Just had a more than ample delivery of Cod and Cheesy Chips with a couple of sides. It was was piping hot, fresh and totally delicious. And to top it all, a nice, friendly delivery, as usual.

Just ordered delivery was very quick and lovely lady delivered it ..all in all 10 out of ten yummy cod and chips and curry sauce

Food tastes really good. The portion size is just enough. We usually order 2 large chips between 2 adults and 2 children, and that's enough to go with whatever main we have chosen that day. We will not go anywhere else for our fish and chips takeaway now. This is a cash only shop, but you will find a cash machine at sainsbury next door.

We had a delivery sorry but it was not up to the previous order we had for £40 expected better My piece of fish was non existent almost fortunately a friend shared hers with me . My husband had a pea frittet half of it was missing and they have definitely shrunk 4 customer lost

Purchase was on Saturday, January 13th just after 5pm. The fish was grey and strong tasting, assume it wasn't fresh. Didn't taste like cod anyway. This used to be very good, but the quality has been very inconsistent of late. Sorry to say we wont go there again.

Their standard cod is absolutely tiny - it looks like a kid’s portion. Unless you have the appetite of a five year old it won’t fill you up. Although small it was decent quality and freshly cooked to order. Their regular portion of chips is closer to an adult size and although not the freshest out of the fryer on my visit at least were not soggy or overly greasy. Cod, chips and mushy peas cost £9.20 (cash only) and is cheap enough but if I were to visit there again I would have to go for the more expensive large instead. Not as good value or quality as the nearby Sizzling Wok or Oh My Cod so I would recommend going to one of those instead.

I came to this place a month ago or so to get some chips. The service was quick and simple, the staff were friendly, the chips were amazing.

Best piece of fish I've had in ages. Freshly cooked in a few minutes, perfect crispy batter, fresh as could be. Lemon wedge and tartare sauce too. Top drawer.

Ordered fish and chips this evening 3/6/22 walk in and takeaway. Gotta say I’ve been using this shop for some years and I was dissatisfied with the quality of the product. Not sure what is going on but I may give the shop a miss for a while, it’s a shame as in the past it’s been great.

Angry staff behind the counter, slamming phones down and banging utensils because the bloke responsible for the chips was late back from his break. No thought for the customers waiting patiently in the shop having to listen to this. Chips were basically uncooked; completely white and tasted of raw potato. Dreadful.

Ordered through JustEat and receivedy order within 10 mins.....that must be a new record...food was delicious so have to get 5stars.

Chips were ok shame they never added salt and vinegar as requested , mushy peas gravy and fish cakes inedible. Disappointing

Average food and service as expected... Bigger issues DO NOT accept card payment BUT have over the top Corona measures in place like barriers and restricted customers in shop. I also was asked to wait outside an empty shop for my order whilst inside 4 members of staff had no masks etc... all double standards... last time we use this store.

Poor quality, barely warm food that took over an hour to be delivered. Phoned up twice to be told it was on it’s way, still took 20 mins to arrive when I live 5 minutes from the shop.

The delivery was a little long,50mins n me chips was a tad cold buuut all n all the packaging was kushty in a lil box n not a tone of paper, the haddock was nice n crispy and very tasty, I asked for crunchy onion rings and they was very nice n crunchy, I'd happily get from here agien just might collect next time 😉

Ordered for takeaway. Extremely late and cold, and the delivery driver was constantly coughing, whilst not adhering to contact-free guidelines. Had to bin the whole meal to be safe. Definitely avoid!

Food over 20 minutes late lukewarm and the chips were awful just little bits and hard not impressed at all had fish and chips from them lots of times first time ever that I've not enjoyed the food

brugers are badly made no effort so plain and no taste and its £3.50 for one burger so ridiculous pricing defo not worth it. i reccomend macdonalds there burgers are so good and only 99p better then this one

Order from here all the time and usually it's amazing! The lady who usually delivers to us is lovely too. However we ordered food last night as a treat and the food turned up 25mins late. Food was cold and somehow my drink was warm. I could've looked past all of that if the man who brought the food hadn't decided to shout at me because obviously it's MY fault that HE couldn't find my house. Our number is on the order for a reason. He then gave me the wrong order and I had to ask for the correct one. Incredibly rude man has put me off ordering again.

Best fish and chips I have had in a long while.

Great fish and chips, 1 star down because when we just ordered on deliveroo it came without the house tartar sauce that was meant to be included. We love our tartar, so it was a bit of a disappointment.

I have eaten here many times over the last year, and it's never failed to surprise me how incredible it is, always great service carried out with a smile, and a great taste after. Will always recommend to a friend or to family, great food for all ages and easy to find, their deliver6 team are amazing as well

What amazing staff. I popped in to get my son sausage and chips but their card machine was not working. My son is severely autistic with very challenging behaviour and would of been very anxious, cross and not have understood if I returned to the car empty handed. They gave me the sausage and chips for him. I then went to the cash point after to get their money. Btw, he ate them all, as he always does x thank you

Ignore all the bad comments on here from over a year ago. Under New Management and the food & staff are of the highest quality. From boycotting this shop I am now a regular to my waistlines detriment!!! It’s the little touches like adding lemon & tartare sauce without charge. Sometimes I have to wait here yes, but the food is cooked fresh & hot. Keep up the great work. Best Chippy in Aldershot imo.

Very fast delivery one of the quickest around, from order to the door in 15 mins. Awesome. food is always hot and massive portions, we have used the just eat ap and this fish shop a few times and always fast hot tasty food delivered quickly. love it.

First time user, asked for chips to be 'well done'....they were proper busy (Friday 7pm) but no problem. Best cod & chips since I was last at the seaside! Great service, and people queuing at the door, it's so popular. Deffo be back soon!

Oh dear! First visit (March 2019) since this came "under new management" and what a big disappointment. We ordered our usual (two skinless cod - so cooked fresh - and a large portion of chips) and were charged £12.30 (no price increase) but were not happy. The good news is that the fish was just as well-cooked and delicious as ever. The bad news is that each cod fillet was about half the size of what we used to get AND they were both served up, separately, in cardboard boxes. (Incidentally, given the portion size both pieces would have fit into one of these silly boxes.) We were also served our chips squeezed into another cardboard box, this time a pizza takeaway box. By the time we had got them home and managed to get them out of the box, we found the chips were pretty cold though, in fairness, the fish was still hot. It just amazes me that, at a time when most people are becoming environmentally aware and trying to cut down on useless, unwanted packaging, what was a perfectly good way of serving up fish and chips, in sturdy, sensible paper bags, has been ditched in favour of silly cardboard boxes that are not even fit for purpose! It also makes the shop look daft, with a "wall" of boxes awaiting use. More akin to an Amazon warehouse than the friendly, quality fish-and-chip shop it's been up to now. Maybe re-think your prices if you are cutting portion sizes? Definitely give patrons the option of more sensible packaging for fish and chips! What about ditching the boxes altogether for people prepared to bring in their own containers - much as people are ditching the single-use coffee cups and plastic water bottles?

It's usually pretty good but can be hit and miss on quality.

This place has gone a long way in Fish and Chip Shop of the Year in days gone by and is still producing fabulous food at reasonable prices. If you ask for it they will take the time to cook skinless cod from scratch - only means a slight wait while it's prepared and cooked fresh to take-away. My wife and I love their skinless cod and our regular order is for "two skinless cod and a large portion of chips" which we share between us. I'm sure other items on the menu are just as great but we've never felt the need to vary from our favourite - it is, after all, the best and original fast-food.

Pescado bien, pero tampoco demasiado cocido o patatas fritas sabor como si se han preparado mucho tiempo antes. Les dan la impresión de que el número de clientes ha dejado recientemente. Good sized portions and delicious. Try the curry sauce it is delightful. Staff are friendly and know what they are doing. Parking can be tricky but worth the effort.

We go there about once per quarter as a treat. Always good quality and freshly prepared. Portions are a bit mean, but that's the only criticism.

I have recently became a regular at sea fair chip shop and I love it. The food. The service. Is brilliant the best I've been to ...... But please a large chips should be a large chips but as for the food 100%

I was shocked at how small the portion was. I very nearly asked for my money back, and wish I had. Portion was about a quarter size from what is served by Chip-Stop, 4 Grosvenor Rd, Aldershot GU11 1DP

Service is usually good, although it would help at busy times if they had a little more food precooked, although you can't knock them for that, at least the food you get will be fresh.Sometimes their chips are the best I've eaten, but you just can't guarantee this every time, sometimes they can be some of the worst, under cooked. It really is a lottery.The portions of Chips are not generous in any way. a large is really a regular.

I'll keep this not too big ! A little like my large portion of chips ! If this is the best in the area I'd hate to try the other shops. I actually had to take a photo of the pathetic portion of chips I got and put it on my social media it was so funny ! Even if it had been a small portion I would have been gutted. Compared to my usual out of area fish and chip shop it's miles apart ! This shop is More expensive , terrible portions and not that delicious. Needs to step it up ! This was an experience from two weeks ago but what prompted me to write this is my other half has just returned from this shop as she was hungry and looking at the portion she got she's still going to be hungry when she's finished.
