Waited an age for average food to be served finally by a young lady that was more interested in her phone than serving even left my food wrapped to answer a text rather than hand me my food. Won't be returning.

Still the best fish and chip shop in Farnborough. The best chips (nice and crisp), nice crisp batter on the fish, not greasy. Decent size portions and good value. Only complaint is that they no longer sell either southern fried chicken or the half chicken portions. It’s be good to see these back on the menu.

Tried here for the first time tonight and it's by far the best chip shop around Aldershot/Farnborough. We ordered via Uber eats and we will 100% be having it from here again.

Just got a meal from here and what a disappointment the chips cost £2.60 and the portion size was pathetic definitely not using this place again such a shame it use to be a great place with decent portions but apparently they would rather be stingey and lose customers

Great portion sizes. Nice cod (not reformed) and thick none greasy chips. New people running it are still friendly. Fish is cooked fresh so that can add a little wait but it is worth it.

25 minutes wait for 2 x chips 1 x sausage 7 nuggets.... certainly wasn't because they were fresh - got them home and literally so hard I couldn't eat them as I didn't want to lose my fillings! Never again

I'm sorry to say I was very disappointed with a minced beef pie and chips I bought this evening. The pie was so hard and overcooked, there was no gravy left in the pie. Fresh chips were cooked but mixed in with the old ones that had obviously been sitting there for a period of time. All in all, not worth the £8.10 I paid.

Their fish and chips is in my top 5 best fish and chips I have ever eaten. The fish was so fresh, not frozen. The batter was thin and crispy. Everything is made fresh for each customer. I was so pleasantly surprised. I couldn’t recommend the place more if I tried!

We ordered from your store this evening and my husband ordered a fish meal, the fish itself was swimming in grease, to press down on it on the fork the grease was literally running out of it, he peeled as batter off as he could and ate what he could, it cost him £7.. he's spent the last hour violently being sick and feeling so unbelievably nauseas it's crazy. There has got to be much better standards that your food leaves your shop from because quite frankly it was and is disgusting.

This was awful , nearly every chip had a huge black eyes in them and spam fritter was like a sheet of paper Chips were rubbish had no taste and some were green i wont be returning

Very disappointed. This shop has changed hands and the difference is noticed. Firstly, they allowed an older couple to stay in the shop while everyone else ordered then waited outside. They then handed a sausage to the male, who then pulled his mask down and ate the sausage while leaning on the counter. At times he was also talking. All this while preparing food nearby. I should have asked for a fresh batch. When I got home the fish batter was quite rubbery and tasted as if it had been on the hot plate for a while. The portion of chips was also very minimal compared to what it used to be like. Also I noticed that my order was ready fairly quickly so know that it wasn't freshly cooked. I will not be visiting again.

I visited today my local chippy again and I would say the best chippy in Farnborough. The chicken is the best but they do nice Fish and Chips too. I never been disappointed in this chip shop. Thank you very much for the great food.

I usaly can not fault what i try but was disopinted with my chicken just being warmed up in a microwave i was told you have to ask for it to be fryed i would have thought that would have been done without having to ask as being heated in a microwave leaves it slimey and for me that is not good .perhaps asking giving a option would have been a good thing .

Always good tasty food. Very clean. They keep very little food on the hot plate as a result some times service is a little slow but did always freshly cooked

Wow, didn’t even know this place was here! Googled chip shops as the queue at one was silly. I’m glad I did as the fish and chips were the best I’ve had for ages. Cooked to order, crispy batter and huge portion of chips. It was all topped off by very friendly staff. I will be back soon!

The fish and chips are spot on, the fish comes with the skin on, very tasty, the chips are plentiful. Definitely filled me up.

Was expecting a great meal from this place after seeing such great reviews about it, but was very disappointed. The fish was very greasy - you can see how much grease soaked through the paper in my image. The curry sauce was okay, but just had a cheap Chinese curry sauce taste to it and was very lumpy. The Gerkins were inedible, smelt off and had a very odd colour to them, I can’t quite believe those serving let these be sold, one look at them and anyone would know they were bad... why not these guys?? It’s a shame some people look at bad reviews and instantly assume they are deliberately and falsely posted in an attempt to ruin businesses. Take some constructive criticism and maybe try and improve based on them. If not, maybe you’re in the wrong business.

This place always delivers in terms of clean tasty well presented food. We have used this Chippy for the last 2-3 years and the standards only get better. Unfortunately some people are out to destroy small businesses as per the latest poor review on the North Camp Fish Bars Trip Advisor. You should be ashamed of yourselves really. Well done guys. We will be back again at the weekend. Vik, Ju Sheila and the gang.

Had today Fish and Chips with whole family. Great and tasty also kids loved it. Great little shop this's my regular chippie and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Tasted off, almost had a cheesy flavour. Very disappointed. Even the pickled gherkins looked unsellable?? Wasted good money on this.

Huge portions , beautiful Chicken and a huge portion of chips , but as they are cooked in palm oil , you can microwave them the next day after keeping them in the fridge overnight.....just as good as fresh, try it ! Lovely people and a big old friendly staff. The couple work very hard and are lovely , go support them.

I use this place often and theres a reason I keep coming back! The pricing us very fair! The portions sizes a great! And the services you get it's the truest meaning of your local fish and chip shop. I've used one down the road before and felt ripped off whilst being ignored the whole time, but this place they make you feel appreciated

Excellent chippy. The chap happily cooked up a fresh batch of chips for us, even though it was 20 mins before closing time. The pies were excellent: crisp pastry all round (no soggy bottom half) and lots of filling. Everything was freshly cooked and piping hot. Best chips we've had in a while. Highly recommend.

I've seen bigger goldfishes. Cod was tiny!! Will stick to Kings in Aldershot. There you get what you pay for and the batter is crisp and not soggy.

Very friendly, fish freshly cooked and generous portions. Best I have had in Farnborough so far. My 5 stars are for Market Fish bar in Stamford and a number of others in Grimsby and Cleethorpes.

Friendly service which then if it's busy turns it into a nice atmosphere the gentleman behind that served us was great made sure everything was as we wanted perfect and the food well not even my 2 teenage boys complained so that has to say it all pleased even tho there's new faces behind the counter the freindlieness atmosphere is still around brill food brill service

Our tennis club was putting on a social function which included a fish and chip supper. I rang a few fish and chip shops in the local area but after talking to Jury and having seen the excellent reviews I decided to place our large order with him. I was not disappointed. I placed an order of 60 meals 46 of those being fish and chips. My order over the week kept changing as I had more people attending the event but Jury was so understanding, very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent, large portions and the meals were all hot and we had a lot of compliments on the night with many enquiring which fish shop I had used, so I am sure you will be getting some new customers Jury. I would highly recommend.
