rewarding themselves with a nice cuppa and a slice of cake. It is well worth the trip.

My second visit here whilst cycling. A great little shop with a good selection of food and refreshments. Very friendly. Reasonably priced and staffed by volunteers.

Sums are not the specialist subject at this well intentioned local facility. It is at times very popular and unable to cope with demand.

This little community shop is an oasis in winter, for hot coffee, or icecream on the hot days. and a handy stop off for cyclists , local dog walkers. or walkers using the Severn Way. Volunteer staff friendly, and there is a remarkably diverse choice of interesting biscuits, honeys, gluten free nibbles and much more on shelves ,, Locals provide fresh veg in season, and coffee is excellent. Sit inside or outside when weather permits. Great place for those who dont need the pub at that point, and very nice peaceful place to bring your elderly relatives for a quiet cuppa. with cake or kiddies for the excellent icecream!

Very basic, tea and cake sort of place run by volunteers but spotlessly clean, very good value and a pleasant place to sit and while away some time when exploring this attractive little village and the lovely area. Lots of local information on display and everyone is friendly. Well worth planning a stop off if passing through and quite a nice variety of things available if stocking up too.

Called in here several times when passing through Oldbury. Provides a good stock of everyday essentials, plus coffee and cake. Really need a nice day for this as seating is outside, but very welcome after a walk by the river. Run by volunteers and can only exist if supported so if you are passing do drop in and buy something.

I appreciate the effort the local volunteers do to keep this village shop open. A fantastic community business that offers excellent service and fantastic local produce. This little gem has bailed me out many times. Well done to all the volunteers.

I absolutely love this family run cafe . Kerry and Rich are so lovely and welcoming. I’m a coffee snob and the coffee here is spot on . I should have put a photo of my breakfast on but I’ve eaten it ,
