Nord in Harrogate

This welcoming coffee shop has become a regular stop off for a chat and a snack. The team are friendly, service, food and coffee all really good! It’s become a great little hub for the local community too. Definitely recommend a visit.

Been here twice in last 2 weeks after 2 years of avoiding Nord as then the coffee, service & food so poor. A complete turnaround with new ownership now. Excellent fresh sandwiches- great coffee & tea. It’s good value for money. Staff are friendly & welcoming. Will be regular cafe for us.

My lovely regular cosy cafe, this place really has it all if you want delicious coffee, yummy food and the cakes are delicious. I stop by here 3/4 times a week with my dogs and i am always greeted with lovely smiles and the staff treat me so well. Couldn’t recommend it more- a special mention to Beverly who is THE best barista in town!

5 Stars. Great Coffee and Quick service, Would definitely recommend if stopping by. Also it has amazing hot chocolate and it is dog friendly with free dog treats. It has outside seating area on the front of the cafe and in the back. Devoured an amazing latte.

This is a lovely cafe with great service and lovely food and beverages, the staff were especially helpful and knowledgeable about the drinks and food they serve, i would like to give extra thanks to Issac who had a great attitude and was very friendly towards me and my friend. I would very much recommend this place and will be back.

We waited a long time for our food in a half empty cafe. The soup was served stone cold. They did microwave it for us after that. It was very spicy, which we did not expect. There was no mention of spice in the description. Very little bread with it. At least it was cheap.

Visiting the area and wanted a light lunch. I had a Croque Madam, it was delicious, my friend had a Pannini which she thoroughly enjoyed. Tea and coffee hot and enough for neatly 2 cups. This cafe is small and accepts dogs, the staff were friendly. We would go again and definitely recommend a visit.

We usually stop here for breakfast, coffee and cake. Great coffee and the best bacon sandwiches! Highly recommend, a little gem in Harrogate.

I had a hot chocolate and a fully loaded tostie and it was amazing will definitely go there again. The workers were very polite and nice.

We visit here most mornings with our dog for our morning fix of coffee and pastries. The staff are always very pleasant and welcoming. Our old Labrador is always welcome and enjoys his dog treat supplied by the cafe. It’s a lovely friendly local cafe. The coffee is great and a lovely start to our day. We should all support our local independent businesses especially when they are as good as this one.

Don't waste your time. My wife visited with an out of town friend with our dog (a puppy) who was adjusting to the environment and settling down (granted with a few barks while she settled). The chef decided to walk out of the kitchen and say "Will you just shush?!" which then made her feel very uncomfortable and they decided to leave. For what is supposed to be a dog friendly cafe, it couldn't have been further from one. What makes things worse is that my wife's friend is a vegetarian and the sandwich she ordered had meat in it! I have had another bad experience recently too where a family of 2 Grandparents and three kids all came in 15 minutes before their advertised closing time, looking for a quick hot chocolate for the kids and coffee's for the adults. They were told they couldn't be served and turned away! What kind of business is this?! The business looks like it's failing anyway to be honest. Random opening times, closing when they shouldn't be, selling multi-packs of cans separately etc. My advice is to take your business somewhere where it will actually be appreciated. Will be a better day for everyone when someone takes over this place.

Really lovely little cafe, great for breakfast. Nice atmosphere and the service was friendly and efficient. The full English was superb and the sausages and bacon seemed great quality.

This cafe is a great place to stop for breakfast. We called here today (13th June) and were served quickly with coffee, cold water, and a bacon sandwich and a sausage sandwich. They were good quality and full of flavour. I would go there again. The waitress and the cook were very friendly and helpful.

Im a regular at Nord and it never fails to dissapoint with the new management you can tell they really care and are trying to make it a nice environment to enjoy with friends and family, the staff are absolutely lovely and when you get to know them they are amazing people ! This place is one of my favourites

Passing through Harrogate and walking up Harlow hill I decided to give this place a go as had chairs on the outside and looked fairly welcoming, I wasn’t greeted at the door however I can look over this as they were very busy, when the staff did come to see me they were delightful, very talkative and prepared me and amazing flat white! Fairly cheap for the price and accommodation so I highly recommend if you decide to give it a go, will definitely be coming back to try the food

What an amazing find!, passing through Harrogate and needed a coffee and was pleasantly surprised with this gem of a spot. A beautiful coffee aroma and welcoming environment, the staff were absolutely lovely and they catered to all mine and my dogs needs , not too expensive for the Amazing quality of coffee and food , I highly recommended

Huge disappointment: had to ask for table to be cleaned, coffee was weak and spilled by waitress as she delivered it (not on a tray and without a saucer). When asked for a saucer a gormless young man produced a dirty one! Eventually I was offered a refund and a fresh coffee Sadly my review is not untypical and this café will fail due principally to poor management with a lack of training and basic food hygiene standards.

Disappointing visit. No soup on menu, no sparkling water, served 2 brownies for 2 people on 1 plate that was chipped with no napkin. Sandwiches advertised as coming with crisps and salad but showed up with neither. Coffee is good but basics (including stock levels) need attention if this place is to survive.

Staff ignored us on arrival as they were too busy chatting amongst themselves. Very limited menu, the place doesn’t have much of a vibe. Don’t think staff have had any training as our coffees weren’t good. It’s just a matter of time til this place...

One of the best cafes in Harrogate. Owners are lovely and the staff are very welcoming. Really good homemade cakes and the donuts from Project D are incredible. The interiors take this cafe to a different level. Keep up the good work!

Really nice little coffee shop with a Scandi vibe. The coffee was great. We had bacon sandwiches which were very good too. Pastries and cakes looked tasty but we didn’t try them this time. We will be back though.
