This has to be the best breakfast around locally. Coupled with the lovely members of staff the whole visit was a pleasant experience. Served by Keren who was a sheer delight and cooked by Jill who excelled in the quality of the food. Delivered by the equally delightful Jane. Lovely displays that always enchant and always nice and clean. There are many alternatives around here locally but Victoria at Featherstone is well worth a return visit. 10/10. Always just a great wholesome feel good factor experience. Can’t wait for Christmas!!!

Not a bad place to visit, but the garden centre prices are way above what the area expects. How long this business will last charging these prices remains to be seen. The food we saw was just average, with fish and chips costing a wallet thumping £14.

Ordered the fish goujon sandwiches , shouldn't have bothered. What came out was two battered pieces of fish on a piece of limp lettuce on a dry brioche bun , at least the few chips were ok. Coffee was nice. Not go again for anything to eat, very very poor for the price . Worst the food has ever been and we've been going since it opened.

As another review says the hot pork sandwich was very very poor. Pictures show 2 thick slices of pork and stuffing and apple sauce mounted on top so the bun wont close... in reality I got ONE thin piece of pork that covered about half the surface of the bun... small stuffing and hardly any apple sauce... bun closed easily. The gravy comes in a small plastic pot... not the bigger white ceramic pot in the picture... £8.00 I dont think so.

It’s a nice place to go whilst you’re browsing the garden centre but I wouldn’t come here often as it’s very expensive. My grandma has the loyalty card for the garden centre so gets a deal with the food in the cafe but for 2 jacket potatoes, a coffee and a bottle of juice it’s a lot of money. The meals are nice but the salad at the side of the jacket potatoes is always dressed in a sauce which is too strong for my liking and so it’s just a jacket potato with beans. There’s lots of seating areas inside and out but it’s not easy to find a table. They only have a few staff on so there’s always a queue at the till and the staff are quite miserable too. Overall it’s pricey but nice to have a bite to eat before or after a look round the centre

Visited yesterday with a friend for a late breakfast , we had a small breakfast each with a cappuccino and a tea, all hot all well cooked. The thing that let's this cafe down is the slow service at the counter and the fact that a couple of the female staff do not smile or engage with the customers at all ! The rest of the staff are lovely!

We have been going to this garden centre for many years and enjoying it, so it is with sadness that feel I have to do this uncomplimentary review. I went this morning first thing as a special treat to have breakfast as it was our anniversary. After a brief wander round the garden area we went to the cafe area. There was a lady stocking up the cakes and setting some tables. She looked straight at us and totally ignored us and carried on what she was doing. This rude behaviour carried on a number of times meanwhile the chef came out, looked at us stood waiting to be served and again completely ignored us, then would you believe it a third woman came from the back looked and ignored us. There was no acknowledgement from any, no smiling just bored dispondant faces.Well after 15 minutes of standing there we were so annoyed we just left. We were made to feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome!Spoilt morning! Very very unhappy customers! Unacceptable!!

Visited 2pm Sunday 30th June for the advertised Afternoon Tea. At a cost of £18.95 for 2, I expected an average experience, having had many afternoon teas varying from £8.95 per person to £33 per person. I would rank this number 4 for quality and the best in terms of value for money. A special mention to Jill who prepared the tea for us, and my particular thanks for the range of sandwiches, which excluded smoked salmon as requested. The Coronation Chicken was particularly tasty, as was the mini-dessert, Eton Mess. Being a coffee drinker, I would have liked a 2nd cup as we made our way through, or a cafetiere to provide the balance of fluid to food, to be fair I never asked if this was a possibility. Pain to book, have to do b y e-mail or call, other than that a very good experience, one I am sure will be repeated in future.

It was over two years since we last visited, last time we enjoyed our lunch. Not this time it was terrible ,my soup (only aired) came with what was described as a ciabatta on the menu. I had trouble finding the very small piece, it came with two butter packs, don't know why one was more than enough for what was provided. My wife's tuna & mayo sandwich was also poor it came with a salad (joke) a few scraps of Lettuce and a cherry tomato cut in half. Needless to say won't be going back, not paying for overpriced poor food.

Our party of four wanted a light lunch so chose soup (only one choice - carrot- available) It arrived and we looked for the advertised ciabatta bread accompaniment, but the three miserable triangles of the bread were hidden behind the small soup bowl ! The two butter packs were about the same size of the bread and half of one would have been all that was needed to spread on the bread served. Three people had this meal and each portion was identical. Even my 88yr old parents said there wasn’t enough to eat! What an insult to serve such niggardly portions. The fourth member of our party asked for a toasted teacake but was told ‘ not served after 12’ - why ever not?? So they only ordered a cup of tea.

Sat in the large cafe at Victoria Garden Centre feeling sorry for the venue, very popular venue but have just paid £12 for lunch time Cod and chips, which arrived as chips, peas and small portion of batter. The fish and chips at nearby Morrison’s at half the price would have been 100% better... sorry to say will not be coming back... well beyond could do better... stay clear

Title may be harsh but i think it somes it up. We couldnt even unwrap the food it was so wet and the fish just disintegrated into mush. Completely tasteless. Shame because portion size was spot on. A few teaspoons of scraps were thrown on at best and these were pale and again soggy. The chips were basically inedible with the amount of grease. They looked so under cooked i can safely say i have never had them so poor and i have experienced a few bad ones. The curry sauce was nothing to write home about either. Maybe the rest of the food give me this impression but i have been very very honest. The food was not placed in a carrier bag to sweat and we drove only for a few mins home. Tried others in the area and totally different experiences. Felt so bloated and greased up we managed about half before skipping the rest.

Sadly unable to fulfill my order after it was paid for. It would have been fish and chips but not available. As I was driving I also requested a coffee but none of that either.

Dirty bacon, slimy eggs, non-pork sausage and oily hash browns. Must I say anymore. Top 5 worst breakfasts ever. However, I suppose you get what you pay for as it was dirt cheap. Literal dirt.

Having been ripped off royally in Cornwall I was pleased to find a genuine meal deal. I’d prefer cod but the deal was haddock so haddock it was. The food was good, the fish was fresh and the chips were tasty. The bread came buttered. We got mushy peas on the side. The servers were friendly and the food was delivered promptly. They happily took credit card payments. The cafe is comfortable and the ambiance was pleasant.
