North Camp Fish Bar in Rushmoor

Tried here for the first time tonight and it's by far the best chip shop around Aldershot/Farnborough. We ordered via Uber eats and we will 100% be having it from here again.

Ordered haddock and chips twice. Great food both my wife and I said we will 100% order from here again. Very fair pricing £19 inc delivery

I visited today my local chippy again and I would say the best chippy in Farnborough. The chicken is the best but they do nice Fish and Chips too. I never been disappointed in this chip shop. Thank you very much for the great food.

Was expecting a great meal from this place after seeing such great reviews about it, but was very disappointed. The fish was very greasy - you can see how much grease soaked through the paper in my image. The curry sauce was okay, but just had a cheap Chinese curry sauce taste to it and was very lumpy. The Gerkins were inedible, smelt off and had a very odd colour to them, I can’t quite believe those serving let these be sold, one look at them and anyone would know they were bad... why not these guys?? It’s a shame some people look at bad reviews and instantly assume they are deliberately and falsely posted in an attempt to ruin businesses. Take some constructive criticism and maybe try and improve based on them. If not, maybe you’re in the wrong business.

Had today Fish and Chips with whole family. Great and tasty also kids loved it. Great little shop this's my regular chippie and wouldn't go anywhere else.

This place always delivers in terms of clean tasty well presented food. We have used this Chippy for the last 2-3 years and the standards only get better. Unfortunately some people are out to destroy small businesses as per the latest poor review on the North Camp Fish Bars Trip Advisor. You should be ashamed of yourselves really. Well done guys. We will be back again at the weekend. Vik, Ju Sheila and the gang.

Tasted off, almost had a cheesy flavour. Very disappointed. Even the pickled gherkins looked unsellable?? Wasted good money on this.

Always excellent and the best fish and chips in Farnborough. No skin on the fish and a light and tasty batter. Loads of choice and great value. Highly recommended.

Huge portions , beautiful Chicken and a huge portion of chips , but as they are cooked in palm oil , you can microwave them the next day after keeping them in the fridge overnight.....just as good as fresh, try it ! Lovely people and a big old friendly staff. The couple work very hard and are lovely , go support them.

A proper chippy, great value for money and the food is amazing. Always 5* service from the staff, 100% recommend.

The food is excellent as is the service. The owner is quite a character and normally leaves me laughing. Importantly, great value with good portions of chips! Always important at a fish and chip shop

Don’t know what else to say other than what is in the title. Quality is great, portion sizes are generous, prices fair and the chap who owns it is a genuine star - really nice guy. Do stop here if you’re fancying a high quality meal that will fill your belly and not cost the earth!!

We couldn't be bothered to cook tonight so stopped in here on the way home from a busy day. What a find. So friendly and welcoming and the fish and chips were delicious. Soft and flaky fish cooked to order and not greasy at all. We are North Camp converts and will be back next time we're feeling like a naughty dinner!

Unlike some there is never loads of cooked items being kept warm under lights but majority is cooked to order so always hot and fresh. Lot on offer which isn’t your traditional fish and chip restaurant food, amazing spit roast chicken, southern fried chicken and ribs. Chips are great, just how I like them and you get loads of them. Can easily feed six or more with a couple of large portions. Always great friendly service and good prices too.

I bought today fresh onion rings, they're absolutely lovely. I coming tomorrow again i using this takeaway min 3 times a week and i never been disappointed. Also the Southern Fried Chicken is better than KFC.

Stopped by for sausage and chips for my granddaughter had been meaning to try out this fish and chip shop had been recommended by a friend whilst we were there commented on the southern fried chicken which looked delicious and the owner juri promptly gave me a piece to try free of charge it was delicious and tasted better than kfc the chips and sausage were freshly cooked great sized portion and lovely tasting chips would definitely recommend and go back each time we fancy fish and chips great menu and lots of home made things on menu juri what a friendly guy better than the other local chip takeaways in the area and great value for money comes highly recommended many thanks

On Saturday i went to the chip shop for fish and chips and the food been absolutely lovely. Since is it under new management i always received great food and service also the portions of the food are huge. Highly recommended if you looking for great takeaway.

This was a renowned take away that fell by the wayside and became a place to avoid at all costs. It recently came under new management and once again it ticks all the boxes. Excellent quality, portion size but above all value for money, Definitely the place to go now for fish and chips in the area.

Pleasantly surprised. Fast efficient service-food was nice and hot although the chips were a little frazzled. Will return to try out other menu items.

Visited for lunch today. The portion size was huge for what I ordered and the price was extremely reasonable. The food was cooked fresh while i waited. Very impressed and will definitely visit again.

Well what can I say? I'm as full as a Catholic school after having a chippy tea courtesy of Yuri. He provided enough food to feed an army. We had a mixture of things to eat, sausages,savaloy, chicken, fish cakes with chips. All prepared fresh. Absolutely faultless and he also does gravy. Result.

This shop was under new management with a 25% discount at the time so I thought id pop in. Uri was very friendly and offered me and my 1 year old some home made mushy peas to try (which were great by the way). I ordered the cod and the haddock.. both were a good size and quality. On the way out I dropped my wallet, this was quickly retrieved from a curious customer by Uri, after a bit of detective work he found my business card, he called me before I even knew it was gone. Much appreciated.

Fresh, tasty and succulent fish with chips to match. What more can you ask for? Polite and quick service. My favourite for those fish and chip cravings.

Everything is cooked fresh for you. It all tastes lovely and you are told how long the fish will take to cook when ordering.

Moved to the area, tried this chippy and was very happy with everything. First off the portion sizes are perfect. We had small cod and chips twice with a mushy peas and whilst I ate the lot, my wife struggled to finish her chips as there was so much (she is 7 months pregnant to be fair).

I wanted to like this ship, it certainly has that chip shop look and feel about it, but ultimately i can only give it a poor rating, because while the chips taste fine, you simply don't get enough, the portion size of them is jokingly small, and the saveloy's taste strange. I finished eating my chips and saveloy and still felt hungry to portion was so tiny, how does that work?!When i first ate the saveloy i couldn't put my finger on why it tasted strange, but when i finished and the taste settled, i came to the realisation that the saveloy's there are slightly spicy :/ I'm sorry, but saveloy's aren't suppose to be spicy, it's just wrong... I can't speak for the other foods there as i haven't tried them. I have been back since to see it it was a one off thing, both portion size and saveloy taste were both exactly the same as before, so i really can't recommend this shop and i won't be going back again.

Love this fish and chip shop the portions are huge the chips are lovely and crispy and the fish is cooked to perfection with a lovely golden brown batter it's always cooked fresh and it is very reasonably priced

Me dirigía a gran Fry, pero este atrajo mi atención. Muy discreto con un marido encantador y el equipo de mujer. Todo estaba preparado desde cero que conducen a esperar 10 minutos. Esto estaría bien si la comida era increíble. Nuestros chips estaban bien, curiosamente recocida. Nuestro cod no era tan bueno, la pasta y el pescado estaba cruda y el pescado era insípida. I would agree with the vast majority of comments regarding the North Camp Fish Bar. Really friendly service, often with banter with the assembled locals. The fish is good and the portions of chips are embarrassingly huge,

Best fish and chips in the area... And they do Spam Fritters! (Just ask for them). Food cooked to order so you know it's fresh.

Always fun to order here, usually people waiting and talking. God food to your choice and portions are generous.The chips we particularly like and prices are very keen.

Stopped off to pick up dinner here after not having been for two years. The fish was definitely NOT cod and the large portion of fish would be considered a regular portion in any other shop, small greasy chips as well. A real shame because it really used to be a great place for fish and chips. Looks like there has been a change of ownership.

Best local chippy in town, family run, excellent service, good quality, generous portions and all at a good price.What more can I say.My wife and I regularly have the pensioners Cod and chips having tried most others in town, this is the best.

The staff in here are lovely and their food is always nice without being greasy. They portion sizes are very generous as well.

The Northcamp fish bar is and has always been the best for fish a chips. The portions are a lot bigger and the staff are friendly. The one on lynchford road is served by snotty teenagers and you get a quarter of the food for your money!

Fantastic family run chip shop excellent value for money good sized portions. Will definately tell friends.

Visited this take away a few times. The opening hours aren't great as not open during day in the week just evenings. Food is really good and decent size portions. The couple who run it are really friendly and chat to every customer. Good genuine family business

Sunday night not many places open so ended up here, but....we will return the Cod and Chips were great. Very good.

The best fish and chip I have known and all freshly cooked. The owners cook and serve and treat everyone as a friend. Always feel welcome and always have plenty to eat. In the Farnborough/ North Camp area well worth popping in. You wont regret it.

All I can say is the food is very good. Freshly cooked if they do not have what you want. Good fish & chips are hard to come by.

Always going for the cod I found the fish a good size and the batter crispy and tasty, complimented by perfect chips, good so far from the sea!

Always hot and fresh and crispy. This was always my Mum's Friday treat, and I have to have a sausage while I'm waiting!

The chips are proper, big, crispy, lovely chips! The portions are huge! One small portion is ample for 2-3 people, seriously. Very friendly couple too. My only criticism is having to wait for chips sometimes..... I don't eat fish so I've usually got something ready/nearly ready when I go so it is a pain waiting but well worth the wait.
