Ignore all the bad comments on here from over a year ago. Under New Management and the food & staff are of the highest quality. From boycotting this shop I am now a regular to my waistlines detriment!!! It’s the little touches like adding lemon & tartare sauce without charge. Sometimes I have to wait here yes, but the food is cooked fresh & hot. Keep up the great work. Best Chippy in Aldershot imo.

Very fast delivery one of the quickest around, from order to the door in 15 mins. Awesome. food is always hot and massive portions, we have used the just eat ap and this fish shop a few times and always fast hot tasty food delivered quickly. love it.

First time user, asked for chips to be 'well done'....they were proper busy (Friday 7pm) but no problem. Best cod & chips since I was last at the seaside! Great service, and people queuing at the door, it's so popular. Deffo be back soon!

Oh dear! First visit (March 2019) since this came "under new management" and what a big disappointment. We ordered our usual (two skinless cod - so cooked fresh - and a large portion of chips) and were charged £12.30 (no price increase) but were not happy. The good news is that the fish was just as well-cooked and delicious as ever. The bad news is that each cod fillet was about half the size of what we used to get AND they were both served up, separately, in cardboard boxes. (Incidentally, given the portion size both pieces would have fit into one of these silly boxes.) We were also served our chips squeezed into another cardboard box, this time a pizza takeaway box. By the time we had got them home and managed to get them out of the box, we found the chips were pretty cold though, in fairness, the fish was still hot. It just amazes me that, at a time when most people are becoming environmentally aware and trying to cut down on useless, unwanted packaging, what was a perfectly good way of serving up fish and chips, in sturdy, sensible paper bags, has been ditched in favour of silly cardboard boxes that are not even fit for purpose! It also makes the shop look daft, with a "wall" of boxes awaiting use. More akin to an Amazon warehouse than the friendly, quality fish-and-chip shop it's been up to now. Maybe re-think your prices if you are cutting portion sizes? Definitely give patrons the option of more sensible packaging for fish and chips! What about ditching the boxes altogether for people prepared to bring in their own containers - much as people are ditching the single-use coffee cups and plastic water bottles?

This place has gone a long way in Fish and Chip Shop of the Year in days gone by and is still producing fabulous food at reasonable prices. If you ask for it they will take the time to cook skinless cod from scratch - only means a slight wait while it's prepared and cooked fresh to take-away. My wife and I love their skinless cod and our regular order is for "two skinless cod and a large portion of chips" which we share between us. I'm sure other items on the menu are just as great but we've never felt the need to vary from our favourite - it is, after all, the best and original fast-food.

In my opinion this place does the best chips in Aldershot and Farnham and I’ve tried most of them! My other half agrees too 😊

It is what it is. If you want a good size cod.your gonna pay for it. Just don't understand how they can justify such costing. Portions are regulated.Why bother.

Yo era un cliente muy regular (semanal), pero recientemente ya no izquierda Leanne el mismo. Pescado bien, pero tampoco demasiado cocido o patatas fritas sabor como si se han preparado mucho tiempo antes. Les dan la impresión de que el número de clientes ha dejado recientemente. El servicio siempre fue bueno.

Good sized portions and delicious. Try the curry sauce it is delightful. Staff are friendly and know what they are doing. Parking can be tricky but worth the effort.

He estado viniendo aquí durante años, no es mi más cercana tienda de pescado y chip, pero vale la pena el extra de 5 minutos en coche. No comer en un montón de tiendas, así que cuando lo hago es importante que es muy bueno. El bateador no es demasiado grasienta o pesada, pescado fresco y las patatas fritas no sólo tiene un sabor de aceite! Muy agradable.

Really disappointed in the portion size, could be a quality chippie but kids who work there don't really care. Shame as I live opposite and would have potentially used it a lot more than I will do in the future

Cuando finalmente nos sirve, nos gritó por el tío, que trabajando en la Freidoras . supongo que supone ser el gerente, que no podíamos haber chips como lo cierran a las 10:00 y como era casi 10 él no estaba dispuesto a cocinar más patatas fritas! We go there about once per quarter as a treat. Always good quality and freshly prepared. Portions are a bit mean, but that's the only criticism.

Not cheap but good quality fare We had not had a trip to the chippy for many years but were pleasantly surprised with what was provided

If you want small portions and expensive food then this is the place for you! The chips were greasy and the quality of the food was poor. Avoid

I have recently became a regular at sea fair chip shop and I love it. The food. The service. Is brilliant the best I've been to ...... But please a large chips should be a large chips but as for the food 100%

I was shocked at how small the portion was. I very nearly asked for my money back, and wish I had. Portion was about a quarter size from what is served by Chip-Stop, 4 Grosvenor Rd, Aldershot GU11 1DP

Service is usually good, although it would help at busy times if they had a little more food precooked, although you can't knock them for that, at least the food you get will be fresh.Sometimes their chips are the best I've eaten, but you just can't guarantee this every time, sometimes they can be some of the worst, under cooked. It really is a lottery.The portions of Chips are not generous in any way. a large is really a regular.

I'll keep this not too big ! A little like my large portion of chips ! If this is the best in the area I'd hate to try the other shops. I actually had to take a photo of the pathetic portion of chips I got and put it on my social media it was so funny ! Even if it had been a small portion I would have been gutted. Compared to my usual out of area fish and chip shop it's miles apart ! This shop is More expensive , terrible portions and not that delicious. Needs to step it up ! This was an experience from two weeks ago but what prompted me to write this is my other half has just returned from this shop as she was hungry and looking at the portion she got she's still going to be hungry when she's finished.

very disappointed had to wait in excess of 15 minutes, could have been longer(8pm close at 10pm) customer in front also had to wait 10 minutes for 3 portions of chips and a battered sausage. If we hadn't of paid I think he, myself and the 3 other customers would have walked, probably up to Kings.The cod portion was small and thin, the batter was like coral and fell off, don't think it was mixed up correctly by the cook. I had always been a fan of seafare in Aldershot, but I have a lot of choices apart from Kings, also Big Fry in North Camp both who have larger portions well cooked. The cook at the back was a lad who looked like he didn't want to be there. Normally one or two ladies cooking and normally superior cooking.

Always lovely cooked fish and tasty chips when I get them. They are hot and well wrapped up.My son in law always chooses this shop when he comes to stay.

Walked in and walked right back out again. The sight of the rather large man serving up the food and dripping sweat all over the chips really made my stomach turn.

Just ok........ not my fav fish and chips.... found the chips not cooked enough for my liking..... Staff was always happy... also do a few things for veggies, which helps

This is the best fish and chip shop I have seen in the area. Always pretty busy, and great lunch deal of sausage and chips for £2.60

Fish and chips was nice but for the money I got a small piece of fish and a tiny portion of chips. If I had spent the same at Kings I could have shared the meal between three of us.

Always get our fish and chips from here. Lovely fresh fish cooked to order and nice crispy batter. Highly recommend !

At Seafare fish and chips you get decent quality food that is for sure. The place looks very clean also. The only gripes are the tiny portion sizes when compared to most chip shops which is made worse by the fact that they charge more for the said smaller portions. All in all this place is ok - they need to give bigger portions though.

Our local chippy go there minimum of once a month, always good, hot and always fresh, they dont leave the fish for ages in the warmer like some do. Maybe a bit heavy on the batter but then some people love that. Can get quite busy at times in the evening so have a bit of patience.
