This cafe is awful! Just all over the place. The ketchup was in little sachets. Salt & pepper was in sachets which we had to take from another table. Got the drinks..milkshake was not a milkshake it was practically just milk with the most smallest drop of flavouring. Had to ask for cutlery for the meal as it had been forgotten. Then to top it of! £30 for 2 burger and chips! Which they said you pay extra for salad and cheese in the burger! A can of coke £2.20! It’s a cafe in Bromley.. next to the shopping center…. This ain’t west end! £10 over charged! Disgusting. It’s a cafe, don’t be greedy with price, food is standard nothing special.

A great little cafe with a big menu! Loved the fact that you can choose from large range of items to create your own breakfast. Quick, hot and scrummy food and I had one of their mango, kale and spinach smoothies, divine! You can tell this is a local favourite, it has a very relaxed and friendly vibe. We felt very welcomed. Highly recommend!

What’s not to like… great local independent cafe. Friendly service. Good freshly cooked! Fab sausages! Not the best hash browns I’ve had, only thing holding me back from 5 stars, they were a little over cooked

The cafe has an accommodating atmosphere mainly from the staffs (special mention to Edith, Nick - the all around chef/cashier/cook/owner, May - the newby )......my friend was also impressed the way the "sunny-side up" eggs were cooked & presented. It is a cosy/homely, well priced , tastey all-day breakfast type & other homemade menu services transpired on our visits. The pleasant & accommodating attitude of all the staff made the experience outstanding.

Getting into Bromley at midnight last night did not make for a good morning, but waking up starving and in a good mood, set off for one of the best reviewed breakfast places within my reasonable walking distance (a stagger at this point.) Being one of three people in the cafe at quarter to ten in the morning was surprising but welcome, as I don't like crowds, but a nice welcome at the door and a large wall menu made me feel right at home. Delighted to find they have soy milk, and indeed Turkish tea, I decided coffee to start and tea to finish. Ordering the rise and shine (with substitutes as I don't eat pork) was easy and I suspect it was the owner taking my order, and didn't linger terribly. Which is considerably difficult seen as there's maybe 10ft between where I am sat and the counter, but this gentleman has mastered the art of unobtrusive lingering. After draining my coffee, which I strongly resisted asking for an extra shot, breakfast arrived promptly with what can only be described as THE softest eggs I've ever had at a breakfast place. Perfectly circular, not oily, light as a feather. I never order eggs at a place unless I've seen someone else's, but I'm glad in my half awake state I forgot to be careful. Delightful to eat, and I can reccomend the spicy sausage too. The bread made for a wonderful vehicle to mop up the left over egg, honestly I could have just had eggs and toast and been happy. Now sipping on a delightful Turkish tea, I feel set for the day, and awake enough to make a review.

Visited here for the first time in quite a while and had a pleasant experience. Enjoyed a jacket potato with tuna and a nice side salad with homemade coleslaw. A nice hot mint tea was also had. Menu is quite extensive and caters for most tastes. Prices are more than reasonable. Would return again when next passing by.

I do not normally write these reviews but after the experience today just felt i had to warn others Went in to this place for lunch and ordered a shepherds pie which should be made with Lamb but got cottage pie which is made with beef , not so much of a problem but I don't like beef so couldn't eat it , the lady came over and asked what was wrong with the food ? so I told her and she just responded by saying we used to make it with lamb but know-one liked it so we now make it with beef , I explained that this is not shepherds pie but cottage pie and that the menu is misleading , but i don;t think it sunk in, and no offer was made for me to change it for something else although by then I wouldn't have wanted anything else after seeing what the wife was served , she had the moussaka chips and salad it turned up looking like a dogs dinner on a plate hot on the outside but cold in the middle yuk unfortunately she eat some of this before realising she is not feeling too good now , am I glad i didn't eat mine ,she also said the chips where cold MY ADVICE IS TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO EAT this place is rank .

Nick's Cafe is a pretty good cafe / greasy spoon in the heart of Bromley, it's a little on the expensive side and drinks are not included with the meals. Overall not a bad shout. Have eaten there around four times.

Popped in Saturday for first time with my 8 year old son, place was reasonably busy which is always a good sign, staff were smiling and happy and we were able to order pretty quickly, and the food arrived quickly also, prices are fair and the food was pretty good. Place was tidy and clean, couldn’t really fault it from my own perspective, and will go again if passing.

Been going to Nick's Cafe for some time. Nick is a lovely guy who always takes the time to talk to customers. Today (Friday) I had lovely fresh battered cod and chips as good as any I've had in any pub or F&C shop. Topped this off with generous portion of ice cream. Happily full now.

Nick's is a great café with a wide choice of tasty homemade dishes. It's very good value for money and I have really enjoyed everything I've ever eaten there - breakfast being my favourite. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a welcoming atmosphere. It gets busy which is always a good sign, but my tip is to check upstairs as they have extra seating that you can't see from outside.

We have been to England many times and this is the cafe that serves the best english breakfast. The portion is so big that we cannot really finish all. The eggs are well fried. Ham and sausages are good and of high quality. We also tried their smoothies which are very fresh and healthy. I would say the food is good and value for money. Service is also good and waiters are friendly. Will definitely come again.

Made a Lunch stop today and ordered Ham/egg/chips - £4.50 + portion of Tomatoes as an extra - £1.20. Once the bill came I asked why the bill came to more then was expecting, to then be told that I had got charged an extra 70p because i asked for a poached egg instead of fried.why does it cost more to do a egg in water rather than in oil? Was disappointed, as the ham was tasteless wafer thin and not much off it and the portion of tomatoes equaled 2 slices!! Plus on top when rechecking my bill they realised they had also over charged me 55p safe to say i wont be returning!

Made a visit to Nicks cafe for breakfast before a spot of retail therapy. Got to say it really worth the visit, we both had omelette chips and beans and didn't get any drinks with that! It cost us £17 just for a a few eggs, chips and beans (which weren't Heinz) as a regular cafe visitor the food was average, really wasn't worth the price or the visit.

Stopped for a quick breakfast, ordered 1 set and one design your own. Really nice food. Coffee was ok. Ordered 1 latte and 1 white coffee. Both looked exactly the same. Most cafes include your drink with the breakfast, but these were addition. It totalled at a little over £18, which is a tad expensive considering there are so many cafes around serving the same food at a cheaper price

I went on my lunch to this cafe on Monday past. Trying to bypass establishments such as Neros/Pret/Costa in the area because I wanted to spend my money in a local independent cafe. I had been to this cafe before and always liked the food there. Its a "greasy spoon" not an upmarket cafe or restaurant. The tables are pushed together, and in tight confined space. This never bothered me before as the prices reflected the type of cafe it was.

There are so many cafes and restaurants in Bromley but I always seem to end up here; I haven't been into one of the big 'chain coffee shops' for ages. Nicks looks like just another café from the outside but there is a lot to choose from on the menu, from sandwiches and Paninis, roasts, burgers and other main meals. And always a 'special' most days. The paninis are the best in Bromley and served with a delicious side salad. There are cakes too but I never have room. Nicks does get very busy and noisy sometimes but there is extra seating upstairs. Lovely staff who always say sorry if they forget your cuppa when it's very busy! And of course the very charming Nick is in charge.

Visiting family for Christmas, (I'm from Lincolnshire), was shocked how rediculously expensive everything was in Bromley including even basic food, l could have a 3 course meal in Lincoln for price of a starter is some of the places here!! The Terrace Cafe was a breath of fresh air, really acceptable prices, big menu and good quality food, surprised also on the decent portion sizes. Not surprised they were busy! (I'm writing this review while still in the cafe). Well done guys.

Used to be such a good coffee, but the last few times were horrible. The baristas don't know how to heat oat milk and just burn it. Water glasses were filthy, probably from washing in same water as stuff covered in batter mix. Great crepes, but elsewhere for coffee!

Service with a smile on a Sunday morning. Went there for coffee and granola - relaxing and god atmosphere. We walked out of Starbucks as there was no smiles there.
