Really enjoyed my breakfast and will definitely be returning . Moved from an inside table to outside and they moved our drinks for us which was a nice touch.

I had the 'Diet Breakfast' - delicious cooked breakfast without the guilt :). Great food and friendly service in a lovely surroundings.

I wanted to order a sandwich and cup of tea buy when I approached the door, a worker came rushing out claiming that the the kitchen was closed because the place was too busy although, there were 3 empty tables outside which was where I wanted to eat. It was blaringly obvious that she thought I wanted to come in and the fact that I am confined to a wheelchair would be inconvenient. At no time was I offered one of the 3 available tables outside that if they cannot cope with serving should not be there. As a wheelchair user it is difficult enough to use most shops, cafes etc without feeling like you are on show but how that woman treated me was beyond the pale. I felt embarrassed and angry and in four years of being in a chair this is the first time I have felt DISCRIMINATED against. I live in Westbury and was looking forward to enjoying having breakfast out and would have used the place regularly but I will give this place a wide birth from now on and I advise other people in the same situation to do the same if you wish to avoid being made to feel like a pariah. The server obviously doesn't know how to deal with disabled people and how being treated this way can affect a persons state of mind. DISCRIMINATION. DISCRIMINATION. DISCRIMINATION. What a terrible way to run a business.

Had an unplanned lunch visit in December which was great. Had the butter chicken burger with chips and salad and a soft drink. The food came quite quickly and was freshly prepared, hot and tasty. Staff very friendly, would recommend

We made a mundane choice - blt on granary, ham on white, with a tea and a smoothie, but it all was raised above the mundane by how well it was done. Excellent quality bread, ham, salad. Delicious smoothie. Nice bright room with comfortable seating and good service.

Visited here for Brunch and the Food and service are good and well presented, however the let down on this is really the trip to the toilets which are upstairs and quite frankly the entire ceiling including the Toilets is covered in damp mould. This sadly lets the venue down, this maybe outside of their control but doesnt give you the warm feeling . Maybe they can get it sorted and painted it would be better for them and probably no cost too much

service from waitress today was lovely, however it was unbearably hot. Aircon would’ve been appreciated !! Wouldn’t recommend to people who want to dine in the summer

Great little cafe , very friendly staff and hard working… very dog friendly. My business partner and friends go there most days of the week throughout the year , never had a bad meal Yet or a cold coffee ..the cafe is normally very full and busy ..which should speak volumes on how great it is … not sure the people post poor reviews were meaning cafe 7 … not in my experience anyway Would recommend this place everyday… Chris Barney and Dale

Visited this cafe last week for a quick coffee catch up. Disappointed is an understatement. The coffee was cold and weak and when we tried to complain the manager said that we had left it too long and that he wouldn’t replace our coffee because we had left it too long to drink them! He was extremely rude and gave us dirty looks the whole time we were there. Management needs changing before I will be trying this cafe again.

I went in this morning and none of the staff had masks on. I went in with my family to have a bite for breakfast. I can quite honestly say it is not worth it. The man who ushered us in was very quick to be rid of us, he was staring at us as if we were doing something wrong. It was quite honestly insulting! When I asked for a latte extra foam I was told it would be an extra 50p (really an extra 50p for a little foam? Disgusting). The coffees were stone cold and incredibly watery quite honestly I’d be surprised if any actual coffee was used, we watched the man make them and leave them by the machine for at least ten minutes before handing them to us and when we said they were cold we were asked “what do you expect? Do you want to burn your mouth?” The food was bland and overpriced. My cutlery was dirty and when I asked to have it changed I was treated as if I had caused a great amount of trouble for simply asking for my hygienic utensils. It took about 5 minutes to get the managers attention and when we asked for some assistance he was incredibly rude about it. The staff all share the same lack of a work ethic, they are incredibly rude and after the way the manager (I believe his name was Nico) spoke to us you can clearly see what sort of standard is being set when dealing with customers. I’d advise you not to set foot in this establishment if you want even a remotely positive experience. Utterly disappointed and will not be returning.

I went in a few days ago, having only been in once since the new management. I wish I hadn’t bothered. I was presented with a tatty, falling apart menu featuring nothing special. It’s clear the manager hasn’t bothered updating it anytime recently. It was more of a greasy spoon than a quaint village cafe as it’s made out to be. The inside decor was clearly thrown up with the contents of a charity shop, very tacky with little arrangement or style. The food was relatively good for what it was, but I would’ve got more sustenance and taste going to a McDonald’s. The man who I assume was the owner (as he was very firm and borderline rude with his staff) lacked friendliness and good customer service. Overall, I won’t be returning any time soon which is a shame as I was a regular a few years ago. I don’t understand how it’s still profitable-westbury has PLENTY of better cafes than this rundown excuse of a cafe. Don’t bother either.

This little gem was recommended to us and after visiting I know why. It’s a lovely cafe, the staff are helpful and friendly, the food is delicious and the prices are really reasonable. I will definitely return, it’s just a shame they don’t open on a Sunday.

I'm sorry to write a negative review of a local business during these challenging times. (I did email the café but never received a reply.) Ordered a baked potato with tuna mayo but received a baked potato with tuna but no mayo - or hardly any, you certainly couldn't see it. When I asked what had happened I was spoken to in an aggressive way and accused of not knowing what I was talking about. I'm not sure if it was the manager or the chef. Having had a lot of tuna mayo in my life I know that the mayo changes the colour, texture and flavour of the tuna. It was an appalling way to speak to a customer. Luckily there are several cafes in Westbury-on-Trym, so I won't ever have to go to this café again.

Simple food but well prepared and served. All day breakfast superb. Not expensive and a teally good menu to suit all tASTES.

I took an elderly, disabled lady here in a wheelchair and we had a great time. The service was really good and the staff were very helpful. There was plenty of seating outside, but we sat inside, near the toilet facilities. The food was lovely and plentiful. It has a relaxed atmosphere. There is ample parking nearby too which helps.

Three of us visited and all had the full English but because of the variety available we all had different options. The quality of the ingredients was excellent and well prepared by the chef, who I understand is gaining a good reputation amongst the regular customers. It's possible to mix and match from the menu to suit your taste. My friends and I have been back on different occasions and the standard continues to be high.

Me and my son had a takeaway bacon and egg sandwich, super fresh and my son said it was the best egg ever! Lovely friendly staff, clean environment and highly recommended.

El servicio perfecto y ambos disfrutamos mucho de nuestra comida, nos encantó todo en el plato y las porciones eran generosas con muchos lados sabrosos, incluida la col roja, que normalmente soy ambivalente, ¡pero realmente me encantó la tuya! We wanted to go somewhere that wasn’t owned by a chain in Westbury. I had been told that this was a great coffee shop. It was really good with great service and a variety of coffees and teas. The staff were ‘on the ball’ noticing my companion was having trouble connecting to the WiFi, which she help with straight away. Only downfall was a shortfall of cakes of which we are both partial to but we made do with what was available.

Loved the new decor in here - service and food were both top notch - loved the bubble and sqeak as part of the full english. Super coffee too. Definitely one to return to. Cheers guys!

Al entrar en la cafetería me recibió un personal amable y educado. Pedí el quiche casero que era excelente, buen tamaño de porción. También he tenido el desayuno de personas que hacen dieta, que es excelente para alguien que está a dieta, no fue grasiento y, en general, fue un desayuno realmente bueno. A lovely family run business, visited in the busy lunch time period where they were obviously run off their feet. Lots of local and regular clientele. Enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast, my dining partner ate the breakfast bap. both were done very nicely.

Myself and two other friends have breakfast here on Saturday mornings as often as we can do. The food, staff and surroundings are so very nice. Also, I wouldn't think twice about dropping in on my own at anytime, it is so welcoming.

I have used this restaurant regularly for several years, most recently just before Christmas and find it welcoming, comfortable, good quality and good value. It is a great place to stop for lunch or a break during shopping.

Nice little cafe but for the prices it's. Other worth it. I got 2 slices of bacon in a full Sandwich for £3. 2 slices does not count as a bacon Sandwich I'm sorry.

Dropped in here today for a sandwich and cuppa. Lovely friendly service, good choice for such a small establishment and polite service. We had a tuna sandwich and salmon sandwich with a pot of tea for two. £11. Slimming World meals including breakfast available.

I come to number 7 at least once a week, its a great friendly social cafe where the staff know almost everybody by name, I usually have a standard breakfast which comes with a tea or coffee before 11 am, with locally sourced meats, in my opinion it is the best breakfast for miles. The other day i thought i'd have a change from the breakfast as i was in at lunch time and went for the number 7 burger (bacon and cheese), again wonderful local burger loaded with proper cheddar cheese, i posted a photo it was so good!

Went for a coffee and cake earlier and it was all fine. Coffee looked weak but wasn't and was tasty. Asked for a cinnamon Danish pastry and as there wasn't one there ready the lady iced it specially. That was clearly freshly baked and tasty too.A little over £5 for two coffees and a Danish so not too badly priced.Will probably go back next time I am in the area as it is better than others in the locality.

I use this café regularly and have always found the staff very helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Today, because a customer inside found that the sun was dazzling him, lady who runs the family business made a huge effort to rearrange the furniture outside the café in order that she could erect an umbrella into one of the tables in order to shield him from the glare of the sun. I can honestly say that I have never had bad service, ever, and have used it for two years, at least once or twice a month. Everyone is so friendly and the food is lovely. The café is situated in a small pedestrianized area allowing for freedom of pedestrian movement and has an excellent atmosphere. They get very busy on Saturdays and your food can be somewhat delayed but they are always apologetic and do their utmost to be efficient and provide an excellent service. Their standard breakfast, as I have said, is filling and cooked exactly to my taste. The food is not re-heated, is locally sourced and as fresh as you can get, and always tastes lovely. There is nothing I dislike about Number 7 Kitchen as there is nothing to dislike! I sincerely hope that Number 7 Kitchen has a 5-star grading on your website.

Thankfully not a chain! Service is either very pleasant to sullen! Visited on a warm September day, so able to sit outside, as sitting inside would have been a "heavy atmosphere with strong cooking smells" (Needs better ventilation)

Always have the superb healthy allday breakfasts when visiting family in Bristol at this friendly cafe. occasionally during busy times there is a bit off a wait, but you would expect this as all food is cooked to order with the best of ingredients! Defiantly worth a visit!! Great food and very relaxed atmosphere.

Went here for a quick breakfast on my birthday and it was absolutely lovely. Fairly priced and even came with a free freshly ground coffee which was great. The staff were very polite and friendly.I will definitely revisit and recommend.

The title says it all really - the food was good when it eventually came but it took almost an hour to arrive, which is ridiculous especially for a cafe. And what's actually worse is that there was no warning when we ordered that they'd be a wait, let alone for an hour. We'd have gone somewhere else rather than waste our time here. Won't be going back for this reason, which is a shame as recently moved to the area.

I was looking for somewhere close to me for a decent breakfast. It is NOT here! I've been here 3 or 4 times over the last year and every time it gets worse. I've had cold tea, mouldy bread, plasticky bacon and eggshell in my scrambled egg. All on different occasions!! The last time I went here I also witnessed wrong/incomplete orders 4 times for other people, and as far as I could see there was nothing done to apologise or compensate for the mistakes.I am a big supporter of local businesses but I simply will not go here again, for anything.

We visited here on a Saturday lunchtime and it was pleasant. We had two lovely coffees and a dieters breakfast, which was so good to see on the menu. The bacon was trimmed of fat and cooked nicely, the mushrooms were fresh and tasted nice, the beans were good quality and there were two perfectly cooked poached eggs. The cafe staff were very friendly and I was touched to see how nice the staff were to an older lady, calling her by name and ensuring she was happy with her food and fetching her a drink. It's this kind of service that really makes a difference and it was warming to see this.

We found this hidden gem while shopping on a Saturday morning in Westbury-on-Trym. We ordered the large breakfast each, although at £8 it did cost a little more than we normally pay for a breakfast, but did include coffee.We did have to wait a little while, although the cafe was not busy, but when our breakfast arrived, it was well worth the money and the wait. Not only was the food well cooked, delicious and piping hot, but also looked appetising, with no greasy puddles, eggs cooked to perfection and I thoroughly enjoyed it.I think the main attractions for me about this delightful cafe, apart from the delicious food, are the lovely and friendly staff, and the clean and tidy, relaxed atmosphere.We will definitely become regular visitors, and I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Apparently, they also serve a delicious Sunday lunch! :D

We were down in Bristol visiting the grand children and went out for lunch, we walked down into the village of westbury on trym and went to this very popular cafe, it was great to see how busy they were that is always a good sign. There were four of us plus a little baby in a push chair. We had to wait a few minutes for a table but that was no problem. The staff were all very cheerful and happy they quickly cleared the table for us. We ordered to of the specials for £10 one sausage ,bubble and squeak and peas and a bacon sandwich. The special was cabotage pie ,peas and cabbage all beautifuly cooked and a substantial amount and piping hot just what you needed on a November day the child's meal was just the right size for a little girl and she loved it with her glass of milk. The bacon sandwich looked good too and soon disappeared all in all a great place to eat.
