We went to the Guildhall for an evening out and stopped in for something to eat .... The smell of delicious food was amazing. I had the chicken burger 🍔 well all I say is come hungry 😋 We explained we needed our order quickly as we need to get to our show and sure enough it arrived super quick, what delicious chicken seriously tasty Shame I don't live in Portsmouth

Can't comment on atmosphere as yet to dine here. Had a few deliveries from this restaurant and has never disappointed us The chicken is well marinated and cooked to perfection. The side dishes we have had are always delicious and portions are good. Will visit the restaurant soon

Went here after being suggested it by my sister and we were staying 0.1 miles away. Managed to book a table really easily and we're sat down right away. Really busy and good energy in the restaurant and the waiting staff were all lovely. There was a very small wait for our food, however one of the servers came and offered us a complimentary drink for the delay which was a lovely touch. It was our servers first day and she was very friendly and talkative. I had the ice cream munch burger which sounds weird, but would heavily recommend trying it! Chilli lime wings also were incredible. Deffo recommend

As food reviewers - this place is perfect 👌🏻. The food served here is made with love, soul and passion. Flavours are on point and cooked to perfection. Staff very friendly and efficient. We were in the new extension (green room) as a family of 4 on valentines evening. Server was persistent and checking everything was okay within reason he wasn't annoying at any point. We ordered a lot as wanted to try a variety of things: curry coat box meal, pork belly & fries meal, 1lb jerk chicken, mac n cheese and mango wings and alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. We had no complaints at all everything was delicious. At the end of the night comes our bill less than £80 which was nice and reasonable and allowed us to leave a nice tip. One of the hosts offered our boys ice cream which was an excellent gesture for a family and was greatly appreciated by our boys. 100% recommend to anyone for the experience and already planning our next visit! Very family friendly and Absolutely delicious 😋

WOW! Stumbled on this place before jumping on the train back home. The food was unbelievable! Taste explosions and authentic Jamaican taste. Small details down to the hashtag #sooncome when being asked to wait to be seated, Jamaican flag coloured bins with 'dirty tings' and the renovated building to feel like you are in a beach restaurant not on the dirty streets of Porrsmouth. Extra points for clearly labelled gluten free and vegan food. Good to see the manager/owner chatting to customers and clearly proud of his great achievement. Cocktails were banging too! Literally can't fault anything- hidden gem that I would happily get a 2 hour train for again! ( and can't stop thinking about the coconut corn- out of this world!)

Mia, Avalon and Becky were such great lovely girls who really made us feel welcome and clearly went above and beyond to keep me and my friend satisfied. Service definitely makes a difference in whether people would like to return to restaurants and they really exceeded themselves! ❤️

Best authentic Jerk in and outside of London! Amazing food, service and atmosphere and great menu to choose from. Mac and Cheese is a must and the Pork Belly is 👌🏼…. Good for Gluten free too which is a plus for the Mrs!

Incredible place! Loved the atmosphere and the staff were absolutely fantastic. We went for unlimited wings and fries and every single bit was perfection. Not to mention the fact that we were able to take the wings we couldn't finish home!! Drinks were also delicious Would absolutely come back again!

Ayo wtf. BEST quick and satisfying meal I’ve had in a while, their jerk chicken meal is insane and their mac&cheese is sensational, seasoned to perfection. I ate 2 days ago and I can’t stop dreaming about it. Please open a spot in Glasgow 😩🙏 and the atmosphere and vibes are immaculate, really a great way to start the year. Good bang for your buck too, I was full about 2/3s of the way but it was just too good to leave anything.

As close to an authentic carribean restarant vibe and food short of jumping on a flight to Kingston, Jamiaca!

2 of us went on a Tusday evening, restaurant wasn't too busy but the poor waiter was working on his own, didn't seem to have much experience so the service was poor. We waited 20 min just to order the drinks, took another 20 min for the drinks to arrive. Food was great but took ages to arrive and the waiter forgot some of the side dishes so we had to bring it home as a takeaway when we pointed it out as it arrived after the main dish. Wouldn't recommend until the service improved. It's a shame as the food is nice. Maybe the owner needs to focus on customer service instead of putting all his time on self centred instagram posts.

Great place, was a little unsure at first as my only other experience with Jamaican food was Turtle Bay, which was horrendous. I asked the waitress for he recommendation and she was spot on. The food was delicious 😋. Yes, it's in a shack opposite the railway station but this adds to the charm, once inside, it's easy to forget where you are, with patio heaters and Jamaican music. Will return.

I got a takeaway fried chicken jerk burger and it was delicious. Tasted very fresh and the flavours were very good. Very friendly staff as well

We had such a great time. The food is delicious and great portions. It was freezing when we went but all of the heaters kept us warm. Really lovely staff, couldn't recommend it higher!

What a discovery!! Aside from the food quality and taste, it was an absolute pleasure to be around the staff. They all have great smiles and super professional service. This will be part of our go-to restaurants.

The jerk chicken tastes burnt, the patties in my opinion is average, to be honest. I won’t be visiting again.

Tasty, authentic food and reasonably priced. Swift and friendly service. Lots of decent veggie choices, not the usual cheesy-token offering. We will be back.

Location- It was nice and quirky and the decor was great and added to the theme of the restaurant. Service- Was horrendous, we waited 50 mins for two meals and there was no update with regards to food timings etc. if we had known this we would have gone elsewhere. Food- was nice but not amazing and nothing to boast about. We wouldn’t be back as the service let down the entire experience. Very unapologetic when we told them about the issue too, rather than looking to fix or amend the experience.

Came in and ordered food to takeaway, food took an hour and if I had known if it was due to one item beforehand I wouldn't have bothered with it specially as it was bland and wasn't worth the wait.some of the jerk chicken was pink and the taco wraps was stale and were clearly left siting out for a while while waiting for this one item. Staff were really friendly but was disappointed

Absolutely quality 🌟 Ordered through uber and they messed the order up the driver never collected it. The staff in store called me to tell me and even though they had just closed they waited for me to collect. Food was top 👌 ,

My favourite restaurant in Portsmouth. Amazing food, staff and cocktails at decent prices and in a really fun location. Definitely get a pitcher when ordering a cocktail as you get about 8 glasses out of it. Brilliant value! The food also travels really well when ordering as a takeaway.

Best tasting food in Portsmouth

Hey, we've wanted to check this place out for a long time. We went. Today, and we're disappointed with the chicken portion because it was so. The little one reached half of the bowl, overcooked rice was the tastiest. Chicken, the rest of the food is also not too great, certainly not for 14, 50!the food was ready, served in two in 3 minutes..

Absolutely delicious. Staff were so nice and accommodating as well! Some of the best plantin I've ever had! Cauliflower wings were sensational! Honestly could not fault anything at all! Would highly recommend everyone visit Nattys at least once in their life!

Excellent food. Very tasty. Helpful friendly staff helping us to choose what’s on the menu, It’s the only place to eat worth going near the station on a week day in the evening. I had delicious chicken wings with bbq sauce. Not too spicy. My partner and nephew had goat curry and jerk chicken box. All brilliant. Reasonably priced. 👍

Was stuck near Portsmouth & Southsea station with time to kill as the ferry was annoying. Unexpected utter deliciousness. And I've just spent a week in France! I had the jerk chicken box - incredible! The delay was all worth it.

I'd only heard good things on social media about Nattys. Came from Reading especially and can say it was well worth the journey. Brilliant venue, I sat outside in their beach garden 10/10

Jerk food at its best 🍗🇯🇲 My goodness me!!! This place is Jerk food at its absolute finest, a must visit for the people of Portsmouth or any tourists who may pass by. Located right next to the train station, Natty’s Jerk offers a Caribbean dining experience with both indoor seating, outdoor seating in the beach area, or takeaway food. The menu (as pictured) offers a wide variety of Caribbean cuisine. Dining as a group we tried a range of menu item, all of which were fantastic! We tried the Jerk chicken, Jerk Pork, Curry Goat, Tacos and the corn. I also tried the ‘pink ting’ drink which was very refreshing on a hot summers day! Will absolutely be returning here and will be recommending it to anyone passing through Portsmouth! 🍗🤩 🌟 Recommendations: Jerk chicken Box (or Pon Frites) Pink ting drink ⛔️ Drawbacks: Limited options for those who do not like Caribbean food (Almost impossible to find any drawbacks!)

Absolutely delicious, authentic Caribbean food. THE best jerk chicken and rice! Don't hesitate. Every dish I've tried from Nattys has been superb. A portsmouth diamond.

These are the jerk chicken box meal and the pulled pork tacos, the food was brilliant, very tasty and rich in flavour. The jerk chicken was as good as it gets, brilliant flavour. 10/10 or in this case 5 stars easily. Very reasonable prices as well in my opinion, the jerk chicken was 12.5 and the tacos around 8.

We would firstly like to say how lovely the staff were. At first we were a bit worried with a young child who then decided to kick off but the staff just showered him with smiles and waves. We wernt sure what to order but the waitress kindly gave us some advice and it was great advice. We both went for the Jerk chicken box meal and we couldn't believe how much flavour was packed in. Great music and one of the only places I know of that sell Red stripe in a reataurant! Always a winner in my eyes and we will certainly be recommending them and going back Thanks Nattys for your top food and staff

The atmosphere was really nice, there’s an outdoor seating area as well as one that more inside by the counter. The food was amazing and tasted really authentic! Though it was quite busy the food came pretty quickly and the portion size was pretty good. There were so many options it was hard to choose what to eat!

Came here on recommendation for work colleagues, I was blown away it was full of flavour and cooked perfectly, the are at the back in amazing too, had jerk chicken pon fries and side of mac and cheezus

Tried Nattys today for the first time, because I see it most days and it looks interesting. OMG, what a place, fantastic atmosphere, great service and the food is just amazing, and totally authentic. Will definitely return. Would highly recommend you pop in for a bite.

I have had curry goat from a lot of different places between London, Reading and Southampton and I can tell you that this one is by far the best!! Flavour is on point and I actually had goat in the curry huge massive pieces which your know if you like your curry goat is a rare find! Top notch can’t rate enough!!

Natty's jerk is by far my favourite place to eat. The venue its self is so unique and there isn't anything like it in Portsmouth. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and the food is amazing everytime 👌 Whether I visit nattys or order food online. I'm a regular and so happy we have this available in Portsmouth 🙌

I was so excited to go eat here but I was very disappointed with the food. We ordered goat curry. The rice was not fresh , it smelt and tested like it was cooked a day before , goat curry was not nice at all it lacked seasoning.

What can I say! everything was amazing. Mothers Day Roast was so good, the staff were so attentive, friendly and chatty. Loving the cocktails and I got a free glass of fizz and a bunch of Daffs. What a nice touch❤️ One of my faves places to go 😋

Absolutely amazing place My train was delayed and I came out of the dark empty station, crossed the road and found myself in this oasis. It was very warm with the gas fire, the food was served very quickly and tested so great, beautiful, relaxing music. The staff was very friendly. One of the best places I have ever been for food. My Partner and I went solo before taking our eldest just a week later! We're big foodies, and always try a variety. I had the Jerk Pork Belly Pon fries, My Partner had the Jerk Pork Belly with Rice. We ordered the dumplings, the coconut corn (which I was in heaven eating) and the Jerk Chicken Tacos which were unbelievable. We had an order of the scotch bonnet sauce, I have NO spice palette so it killed me off but the taste of it was unbelievable. We love Natty's and have said we will be back given a chance any time we can!

Previously I would have given a five as this is a fun tasty place to eat. Unfortunately on my last visit things did not go well. To start the drink prices on the menu and what we were charged were different, when queried we were told that we were charged the right price and the menu was wrong. Then our food was given to the wrong table. It was collected eventually and taken away. Some minutes later it was redelivered to our table. I did query if it was fresh or the previously served food. I was told it was fresh, but it had obviously been dug around in and as it has been previously served about 5-10 minutes earlier it was luke warm. No apologies were given. I should have complained at the time although the signs do say "no negative vibes" and it took so long we were tight for time. Would I recommend, well probably not now. Such a shame.

We travel all the way from near Brighton just to come to Nattys, no other place hits the spot quite like this place. The food never disappoints, it’s suited to all weather conditions too, the summer it’s always a vibe and the winter they keep the inside warm with the fires so you really can’t complain. But again the food is BEAUTIFUL😍
