Lovely fresh white cod , crispy batter and great chips. Freshly cooked , quick service. Great price. Perfect thank you .

This has to be by far and away the best pub in Scarborough, everybody is so welcoming you are made to feel like a local, and if you can find a better Landlord/Landlady in Scarborough then You Must be dreaming, All the barstaff are Brilliant, pay this place a visit you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic carvery. Plenty to choose from. The yorkshires were absolutely delicious. The gravy had meat in which was also delicious. The chef allowed us to try a pie he had made, very tasty and a good alternative to the meats. My boys were all given ice lollies for their clean plates. We felt very satisfied with everything and will definitely be returning.

Food was ok.. Pub could do with a uplift.. Tables wobbly. More of a boozer, than a restaurant ..........

Really enjoyed the carvery.. love it when you can mix and match the meats and you can even have a bit of meat and the steak pie. Plenty of veg choices, yorkshires were excellent and now heading home for a sleep !

We visit the Newlands for a Sunday carvery on a regular basis , The carvery has a extensive choice with steak pie ,and roast meats served with real Yorkshire puddings and a great range of fresh vegetables and potatoes . The service is very friendly and welcoming . This is now my first choice for Sunday Roast dinner , Thank you Noel and Tracey , See you again !!

Went for lunch staff where really polite and the food was very enjoyable. Will be going again. Pushchair accessible and child friendly.

The meal was excellent, good service and and friendly staff,also child friendly There is a good size car park too,can only speak for the sunday meal ,nt been other nights

Great place for a drink and food hosts are friendly with outside area to amuse the kids ,steak night is also great value this pub is well worth a visit

This is such a friendly place, the beer is good, the layout is excellent, lots of tables and plentiful seating arrangements. Every Thursday they hold a free quiz, with various prizes and free food / snacks. On a weekend there is usually a live band and the music is varied from week to week, In my opinion, this is one of the best family / social pubs in the area,

This hotel/pub provides good food with portions that are far from skimpy. There is an extensive menu which is reasonably priced and value for money. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Opposite there are a variety of shops I clouding newsagent and post office, a supermarket, a bakery and green grocers - everything to hand. It is situated 15 minutes from the sea front

Always good food and now they have introduced a new menu which gives a great choice at fantastic price. Well worth a visit and you will not be disappointed.
