The smell in the restraunt is horrible it smells of old dogs not very nice The good hygiene is poor the staff where using there hands to serve the food gross However it is very nice good and good prices for amount you get

Issues with payment on website when ordering so called the phone number listed. Helpful lady but at a call centre not noodle king in ware. Eventually someone called us back and the payment was made. Deliver driver called to clarify delivery address and an hour later he arrived, apologising that he had been called back to the shop. He asked for payment which had already been made. He accepted proof of payment shown on our mobile banking app. Food was so cold on arrival that it had to be reheated. All in all a woeful experience. Won’t order again from Noodle King.

My Mrs and I ordered our food at 6:20 after three hours later, realising he’s definitely not coming and after calling three times and had no call back, I drove down there to find that my food still hadn’t been cooked and was just cooking it as I got there. I had to take my food which we also paid for delivery and they didn’t offer any refund whatsoever. Shocking

The food arrived two hours late, at 2am. At this point I had already gone home and gone to bed. I went back to my friends flat to pick up the food in the morning. What a mistake that was. The quality of the noodles was indescribably poor and they were quite frankly inedible. The noodles were literally instant noodles covered in a greasy, overly spicy oil. This cost me £8. I'd have been better off tossing that money down the drain. This is without doubt the worst restaurant experience I have had in my entire life.

Ordered x 2 King prawn noodle from restaurant and what I got was far from that! To add to this the food was tasteless. A call was made to them for refund but staff were rude dropping the phone each time a request was made to speak to Manager. Ended up having to walk in and hand the food over to them. The staff still refused to give refund. So I had no choice but to leave restaurant without refund having left the poor quality and tasteless food with them. They refused me a refund of x 2 lots of £10.95. I would not recommend this restaurant. The food they supplied did not even fill the container the served in. See pic no king prawn in sight and container virtually half full. I could not eat this tasteless food!!

The food came, the chips were soggy and completely unseasoned and tasteless. The noodles were completely identical to noodles from a packet you can get in the supermarket for 10p. The rice had no taste at all. We rang the restaurant to ask what on earth was going on and they just set the phone down on the side and stopped answering us. We could hear so many other people complaining on other calls. The man was kicking off at them all. I am so shocked and confused about what on earth I have just paid for? In summary don’t waste your money

I worked for 12years in differents restaurants, i can say this is the most horrible service, place and costume service that i ever had.. They should close down!!!

I ordered here meal for my family and only half of food arrived! When i called up the restaurant , gentlemen even didn't let me to finish to talk , shouted at me, he was very rude. I didn't hear any apologies. When I asked to return money for undelivered items he laughed and hang up on me. Is it thats how you should deal with customer service??? You can loose business like that, especially at these situation around!

I just cant believe it... Have ordered the food never received it and never got my refund feel like I have been robbed... The dudes name is hadid (probably fake) was so rude it is just ridiculous. Guys seriously if you don't want to get robbed just don't order from them... probably that is why they are still open... Despicable people...

If it were possible I would put no stars... by the review from the Google and many other review sites this restaurant must be close down ASAP! We were very hungry, and by the name of this restaurant thought the food would be nice, but we couldn't even taste it... we waited for over 45 minutes and when we called the gentleman didn't even give an apology about the delay and straight away said that the delivery driver called to me which is a lie (never received a call) and told me that I have to call to just eat to get a refund... this is ridiculous I'm left hungry for the rest of the evening thanks to them... on the other hand from the comments I'm quit happy that I didn Waste any money on this establishment... Guys do not buy any food from this place, you will either not receive it or it will taste nasty...

Have been popping in here for a couple of years now, usually after a stroll round the Sunday flea market near Brick Lane. Excellent, good value and tasty food, washed down with a couple of Sapporos :-)

how can anyone say bad atmosphere. there are family in there work party meals and even the cops go there.. great atmosphere. food was ok some meals better then others,had take away and eat in from there for 10 years or more.. and never was sick. total enjoyment.how can anyone moan for the price

This is one of my regular work lunch spots - the prices are so cheap and the staff very friendly. The food is of good quality for the price and the servings are ridiculously huge! Can't really fault this place - so sad it will be CLOSING for good on the 26th March!

Food is OK to greasy for me and portions far to large , if you've had a drink or too it probably perfect! I do like the seating style

Tuve fideos de Singapur szcheun y fue horrible. La carne era incomible, pensé que las piezas de pollo eran huevos, entonces me di cuenta y chocó. La carne no era como incluso grasa, simplemente squidgy bruto procesadas marrón cosas. los fideos eran obviouilsy cocinado en una horrible petróleo barato, yo estaba enferma en la calle a menos de 15 minutos de salir y fue illuminative amarillo fluorescente

Luckyly we have chosen for take away. NOodles were good, but even waiting there was not so nice. Really feels like a cantine so not the place where I would choose to go and have a nice family meal

Eaten here twice now, and not been disappointed.Food is delicious - best Singapore Noodles I've had, and lovely freshly squeezed juices. Portions are huge and really cheap compared to other Chinese restaurants.

discovered this place years ago and it is one of my favourite secret treats! nice size portions,big rice,curry and noodles all for an amazing price! wow! this is why we love the Noodle King!

Ero titubante ma alla fine il cibo e' buono ed abbondante, servizio veloce, ed il prezzo è ottimo se vuoi spendere poco per un piatto ed una birra (se bevi acqua risparmi ancora di più). Nulla da invidiare a certe cucine di Soho o China Town.

I ordered prawns in black bean sauce. It's a yummy local Chinese. Prices are good aswell one of the workers there is so chatty and friendly :-)

I went to this restaurante twice and both times I liked it.I like the big tables to share and that is good place to eat alone.I always went for fried noodles with sea food and squeeze juices, you cant go wrong.The staff is quite friendly.The price is around 6 pounds per main which I think is a great deal.

Amazingly scrumptious food, Quick service too ! Only critique is that the apples used in my freshly squeezed apple juice was a little sour. Other than that will definitely recommend

The Noodle King is set on Bethnal Green Road and you might miss it if you're passing through - don't! Stop!The Noodle King offers the bench style seating that Wagamama's trades on and it's perfect for what it is - a no-nonsense restaurant where value is the watchword.The menu is extensive and the staff will happily prepare food the way you want it or recommend something that will appeal to your taste. On the subject of staff, they are attentive, approachable and friendly - some of the best in London.The food is brought quickly, is always hot and tastes just right. You won't find anything fancy or designer but it is exactly what it is - great value Chinese which ticks all the right boxes!Go there, give up your designer restaurants and have a brilliant night out knowing it costs less than a pizza!

these are rough round the edges noodle restuarant, chinese food at its cheapest BUT eor £4-95 you get more than you can eat mixed meat noodles, comfort food and much better than the high price noodle bars in Oxford street.

Great helpful staff. Great menu, you can have starters but you won't be able to finish your main. I have been coming here over 12 years, I bring friends and family and highly recommend. The fresh fruit juice is made in front of you or you could have a bottle of wine for a tender.

Been here a few times, always enjoyed. It's not a posh restaurant but great value and the portions are a good size, food always tastes good. You have to sit on benches, which is part of the experience, no fancy napkins here. The service is functional and I wouldn't rave about it (cash only) but a great place to get cheap, tasty, plentiful food in a trendy area of town. They let you take away leftovers too. Would recommend as a good lunch venue and a better alternative to some East London pretentious venues. Does what it says on the tin.

I discovered this place by accident 10-12 years ago when we had been at Brick Lane market and were just wandering around for a place to eat... basic cafeteria style tables, Their Ho Fun is home made and mega wonderful. Generous portions, both of the appetisers and main courses. Just visited again on a trip through London, and it is still Yum!

Been here a couple of times with friends and food has been nice every time - I usually have the egg fried rice with duck in bbq sauce, which costs around £5/6. Sometimes there is not much bbq suace over the duck, but on my last visit there was plenty! Duck is always cooked nicely, although the skin is not crispy and the rice is good. I usually only get one main dish (no starter_ as this always fills me up and most of the time I cant finish my plate anyway)Overall this restaurant serves decent Chinese food, nothing amazing, but for the price you cant really complain.

I ate there today and at the end of the meal discovered a small curl of metal between my teeth. I spoke to the waiter who shrugged his shoulder s I spoke to the old woman who takes the cash about it, more shoulder shrugging. I showed them the metal and they said it happens from time to time and comes from the fruit juicer they use...no apology no discount no real acknowledgement.My take - the place sucks avoid like the plague.

This restaurant is not far from where I work, and I have been here a couple of times with colleagues. The food is cheap but it tasted okay to me. My colleagues sometimes complain about it, though. I thought that it was alright. The plates are large, and it's not too expensive. I didn't see anything wrong with the food either.

I've been to this place probably more than a 100 times it serves noodles, rice, soup bowls, with any of your usual Cantonese dishes. Big portioned and ok flavour. Ferfect for a quick bite, they also do freshly squeezed juices no namby pamby stuff here. It's a quick eat and go place usually packed with local families and student types.

I ordered the number 13 roast duck and pork noodle soup for me and my mother the broth has flavour of the meat it was so good much better then the last broth We had the last one tasted like water and there was no flavour I think the last chef just didn't care about the food the person who served us was quick and fast and kind he served me fast and the food came quick and it was to die for I will recommend this place again they have improved on the food and flavour Well done and as being a chef for 3 years that was a big improvement on the food keep it up Thank you

Went here for a dinner. Decor is quite old and needs some work. Wooden long tables brings a feeling of being actually in China. (Which is nice) pictures of dishes on the wall. Different. All table service. Staff is smily and polite, a bit lack of confidence. Food menu is huge . Plenty of options. Serving is quick. Food is decent quality,but for money is good. Starter and entree is lesd than 10 quid. Would reccomend to try as it is local, family run business with some traditions kept from culture.

I am Brazilian and I tried this restaurant when I was visiting London. The taste of the dishes from Noodle King are very different from the ones served in Chinese restaurants in Brasil and I really enjoyed.They basically serve one kind of noodle combined with vegetables and duck or chicken or beef or prawn. They have a variety of noodles. The dishes are very cheap, if you are on budget, this is a great option!

Cheap, quick, tasty, plentiful, great service, I am so pleased this place is 5 mins from my flat! A word of warning; the spicy dishes are VERY spicy!

Not a place you'd take your mother-in-law unless, she can whip her leg over the bench to sit down and likes cheap Chinese! I went here for a treat for my mother and brother me mum ordered her usual Roast Duck and Roast Pork Noodle Soup I thought I give it ago cause my mum told me the broth was delicious my soup arrived and it looked really good but the broth tasted like Boiled water I told my mum and hers tasted the same I eaten the prawn toast that was good the curry sauce was nice the only problem is the broth I been a chef for nearly 3 years and I make my own broth and mine tastes 100 Times better then that boil water they call a broth the price is put of order I will never return to this place ever again

If you find yourself in the Shoreditch area with a big hunger and a small budget, this is a great place to go. It's only a 5 -10 minute walk from the Shoreditch High Street overground station. You'll find a number of cheap eats on Bethnal Green Road, generally.I've been going here for 3 years or so, and it always delivers: Clean, cheap, quick. The restaurant itself is very basic, with bench seating like Wagamama's. The menu contains a lot of the standard Chinese favourites, and at reasonable prices. Last night's meal for two, consisting of 1 starter, 2 mains and 2 beers cost £19.90...not bad! The best bit for travellers is that this is a local place, so you'll be eating where people who live in the area eat. Make sure you arrive here on an empty stomach, as the portions are enormous.

Noodle King holds a special place in my heart. Its generous portions fill my heart and belly on a regar basis. The service is quick, dishes cost no more then £5, the beer is £2.60 for a pint and you are guarenteed to leave stuffed to the brim. The noodle soups are particularly good here. If you are looking for a quick meal before you head out for a night on Brick Lane then you could do much worse than eating here.

I went to this restaurant 4yrs ago & it was awful. Plastic chairs & tables. Noodles were greasy, cold & bland. Although a large serving of noodles, the vegetables & meat in it were very sparse. There were only 2 of us on a quiet Monday lunch & they got 1 order completely wrong. No appology, despite waiting ages for the correct meal to arrive.After waiting nearly 4yrs, I gave this place another go. How others can give this place great reviews is beyond me. This time I ordered Chinese greens with a hoisin sauce. It also included a large, dead, worm-like grub!!! I returned it & the next meal they brought out had a long, black hair in it!! No appologies, no discount or free meal. A man at a nearby table had seen the goings on & enquired what the problem was. We explained & he said that on his previous visit he too had a large grub in his meal. Why he bothered to return, I have no idea. This place always had police cars out the front. I can only think they are getting meals for free, maybe thats why they havent been shut down? Even if the food was free, I'd never eat there again.

Simple Chinese restaurant, don't expect too much. Prices are reasonable, diverse menu and portions are big. I ate seafood noodles, they were pretty average nothing spectacular about them, just what you expect for that price range.

Take away and sit down restaurant, nice and clean and lovely decor. plenty of long tables to sit and enjoy good food from a variety of choices from the menu,gets busy at times as its value for money as most of the menu choices are less than £5 per person, staff are pleasant and there's not much waiting before your order arrives, I'm just gutted I've moved 5 miles away from bethnal green as my only negative comment is they don't deliver!!

If you are really angry is a good place to go....cheap and with big portion! The quality is not excellent but it fils your stomach! If you're not so hungry better you share one plate in 2 persons.

I used to eat at the Noodle King every fourthnight a few years ago but hadn't been there for a few years... I was passing by two weeks ago, on my way back home and thinking about dinner I decided to stop and eat there. The food is really cheap, even by the chinese/thai restaurants standards. The place was empty and yet it took the staff a while to take my order. I had just spring rolls and noodles. Spring rolls were okish, nothing special nothing wrong. The noodles were beyond bad, it was nasty! I did not eat 10% of my food, the waitress took my full plate, didn't ask any question about why I didn't eat and they charged me full price for the food.Lots of chinese thai restaurant in east london, no need to come back to this place.

Noodle king has been around for a long time with good reason. If you are looking for large servings of feebly cooked tasty Chinese, this place is for you.I have eaten much more expensive meals that didnt do the basics as well as this place does. The menu has 140 dishes on the menu, so sure it's not fancy or expensive, but a massive plate of spicy fried vermicelli with four types of meat and a freshly squeeEd orange juice for £6.00 makes this place one the best in London for cheap eats!

for the price this place is a godsend for the hungry and homeless. for the more discerning customer the food is rubbish.
