My go to place for a quick takeaway. Always had good service and the food has never let me down, so I'll keep going back for more. Parking available opposite the shop in sue ryder car park. Normally pretty quick service also, which is always a bonus. Sofa in there to chill on while waiting also.

Received wrong food box rang up an lady was quite rude said I ordered opposite one none of it was nice rice like supermarket rice. Sauce bland avoid!

Brilliant food !! Best Chinese for miles around here, we live around 9 miles away delivery was around 1 hour 15 not bad at all for Saturday night. All round was great !! Most definitely order again soon thank you 👌🏻

Mixed feelings about this one. Food and portions way better than the other local options. But... meat often over tenderised, last time it had no texture left at all. Almost sickly because it was so mushy. Also last time I had to put shoes on and go meet the driver. I might as well have got in the car and saved me the delivery charge. Its only 0.5 miles.

🌟ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC 🌟 Finally we've found THE perfect takeaway, on time and polite driver. I had sweet and sour chicken with chips, the chicken was so tender and succulent, big pieces, and the chips tasted homemade and gorgeous, My wife had the pancake rolls and were homemade really nice and gorgeous. I couldn't praise Lucky Star highly enough. Whoever the chef was, please DON'T get rid of them, they did you proud. Last time we look around. LUCKY STAR for us from now on. What a shocking experience. Chips were ‘bruised’ and the chicken curry, well put it this way very strange spongy chicken and purple in the middle. God was not good. Never again. Shame.

Ordered a box for £13. Literally zero salt and pepper chips or chicken. Just standard, called and complained. Sent driver down to collect box. Thinking they would send another. No, got the same box back, microwaved with 3 onions added. Disgusting.

I had to have a covid test to see if my taste had gone before i left this review. Bland and soggy fried rice, tasteless soft noodles, thick black bean sauce that could be cut with a knife and cheap products in the salt and pepper box. On a good note the delivery was quick and prawn crackers were free. Nearly £30 spent I definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone.

First time ordering from here. Fresh tasting, chunky fresh veg and plenty of meat in each portion. Ordered online for collection and it was ready when I arrived. Clean and hygienic takeaway. Thank you we will be back

Food was ready on time but our order was incomplete and for the first time ever we have ordered another Chinese from elsewhere as the Food was really substandard My kids would not eat the Food and to be honest I agree with them. The Beef in the Black Bean was like Leather !!

TASTY!! First time trying this Chinese, me and my partner ordered the LARGE Special Lucky Box. It had x4 of each thing, so two of each food which was enough for the both of us. I didn't think it'd be enough but it was and we're bug eaters. They threw in a huge bag of prawn crackers! One of the best salt and pepper chips I've tasted.

OMG BEST CHINESE IN KNOTTINGLEY BY FAR. We have struggled since moving here to get a good Chinese takeaway. Lucky star is head and shoulders above any other Chinese around. You must try! Thank you again for a great meal

Just had our first meal from lucky star. The chicken and sweet corn soup was lovely then I had Peking duck with pancakes, they were gorgeous. My husband had beef and onion and said it was the best in knottingley. If this meal is anything to go by it is the best in knottingley. We will be ordering again.
