19:30 order food. Told will be delivered between 2035 and 2055. At 2000 I get text saying on its way. At 2020 I rang them and they said "he is delivering to more than just you". "So it will be cold then?" I replied. The controller told me they are in heat boxes and it will be fine. At 2040 it was delivered. The poor delivery driver was wet through and cold, but still in high spirits. The meal was FANTASTIC! still hot and perfect in every way. I apologise for my rudeness on the phone to the controller. Order with confidence.

Food was bland, biryani was oily and the meat in both korai’s were chewy. Garlic naan was burnt and the samosas were flavourless.

Not great. I wouldn’t recommend this takeaway.

Wow, the lamb Dhansak, rice and garlic naan were all very good. Generous size of portions, which I can not say that every restaurant does. I collected within 20 minutes of ordering, so great service. I keep coming back to Nawabi as not only is it local, it is one of the best for quality.

I recently made an order from Nawabi and unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with the meal I ordered. The food was bland and tasted stale, and the chickpeas in particular were undercooked and lacked any discernible flavor. Won’t be ordering from here again!

Next time please cook your vegetables and try not to overcook the chicken.

a tiny bit late but worth the wait as it was very nice

Haven't had a meal from here for years after a bad experience. Saturday we decided to give it another go. We ordered a delivery at 5pm when they opened, I think this was a big mistake as it looked and tasted like yesterday's food. Poppadoms were stale and soft, onion bahji rock hard. Didn't taste fresh at all. Forgot our naan bread had to phone them, it was delivered in 10 minutes. Our bill was just over £56 which isn't cheap. Very disappointed 😞

I ordered food which included a plain chicken burger Even though I called to remind them that it needed to be plain.. they said ‘just eat’ orders shouldn’t call and waste their time by calling. .. the food arrived cold and the burger was not plain… when I called the restaurant The rudeness I received was shocking. Food was cold and inedible. Will never order from this restaurant again.

Ordered a Makhani which states cooked with butter,almonds & cream, the dish that arrived was in a thick coconut sauce . Called restaurant to resolve but he was unhelpful & could not care less.

Received wrong dish. Rang restaurant who couldn't careless. Not the way to treat a regular!

All potatoes in sag aloo were not cooked & two out of the three bits of chicken in mixed starter was tough.

Nice driver, was delivered really quick. I had the chicken and lamb tikka kebab and the meat was disgusting, chewy, fatty and bland. The bread and chips was really nice and the salad was fresh, but the meat really let it down, ended up in the bin.

Good food, very tasty, it was delayed but they had the decency to notify me rather than just leaving me to wait. Will definitely order again.

The food was very good, in my opinion i can’t complain.

The food was well below the standard I would have expected. The curry (Lamb Dhansak) was cold. The potatoes in the Sag Aloo were not cooked properly. I will not order from them again if it is likely to be like this. Thank you, Mark Hawkes

Tried the Nawabi on a Saturday night having given up on our local. Ordered at 17:00 for 19:00 collection, food ready bang on time. Absolutely delicious.. 3 very different mains and all cooked to perfection, lovely & distinct flavours. Will definitely go again.

We tried Nawabi for the first time this evening, ordering a delivered takeaway from their website. It came very promptly (30 mins) and went down well with my family. The mixed grill and a vegetable bhuna were particular hits with our kids, but we all enjoyed all of it. Only the king prawn butterfly starter was a slight let down, containing just two prawns. Overall the whole meal was tasty, well cooked, delivered hot, and good value. We'll very likely order again in future.

my food came very cold with drinks missing and the staff were so rude about it. forget about refunds as well. and not a variety of dishes for vegetarians either.

Shocking to have cold food delivered to you door and have no explanation or even an apology. The food said it was out for delivery at 5:24 and it came at 6:10 so it was out for 45 mins before it arrived. I would advise anyone to give this place a wide birth, the customer service is shocking!

A fantastic service. One item was missed from the delivery and we called the restaurant and they arranged to deliver this within 10 minutes, which was amazing! We will be ordering from them again as the food was lovely too.
