Lovely staff, nice drinks, lovely sweet deserts, nice atmosphere.

I got the frappe this evening, the creams was tase horrible, I get coffee there usually, but every time I go there afternoon the cream is old they don’t change it from the morning, idk who are the stuff in there rn but it’s horrible

Atmosphere as you would expect for a chain. Service generally OK but can be slow. I'd like to see the toilets kept better.

We stopped off here to have a look at the shops.It was very cold, so we called in for a hot chocolate and sausage roll. It was very nice.

Well this place is happy to be rude to women, my wife works for a delivery platform and was disrespected after waiting 25 minutes for an order, after she asked the staff how much longer it would be, the salon employee says to her to leave the store and wait outside, tell me Costa, is this the image you can show your customers??? Also you on-line customers doesn’t matter ??

Always visit the broadwater branch as it’s always a lovely experience. The staff are always welcoming and engaging. Some of the best customer service you well ever receive! I was served by the store manager who even though looked very busy, took the time to ensure she gave excellent customer service herself. Very impressed and will definitely continue to visit in the future. 10/10 would recommend 😊

I regularly frequent Costa in Broadwater and feel I have to give a 5* review. Some reviewers are quick to give a negative review but not so quick to give a positive review. The staff including the Manager are super friendly, always offer great customer service with friendly smiles all round, even when they appear rushed off their feet at peak hours or understaffed. The atmosphere is always pleasant and my coffee is always served hot and to my liking each time. I hope the lovely staff including the Manager at Costa Broadwater get the recognition for their hard work and great customer service. I recommend Costa Broadwater, especially if you want a friendly hot cup of coffee.

I cannot even begin to describe how absolutely disgusting and dreadful this place is, the workers do not have the first clue on how to make even a simple coffee, putting words in your mouth of what you have ‘ordered’ and charging way beyond extra for things for you haven’t even asked for. The older larger worker is the rudest most miserable person I have ever come across. It’s almost guaranteed your drink will be made incorrectly, and you will be grunted at for raising any concerns. They have used the wrong milk even after expressing allergy concerns. The place is also grotty and filthy. Please avoid this place at all costs, I will hope it is shut down very soon.

Absolutely appalling service, staff are rude don't even welcome you when they serve you. Tables filthy dirty and this was at 7.30 in the morning. Coffee was lukewarm, and the toast well it wasn't toast just warm bread. The man that was working didn't greet anyone the whole time I was in there (I was sitting at the table opposite the till), all he does is grunt, no interaction with the customers whatsoever. Won't be going back here

It was very busy and the staff where more interested in clearing than serving customer therefore a large que formed and customers where getting frustrated in the delays

The most awful cheese and ham toastie I have ever had. Hardly any filling, cheap processed bread. Coffee was ok. Air con on far too high so not comfortable to sit in.

Nice coffee but I noticed one of the servers had poor customer service. He made me feel like an inconvenience for ordering, as if I was boring him or had said something insulting. Whe all I had done was order coffee.

Always noisy and usually quite full.Helpfull and cheery staff who give excellent service.

Service took way too long and the price was ridiculous.

Stopped off for a quick coffee, Cortado and a glass of milk. A few tables in the shop had trays on them. Also 3 out of the 4 tables outside needed clearing. As you can see from attached photo I sat outside and this needed clearing. I was here 15 min and they didn't get cleared in this time. Staff were friendly but possibly understaffed ( I only saw 2 of them) Coffee was made well yet the milk was disappointing as it was slightly warm where the jug had been sitting out of the fridge also only 2/3rd had been poured?? I would give them the benefit of doubt and come here again but only because they were friendly and polite.

Just want to a massive thank you to the store manager at this costa she is an amazing person inside and out and makes every visit so pleasurable and makes everyone feel included. 5 stars for her alone. Shame about the other managers and staff there as the store is no where near as good with out the store manager. When I came in for my take away drink recently the girl who served me claimed she wasn’t sure on how to make my drink as she said hasn’t been there long which I completely get every one starts somewhere but it was the young girl with curly hair came storming out from the back all pissed off in the face and wasn’t overly nice to her and when I left you could hear her saying not nice things to the other girl which isn’t very nice. It was enough to make me not want to come back in. Will be talking to the store manager about this when I see her next as I don’t agree that the other girl was so nasty and mean. GET RID OF THIS GIRL RIGHT AWAY!!

Whilst placing my order the service was really slow with no obvious reason why. When my mocha was made the cup was full and for no obvious reason the girl serving decided to top up my coffee. Second i moved my tray there was a river of coffee in my saucer. Such a mess. Also it was like a really strong hot chocolate. Inexperienced staff and not friendly. Won't be returning

Absolutely brilliant Costa, the store manager was so lovely and friendly to me and my family when we came in. The lady in front of me in the queue was deaf and the manager signed the whole conversation which is so lovely to see that she could help on an extra mile and she was happy help every exactly the same. The only thing I would say that upsets me is the lady behind the till with brown curly hair isn’t very nice and I think someone needs to have quiet word with him as I could hear talking one of the other girls not very nicely behind the counter which really isn’t professional and the young girl looked like she was going to cry which really isn’t good. Would come back but you would have to get rid of the lady with curly brown hair first.

My friend and I had coffee and cake today, we were greeted by the shop manageress Florence. She was so sweet In helping us choose our cakes she also explained all the coffee choices. She even carried our drinks tray over to where we were sitting. She’s an absolute star, wish she worked for me. She was kind to us oldies and really good with the children in the shop too. Lovely lady !! Thank you Florence.

I ordered a vegan toastie prior to this incident via just eat with no faults whatsoever, so ordered the exact same a couple of weeks later (a few days ago) and started eating it when to my absolute horror, realised it was a pork ham and cheese toastie. I have been vegan for 18 years (all my life) so for this to happen, I was absolutely gutted. I complained to just eat and Costa and have, as yet, received no apology or compensation. If you’re vegan/ Muslim or have allergies, I would seriously recommend avoiding Costa. If an employee can mistake a pork toastie for a vegan one the consequences of the same thing happening to someone with an allergy could be life threatening. Stay safe and avoid this place.

Coffee average, wait time was to long.

Just wanted to say how amazing the store manager at costa Broadwater is, she’s a true asset to your Costas. Shame about the rest of the team, they were very rude and unwelcoming especially the other lady with curly hair. The manager her self was so kind , talkative, always with a smile on her face and friendly and made my coconut vanilla latte just how I like it. All very COVID secure. Can’t wait to be able to sit in again. Me and my partner love to come and have lunch and coffee on our breaks. See you again soon

Now the worst Costa on the planet. Couple of the staff are constantly half asleep and since starting Uber Eats theynignore.you until online orders are complete. Normally a 12-15 min wait to place an order. Bad branch

This is a popular Costa with good space to meet CV19 rules and serving efficiently. Brownie with caramel very good and latte as good as always. Well done team and thank you for smiling through.

Very happy and excellent service. COVID-19 Procedures were 10 out of 10 Well done ! Felt so much friendlier and better organised that the local Starbucks. Will surely become a regular visitor

tables are filthy, not cleaned with disinfectant, cleaned with a dirty cloth. toilets are dirty Costa in West Worthing is also very dirty, toilets do not work!!!! Restaurnts should be closed down

Quick service and friendly staff Busy place.

It's a normal Costa. Can get busy after school drop off but apart from that is fine. All the standard Costa stuff included.

Decaf is supposed to taste same as non decaf if its done properly. It didnt.

Whenever you come to this costa, don't expect to find a table that is clean or free of dirty cups and plates. Service is always extra slow, today I have only seen 3 members of staff, a young lad polite but slow, older guy polite but slow and a young girl who doesn't look like she is even happy to be there and who is even slower.Place has gone downhill so much since opening

My wife called in for a coffee and hot chocolate. Nice friendly staff but the tray we served the drinks on was absolutely disgusting. This is unacceptable

Always a great customer experience here. Majority of the staff always take time to talk with my little boy (which is a massive bonus) I rarely have to tell them my order as they remember. All this means we'll keep coming back

OK the usual good quality place for a cuppa and relaxation.

I must admit I try to use independent businesses as much as possible but have used Costa in Broadwater several times. Really wanted to leave a review as the staff are LOVELY, always friendly and helpful. They make it a pleasure to eat and drink there, despite it being a chain it has the feel of an independent.

Was very busy when we visited but service was still really good.

Above average standard for Costa and other chain coffee shops, sometimes has a little queue and surprisingly warm inside.

I enjoyed having a break there. Sadly my coconut latte drink was cool. The assistant did not warm the glass before so it wasn't up to the usual standard. Also the assistant did not hand me back my card and change she put it on the tray. Service wasn't up to standard normally have. Think she was having an off day. She didn't even smile or give eye contact. Strange.

Great friendly staff. I had my stick and they were so helpful asking if I wanted my purchase carried to my car. They had run out of cream (on hot choc) and were so apologetic. When I explained it was for the homeless man, the manager said she would personally go out and apologise and take him coffee when she finished. They helped me choose some food for him and packaged it up in a little bag so I could easily carry it over for him. One thing I did notice which I havent in other Costa's is that there is a nice amount of space around the till and counter area, making it much easier if I was in my wheelchair. A lot of coffee shops have the seating crammed in and not a lot of room to move around, but this shop seemed to have plenty of room. I certainly will go back!!

Came in for a quick coffee with my fiancé and the staff could not be nicer! Anything we asked for they did with a smile :) Florence was our server and she was so lovely and attentive she really is an asset to the team. Everyone else was also smiley and helpful. Great customer service all round which brightened our day ☀️

This Costa recently had a Refurb and is now much cleaner, brighter and generally nice place to relax with a coffee (and cake!). Would get five star but the queue is often very long and very slow.

Such a fabulous establishment run by an exceptional lady Florence who not only takes care and pride for the place but to her customers also, she always remembers my name and all previous conversations we've had, it truly is a highlight to my Week knowing I'll be in a place with someone who truly cares for her customers. Clean and tidy but understaffed service area on my visit. One young person serving while other staff appeared less busy in the cafe so could've helped him. Despite this, he coped well.
