Great spot. Just up the road from where we stayed. Friendly staff, efficient service and really good food. Breakfasts, sandwich's, pasties and cream cakes all made fresh with a great view of the sea. Pet friendly and a nice balcony with seating.

I had a bit of time to spare while I waited for my puppy to be groomed over the road so I went in and ordered a roll to eat ( specified to eat in as the last time I was there I wasn't given the choice when I ordered so did not realise their was a price difference) anyway I made my order then sat down at an empty table and started going through my emails on my phone. The next thing I heard someone shouting from across at the serving counter before realising she was shouting to me. I looked up and she mumbled something to her colleague who started walking over to me shouting’ DO YOU WANT SALAD WITH YOUR CORRIE’ I shook my head in shock at the terrible customer service. This is the second time I've been in here as I thought Id give hm the benefit of the doubt after last time. Everyone has an off day don't they. They say eat local but never again will pay the extra and go to Costa

Found on the first day of our holiday & one of us has gone every day for fresh bread. The donuts are delicious as is the bread, white, seeded etc. We are loving the pasties. The staff are truly delightful, friendly, quick & efficient, thank you for a fabulous bakery.

Excellent friendly service. One Niles is right next to the Travelodge in the centre and we had our breakfasts there daily. Great value. Their filled rolls are wonderfully fresh and tasty.

On ordering our food it was handed to us in paper bags, we went to sit down as we had a bit of time to kill before our next activity. We didn't realise we hadn't paid for sitting in (it wasn't offered, possibly because they were closing soon? We didn't realise) and the manager walked straight over and asked whether we had paid to sit down. Our answer was no, we hadn't realised ... she was extremely abrupt and rude. The young lady who served us was extremely apologetic but she shouldn't have been the one apologising in my opinion. We said we would leave, it was no problem we could sit in the car - but the manager didn't say another word. Rude! The young lady behind the counter was lovely, as was the pasty and iced bun. Shame this one staff member let's the place down.

Quick and friendly service. Only used the take out service. Hot Pasties, soft pastry, good amount of meat and not over peppery like other places.

What can you say, the service is 10 out of 10. The breakfast is good quality. I would highly recommend if you’re around and looking for a breakfast or snacks stop here . You not be disappointed.

We've visited this bakery many times previously & found it rather good. However, we went in on Sunday for 2 of their all day breakfasts. It was 10 to 3, when I tried to place my order, but I was told 'we've stopped cooking now, it's Sunday'. Why bother to stay open until 4pm, if you're going to stop doing food before 3pm? There was no apology or explanation, just the attitude that I was stupid for asking. Yet, the signs were still outside advertising various food, that you can't have at that time. Ridiculous! We won't be going back. We're asked to support our local businesses and this is what we get!

My party of four had an excellent meal at the Polgooth, very friendly staff for which nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning ,probably in the winter when the fires are lit.

Just had an ok roll for lunch here which was the highlight, no skimmed milk for tea and everything is so dirty, there was food all over the floor and tables and the cups for tea were also dirty, really poor overall and won't be returning.

What a lovely bakery with a good promotion on at the moment - 2 breakfast for £11. A fantastic plate of egg, bacon, sausage, baked beans, hash brown and toast. Good quality and excellent value.

We ate breakfast twice at Nile's Bakery & Cafe on Pentewan Rd, Saint Austell PL25 5BU near the Travelodge, where we stayed. My fave part was the really GOOD bacon, very nice! One morning I simply got one of their scrumptious Danish Buns and 2 pieces of bacon and coffee, mmmm! My hubby got their full English both mornings and enjoyed it. We would eat there again, for sure. Their bakery part is full of delicious looking cakes and breads, mmmm! They also serve homemade Cornish Pasties but we never managed to be there for lunch, unfortunately.

Probably one of the worst pasties I've ever come across, the pastry for starters was like pastry would be when you warmed it up in the microwave bits if scrappy meat with gristle, as for the cake sweet beyond belief, I know cakes are full of sugar and it had icing sugar but this was just to sweet to eat, won't be back and would never recommend

Large seating area inside and tables outside. Toilets always clean. Staff helpful and carried my coffee outside for me. I use a stick.

Very expensive for what it is!! Dry baguette with ham (tasty ham) and cheese, a bit of salad and coleslaw (not very fresh) and a flat white came to £13.70!!! So stunned at the price I just paid it. I live in Truro and certainly won't be going again!

We visited this pub twice during our short visit as the food was so good and very reasonably priced. On our first visit we had the freshly caught cod and chips which really did look like a whale on a plate. Would highly recommend this place and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

Had a standard cappuccino here and it would've cost me less to get a taxi to Lidl and make it myself. Probably would've tasted better too.

A great find in busy Perranporth. Really nice food offering at very decent prices. Great service as well. Definitely a place to go
