North End Cafe in St Edmundsbury

Ordered two Bacon and Egg sandwiches and two teas if there was a slice of bacon in each sandwich I would have been surprised and was burnt to a crisp and cold.I asked for one with a runny egg and one well done the runny egg was hard bread stale I am afraid not a good experience overpriced must be somewhere better in Bury

Friendly staff; very efficient; excellent range on offer and their bacon baps and tear really did hit the spot at a very good price too.

It’s ok certainly isn’t going to blow your socks off !!! Average food at best gets busy at times and waiting for your food to come after ordering can be a while.

Only a sandwich and a mug of tea but friendly staff who gave me a heads up about parking bay suspended. It really does make all the difference. Bacon butty was divine, thick soft white bread and excellent bacon in a cafe with a very good (5) hygiene rating.

Superb Service reliable staff and the food is amazing 👏 👌 🙌 Been eating here for over a year almost every day Never had a bad meal and the coffee is amazing Seats approx 54 plus outside area Management are friend knowledgeable and ultra helpful. They do home delivery too. ( bonus ) Very reasonably priced too.

Nice clean spacious cafe . Plenty of choices on menu- not all with chips for a change.+ Service was prompt and prices were very reasonable. Drinks and meals purchased were very good ,.

Wonderful service by a lovely lady, who convinced me to upgrade to their northend steak burger. 100% worth it! hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had!!

I go all the time and have many different things off the menu depending what i fancy at the time. Everything comes out looking EXACTLY like it does on the menu. The service is great, really well priced and they are just so friendly in there.

After several other locations this is where we meet every two weeks. The staff are always welcoming & there is a good selection of foods & drinks, especially teas. Food is basic but great value. We will continue to meeeet here.

clean and tidy,staff a bit iffy,one woman sits behind counter and doesnt move unless she has a customer,the chef looked clean and tidy with a cafe t shirt on,i ordered chips peas and a cornish pastie,the chips were the skinny little ones u get in McDonalds,not nice,no taste,i ate the pastie and peas,but left the chips,the tea was fine tho.

After working in Bury St Edmunds I used to pass this establishment usually on my way home from the pub, it looked exciting with its vast selection of breakfasts pictured on the window. Then came the day to try the Northend Cafe for my self, the order was taken and first impression were good because at least the cappuccino coffee was faultless but when the breakfast came I was so disappointed. The bacon had no taste, the egg was a poor size and similar in lacking taste and then the beans were just poor quality rubbish. I had to ask myself do these people who make these meals ever taste what they are dishing up because I very much doubt it. I left never to return.

Full of people but always a table free. Lots of help for us. Hubbie in a wheelchair. Doors opened for us. Table found. Food very nice not greasy at all. Good basic food, pleasantly served by cheerful waitresses. Lots of regulars. I know there are many fancy cafes and restaurants in Bury St Edmunds all good but this one was a lot cheaper and catered for us normal folk. No card payments. All CASH. It is also near the bus station. Waiting for the bus? While away the time with a cuppa.

Really good quality breakfast that does not make you bankrupt. Plenty of food and friendly staff. No free parking nearby

I go to this Coffee Shop most weeks. The Staff are lovely, especially Yellis ! She’s always smiling and happy ! The Food is cooked fresh and is very reasonably priced. Atmosphere is always great, and my friends and I love meeting here for a chat and a meal. It’s lovely and clean. Menu is varied and the restaurant is always busy at lunchtime. All the staff make you feel welcome and it’s lovely to be so well looked after.

The food here is good value and very good if your on a budget they serve all sorts of food from a typical English breakfast to a Sunday roast which is served daily. Well worth a visit.

Wonderful food served by friendly staff, Highly recommended for food, try the excellent fry up, do not miss this one.

Un poco de inspiración de la nuestra mientras compras en Bury cuando no quieren que se están timando por el caro restaurantes de cadena. Puedes conseguir todo aquí, desde una gran variedad de cosas para ir a tu guiso de ensaladas, sándwiches, cenas de tamaño y tarta/postre. Los precios son muy razonables. Altamente recomendado.

La comida aquí es innovadora, deliciosa y relación calidad-precio. Algunos de los comentarios aquí son simplemente increíbles. Plato de entrada, plato principal y postre por menos de 20 libras. . Creo que algunas personas quieren gratis. Encontramos el Café Rouge de nuevo después de varios años y hacedme caso, es volver a su mejor nivel.

I like the wide choice of food and the service is very good but i have noticed the portions have been reduced, such a shame because otherwise it is a great cafe.

Typical good cafe fare served quickly by pleasant staff. The location is just off the main shopping area and so is a bit more reasonably priced. Seems to be a constant stream of custom which is testament to what they're doing right.

This cafe is ok for a quick meal, we thought food ok but portions could have been a bit bigger! It was very clean and tidy and staff were pleasant.

Called in whilst in Bury St Edmunds and had a full English which was very nice. Staff very friendly and café clean and tidy.

A very varied menu.Salads,roasts,all day breakfasts and much more.All served with a smile in a clean and safe environment.Average price for two..with drinks..£11 or you could just stop for a coffee and pastry and spend half that.Right opposite the bus station if you keeping an eye on the clock..the service is always fast no matter how busy they are.

No parece mucho desde el exterior, nunca normalmente escoger un lugar como éste, ya que parece bastante cutre y sin duda una actualización/cambio de local pero fritos desayunos siempre han sido genial cuando mi novio y yo solía visitar después de pasar la noche fuera!

Went in for morning Tea, and a quick full english breakfast and found a pubic hair in my beans, The cafe lady was rude , accused me of wanting a free breakfast. Buy food from them at your own peril,

Un montón de menú a escoger. Un montón de espacio. poco ruidoso cuando nos fuimos. Ningún problema con la comida o el servicio. Pero hay que recordar que se trata de una cafetería. No hay restaurante. Así que puedes ir en ropa o trabajo explorases y no te sientes mal.

He estado allí en numerosas ocasiones y, sinceramente, no sé cómo la gente comer allí!
