Ordered 2 chicken & mushroom pies and 1 large chips. The chips were very hard and chewy - couldn't bite through them, some were undercooked in the middle. They tasted horrible, either re-cooked or cooked in old oil. The pies were extremely hard on top - couldn't bite through the pastry and soggy on the bottom. Will not be returning. No wonder there wasn't anyone else in the shop, it used to be so good and always busy when previous owners were there.

Neither of us could eat this. Both cod and chips tasted very strange, sorry but won't be using again.

Visited today with friends. The fish and chips were incredible, not greasy, beautiful light batter and very fresh. Best fish and chips we’ve all had a long time ❤️ I would definitely recommend and we will be back

Donner meat from here had been beautiful the last few weeks, thought I had finally found a good kebab. Fast forward to today, horrible. Couldn’t even eat it. Threw all the portions away had a horrible smell to it. What have you done?!

Food cooked to perfection (cod, chips and mushy peas) with a hot cup of strong tea (as requested). Polite and efficient staff, clean and tidy eating area, w.c facilities with baby changing area. Will definitely come here again. Prices a little high, but considering the quality of food and staff, it's worth it

Food poisoning after having oysters, mussels, lobster here. Great atmosphere and decent service, seems to be lacking in the kitchen department though.

Unfriendly service. End of the chips, lots of small chips in the bottom of the pack.
