Chicken Stop in Wakefield

I use this place regularly for take away. Food is great value and tastes lovely. I use their website to order as tends to be cheaper. Keep being great.

A very intense aroma and flavour of onions on my expensive chocolate cake, a very average pizza, and standard fries, although I ordered paprika fries I got standard fries.

Nice and fresh. Very friendly staff.

Wow I never leave bad reviews ever first time and last time ordering from here so I ordered last night not even 10 mins after ordering it says food is on way I was told about a 45 min wait anyway shortly after my food if that's what u want to called it arrived the chips where warmed up that many times they had never seen a potato the chicken burger I couldn't even bite through that was cooked that many times it was so dry same with the chicken stripes it was cold. Was all wasted offered the dog and cats the chicken even they refused to eat it never again

Ordered last night half of order didn’t come and my wrap was cold £30 wasted!

I'm never going here again I got served waited and started to eat there were veins in my chicken and the batter that the chicken was in was stretchy absolutely vile.

Our regular Saturday night Pizza Place. Pizzas are lovely never had a problem with quality. Yes delivery can be around an hour on a busy night but so is anywhere else that is popular. I Order an hour before I want the food, Some weekdays my orders arrive within 30mins ask them a time they tell the truth. If you live nearby and don't want to wait go and collect. All in all Lovely staff and good hygiene observed by both shop and drivers.

My step mum ordered a chicken wrap and the wrap was soggy the chips tasted like cardboard and we payed extra for salad and all that was in the salad was lettuce very disappointed won’t be ordering from here again

The kids loved this place but lately they have seemed to have changed they way they cook the food or changed suppliers as it tastes totally different especially the chips kids didn't eat it the last time we went.

Shocking service ordered took well over an hour to arrive when I rang to ask where it was was told on its way because they were busy .Maybe they should inform when ordering an adequate waiting time so that we can decide if we want to wait that long .staff not very helpful .

I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for putting mayo on my mini fillet burger when it didn't even state on the menu it came with it on. I loved the rest of the meal but the burger had to go strait in the bin.

My partner and me ordered from here tonight and it was fab! It wasn’t greasy or cheap chicken either. The delivery was on time and the food was hot. We got everything we ordered too. Will definitely be ordering from here again!

Went here last night asked for x2 portions of chicken no chips and a chicken buns with extra coriander I know it says chicken stop but they advertised curry on there menuWe were told they didnt have coriander ok.no problem.its not end of world We ended up with x2 portions of chicken with chips I dispise chips hence not wanting any Not sure what the chicken buns was but it wasent that oh they gave me wraps n not chapatesWe deffo wont be going back.

Good food and all but it took nearly an hour to get here. When I called up after 45 mins the guy said he only just set off that's why three stars not four.and I only live round the corner 10 mins walk

Absolute shocking Went here last night for some food we have never eaten here before nor will we again We got a boneless mixed box at £7 The popcorn chicken was awful then 3 other small bits of chicken with way to many chips we will never eat here again In all honesty I think this place would do best to close its doors as its horrendous On the up side the dog ate it as in our opinion it's not fit for human beings Sorry for negative review but I am being honest

Just orders from here and the food is not described as on the menu it says marinated chicken in bbq then batterd and fried when i got it its just normal batterd chicken in a swimming pool of bbq sauce and was not even hot when arrived the chicken is clearly frozen because its that dry its like mutting out a 80 year old

Pizza Burger Chicken and Chips delicous

Just because my partner worked for these and no longer wanted to deal with people talking about her behind her back so she quit then we ordered tonight just for them to make us wait for 2 hours even after saying it would be an hour food come cold thank to Steve telling the driver to leave us while last there is no need

Ordered burgers and don't even come with chips as a standard. Not even a nice burger to say they are as expensive as they are. What a joke and what a rip off. Avoid at all cost no matter how hungry you are lol

First of I’ll iv ordered a few times it’s been ok apart from I paid £10 for two cookie dough ice creams and they sent me brownie and phish food instead rather than contacting me .. but that was only issue I had before today I paid for 2 burgers 2 chicken legs and a gravy .. I thought when you ordered burgers chips came too the only thing that came hot was the corn on the cob ..

Best pizzas in the village. They are quick to get your order to you and your delivery. Friendly staff and cheap prices

Constantly give you less than you order and always give you the wrong pop or side order. If you order a 12 piece they'll give you nine. If you order 6 you'll receive 4. It's theft by deception. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ORDER AS THEY AREN'T INTERESTED ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY.

Average food. Chicken is okay, not brilliant. I recommend the Popcorn chicken pizza minus the mushrooms. Or the maxi fillet burger. Anything else is a gamble based on quality

I been ordering from there for a while Staff always very friendly and delivery time app. 30 45 min . Just busy time bit different but I really enjoy it. I do recommend chicken popcorn pizza....
