This is my go to coffee shop for a weekend breakfast treat or when I have family staying and can’t face cooking breakfast for them. The staff are lovely and service is always very quick even when it is very busy. My personal favourite is the bacon and pancakes but I have been told the bubble and squeak/ black pudding breakfast is excellent. Portions sizes are very good and it is excellent value for money. The food is not at all greasy which is what keeps me going back time and time again.

Been going to Oasis since early 2009. I have added a photo to show the outside has new signs making the shop look fantastic. It is my only ‘go to’ place for coffee, breakfast and/or lunch. An amazing, varied menu including breakfasts, salads, panini, sandwiches, omelettes and more. All cooked to order (not microwaved like most places), beautifully presented and served by lovely, efficient staff. Every meal I’ve had has been superb and will satisfy the biggest appetite. Currently added to the menu is the Xmas bap, filled with turkey, stuffing and cranberry. Definitely needs to be tried. The shop is beautifully decorated for Xmas and would even get the Grinch into the festive spirit.

I have been going to Oasis since they first opened. The quality of food and standard of service has not changed. We have a chat when I pop in to get the usual morning fix at least every couple of weeks. Over the years, I have been there with family, been there with friends, had lunches with colleagues and had quality time with hubby. I have never been disappointed. Nikki makes very tasty food and Simon is a fantastic host. So I find, I keep going back!

MORE AT TripAdvisor

My wife and her elderly father visited this cafe really by accident. It being Bexhill, we couldn't find a place to park near the intended restaurant and were circling round again when a spot became available. We then decided to go to the nearby eating house as it was stormy and some of us were dodgy on our pins. Oasis Cafe was across the road. We tentatively entered the recently converted and slightly spartan decor with beautiful young attendants ready and waiting, prepped in newly designed spray-on black t-shirts and matching jeans. We negotiated the unfortunate trip hazard step and unlevelled floor and took a seat near an entertaining window to watch the effects of the storm on the world outside. The menu was traditional 'Modern British' and offered some staple Mediterranean dishes, but a whole menu of different levels of English Breakfasts. All very reasonably priced for less than £6. We soon decided and were shortly asked for our order - without undue haste and not too later we felt irrelevant - as we can in some restaurants. Tuna Nicosia, Chillli Baked Potato and Big Breakfast was ordered with teas and coffees. A touch of three different styles of cooking but none too taxing. Within a few moments (don't remember how long but it seemed very natural) the breakfast arrived, but the rest came a few moments later which posed a dilemma of whether to start without the others. Then the other dinners arrived. For the price, we only expected a light meal but this was something else. It was beautifully presented, huge portion that was excellently cooked throughout - indicating it had NOT come out of a microwave. The breakfast was delightfully grease free - it lacked the often disappointing greasiness, and yet was really well cooked - nothing over or under cooked, toast that was hot, crisp and dripping with delicious butter. The sausages (always a test of a good English) were a sensible size and tasty browned off on most sides, moist and a wholesome traditional taste. The Tuna salad was an full mound of a delicate mix tasty quality ingredients and good sauce tossed in the tuna. The chilli baked potato was also enormous with lashings of chilli poured over a small boulder of a potato. And then there was a good size side salad - a much larger than the usual 'garnish'. Each meal was a challenge to finish and it was only 'piggy me' who enjoyed my Big Breakfast far too much to leave any of it. I did consider licking the plate, but felt this wasn't quite 'low brow' enough. Then when we went to the till it was less than £20 for everything including the drinks. I asked to check, cause I was sure they were doing themselves out of funds. This was a fantastic find. Although the steps were a bit of a health hazard, and the decor didn't know what it wanted to say, the food and service was second to none. Absolutely enormous, delicious and SO reasonably priced. Probably due to the decor I was expecting something else - I'm not sure what, but it certainly wasn't this good. Sorry, guys.

We have been going around the local cafes that provide a cooked English style breakfasts for over a year now and The Oasis is the best one we've found so far. Great service in a open light and clean dining area with good service from a cheerful group of staff. But the highest praise should be for the fare they serve up here and all cooked and served to our individual tastes. This is an old town filled with old buildings and some of them need some cleaning and painting. This place needs some sprucing up. it is a little sad on the inside. boring decor with no character. The service was OK but the servers were not very talkative or had much personality. They seemed to be just 'doing their job'.The food was typical English fare and if you like that it was good. If you are not used to English food, it was pretty standard cafe food. I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese wrap. it was edible but I have had much better. the actual wrap was too thick and tasteless.IF you just want a good English breakfast. It's a good place to go.

I met my daughter here last week, both of us on lunch breaks from work. The food is very reasonably priced; she had a three egg omelette with x 2 fillings, a small salad and a very large baguette - £4.95 and commented that "they were very generous with the filling". I had a baked potato with masses of prawns for £5.95 which came with coleslaw, salad and extra butter - excellent value. The staff are very pleasant and are able to adjust the meals to suit the customer. The service is very slow; we waited 1/2 an hour for our food but as it is all cooked to order that's not really surprising. However, because our time was limited I did wonder if we would manage to eat it without rushing too much. Overall, a very good place to have lunch in pleasant, clean surroundings with friendly staff. I will definitely go again.

Bexhill is a weird place. The town centre is dreary, dead, decades behind the times, and unspeakably dreadful. Yet the Oasis Café, half way between the station and the sea front, is a breath of fresh air. I had the best cup of coffee here that I think I've ever had. It's gorgeous slightly smoky taste lives on in my mind and I can't wait to experience it again. I was told that it is a special blend their suppliers created just for them. It's also reasonably priced. The menu is limited, and not in any sense exciting. But the food is beautifully prepared and presented. And again it is reasonable. There is no real indication from the outside that there is anything special about this café. But the experience was just excellent. I'll be back. And I'd recommend it to anyone in or visiting Bexhill. Heaven knows, with excellence in such short supply in this town, this really is a welcome, and welcoming, oasis.

On the plus side, friendly staff, good portion sizes, nicely cooked but some things niggled. The plastic tablecloth was tacky in both senses of the word, my coffee cup stuck to it. Also they were unable to provide a poached egg, fried or scrambled only, due to they say lack of space in the kitchen. Rather odd in the days of plug in electric rings and electric frying plans etc, surely a little space could be utilised for the healthier option. Finally was disappointed by some of the ingredients, smoked bacon did not taste at all smokey and farmhouse west country cheddar mysteriously seemed to have had a personality swap with mozzarella in an omelette. Very odd. However, it was reasonably priced so would probably go there again without such high expectations.

One of us had the special which was bacon and onion suet pudding……You get a generous bowl of veg each and one of us had new potatoes and one had chips. Dessert was clotted cream rice pudding……Heaven! We are lucky that this is our local pub and it couldn’t be better! Cheers!

Go through the dowdy antique shop frontage into the tiny, almost cramped room behind and prepare for a treat. We three all picked the all day breakfast; proper bacon, real butcher's sausages and all the trimmings. At around £6, with coffee refills, we couldn't have been happier!

Cappuccino was not cappuccino, just normal coffee with chocolate on. Definitely not worth £3

Really fresh tasty fish, cooked to order, always piping hot, always good sized portions and the staff are lovely too.

Now called Chapter Two, not Two Trees. We enjoyed a lovely no thrills breakfast here which is exactly what we needed. The owners had signage up stating that they were away and the lady who appeared in charge in their absence was doing a great job. Made us very welcome and provided great service with a smile.
