Honestly the best cooked breakfast I've ever had. 😋 freshly cooked to order, piping hot, good quality and low in price. Staff were so welcoming and attentive. By far the best cafe in NW leics.

I visited this morning. The atmosphere is always so warm and friendly. I had one of the most fantastic fruit scones bar none! Deeelicious. Definitely worth a visit. I'll be back!

Love this village tea room. Perfect for afternoon tea with delicious homemade cakes. They also do a really good sausage sandwich for breakfast. All excellent value for money. Staff are always friendly, helpful and approachable.

This unassuming cafe in the “old school” rooms on the edge of the park is well worth a visit. They have a range of snacks and sandwiches but their cakes are the most popular offerings they serve. The breakfasts represent good value in comparison with other cafes nearby. Dog friendly too ( water bowls available). Outdoor tables during the restrictions and open on Mondays (unlike many of the others.

Coffee shop & tea rooms tucked away behind the Library on School Lane. Serves basic hot food including delicious bacon sandwiches and great homemade cakes. Staff are very friendly and provide good service. Has wooden tables with benches outside and is next to large park & play area so good for kids. It's nice to find a good honest local tea room serving freshly prepared food at very reasonable prices. Do try one of the homemade cakes

We love this cafe, especially my Mum who lives in Syston, and despite mobility issues, she likes to be taken there as much as possible. The food and service are fantastic. The only two issues we have are temperature and toilet facilities. Both are fine for younger people, but for the majority of its customers - elderly people - I find it strange that their only toilet is up a flight of stairs that are too much for any one with mobility problems ...there is no alternative or lift. Also, the cafe is often on the cool side - I have no idea what could be done to warm the place up, but given how busy it is, surely they could do something....? It's a shame to have to write anything negative as, as stated, this cafe is otherwise excellent.

We visited today at lunchtime. It’s always encouraging to see a place full of customers and we chose to wait a few minutes until a table became free. We had a coffee each and a lasagne each, which was served with granary bread and salad. The food was tasty and nicely presented.

We popped in for a quick bite to eat on Saturday as we were doing some local shopping. As it was a sunny day, the few seats outside were taken, but we managed to get a table inside. Service was friendly and helpful and as soon as I discovered the quiche was homemade, I just had to try it. I chose the individual cheese and caramelised onion quiche. It was delicious! A lovely little independent cafe!
