Big Breakfast in Plymouth

Had a roast beef today was lovely big portions and a good price

Looks like a dive (needs a paint inside) but o.m.g the mega breakfast was amazing so big it could be shared. Will try a roast dinner from them soon

I fancied a breakfast so gave this place a call only to find out they are not doing them only roasts. Can I suggest they change the name. Seems stupid to have that name when they are not selling breakfasts.

Ordered a roast for 3, and thought for the price," I doubt whether it will be up to much." What a surprise as the meal far outweighed our expectations. Plenty of meat, well cooked, veg not over cooked, and gravy 😋 which actually had flavour to it. Good home cooked food and will use again. Thank you.

Went for a big breakfast, but not the best tbh..cafe needs a lick of paint and modernisation.

Amazing food, jaw dropping prices (I have no idea how they manage to keep the prices so low!). Service with a smile, couldn't find a better breakfast cafe in Plymouth!

Stay away , ordered food come 1 hour late it was horrible I would rather of had a blue stipe micro meal from tesco

Took 2 hours! To be delivered and it was just a standard breakfast, the delivery driver had a right attitude on him, I said took abit of a while mate, he said I don't care ain't my problem haha..yeah that's great service 🤡 So yeah its a shame, wouldn't bother again.

Great little full English cafe. Great way to start our day, also the service was great, everyone was helpful polite and generous. If you are looking for an English Brekky just go here honestly.

Waited two and half hours, although it was expected to be 1. Only live about 10 mins away. Called them and were very unhelpful. Would only recommend if you don’t like eating your food.

Excellent food but the 1.5 - 2+ hour delivery is poor! Ordered a few times as the food is great especially the breakfasts, but delivery time has always been at least 90 mins.

Just had a roast beef delivered, the delivery was a little late but wow was it worth the wait. Food was hot, tasty and loads if it. Really pleased with it. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Had a Sunday roast delivered, very disappointed expecially for the price. I ate the roast only because I was hungry and not because it was enjoyable. Cost £15 with a can of drink and delivery so is more expensive than going out for a carvery.. the gammon was grey in colour. awful quality of vegetables which is usually my favourite part. (Sorry for the half eaten picture just wanted to show the quality of the veg) The staff are lovely in this place and this is no reflection on them I was just very disappointed in the Sunday roast

Just had a Full English from The Big Breakfast! What a Joke! More like from a child's menue! And it took well over hour to be delivered! By the time it arrived it was cold! Big Disappointment! Definitely won't be getting my Breakfast from them in the future! 😡

Had a big breakfast it's worth having it certainly fills you up the staff were very friendly and most importantly they were very polite.

Great slap up greasy spoon style cafe, the breakfasts are spot on, you can pay cash or card /apple pay Friendly, welcoming service from the waitresses / kitchen staff, spot on!

Overall ok, bog standard breakfast with bog standard food, soggy and luke warm on arrival, eggs like rubber. Wont be ordering a breakfast delivery again. 16pound is way too expensive (i had to buy chips and gravy as min 10 delivery. The sausage taste good but the breakfast was poor quality and disappointing. Bit like fish and chips, need to eat in for a better experience. 6/10.

Lovely little place, great veggie breakfast the veggie sausages where amazing !!!! 👏 we had two normal breakfasts as well and everyone cleaned their plates, great value for money and very quick service !!

Food very good but was told 1 hour and it took 2, some food still hot but some cold. Would definitely order again if they sort out the times as we would not have ordered today if we knew it was 2 hours as my friend had to go somewhere.

Placed an order through just eat 2 hours not turned up staff lied when ask for an update and management couldn't care, do not waste your time order from some one else

We grabbed something for breakfast as we were busy. What a disappointment. I've never known bacon to literally taste of nothing. The sausage & egg bap was OK, I was already expecting a cheap sausage as it is what it is, a caf. But the most alarming thing was that we were sticking to the carpet while we waited which took us back to some dodgy clubs back in the day. Bear in mind that we haven't been able to dine in anywhere for a long time so why was there coffee or tea stains on window ledges, the carpet (aside from being sticky) hasn't seen a hoover for a good while & the whole place was generally looking in a very sorry state. Let's be real, it's a cafe that isn't high end, it's aimed at the lower end of the market. That is fine. But cleanliness is everything. This place is dirty. We were worried about what we had ordered & just hoped the kitchen was cleaner than front of house. Kitchen staff weren't wearing masks either. Come on guys, cleanliness is everything in this business & this place needs dragging in to the 21st century. Its unloved & needs some tlc.

Didn't even get our food. Waited over an hour so called up and was told my wrap hadn't even been made yet. By this point it was too late to order from somewhere else.

I had the misfortune of ordering a sunday roast from this place. The potatoes were cooked days ago and reheated, the veg if you can call it that was very obviously out of a tin, the stuffing balls were from a bag of frozen ones, as were the comically tiny roast puddings. The gravy was basically bisto gravy granules and the meat had zero taste at all. And the put PEAS in it, Who the HELL puts peas on a roast dinner? This was delivered to us in cheap styrofoam packaging too. The whole meal is put together using the cheapest and poorest quality ingredients they could find down at Aldi. How a premises think they can get away with serving atrociously bad food such as this I really don't know. Dear reader do NOT order food from this place!

This could easily be a 4 star because the food is decent but their time keeping is awful. Always late when collecting food. I phoned this morning at 0830 for 2 all day breakfasts to be collected at 1030. So that was 2 hours notice for not a big order. It wasn’t ready until nearly 1100. Sorry BB unless I hear you have started improving your timekeeping, I won’t be returning. Have given you too many chances.

Very large breakfasts for cheap prises

Took nearly 2 hours to arrive. Cauliflower cheese was stuck in the shape of the tub, beef was dry, NO GRAVY. Didn't have any at home so then had to wait another half an hour for that. Finally I heat up mt awful stupidly expensive roast dinner. Never again, im hungover and literally cried. A fresh roast would of been nice.

Waited 2 and a half hours for a breakfast that never arrived. Guess you guys were taking the day off or something? Great place to order a breakfast if you like to eat breakfast in the late afternoon I suppose.

The who was serving and cooking was very helpful and polite. Looked a little stressed as he was on his own.

Previously had good experiances but on this occasion ordered breakfasts for the family for delivery. Quite a few items was missing (2 black pudding,2portions of mushrooms, 2 eggs 2 hash browns 1 sausage 1portion fried bread) =£7.40. so called TBB and was told that there was no possible way any items could be missed, and refused to send the items or refund and said there is nothing they can do. Also while my partner was trying to sort this out on the phone the food that was sent, went cold and everyone lost their appetite. Its no fun eating when one person is without. So unfortunately will not be ordering again.

Very delicious food in generous portions at a reasonable price. One of if not the best place in Plymouth to get a breakfast and a roast dinner delivered quickly piping hot. A favourite place of ours to order from.

Although food is amazing, did a delivery at 2:15 and was estimated to get here for 3:15, however it is still not here so been waiting for an 1hr and 20mins baring in mind it's only 2 breakfasts 😡

Ordered food for collection to be told 30 minutes got to the cafe where had to wait a futer 20 mins. Left realised my breakfast missing lots of items took food back was sworn at by one of the men working. No manners arguing amounst themselves. Avoid!

Good hot full English at a very good price.

Ok so the toast was brought to the table still hot and with plenty of butter. Then the breakfast. It looked ok. The eggs were done nicely and the bacon was ok. The beans were like bullets and the sausages... well lets just say they were the worst I’ve ever had. They were like pate stuffed in a sausage skin. They were of very low quality. Needless to say I couldn’t eat most of it. The cafe itself was filthy and had a-lot of flies. This place needs a good clean. I don’t know how they got a hygiene rating of 4. I would rate it a 2 maximum.

Good food at an excellent price

Visited with my girlfriend this morning after a night in Plymouth. Food was fairly low quality but for the price you can’t complain. Nice little cafe but hospitality as people skills have a little space for improvement. Good for hangovers

Lovely breakfast, good menu and reasonably priced.

Excellent Full English with very runny eggs, bubble and squeak, washed down with good strong tea, plus toast with marmalade.

Chris Evans wasn't there but made love to Gabby Roslin between a full English and a round of toast. Both were gorgeous but Gabby smelt of cigarettes.

Hot dog for a pound so small it took a search party to find it in the bun! asked for onions 80p extra wasn't even a slices worth must be hand picked extra special range.

Day off work, fancied a breakie. Had a gander on Trip advisor and read about this little place. Lovely little cafe, nice decor etc. Loved the Londobln theme they have going. Staff were nice, not particularly chatty but pleasant. Ordered 2 all day breakfasts, came with toast and tea/coffee.. Didn't wait very long. Food was nice, decent size portion. Would go back again.

We came to you for breakfast on Monday, food was gorgeous (all grilled not fried brilliant bonus) atmosphere fab, staff were lovely, great with kids. Highly recommended

On the other hand, if a comfortable, traditional style cafe eatery with a good menu, friendly staff and value for money food floats your boat, load up your tom-tom and come on down! The standard menu (with 3 different breakfast options) will cater to most tastes, but don;t forget to ask about the special of the day, having sampled the cottage pie,Madras curry and beef stew on various visits - Give it a go!

What a fab find was recommended this place so thought I give it a try ... place was clean fresh butchers sausages staff really friendly and helpful food hygiene of five what more can you want ..

Always come in with my three children always welcomed, prices very reasonable, for quality home made food! Always very clean!

This cafe opened under new management, so thought we,d give it a try....well weren't,t we surprised...the food was first class along with the service received....I know a lot of places praise their breakfast but this was the best we have had...highly recommend this little gem.....We will most certainly be heading there soon to try the lunches on offer......
