Slightly overpriced Chicken but tastes good

Completely disagree with any negative comments. I understand businesses have "bad days" but I have been numerous times and it's always been perfection. I realise that there is more to your dining experience than just the "food" however it worked for me. I ordered via QR code which was quick and simple. You can order via the counter if you're unable. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Yes you did have to "hunt them down"...but it isnt table service so that is expected! Don't come here expecting the earth.. Food was ordered and came ridiculously quick which at first worried me..but it was pipping hot and tasted beautiful as usual. My favourite is bbq garlic..hoping that limited edition stays permanently.. Of course it was a little chaotic as it was busy but doesn't that speak for itself? A firm favourite of mine is the 4 chicken thighs. Me and my partner order one on its own and one with two sides. We then share the chips (two portions remember) options to order rolls or pittas for your chicken which are cheap. Every time we leave..we are full! Down side...the bottomless drinks are rancid...but every drink you can get from a tap is horrible..does the trick when you're eating hot food though!

The day after I had a great day out with an old friend visiting great pubs we frequented in the 80's as students, I spent the day with my partner showing her the sites. She chose here to eat. Usual tasty over-priced chicken and very over-priced chips. Service good. Lots of students who obviously have too much money these days or can't budget!

Definitely the worst meal out ever. Disgusting and vile. Never again. Wouldn't even feed it to a dog. For reference....pitta bread with chicken thighs....enjoy !

had high expectations. not fulfilled at all. 2.75 for still water? I don’t think so. Chicken wasn’t as great as i’ve been told had a lot of cartilage. My friend paid 8 pounds for one fist size chicken !! Staff weren’t the greatest either( speaking as someone who works in hospitality) i feel let down Congrats nando’s you’ve made me loose my sanity.

kids were excited to come on mums day off but left in tears. Terrible “service” if you could call it that, had me pouring my own drinks, should’ve been getting paid. Chicken was all bone and no home. Not pleased, will not be returning.

Was looking forward to my Nando’s all day, had the app ready, looked at the menu and decided what I wanted. Before cinema we left plenty of time to eat and wait etc as usually a little wait for a table. However didn’t even get to eat! Walked in and there was no queue at all, and loads of tables free so we thought ideal - to get told there was an hours wait for a table.. I’m confused. You can’t book here so no one has booked a table… and there’s no one waiting… and about 50% of the restaurant is taken and those people are eating…. Why is there an hours wait?! Left really fuming. Went and had Pizza Hut instead. Gutted.

The chicken is abit dry . Request to sit larger table . Due to short of staff we only allow to sit small table for five people. We order alot I can't even put my plate on the table . Not comfortable.

You can't go wrong with a Nando's and this restaurant certainly doesn't disappoint. However, it can get busy so if you want to eat inside it's wise to book ahead at busy times, like movie premiers and weekends. The service was efficient and friendly and we did not have to wait long for food, which was well prepared and up to nandos usual standard.

Ok so they have the chicken nailed - that’s true! Really well cooked and spiced. Everything else is very much a case of “If it’s not chicken, we couldn’t care less”. The rest of the items in the meal were just so dull and bland. No effort at all. Ordering via a qr code is great, until you need to ask something. And then no one is about. Which is odd as all they do is clean tables poorly, leave food on the floor and talk to each other. Yeah the chick is good - but not worth going to. Spend a bit more and get a lot more at many other places. If it were cheap, fine. But it’s not.

Always great customer service, quick, easy and fantastic food by Tash and her team. Toilets clean, was busy but wasn’t a long wait for food so chefs were on the ball. Forgot to add my points but went up after with receipt and they added them on. Dessert was brilliant.

Don’t go expecting to sit down quickly. Anything from 30 mins to an hour wait in your car, or being told out right they’re not seating anymore. Not a one off occurrence either, 4+ times in the last 6 months. Won’t bother at this branch again.

Arrived to have a meal before the cinema and as we can't book was pleased to walk in and see numerous empty tables but oh no a 45 to 50 minute wait Why? when the restaurant is half empty. Was unable to wait as wouldn't make the film. If you are going to have a restaurant that you can't reserve tables near a cinema then you need to be more organised or maybe more staff needed. Very disappointed and won't bother again.

You know what you're getting at Nando's. Fast service, very tasty, a bit on a pricey side for what it is.

We were told over a hours wait and it was empty, due to them having a lot of takeaway orders. the lady clearly didn’t want to serve us and didn’t hide this fact. we are a 2 adults and 3 children who eat with you all the time. I will not be returning to this restaurant. She asked if we wanted to wait the hour i said yes and she rolled her eyes.

I ordered on the website for collection for our staff at work and with lots of different options for wraps etc. arrived at 12.30 to be greeted by a lady and our food was ready and waiting. Brilliant. Then got asked if we wanted cutlery or sauces and napkins to which I said what we wanted and she handed me those things and sent me on my way. So polite and helpful. Only downside is the perinaise we ordered wasn’t in the bag but I can let that go as the service was flawless and a great easy experience. Well done Nando’s on your organisation and general customer service. Spot on. Food was good too 👍🏼

Quick stop to pick up a take away order. Food was ready on time and tasted great.

Great for a tasty quick meal. Slightly annoying when your starters and mains come at the same time. But all food was piping hot, delicious and really well presented. Reece was an excellent host, as was the young girl who was working. Lovely little spot for a nice meal out, and free parking outside so even better! We were seated straight away and, as always, the food was lush!!

Very friendly even through busy lunch period remained calm and happy. Food was cool, haven't been for about five years after bad experience. Much improved.

Saturday 25th. 4.15pm. Absolutely awful rude staff. The hostess blatantly lied to us. we waited over 40 mins with 3 small children to be texted when our table was ready after being told it would be a 30 min wait. Went back after 40 mins to be told they had texted us and because we didn’t return they would only put us to the back of the queue. We showed them our phone with no texts and they accused us of lying. I wish I’d got the hostesses name as she definitely does not deserve to have a job in hospitality. Her manner was disgusting

Proper Nando’s. Always packed. Always waiting. Both places always 20 mins max waiting time and they don’t take phone reservations. Why not open a bigger place than two tight coups?? The Plymouth Nando’s restaurants bring down the always good Nando’s experience elsewhere. Food is great but small restaurants make customers to rush when eating. On the day I was at Barbican Nando’s, they let in little chavs who were throwing drinking straws around and messing about with their food. I would advise you staff to be more assertive when it come to chavving within premises.

Chicken stringy and bun bases rock solid! Not good value for money. To be fair - asked if I wanted it recoiled - but declined - would be interested to see who their supplier was! Really just flavourless chicken disguised by hot sauce!

Came as a table of six, food was alright however was asked to pay via some QR Code table service. Fine. Didn't want to go through on the app so went to the counter as I usually would. Now I've paid over £100 twice and there's no way to refund me, I was told it'll be back in my account tomorrow. Now that's fine for me this month but who else would be able to pay £200 for nanos in this current climate until tomorrow?? The best bit.... Was told by the manager, oh sorry about that, it happens all the time!!! Just my opinion as a customer, maybe that bug should be fixed ASAP? Why is money being taken from a bank account for the order not to be going through? For such a big franchise, this is poor planning or money grabbing. Not sure which. Get it fixed.

Went with a friend and ordered a sharing platter for two which is the butterfly chicken and the chicken thighs with 4 sides. You order on the app now which is quick and easy so we did that, food was delivered to the table by the nicest man who even had a bit of a joke with us which was nice to see some personality there! Great times. Chicken was great as per usual and fries and corn on the cob was insane. I then ordered for collection too while I was there eating mine to bring some home for my partner. Quality was the same and it was ready dead on 6.50pm like the app said. Flawless

Visited with wife and child before going to the panto. We were quite early (17:00). Quickly seated, service was great and food was lovely. We did notice longer queues as we were leaving but all in all, great food, great service and a reasonable price. Thank You.

I had a favourite restaurant card bought for me in January, as I was a support worker at that time I was constantly working due to covid, so my wife suggested that we went to Nando’s this was my first time, I went to the counter to order my food , I told the waitress on arrival I had the card she said that it was fine to use it, but while at the counter ordering our food the machine was not working, I no the card was active as I checked it this morning, the person I presume was the manageress asked if I could pay another way I could have but I wanted to use my card before it went out of date, so she said we can’t get served this was very embarrassing, my wife and myself went to Frankie and bennys and used the card and spent nearly £100 on a lovely meal

How to mess up a business but guess they are happy delivering orders rather than running a restaurant! Loads of empty tables but informed 50 minutes wait due to back log on the grill. Had to go away and come back and wait for a text! Profit before customer service!

Went here at 5.30pm on Thursday and advised 20 minute wait front of house took name and number and was told we would be contacted by text. Despite there being several empty tables inside and all tables outside empty we were told we couldn’t wait outside but we had to leave the premises entirely. The woman was so rude that we did leave the premises and ate at a fantastic Vietnamese restaurant, Pho at royal William yard.

Charlie was our server and they were brilliant! Very friendly and was on the ball when letting us know about the slight delay in the kitchen. Was such a welcoming atmosphere, especially for the hot day.

Arrived 5.30 on a Sunday. Several tables available... but, advised back of house busy so 40 min delay. OK.... can we order a drink and wait the 40mins? Response... No because we would have to allocate a table number and we can't do that as...

Drove an hour to get there, was met at the door by a lovely woman with glasses (didn't get her name). That was our only positive experience. Same lovely woman explained that due to technical difficulties and a power cut, we had to wait 35...

Although the staff where very friendly, that lack of uniform was unprofessional. It would look and feel so much more professional if all staff had same uniform. The menus was ok, however the big billboard outside showed burgers and other foods that weren’t actually on...

Brilliant food and lovely service from Lorraine. We got in early before the lunch crowd and another waitress was politely telling customers about the 20 min wait and offering her help to organise them to come back later to eat.

We popped in mid week with our teenage son.The food was decent and the service was OK. There are good meat free options. The food and presentation won’t blow your mind but it’s better than a McDonalds or a ‘Spoons meal.As an adult I wouldn’t normally choose to eat here and there are plenty of lovely independent restaurants nearby.For kids and teenagers it’s alright.

Whats not to love. Its spicy chicken. I came here with a mate and was met by a beautiful friendly young lady called Shanade, who greeted us with a smile and talked us through what to do and how to order (as it is all table service)The food came quickly and she came to check on us to see if all was well.We came, we ate, we left. Only negative is i eat so much i can hardly stand up to leave!

I've ordered a couple of times through Deliveroo now and it really is a hit and miss. Sometimes the food is decent and other times, the chips are very soggy and the chicken is dry. The food is not very consistent quality.

There were items missing from our order this evening. We had ordered chicken pita chips and peas. We did not get the peas.

Visited this fairly new restaurant in a recent development in Plymouth known as The Barcode.It was our first visit at the invitation of a friend to celebrate his birthday.We were not impressed.The menu was difficult to understand and one had to go to the bar to order each course.The food was plentiful but dry and not overly warm.Not for us in the future but the mainly younger clientele seemed to be enjoying it and our birthday boy was happy.

Significantly Long wait times ( at least 40 mins ) to be seated , very frustrating for the customer when there are clearly empty tables dotted around the restaurant ( but not cleaned or otherwise ‘ not allowed to be used ‘ according to one waitress !! ) the restaurant was packed ( apart from empty tables ! ) but only 1 person working the tills out of 3 till positions available so there is another queue again to order once you eventually get your table - food was great when it came out but only after another 35-40 minute wait , one lady with 3 small children was waiting almost an hour for her food to come out and her children were so hungry and upset . Won’t be going again , such a shame

My daughter & I had Lunch yesterday & our meals were delicious! It was my 1st visit to your lovely restaurant & I will definitely be visiting again! The service was excellent too! Thankyou.... I would recommend it.

We visit several Nando’s across the country and Plymouth is notorious for having to queue for a table, queue to place your order and then queue for drinks and sauces. Far too small for the amount of tables.

3 adults 2 children. Good food, fairly quick considering they were exceptionally busy. Some of the reviews aren't great but we had no complaints. Never been to Nando before, great place for mid day lunch, early tea....definitely not an evening out place. Would we go back? Sure would.

You know what you are going to get although Nandos do tend to vary from place to place. This is a good one. Staff are very friendly, service very fast and food always excellent. Would recommend to anyone. Love it.

Went here for a birthday meal with kids in tow. 1st meal came out 25 minutes before the last finally arrived which dry as hell. Which was a bloody salad. Staff unapologetic. If we didn't have to pay beforehand I wouldn't. What a shambles this place is. Staff lying down on empty seats. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS CESSPIT

Visited on a busy Friday. The food arrived 30 mins after ordering. Unfortunately, the chicken was dry and slightly burnt which was not a good impression. There was also too much peri-salt on the chips which made the top layer too salty and inedible. Would not return back again.

Visited on Thursday 7th November. Had planned a quick trip to Nando’s for collection, however they were shut at 10pm, before their online time (11pm). Upon arriving we had seen their updated closing times on the door (10.30pm). Still disgraceful! If you state your closing time as 10.30pm, close at 10.30pm!! Staff had already closed and were taking off their uniforms, I wonder how much earlier they had closed their doors for? i

This Nando’s has only been open for just over a week and the brand has already attracted many visitors to the new Barcode cinema and restaurant complex in Plymouth. The whole complex is worth a visit however I am tasked to talk about Nando’s. I was introduced to the restaurant by my grandson who had a passion for the taste and choice provided by this chain.i was not disappointed as if focuses on chicken and the many different spices that have been developed to complement the meal. Having read through the menu I took the advice of the very efficient and friendly waitress who carefully went through the many choices and helped me to make my selection. I was not disappointed and I look forward to the opportunity of working my way through the rest of the menus in the months ahead. Keep it up Nando’s.The food was delicious and the staff a real asset. Look after them.

I ordered a Butterfly Burger with Chips and they have me a plain butterfly chicken with chips and I only ate it because I am a Austrian with decency at eating!!! This is unbelievable!!! The chicken thing was only a little bit good! I only don’t write in caps because it is not allowed on trip advisor!!!

En primer lugar, admito que llegamos a las 7 pm el viernes por la noche, así que sabía que estaría ocupado. Sin embargo, nos sentamos en 5 minutos, un buen comienzo. Una camarera nos preguntó si habíamos comido en Nandos antes y le dije que no. Ella solo nos dio los menús y dijo "sube y ordena cuando estés listo". El sistema de cola es un desastre, 3 cajas abiertas, realmente no hay sistema, solo elige una cola y salta cuando la próxima caja se libere, las chicas en la caja no van a decir nada. Cuando hicimos el pedido, nos dieron 3 vasos vacíos, pero no nos dijeron dónde está la máquina de bebidas, solo resuélvelo tú mismo. La mesa en la que nos sentamos estaba justo al lado de las cajas, tan constante junto a ti, ¡qué relajante! Agregue a eso una constante qu en el centro de la habitación que todos observan a la gente comer. Tenga en cuenta que no habíamos estado antes de que la camarera no nos dijera que subiéramos y eligiéramos diferentes salsas, gracias por la ayuda. Después de 50 minutos de estar sentados junto a un qu llegó nuestra comida. Pequeña poción de papas fritas, buen pan de ajo, ¿pero la mitad de un pollo? Realmente, quizás el pollo más pequeño del mundo. Tamaño de porción muy pobre por el precio. También era tan ruidoso en el lugar donde no podía hablar con mi hijo sentado frente a mí.

Had the sharing platter for 4-6 people for around £45. The food was great like always. I always order the peri-salted chips, which is a must try. Also, the service was quick even though it was very busy.

Me encantó la comida, pero el lugar donde nos sentaron fue un verdadero cuello de botella en el nicho plantado justo en el centro del restaurante y mi compañera hizo que ella y su silla fueran golpeadas tantas veces por el personal que llevaba comida caliente y los clientes que llevaban bebidas y justo detrás ella era un bebé en una silla alta que también fue golpeada varias veces. El área de asientos requiere un cambio leve para que otros clientes no tengan que soportar esto con la posibilidad de quedar cubiertos con una comida o bebida caliente y arruinar su primera experiencia en Nando's como lo hizo con la mía. Calificación promedio solo porque la comida era buena pero hubiera sido excelente si la experiencia fuera mejor.

El pollo está bien preparado, sabroso y único. Es un cambio bienvenido de la comida frita.

If you happen to enjoy the crap they serve, then fine. I found the chicken pieces my grandkids and I had tiny servings, tasted like cardboard. Best pert of the meal was eaving.

We visited this Nando’s after going to the cinema. Didn’t have to wait long at all to be seated. Good service and food was nice. It was a typical Nando’s busy but doesn’t affect service. A nice meal.

Myself and my friends were impressed by Nando’s at the Barbican Leisure Park on a busy Saturday night. We were told there would be a wait of 30mins for table, it was only about 15mins. Then we were served at the ordering counter by a delightful lady named Lorraine. She was helpful, warm, and came across like she genuinely cared. She explained there may be a wait of 30mins for food. It arrived in about 10mins, it was cooked perfectly and as always was a tasty feast before the cinema. The place was so busy with people arriving and waiting for tables but it appeared to run extremely efficiently to meet this demand.

Standard Nando’s food but this restaurant always seems to be dirty. When mentioning to staff the response is ‘sorry about that’ not good enough. There is no need for dirty chairs and sticky tables. Food was nice and quick though.

My first visit ever to Nandos, Saturday night so I expected it to be busy, it was very busy. The older waitress seemed nice and chatty, when showing us to our table, and we got seated quite quickly. She explained briefly how the sauces worked, but didn't say we needed to go up and order. On ordering the person behind the counter young woman, had attitude was abrupt and rude, and made me on my first visit feel very unwelcome. The food took longer to come than other tables, and when it came we had to go back up twice because they got our order wrong. Food very overpriced for what it is, and not much quantity. When waitress asked if everything was ok, I said it was a bit of a shambles as our order was messed up, she laughed. Another waitress came to collect our plates asking if we were finished, when we said not yet she looked at us like dirt and rolled her eyes. Rude, made to feel unwelcome, overpriced, won't be coming here again!!!!

Pedimos comida para recoger en su sitio web en línea. Después de hacer el pedido y recibir la confirmación, nos dijeron que la comida estaría lista para las 8 pm. Llegamos a las 8 esperando que estuviera tranquilo para un miércoles por la noche (que era). Les dijimos que habíamos llegado a recoger y nos sentamos. Después de 30 minutos de espera, decidimos preguntarnos dónde estaba nuestra comida, ya que las personas que venían después de nosotros comían y ya tenían comida. Resulta que la comida estaba esperando debajo del mostrador de comida caliente y cuando la señora de la cocina fue interrogada, se echó a reír, sin un buen servicio. Luego tuvimos que esperar a que se volviera a cocinar, ya que hacía frío. Lo que asumo fue que el gerente escuchó la conversación, pero ni una sola vez vino a disculparse. El personal de la cocina tenía el pelo levantado, sin embargo, no todos tenían un sombrero que lo cubriera, por lo que no me sorprendería que se encontraran pelos en la comida de forma regular. Cuando regresamos a casa para comer (a 10 minutos), las papas obviamente no estaban recocidas y estaban empapadas, el pan de ajo era demasiado difícil de morder, pero la hamburguesa era buena. La señora que nos atendió por primera vez, que parecía nueva, era con mucho el mejor miembro del personal allí. Visitamos esta rama de Nandos para el almuerzo. Siempre está ocupado y generalmente los fines de semana tienes que esperar por una mesa.

Visited this restaurant with friends, food was over priced & mediocre for what we got,I had butterfly chicken which was a one small chicken breast and cold fries, we paid for a bottomless glass but the drinks machine was playing up and the manager( with attitude ) refused to sort it out or refund the £2.90. So only got one very watery coke... So only giving 1 * for most of the lovely bubbly staff.

Arrived after pictures, got seated, we made our choice, I went to the till with our order to be told all sold out only boned chicken, so asked for two 1/4 chicken with a side each, when they arrived I asked if a leg is classed as a 1/4 of a chicken, and I was told it was classed.

Can't believe my son has found not only a piece of plastic in his wrap before now, but now to top it all off has found a used plaster.come on nandos plymouth barbican sort your staff out PLEASE this is disgusting.

Fresh food service. Tasty chicken with all different Nando’s sauce. Peri salted chips. They Can improve bit more customer service. Overall good place to eat.

Superb food 2 of our group were Nando virgins they will definetly be visiting again. Staff were really excellent customer service 5* especially Dom who served us and Lorraine would chatted & gave advice on menu. Superb team This Nandos definetly ambassadors for the company

I went there with my wife and daughter and was really surprised with the great service we received. The staff was really nice and friendly and looked after us. The restaurant looked nice and clean. The toilets were clean. The food was good as always so thanks again and maybe so you again when I’m in Plymouth again.

Just after 9pm, we fancied something to eat. Chiquitos had extractor fan issues and wasn't on a full menu, in fact it was a very restricted menu, so we opted for Nandos. We entered the restaurant and there were several staff and the restaurant was quite busy, but not overly so. We stood and waited and waited. A staff member was clearing tables and easily had us in sight, but opted to not acknowledge our presence. She then served a table, again we were in sight, but there was no smile or a, "I won't be a moment". We seriously considered leaving, but as we were just about to go, we were greeted by the same staff member and offered a table, she did apologise for the wait. She refreshed our memories on how to place our order and where to get cutlery etc and left us to it. We quickly made our choices and went to the till to order. It was clear the poor guy on the till was new and was struggling with how everything was done. For a Monday night the complex was extremely busy and with one restaurant down, the nearest were clearly picking up the slack, so this poor guy had had a busy baptism that night. We'd opted for the roulette wings for starters, we both were puzzled when asked for sides and we repeated, we wanted it as a starter, so no sides, as no sides were stated on the menu for it. We were then asked how hot we wanted it, again we were both puzzled, surely the whole point of the dish was a mixture of heats and some poor person getting the hot one, clearly not the case. He ended up with two staff members helping him to take the order. The chef, who had come over to help, even asked how we wanted them, conceding defeat, we said we didn't mind a bit of spice. Luckily there were no issues over the main or the drinks. So we got our drinks and settled down to chat about the film we'd seen and wait our starter. It arrived quite promptly and piping hot. One dish between the pair of us, I thought we might have had plates to pop them on. Trying to handle the hot starter from the middle of the table was a little tricky, but we managed. My partner said he had a spicy one, but overall our experience was that they were all the same. However tasty they were, this was a bit of a let down. Our mains arrived shortly after we'd finished the last wing. We'd both opted for the fino pitta. The combination of the spicy chicken thigh and the grilled halloumi was very enjoyable. The sides did lack choice and we opted for two spicy chips, a coleslaw and the spicy rice. When served there was a good plate full and I did struggle and didn't manage to eat all of mine. We'd opted for soft drinks with our meal and these you can refill as many times as you wish. Interesting to see the sugar tax implemented in the pricing, but honestly, how many would pay the extra, when you can pay the lower and still have the full sugar version at serve. This had been commented on at the till, by the staff member. We both however were on the sugar free drinks. Whilst we were eating, I did notice a staff member at the condiments stand. They were cleaning the various sauce bottles. Lids off to get the residue from the screw top on the neck of the bottle, this in itself a contamination risk, but she was also tipping sauce from bottles into other bottles to make the levels up and to be able to discard the empty one. This is a big cross contamination issue and mixing up of date coded products, I was shocked, but not altogether surprised too see this. We were both quite glad we'd not opted for the sauces. We both love Nandos, but I'm not sure if we'd come back to this one.

9 of us went in for my Hubby's birthday. There was nothing on the menu for the children but chips. I ordered plain chicken fillets n chips, it was barely a mouth full of meat. No-one enjoyed their meals, apart from my son in law with a bucket for a stomach! Tertoble food for the rest, which took an eternity to arrive.

My first visit with grandchildren who eat here frequently. Late afternoon meal before cinema and restaurant was packed. The menu is quite complicated at first glance and there is a lot of self-service - ordering and paying at the till; fetching own condiments, cutlery and napkins; serving own (soft) drinks from machine. However service is efficient and staff are friendly. My butterfly chicken breast with a mango and lime topping was delicious and not too spicy; the chips were hot, tasty and plentiful and the coleslaw was chunky and home-made. All in all a very good fast food restaurant and I will be back!

As a first time visit to Nando’s, the food was fine and as expected for the price but everything else seemed a shamble. The waitress that greeted and seated us was very awkward and kept laughing to herself. When showing us to the first table she realised it hadn’t been cleaned (I presumed by the look of it) so walked back and sat us at a different one, making no conversation at all or explaining why she had done this. The restaurant was not busy at all. When we went to order she had to ask us the table number even though she had just seated us. Whilst taking the order she didn’t really speak, no thank you at the end of the order. She asked if we wanted diet or full fat drinks and laughed awkwardly saying she doesn’t know why she has to ask us this. She forgot to give us the glasses for our drinks. We were not meal checked, the very basics of waitressing. The ‘chefs’ did not have chef whites on, the same uniform as waiting staff. The lady who I presume was some kind of management (she had different clothing on) had her hair down for about 5minutes whilst being stood about 2ft away from kitchen. Waitresses were chatting whilst clearing tables together, when there were multiple tables to clear. I could hear kitchen staff and the lady in polka dot Nando’s top talking about the tv programme TOWIE whilst food was being cooked. Staff entering into restaurant to gets drinks out of dispenser, one in uniform and one not and just standing down the corridor still in view. Staff continued chatting, no one cleared our plates from table. No one said goodbye on our exit. These are very basic things. When on the restaurant floor, behind the counter and in the open kitchen the customers can see and hear everything you are saying and doing.

I didn't realise the chicken would come with the skin on but this is how they flavour it. Everything about the experience was ok, get your own soft drink refills, more of a snack bar bistro than restaurant - a lot of students and younger teenagers. Would not return as I didn't really enjoy what I had or the taste of what some of my family had.

Visited after cinema. Have never been before, but had a sneaky look at menu online and thought as a veggie there were plenty of options!

Great food, great service. Server asked us if we had been to Nandos before? We had, but in own home town. Bright and airy. Great hosts and waiting staff smiling, you should come to our local Nandos and train the staff there !!! A great experience x
