Tried Nandos for the first time here. The food was amazing. Staff was very polite and helpful, and the place looks decent to have a nice meal. I had the Garlic Churrasco burger with rainbow slaw and halloumi fries. I LOVED the burger. It was sooo good! Definitely gonna reorder in the future

do not go here the place is badly run dirty and the manager just rude and the worst customer service i have ever experienced in any nandos i ordered what i always order every time i go and i have been going for years half a chicken extra hot rice and chips the waitress brings out the dryest chicken i have ever seen not hardly touched the grill no maronaded whilat cooking like really dry i said sorry that is not extra hot she take it back where the manager while laughing about says to her oh well i’ll just chock some more sauce on it unfortunately for him i saw him say and do this and demanded a refund and left when i was at the till o notices the kitchen was absolutely disgusting see photo health and safety would have a filled day there

As a dedicated Nando's customer, I’ve come to expect a certain level of quality when I visit your restaurant. Unfortunately, my recent experience was a far cry from the usual standards that have kept me coming back for years. Let me set the scene: Daddy was hungry when he arrived, and as any Nando's fan would understand, I was looking forward to leaving full and satisfied. Sadly, that didn’t happen. What should have been a meal to savor turned out to be one of the most disappointing culinary experiences I’ve had in a long time—perhaps even one of the worst meals the chef has ever prepared in his career. The food lacked the flavor and freshness I've grown accustomed to. The chicken was dry, the sides were underwhelming, and the overall presentation was far from appetizing. I left the restaurant still hungry, which is the last thing anyone expects after a Nando's meal. And to add insult to injury, there’s a long wait for tea to make up for the lack of fulfillment I felt after my meal. I’m genuinely disappointed and hope this is a one-off situation rather than a sign of things to come. I trust that this feedback will be taken seriously, and that steps will be taken to ensure no one else leaves your restaurant as hungry and dissatisfied as I did. My daughter and granddaughter visited Nandos at the Retail Park in Wakefield on 5/7/2024 at around 7.00 pm. The food arrived cold but they were hungry so decided not to complain. However, my 4 year old granddaughter needed the toilet so my daughter took her they were only about 5 mins and when they came back the table had been cleared and their table had been allocated to another family. They made fresh food for them and put them on another small table but my daughter requested take out by this time and left. Obviously the staff should wait before assuming they had left the premises what if they wanted a dessert. Appalling customer service.

My friend was given a frozen chip in her portion, we told staff and she took the chip and said “okay” and awkwardly walked away… I then called her back and my friend explained how she thinks she was misunderstood because the frozen chip was in her food not just found by the table, the waitress says “It happens” and leaves again not that deep but a simple apology would of been nice

My meal wasn't bad, but I can't really rave about it. Servers were polite and helpful, the food arrived in a reasonable time. I just don't think you get value for money. I only visited as it was a reward trip with some students, I wouldn't choose it. The atmosphere is very canteen-like and noisy, just not my kind of place.

Called into Nando’s today for a treat for my daughter’s and I have to say the customer service was absolutely fantastic, I made a mistake when I was ordering through the app and Dan who was working at the time was really accommodating and corrected my mistake with no hassle at all. I noticed there was a lady feeding a baby on the next table to us and he asked if she would prefer for him to bring her food out a bit later and realised her starting was going cold, he ended up bringing her a new starter after she had finished feeding her baby. I say Nando’s Dan is a credit to you.

Extremely disappointed with the service we received today at Nando’s Wakefield. Made our order at the till, 1 hour later still waiting for our food to be ready, people were ordering after us getting there food eating and leaving. Asked twice where our food was to be told it wasn’t put on the system, waited another 20 minutes still no food. Complained to the manager Danny who was very unprofessional, rude and spoke to us with an attitude. We requested a refund which Danny reluctantly agreed, no apology for the wait or our experience. Danny huffed and puffed and shook his head, very poor service from the store manager. We won’t be returning to this store due today’s experience! Will be taking this further with area manager.

Ordered a double chicken wrap and got given a single, was smaller than an Asda Meal Deal Wrap which says it all. Had a waiter try and accuse me of tampering with it when it’d literally just been brought to me, the plate and food was untouched.. took it back and brought me a new wrap with arrogance and aggression. Was the most painful few bites of food i’ve ever had, I always order medium and it’s completely fine… yet suddenly I recieved this back and it blew my mouth off I had to go the toilet and be sick! Chugged fluids down to cool my mouth down. Returned the wrap for a 3rd time at which I was outraged. The cutlery was still used and filthy so definitely not washed properly. Feel scammed at the fact i’ve just been served that and paid for it, giving it a 0/5 stars is a compliment as it was beyond awful. Never ever again.

Not the best experience! After ordering, our starters did not arrive. When the main meals finally came, half the food arrived whilst we had to wait 45 minutes for the rest. On arrival sides were missing and we had to ask multiple times for them to be brought to us. My friend found hair in her food and when we alerted the waiter nothing was done about it. The drinks machine provided cloudy water and flat Coca Cola. Overall the food and service wasn’t good!! I wouldn’t rush back to the Wakefield Nando’s again.

I visited the Nando’s Wakefield store from Sheffield as the halal Nando’s in Sheffield is closed at the min. We were No disappointed in anyway the restaurant manager Dan got us seated as soon as possible, our food followed soon after we ordered. The manager even though store was busy he was very attentive to all customers and his fellow colleagues he had clear presence in restaurant had complete control and understanding of the running of his restaurant no job was too small from clearing tables to sweeping floors he was happy to do it all. I have visited many Nando’s but not seen such hospitality customer service Nando’s the staff in Sheffield could learn a lot from leader like Dan! Thank you Dan

Came in on a Wednesday evening and the restaurant was pretty busy which we didn’t expect and then was told we’d have to wait 30mins for a table. However, after only a short wait the hostess Emily came over and had us seated within 10 mins. The service was exceptional and in particular Emily who served us was extremely polite, friendly and very accommodating. Please make sure she is commended for her outstanding service.

When we arrived there was no rush for any of the staff to seat us despite the restaurant being almost empty. Similar situation when I went to order the food, one member of staff was having an issue with the customer in front and it took me sitting down, coming back and still a few minutes before she asked for someone else to take my order. When the food arrived the order was incorrect which was dealt with reasonably quickly. However, the food left much to be desired. I've always enjoyed nandos, but following this experience I wouldn't be in any hurry to eat here again. The chicken was very dry, one chicken breast was missing the skin so didn't have much flavour and the chips were terrible. In future I think we will just make our own peri peri chicken at home or order from the various takeaways that offer it in our area.

Where shall I start, called in nandos for a bit of tea, ordered the food and sat back down, we then noticed the lady manager cooking food in her normal clothes, the other cook was filthy and kept wiping his hands down his sides and his apron. The staff who were cleaning tables just wiped the left over food onto the floor so there was chips and rice and bits of crap under your table. The seats were ripped and the walls were filthy. The food came my wife got a sunset burger which she said was fine. I got half a chicken so over cooked you couldn't put the knife through it. Think the chicken was pre cooked and then shoved under the lights. The chicken was replaced but the next one wasn't much better.. Filthy walls, filthy floors, filthy staff, what more do you want

Visited yesterday with a friend for a birthday lunch. We used to get to Nando’s every couple of weeks pre covid, but I haven’t been since. I always thought it expensive but enjoyed the food. We ordered, and I am totally flabbergasted at the price increases. It’s totally disgusting how much this place is charging for food like this. Also, as I’ve not been for a while, it was clear that portion sizes are less. The wrap is smaller, pitta is smaller, smaller bowls for the rice and hummus. Food was nice, totally not worth the money though and we will not be visiting any Nando’s again. I’ve felt sick since, but I think that’s me reflecting on how much I’ve spent on one meal! You’ll price yourself out of the market - people just cannot afford this money for chicken

Shocking experience! Ordered our food online and after waiting over a hour we still hadn’t received anything so we phoned up to be told that they was ‘only here to listen to our feedback and they can’t process a refund on there end because the driver was sat outside the property, they tried to contact us via the phone number (absolutely did not) but didn’t get a answer’ It is absolutely disgusting that they have taken money out of the bank and haven’t provided us with any food. The driver did NOT come to the door once so there was absolutely no attempt to deliver anything. Tried calling the Wakefield branch directly but the phone just rings and nobody picks up. I will NOT be spending any time or money in any of the Nando’s restaurants going forward.

I was first in and to order when they opened at 11.30am. A table of 6, and two tables of two arrived after me. I ordered my food (double chicken wrap, broccoli and cob) at 11.35. Everyone else received their food before me and I got mine at 12.03. I asked for it to be replaced as it was cold. When it was brought out again the broccoli was still cold which I took back to the counter and it was reheated in less than 30 seconds-presumably in the microwave.

Nearly every time I visit this nandos they tell me it’s a 45 minute + wait despite there being many tables free, I thought it was due to social distancing but it’s not because people are still sat on tables next to each other. Went today and was told would be a 30 minute wait despite seeing free tables so I agreed to wait, a family came in after to use and were seated immediately and a couple 5 minutes after us were told a 10 minute wait? We were seated after 10 minutes which was good, food was fine and came quickly, but it still confuses me as to why they appear to try to scare people away, maybe they’re internally rewarded for faster service once people order and this is how they do it?

Fancied an impromptu date night so popped into Nando’s. Was advised there would be a wait so scanned a QR code which would text us when our table was ready. This worked well. On being seated in the restaurant, we were told about the new system. You scan another QR code on your table to order the food - no ordering at the counter. The app used to order is frustrating, with a confirm button at the bottom that is obscured by an ad. At the end of our order, we got an error message which meant we had to get a waitress over to order our food. Our waitress Jess was very helpful and pleasant - a highlight of our visit. The food arrived quickly, although we wish the mains didn’t arrive as we were midway through our starters. Part of my girlfriend’s order was missed too and her broccoli was cold and hard, disappointing. Overall, the food was tasty in the main and the staff seemed to be taking C-19 seriously with masks and socially distanced tables.

Well where do I start: the young lady by the door acted as if it was her restaurant basically saying to customers in a rude manner “scan there and join the que”. Then after a wait we were passed onto another guy who escorted us without a word to a very dirty table. As he was about to explain I quickly asked him if they can clean the table first. He was visibly annoyed so he called a young lady who was polite and she cleaned the chairs and table. Really how can someone expect you to enjoy your meal in a dirty restaurant. Looking around the place was dirty and the lady who appeared to be the manager based on her uniform appeared to be chatting to staff more than giving attention to the customers. I could see what we ordered sitting there for ages and I was tempted to go get it myself. Eventually maybe after 15mins the manageress brought it to our table when it was cold and bland. Looking around the place needed cleaning and staff will definitely benefit from good customer service skills. We all agreed that it wasn’t a good representative of Nandos. I will not be going back there without a shadow of a doubt.

We've ordered a few times during lockdown and the variance in quality and accuracy is vast - it's almost like dealing with two completely different restaurants! When it's good, it's GREAT, but when it's bad, there are so many things wrong that you can't help but take it personally!! Last order is a good example - turned up an hour earlier than expected, and one of the two chickens in the Family Banquet may as well have been a sparrow for the size and meat quantity. Also, the corn on the cob was burnt (not charred, actually burnt), the peri-peri chips had no peri-peri on them and the whole thing was massively underwhelming. If we had been served that in the restaurant, it would have gone back.

Having never been to Nando's before we thought we would give it a try. We were greeted quickly and shown to a table. We chose what we wanted and waited and waited, eventually asking if we could order. The waitress then told us we had to go to the order point, possibly a good idea to tell us this when we sat down. Ordered ok then went to get our drinks. The ice machine wasn't working, not the end of the world. The drinks were just about flat. The food came , then we realised we had no cutlery. we went on the hunt for that and found it.The food was ok. When the waitress came to clear the table she asked if everthing was ok, to which my wife said no not really the whole experiance hasn't been very good. The reply we got was ok thats fine. Speechless, wish I had a camera to capture the look on my wifes face. So to sum it up the food was ok but the service was crap.

both of us come here every time we go to the movies, we get the same thing always, beanie burger hot with garlic bread, peri chip, butterflied chocken burher with chips and garlic bread and the 5 wing selection, everyother time we have been it has been consitant this time we got the same thing, i asked for hot beanie burger when it came it was swimming in sauce, the peri chips look liked they have been just drowned in the seasoning salt, the table to the leff of us had cold food and the table behind us had raw food while these are non of our concern it makes you think if there are children eating food that could make them Ill, never checked upon to put these point across, the other tables around had there tables cleared instantaneous and check upon maybe 5 minuets into getting there food

My daughters wrap was way smaller/slimmer that usual-being a very regular diner, she noticed instantly. My wrap was way too big for the mini shrunken chicken breast - usually contains 2 pieces.

We booked in advance for a table but got there and they hadn’t recorded any booking (although they still honoured it so that was ok). The wakefield branch is quite small, tables close together. The cutlery was dirty and there wasn’t any clean ones available. The food was decent enough though. Overall seems disorganized at wakefield nandos

I went there twice during my stay in Wakefield. Once as a couple and then as a solo. Everything is pleasant. The staff are friendly and professional. The food is so good as Nando’s always. The seatings are convenient. The best part is that this Nando’s chicken is Halal! I definitely recommend this place to everyone. Thank you

Having been ripped off royally in Cornwall I was pleased to find a genuine meal deal. I’d prefer cod but the deal was haddock so haddock it was. The food was good, the fish was fresh and the chips were tasty. The bread came buttered. We got mushy peas on the side. The servers were friendly and the food was delivered promptly. They happily took credit card payments. The cafe is comfortable and the ambiance was pleasant.

I got spare ribs which were lovely The chips were ok and the mushroom omelette was to for the chicken balls were nice the sauces curry and sweet and sour were delicious
