Carvery was not good I ordered a nut roast when I went to get it the chap serving the meat was so rude said I haven't got one did you order it I said yes with the waitress 15 mins before he said well you will have to wait the potatoes were that hard you couldn't cut into them (needed a chainsaw )The sprouts were hard so was the broccoli overall very dissapointing and definitely NOT WORTH THE MONEY 😡😡😡🤮

Very disappointed in the food, the scenery was great but for the money the food tasted average at best! Obviously not too worried about repeat local custom! Maybe try source more local produce instead of frozen stuff! 🤔

we had breakfast lunch and dinner at the hotel over the course of the weekend and everything was great - tasty, hot and good value and the staff were all so friendly

Food excellent, service, great, made to feel very welcome, very good santitising stations, felt safe and relaxed while the inside. Will recommend to anyone wanting somewhere good to eat, please do remember to log your car in on their pad if using their car park as if you don’t you may get a ticket, this is only a warning for the hard of thinking, for normals not a problem.

Went for the advertised carvery on Sunday, food itself was very nice on par with other places but being asked to give up our table after 40 mins was what would put me off coming back! Yes we had finished and didn’t want a desert but barely had time to let our dinner go down or finish our drinks! Ok for somewhere to scoff good down and go if you want a more relaxed take your time experience head elsewhere!!

Excellent menu and the food is not overpriced for a golf hotel. Drinks on the other hand, you do pay a premium.

A group of us had cavers today. Great food excellent selection couldn’t manage a desert. Will definitely go again.

I had a light lunch here with a couple of friends on a very warm day. The setting is very pleasant. There are tables indoors and outside. Unfortunately, it was too hot to sit out, and rather hot in the restaurant. Umbrellas or awnings outside would help.The food was fine, and reasonably priced. My ciabatta sandwich was OK, but unremarkable. Nevertheless, I'd go there again, and try something else from the menu.

My wife & I had lunch at Lanhydrock earlier this week, and enjoyed our meal very much. After some debate we agreed to eschew the starters and share a mixed grill and the fish-and-chips. Both were excellent and much enjoyed, as was my Staropramen, although my wife's orange juice and lemonade seemed rather light on orange juice (perhaps 20%, compared to the 50% that is usual). Coffee was good, service excellent (and friendly), and we would not hesitate to recommend the venue to others. One suggestion to the management -- supply better quality napkins : the monogram is a nice touch, but 3-ply would be a vast improvement.

Ate here while on a short break at the hotel, The food was good and staff friendly and polite. would use again

A group of 14 of us pre-booked our lunches before we walked in the area. When we arrived for lunch they provided friendly efficient service and provided us with our own area in the dining room. The meals all arrived together and we were all very impressed with the meals from sandwiches (with extra crisps and salad), fish and chips, pasta and other meals. All the meals were very well presented and very filling too!

Had a lovely 3 day trip with some golfing ladies (our 2nd year). Excellent value for 2 nights B&B with evening dinner thrown in. Three day's golf included. Lovely clean rooms, fantastic food, lovely staff & friendly golf pro. What-more could one ask for. Unfortunately the weather was horrendous, but we made the best of it and did manage to play golf on two days. Course tricky especially with no run on the ball, must go back when weather is fairer.

This was a birthday treat lunch. The weather was beautiful so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the stunning views across the golf course. The carvery has to be the best we have ever had. You have the choice of ordering 1,2 or 3 courses for your meal. There are 3 choices of meats which are carved for you on serving then you help yourself to as many trimmings as you would like. Have to say the choice of vegetables is great, and they are not just your normal choices like peas and carrots! The staff were very pleasant and look after you well. There is plenty of parking and you can also sit in the lounge and outside seating area before and after your meal. Of course you do not have to eat, you could just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere with a drink or a cuppa!

One of the best restaurants in Bodmin! Especially after a round of golf at this lovely course! Had the carvery and its pretty special. Big plates to load up! Great work guys!

On arrival we saw and smelt the carvery. We were about to enjoy a cream tea, so promised we will return to enjoy the Sunday lunch as it smelt and looked divine. Cream tea with views over the golf course washed down with Cornish cider!! We had a 3 course evening meal which was heaven. My partner is extremely fussy but even he practically licked the plates clean!!! Full English in the morning well presented and flavoursome. Couldn't fault a thing!!!

El personal era muy amable y nos dio una cálida bienvenida a menudo falta aire de profesionalidad de los establecimientos hoy. Nada era demasiado problema. La comida estaba muy bien presentado y muy sabroso. Elegimos la carne como principal y no nos decepcionó. . La carne estaba cocinada a la perfección en una salsa con verduras bonito. magnífico También nos dieron un maravilloso pan y mantequilla flan que calentar una izquierda verdaderamente completo y satisfecho.

Yes we were late in at 3pm but that was the only time they could fit us in on the menu was pork turkey ham and beef but the only meat that was left was ham and undercooked Beef (which was very chewy) had not be left to rest vegetables were warm and tasteless very disappointed as we normally have a first class roast if they take the booking they should serve the same quality food at the start of service to the end

La comida estaba caliente y bien presentado, y no demasiado caro. El personal era muy servicial. El Carvery domingo parecía ser muy popular. Bien merece una visita.

De nuevo volvimos a un asador Lanhydrock domingo y no nos decepcionó. No hay donde que se compare con Nineteen Bistro para variedad, gusto y alta calidad de la comida que se sirve. Puedo recomendar cualquier postre! Todos son deliciosos.

Ambiente agradable, personal agradable, un poco de espera, la comida era agradable, pero no un montón de opciones para vegetarianos, lo cual fue una pena porque me impiden volver a menudo. Aunque bien presentada y comidas unas encantadoras vistas al campo de golf. Como la decoración es realmente lo hace sentir cálido y acogedor.

There is a good buzz going on here. Called in twice during our stay nearby, a good crowd in both times. Plenty of nice views over the golf course. The young bar staff were all very pleasant and our food order was dealt with in good time. We had two vegetarian options and a beer-battered cod 'n chips. All very nicely done. Good value. Can't fault it.

We visited as a group of 10. We were seated in the Bistro which was lovely and light looking over the greens. The food- we all had carveries- were faultless. The deserts were amazing. I had the lemon posset and I also tried the white chocolate and almond bread and butter pudding. Both were amazing!! Someone also commented that their vanilla cheesecake was very very nice.

Burger was excellent and the omelette was beautifully cooked. I only drink red wine and both the Australian and South African Shiraz that I tried were good quality. Good food, good quality and quantity. Worth eating in here.

We visited as a family for a Sunday carvery - booked in advance. We were shown to our table which was laid out with a highchair as requested. The service staff were very busy and took our order as quickly as they were able. We all had carverys which were absolutely delicious. The meat was very nice and the choice and taste of the vegetables were delicious. We ordered desserts - mine was the white chocolate cheesecake pot which was one of the best I have ever had - and I know my cheesecakes!!!!!! I would highly recommend a visit.

Arrived this evening for my Nephew's 18th Birthday meal, we were a party of 18. Really looking forward to the food as we've eaten there before. Part way through the meal my brother noticed that there were quite large green fly and other aphids in his salad, he had quite a collection. Then my son said the same about his. As if that wasn't bad enough I then looked down at my club sandwich and there was a green caterpillar moving along the top!! I took my plate up to the bar to show them, whilst feeling understandably sick. I was offered a free dessert and drink, but after seeing that had no appetite. When the waitress came to take the other plates we commented on the bugs on the plates, her reply was just a laugh and 'well that's what you get for having fresh salad!' No it's not, isn't it a requirement to wash salad before it goes out to the customer? Just plain lazy and a real let down. 3 meals were not paid for and I won't be rushing back.

we went here for the Sunday carvery lunch. they could only seat us at 2:30pm, but that was OK, as we went to the National Trust house close by first.it was really a toss up between "average" and "very good". wish Tripadvisor would go to a numerical system... it probably deserved 3 1/2 out of 5.staff was VERY good, and I commend them for their efficiency and pleasant manner.however, after reading several reviews I expected better food. my husband had the leek and potato soup (rated "OK" by him), and I had the shrimp and smoked salmon appetizer (very nice)at the carvery, they were out of roast lamb, which was a disappointment. the roast beef, while tender, was pretty much well done throughout. we both prefer our roast beef juicy and pink in the middle, and this was rather dry. roasted potatoes were good, but all the vegetables were soft and soggy - maybe they had been sitting around too long.we skipped dessert.I would suggest there are better places to eat in the area.

Avoid. Sorry to say that the quality is no longer there, and "specials" are not that special. Reception was informed about this view.

Enjoyed a lovely meal here last night. Beautifully cooked fish, served as we like it with a good selection of fresh vegetables.

We were treated to a Sunday carvery by our sons as we were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary. I'm always a bit choosey with carverys but I've got to say this one was excellent. We had a choice of meats (beef, lamb, pork, gammon) & am excellent choice of vegetables all nicely cooked & presented for self service. We chose desserts from the menu & it was very difficult as they all sounded mouth wateringly delicious. In fact we all chose a different one and they were indeed every bit as delicious as they sounded!!A very enjoyable meal with stunning countryside views.

Mains were only ok from the 2 courses for £9.95 menu, but the puddings were great. Waited over half an hour for our main courses which was a surprise as it wasn't particularly busy. The steak, ale and mushroom pie was very dry, but better when requested gravy arrived 5 mins later. Vegetarian lasagne tasted nice but did not look appealing! Salmon main was fine. Unusual for credit card to be kept behind the bar until we'd paid.

Quite simply the best Carvery to be found in cornwall, you will need to book at least a week in advance- the staff are all well trained and nothing is too much trouble, I am now a regular visitor and it never fails to impress.there is a fantastic variety of freshly cooked vegetables and a lively selection of meat joints. All for 9.99 , try it you will go back.
