Lovely bar opposite the beach with beautiful views of sea and sunsets. The food drink was delicious and more than reasonable pricing. Atmospheric and attention to detail is what this place is about perfect place to sit and enjoy yourself with a well crated playlist.

Really nice in there lovely decor and really nice in there. My friend and I was served by Levi who was lovely and offered excellent customer service and was really helpful answering any questions we had! Really impressed !!

Pretty disappointed by the food after reading positive reviews. No longer have a breakfast menu, just a series of muffins. Ordered a Halloumi 'Facon' and Avocado one - Came without the Avocado and incredibly dry without any sauce or moisture. The Hash brown were decent. Pretty basic brunch/food offering. Staff were accomodating and friendly - Its a nice venue that i'd stop by for a drink but really wouldnt come for the food.

The service was quite slow. Staff were friendly. Found the coffee to be very strong. Clean and toilets usable. Not a place we would return to due to coffee not to our taste.

Not worthy of any star ratings. Tried to order a drink from the cocktail menu on our table to be told by the young female (blue top) at the bar that it didn't exist and, upon pointing out it was on their list, that I didn't know what I was talking about. Staff training desperately needed, also a lesson in manners! We left as clearly this place doesn't care about its customers.

Amazing super friendly service and fun atmosphere. Food was exquisite and the Tommy's margarita is one of the best margaritas I have ever had! 😋 Prices very reasonable and you can sit outside right by the sea with good music having a great time

Good drinks turned sour by disappointing food. Ordered a chicken burger and beef burger. First round turned up missing the cheese & bacon from both. Sent back for the beef burger to be burnt but stone cold. Got given free onion rings that are just rings of oil. Asked for a refund which they did, but not much of apology and then forgot to take any of the food for about 30mins. Had to take the plates in ourselves due to the seagulls. Wouldn't be so harsh but the place isnt that busy for you to produce not great service. Chef is obviously more suited to cooking chips than anything else.

I don’t think I I will be going here again. Had the big breakfast the 2 sausages had been re-headed in a microwave and one tasted off, only had one bit of bacon and this was cold and been cocked in a dirty pan. had to sent back to get the other 2 which were half cooked.. We had wait for a good 50 mins and the were not even busy At a prime location and price of meal I expect better and there are two better place next door

This is the third time I have ordered their ‘freffles’ started with large portion - 2 waffles And on Sunday we were served one pathetic waffle - the person I was with ordered Halloumi instead of bacon as they don’t eat meat Guess what it turned up with meat Sent it back with mine to keep warm As I started eating I noticed waffle was burnt and then found a hair Absolutely disgusting Took it back for a replacement not even a sorry from the staff And the waffle was burnt again Little tip reach your staff to firstly understand hygiene, cook food without burning it and teach your front of house staff how to deal with complaints

Good food, lack of consideration to customers. On a Saturday lunch time they considered it a good idea to electric plane and sand a sticking door. No heads up, apology or complimentary drink. Not a regular thing of course, but does speak volumes about the place that it didn’t occur to them. People left early. Rude.

Really nice atmosphere beach bar, with really nice staff and some good music. Good choice of drinks and draught pints very good too. We were sat on a table between students on one side and surgeons on the other which speaks volumes for the setting, service and experience provided.

A warm welcome but a few issues: Well cooked food (great poached eggs) but with an item missing and served on very cold plates. Mimosa was orange juice with a teeny tiny measure of sparking wine. Not good value. Waiter cleared plates while I was still eating. Maybe a small gripe, but not necessary. Not keen on paying up front.

I just wanted a toasted bacon sandwich for takeaway, they asked me if it's OK a brioche and I said yes as soon as its toasted. When I opened the box it was really Cold no toasted and the bacon was burnt and cooked two days ago. I went back to work without lunch.

What a shambles, ordered 4 fish and chips and after delivering 2 fish amd chips they came back 5 minutes layer to say they had run out of fish and chips, had to go find out own knives and forks Then ordered 2 chefs breakfast which came with fried sliced only to arrive with toast instead. To say would never go there again, cow shed just 2 min walk so much better

I wanted to give five stars for everything! The food was surprisingly good and excellent value. The service was also very good, but in an attempt to make the place ‘modern/studenty’ it looked a bit uncared for. The cutlery was unclean and the tables sticky. However the standard of the food outweighed everything else.

I often order a vegetarian breakfast but find they can sometimes be a bit ‘dry’ - tasteless sausage etc. The veggie breakfast here was INCREDIBLE - one of the best breakfasts I’ve had … delicious sourdough bread, perfectly poached eggs (two - I wasn’t expecting that), delicious field mushroom, perfectly cooked halloumi (and lots of it), beans served separately (not a thing for me but I know lots of people who hate beans on their plate 🤷‍♀️). ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. There was sliced chilli and spring onion (I think?) on the eggs, but sliced big enough they could be removed if wanted. It was beautifully presented and full of flavour. Even the tomatoes were seasoned and had thyme (?) on them. Great flavours, great price and really nice coffee too. Definitely heading back!

The two of us had a burger and a Caesar salad, both were delicious and generous portions. Pleasant, polite, and efficient service. Lovely location sat in the sun on the seafront.

I had booked 24 for a breakfast after a Wedding the day before. I wanted to chenge the booking slightly. two phone calls and two emails were sent. None responded to so went in person to do it. The morning of the meal 10.00 am, there was one poor girl rushed off her feet doing multiple drinks orders with a queue several people long. The breakfast arrived fairly promptly. It was a dismal effort. All three Full English had dried up bacon, dried up mushrooms and overcooked hard fried eggs. The sausage was good though. At a £12.50 price tag it was so so disappointing. As far as I could see there were only six people eating breakfast in the restaurant, the rest having drinks. So chef under no pressure surely. I won't bother going again.

Cocktails were lovely and 2 for £13 between 4pm-7pm 😁 We didn't eat here so can't comment on the food.

Very friendly staff, very nice food but if sitting outside, be sure to eat everything on your plate otherwise there'll be a crafty seagull on the lookout for tasty morsels 😆

I attended with my vegan partner and orders the vegan chilli. They put meat in our vegan food, and we complained. The staff admitted fault and said sorry. It was just a horrible experience, and having bits of pork fat in our vegan chilli was not on. I couldn’t explain how upset we were. We were offered nothing in return or a refund. The staff made an effort to apologise and replace the order. In summary staff were great, but the experience was horrible and the food was terrible, and we ended up waiting 1 hour plus for chips in replacement for a full chilli mean. No consideration for religion and dietary requirement

12th July 2023. Lovely restaurant. We had the 24 Burger and Chicken Burger a diet coke and Latte. The burgers were well presented and very tasty. They came with skin on fries which were delicious and very light and crispy. The lady taking orders doubles as waitress too and was very polite and attentive. This was an impromptu visit but we'll definitely use again when next in the area.

Seafront bar/restaurant. Lots of seating options, good disabled facilities. Very friendly helpful staff, very good chef. Delicious food, great cocktails. Superb place to get together with friends

me & one of my good friends came in the other day, we were immediately greeted by there wonderful staff, Lizzy & Maisy. they gave us amazing service & amazing drinks. the food was also very good. both of them bith made sure multiple times that’s everything was okay. they had very good knowledge of what they were doing & making, which is always nice to see. will definitely be coming back.

Really lovely all day brunch, food came quickly with really good portions (smoked salmon and avocado) and well presented. Good vegetarian options Definitely recommend!

Visited here on Saturday with my elderly mum and partner. The food was fab, mum had fish and chips (no pictures) and chef even popped it on a plate rather than wooden board, breakfast was very tasty will return. Only reason for not giving 5 stars ⭐️ is the music just needs to go down a notch and the seating outside is all fixed benches not suitable for my mum 😕.

Had a light lunch with family. The bar / restaurant was not busy, but waited over one hour for our food, which when it arrived was desperately disappointing, not as described on the menu & quite pricey for the poor quality. Received a hollow apology, but no offer of a little gesture. Pity really, as it could be a great bar/restaurant.

My experience in number 24 was absolutely second to none, George and Roman were not only friendly welcoming and extremely professional and provided me with exceptional service, not my even my dog was left out as he got a doggy sausage on the house. Lemmy now says I have to go back and without such brilliant and accommodating service I don't think I would. Huge props to 24 and their fantastic team and understanding of the ever changing needs of dog owners in these current times.

Went here for brunch. Waited a little but was well worth it. Great portions and everything was delicious. Also loved the decor and vibe. Music in the background was great! Recommended!

Had a delicious lunch in the sunshine today, lovely service and really good prices. I chose the warm goats cheese and grilled fig salad. It had a delicious honey dressing and some really crisp, fresh walnuts. Highly recommended.

We ordered 5 separate breakfasts including 1 vegetarian (spent over £100 as a group). When the first breakfast came out, the vegetarian had meat sausages on it - waitress didn’t know the difference and minus the extra we paid for - hash browns, oh and fried eggs when we asked for poached all round. Sent it back. Another two vegetarian breakfasts came - not sure why as we only ordered one. I know right… But we did take the one we ordered, which had what was on the menu which is great - obviously. Had advised of allergy to garlic - garlic mushrooms were added to the plate. So why ask about allergies IF you don’t care for the answer? That is now two mishaps which could have ended in disaster IF we (the customer) didn’t check it. The other breakfasts came out - with vegetarian sausages and fried egg, hoping we wouldn’t notice. We did… then was advised they had run out of meat sausage and then swapped in the poached egg (which we asked for originally). Was offered an apology and manager agreed it was an embarrassment and a full refund as also we were 40mins in and still waiting on the coffees… Came to the refund once we had finished - manager informed us the owner has refused to offer a refund and for US to email the management inbox. We asked the manager if we can speak to who can authorise this - was told the owner has said they will not authorise the refund. So we were provided the wrong items from what was on the menu, offered a full refund as an apology - with us ending up leaving the premises annoyed and angry due to owners not allowing the full refund to take place, yet we didn’t get what we paid for (unfortunately you pay up front at this place… convenient that) Sounds like how you should treat your customers…? (That is sarcasm btw)

The breakfast was lovely, the poached eggs by I think Kerry were amazing. Also the service by Camille was excellent. But for heaven's sake turn the music down. It's Tuesday lunchtime. We couldnt hear ourselves think even outside.

I was withholding from writing a review, as some of my friends already have, but having read your response and lack of proper acknowledgement I will share the experience from my side too. Our 'party' of four was at your place on Sunday, 5th of March. We were the only table there ordering food (another table there has left shortly after we arrived). Both burgers were raw in the middle, there is no argument to that. Pink in the middle looks different and we wouldn't have questioned that. We've all worked at restaurants, some in fine dining and know what raw looks like. The only difference between the two burgers was that the first one to arrive was raw in the middle. The second one (which has been prepared after the first one was sent back) was, besides being raw, burned on both sides. Your explanation that the chef didn't know we were all part of one 'party' is just ridiculous. Having been the only 4 people there with 2 FOH staff chef must have known (the waiter spent quite some time there). Besides, we had chips which we ordered to come with mains arrive to the table about 15 mins before the second burned burger did. And yes, that was all ordered on one ticket. Your lack of acknowledgement and customer blaming is really shameful. I'd much rather see you hold your hand up and say sorry, we screwed up. Instead, you prefer to come up with some silly excuses and blame your mistake on us for ordering separately. Shame..

Whilst the venue is well decorated it is unfortunately very smokey from the kitchen. This left our coats etc stinking and the kids eyes stinging. The menu asks you to mention allergies, don't bother because they can't cater for it in any capacity. The staff seemed disinterested and distracted. Orders came out wrong. All in all a visit to forget. It's a shame as the food that did come out looked nice.

We’ve had very bad time at number 24. We were waiting over 30 minutes to get our food(no other customers inside). Burger was disgusting- Undercooked row meat. I will never come back. There are much better places to eat out in Worthing. Very disappointed.

If I could, I would give a zero!! Absolutely disgusting place, firstly it was like sitting in a freezer!! Myself and my friends decided to have a lunch as the place looked quite nice. We were the only table that they needed to serve! Waiter brought my burger really fast, I think 5 min after ordering, half way through eating the burger I’ve realised the meat was raw!! When I took my burger to show the waitress she wasn’t even sorry and she asked if I want another one but didn’t even offer a refund! My friends still didn’t get their food! They’ve waited about 40min!! When my friend got his burger the meat was RAW AGAIN!!! I’m pretty sure we heard microwave going just before the burger was served! The manager there didn’t even say sorry, just looked really angry when she needed to do our refunds!!! The only person who was nice and polite was the guy with black hair, you are too good to work there.

Music was great but the place was cold we kept our coats on , I gather its the price of fuel and energy. Roll on the summer. Nachos were amazing

We popped in here for hot drinks to pass the time before going to the Dome. All three of us ordered hot chocolates. They were unfortunately luke warm. We are not ones to complain so drank up quickly before they got any colder but in hindsight we should have maybe asked for them to be heated up. This was a chilly day but the only heating seemed to be a candle on each table. Using the toilets before we left was again disappointing. Loose seat, flush button missing and door handle missing.

Myself and 4 friends visited for the bottomless Christmas dinner on the 22nd December. Beautiful setting by candlelight. Main course Christmas dinner- yum! Beautifully presented and a large portion. Cheese plate- yum! Prosecco- tasty and we never ran dry over 1.5 hours. Service was great! Attentive and friendly. Ana was particularly fun!

Bought some tea. Despite it being mid afternoon no food was being served - odd. Barista brought tea and left on the bar. Left tea bag in the mugs. I don't like strong tea. No milk, spoon, or plate brought or bin to get the bag out. Left in for ages. Asked for a spoon and where could I put the tea bag. Passive aggressive barista said I could put it in the milk jug! But I like to take the bag out and then put the milk in but no - she couldn't be bothered to bring the things you usually have when you order tea. Things got awkward. My sister accused me of being rude. But I wasn't. I wanted a spoon, a plate and some milk and you don't ask for those things when you order tea. They come with the tea. Ended up chucking the bags into the unused milk and walked away. Never to return. Very strange.

Tables dirty outside and no atmosphere

Turned up to an evening out to meet a group of friends that had just been accused of drug taking because they had been using the toilet 'too often'?!!! My sister and I were then told when trying to order drinks that they couldn't serve us because of the group we were with, absolutely delusional. Obviously, we were upset and asked to speak to the manager who was disgusting and rude and asked us to leave... Based on what exactly?!! We then had scrawny security guards RUNNING down the road towards the bar at us 😂. The entire thing is an absolute joke. Then they radioed every bar under the pubwatch scheme with our descriptions so we were refused entry to everywhere. Again this is all because OF HOW OFTEN THE TOILET WAS USED. At a bar, where people are DRINKING. So unnecessary and ridiculous, you need to sort out your jobsworth bar staff.

The most disgusting service I have ever experienced. Ever. Out for some casual afternoon drinks with work colleagues. Not that it should make any difference (but as a note to those reading to give some idea of character) the majority of our party are NHS...

Went today for a lovely al fresco lunch. No service upon arrival. Waited a long time with staff in the main restaurant doing nothing. No table service as previously. Staff did not know the menu so could not answer easy questions. Ordered a salad, small...

Great service, good coffee and lovely spot. A nice relaxed place with a quality feel. My only niggle was the breakfast sausage...it was a 'chip shop' sausage. There are many good sausages out there these days so a duff snorker is a disappointment. Portion size...

First time in Worthing, Saturday 13th August.18.30 first stop Number24, ordered the cocktail of the day? informed they had run out of Martini rosso? had a couple of other drinks. returned to the bar to order more and some food from the menu that was sitting on the table? only to be told, we are not doing food. absolute joke? as the saying goes, "In all the bars in all the towns," we had to walk into this place. Never again.

First time on Tuesday 9Th August 2022-lovely drinks alfresco - patio heaters pretty accent lighting - comfortable furniture , clean toilets Happy staff! Definitely recommend

Stumbled across this bar sheltering from the rain. Nice cosy atmosphere and friendly staff with a good selection of drinks and snacks. Sat here listening to Dave Brubeck as I type this, would recommend.

We had the fish and chips. Both the fish and chips were really lovely. The only bit of constructive criticism I would give is that it would be better to serve the tartar sauce and mushy peas in separate contains, not everyone likes them. Just friendly advice. The fish was v fresh and the food wasn’t greasy. Overall we would come back. Thank you.

Ordered a Crispy BLT, took a bite to chewy fat from uncooked bacon so asked for it to be cooked more. It returned with half a sandwich missing and still not crispy at all. I decided to take it back to the counter where the chef said I eaten the other half (which I definitely hadn’t as it was uncooked). The chef insisted I eaten it believe me I could not have eaten that!! Then the manager appears and asked me to leave after him insisting I was wrong ….they are deluded and should listen to the customer instead of asking them to leave! My friend was still eating and we had a drink to finish at least the manager begrudgingly refunded my £7 but really needs a lesson in customer service! Will not recommend this place to anyone as you can’t tell them the truth about their food.

Nice place. The atmosphere was lovely, the food good and most of the staff were very pleasant. However, the let down was the toilets. 1st one- no lock, 2nd one OK, but wet floor and needed a bit of a clean, 3rd one no lighting and no window so unusable. Disappointing.

When in Worthing, or even in the outskirts, Number 24 is “A MUST” !! I just had the BEST fish & chips EVER and trust me, I’ve eaten it everywhere as it’s my favourite!! Beautiful fresh fish in lovely crispy batter with the best pea...

It's all very good but Im not sure about this cocktail stuff.Doing away with the ice cream bar is a mistake in the eyes of the town. Plus you want to get some staff in. They were struggling when I went in. You've still got problems I'm afraid. Since writing this my wife and father in law went in and received shocking service. Half an hour for a sausage sandwich? Rude reception from the staff when complaining, she doesn't want to go back again. But I don't understand old man Macari never had this issue and always made plenty in his day.
