Food was great (although eggs were slightly over done and not as much choice as previously) milk shakes are awesome. Worth a visit 👍

Great place to chill and have lots of food and drink for a good price. No need to book. Just turn up and order. Wide variety of breakfasts to choose from plus wraps, sandwiches, grills, curries and even salads.

Great breakfast, some people might find it a bit tight spaced but if you can get to the back it's cozy there, one of these days I'll try to attend the quizzes 👍

Food was nice, burgers were great especially with the extra burger patty chucked in :) cheesy chips perfectly melted, cost similar to other places but that’s not a bad thing, super friendly family staff, came at a slow time but the atmosphere is nice

New owners are lovely, came at a slow time so bit quiet, food was nice, cheesy chips were actually melted and not just shredded cheese on chips, cost about the same as other places around here, though the extra burger patty in one of our burgers was good :) please bring back the big nachos, they were the best

I have always enjoyed a visit to Goodbody's. This visit was no exception. I love the booths that sit at the edges of the dining area. The staff are always friendly.

Staff were really friendly and the service was good. The food is very cheap and big portions. Good for students. Big chunky chips but curry was not to my taste.

I waited an hour and a half for a meal that never arrived. After going up to the bar to ask what the situation was it transpired that they had forgotten about my meal all together. Before hand I hand to remind the barman to make my cocktail that I had ordered. No more than 3 weeks before this, I had visited Goodbody’s for breakfast. I had waited for nearly 45 minutes, and when it arrived it was the wrong meal. Never visit this place.

Great peace amazing food and great staff had a breakfast nd coffee and loved it. Atmosphere is great and the staff really care my favorite there so far is the Lexi burger really recommend that. The milkshakes are awesome to all in all a great little cafe it's as if it never left

didnt eat so can't score but food looked good from what I seen. i had coffee which was OK , glad it's back . Worth a visit

Well today was an experience. Myself and my daughter had curry, chips and Nan bread. The curry was disgusting it was more peas than any thing. Nan was fried( thats a new experience in my all my years never had a fried nan bread 🤷‍♀️. Chips where cold. Will never be a return trip from us. Wish I could add pics.

Great spot for breakfast. Loads of other tasty food as well, mine was a breakfast visit. I did see they also serve a selection of milkshakes that are definitely worth a try ☺️

Third visit since the reopening, the atmosphere food and staff are amongst the best that goodbodys has ever had to offer. And they offer some of the tastier vegetarian options on mutley

0 stars all we could sense when we walked in was an overwhelming smell of cat piss, walked straight out

3rd visit since it re opened. First visit both food and staff were good, second staff lovely, but food not quite as good. 3rd and last visit, one member of staff was downright rude, argued over a wrong order, which even though she was proved wrong, continued to have an attitude about.. and let the rest of the team down. Unfortunately food was only luke warm and not very nice at all.

Such kind and considerate staff! We were walking past Goodbodys cafe and our 3 year old tripped over and hurt his knee. He was screaming loudly and a member of staff rushed out; they helped us inside, got the first aid kit so we could clean up our little boy and helped cheer him up. Excellent customer service and such kindness

Well on entering the restaurant I was looking forward to but this very quickly change but thought no let’s just see Well clearly there is a few issues which maybe due to be being understaffed at a busy time with the kitchen not keeping up with the demand . There appeared to be an issue with running out of milk which at first I found amusing but after a while it was clear there was other problems. Just eat orders were stopped but the kitchen did not improve & I felt sorry for the staff member who continuously said sorry to everyone. The coffee I ordered appeared to be in a tea cup & was cold the pot of tea came with no milk but the was a small pot of milk from the previous customer so we used that instead . After 45 minutes the breakfasts arrived minus hash browns so after asking for our missing items they turned up but clearly deap fried & full of fat , the breakfast was cold so I decided to not eat & told a member of staff , I did not want a refund but hopefully this place will improve & it’s just early days but unfortunately I’m back to Weatherspoons so good luck

Had a burger, all day breakfast and a milkshake all for 14.50, really good food and drinks and the staff are proper friendly. Would definitely recommend

I understand Goodbodys has just reopened but we waited an hour for a breakfast then decided to leave, because there were still two tables waiting in front of us. How hard is it to cook breakfasts. It's all about the prep! I hope you get on top of it for the future!

This is my 3rd time visiting the infamous Goodbodys, since it has reopened, bringing back some great memories from my clubing day's. The new owners have brought back the good vibe, with great food, which has always been hot and tasty, loving the pints of tea and coffee, and milkshakes with a great choice (bounty for me, yum ), staff were lovely. Not getting the bad reviews but hey, it's only just opened and I'm sure there will be teething problems, after all Rome wasn't built in a day. I personally have thoroughly enjoyed my visits and will be back soon. Well done everyone, good effort 👌 ooo and love the goodbodys rubber ducky so cute and limited additions brilliant xxx

Not alot to say other than the food here is absolutely wonderful. Tasty, generous helpings. All accompanied by a great team of friendly staff. Recommend the roast dinner, American Breakfast and Very goodfiller Breakfast. Knickerbocker Glory is also a sweet treat :)

First visit since the reopening and the service was brilliant, had the £8 breakfast and it defeated me this time! All cooked to order at a good price! Will definitely be back, well done guys, I wish you all the success! Support local!

Waited over an hour for three breakfasts. When it eventually arrived, no eggs, no toast, beans and tomatoes were cold, bacon burnt and hash browns very over done. Also order 2 pots of tea only got one even after requesting the second. Was glad to get out of there and will never go back.

We went to this place as it's been shut for quite a while and it must say it brought back so many memories ordered a roast selection of 3 different meats (I had all of them ) 😂 and what a roast it was when it came out fully cooked properly home.made Yorkshire puddings the plate was full struggled to eat it all taste was banging and for the price it's an absolute bargain topped off with a few cheeky cocktails and why not buy 1 get 1 free highly recommend this to anyone

Have heard about this place, it closed for a wee while, but now it has opened again and what a great place! Had a really great time, great atmosphere, nice owners and reasonably priced. I like the decor, very funky! :)

After 3 long years the goodbody’s that the people of Plymouth missed so much is finally open ! And it does not disappoint the place is exactly as I remember The food was second to none and so was the service long live goodbody’s

Had never been to this place before but heard a lot about how it used to be. I have to say I wasn't disappointed! There was a great atmosphere in there, the breakfast was awesome and I tried one of the legendary milkshakes. I'll definitely be going again and I'll bring some friends too.

Its been a long time since we were here but after today we'll be back. Such a lovely bloke running it now! He went above and beyond for my son on his birthday and I can't thank him enough. 10/10 for customer service (and still cheap as chips.)

Had a very bad experience as here has made me ill, I had a breakfast and it wasn't hot enough and there was no check backs and when questioned nothing was done to make any changes. WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE BACK. Wanted to give it zero but wasn't an option.

Interesting cafe with lots of atmosphere. Staff wonderfully flexible in catering for my grandchildrens' meal requests, involving changes to the set menu,which makes it worth revisiting

My first visit for me with my family, the place had only just re-opened after being closed for a while and was under new management. The service we received throughout our visit was excellent, very welcoming. We ordered the burgers and my sister-in-law ordered the large breakfast, omg it was large. All food served was freshly cooked and delicious. What an experience, worth a visit, will definitely be going back.

Stopped for lunch with my niece and nephew, and was not disappointed. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was well cooked and really enjoyable. Glad you’re open again! Will be back soon!!

Visited for the first time in Oct 2022 with my family.i had a really decent fry up which was plentiful and really nicely cooked. The staff were great really helpful and lovely relaxed atmosphere. And a bargain at £8 for a really big plate full, will definitely be returning in the near future.

It was my first time in Goodbody's cafe today and I was not disappointed, it had a good atmosphere and quirky design inside. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and on top of that it was very reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning

Our work team of 6 visited today for breakfast. We all had the large breakfast and it was exactly that, large. The waitress gave us a minute to settle in and was attentive. Our drinks order was quickly served followed by our breakfast. No moans here, all enjoyed the food and also the ambiance. Well done and will definitely be back with a larger group.

Frendly staff, great food at great prices, good deals such as kids eat free with an adult meal, 10% off when argyle are at home for merchandise wearing fans and burger and beer for £10, well recommened

Nice English breakfast I had. It was so lovely and yummy. The setting is calm and lovely inside. Staff wants to make sure you leave happy so they follow up after you had an order and enjoying it.

Sorry but still not up to spec . Sausages were over cooked, eggs too over cooked on one side ? , Menu was very limited. Coffee was ok but I took an age to get food and the restaurant was virtually empty. This place still needs work and hopefully in a year or two it will get there but they need to learn to cook rather than cremate and that will be safe approach. Visit 6/8/22 @ 11 am

Been a few years since ive been here and probably will be a few more before i go back. The decor doesnt seem to have changed but the menus have no longer selling the likes of Scottish or American breakfasts Normal white coffee wasnt hot and the order came out incorrect even though simple enough (no mushrooms on one) but the came out on the wrong one. That said the food was cheap enough and was tasty but i feel i wont be back in there for a long time again.

Ordered breakfast with family kids got there’s waited an hour .half hour after kids got there’s they said messed up girl started taking food off plates and putting on other plates I had to go used all my lunch break up under staffed not good won’t be going back again

Very good. I had a standard breakfast, so pleased I didn't have the large, I'd still be there!!! Prices good, mainly aimed at the student market, who cares I can ride the same bus. Enjoy

Came in for a quick brunch, had a farmhouse standard and a farmhouse large breakfast for myself and partner. She's lactose intolerant, however the staff were amazing, plenty of dairy free options to choose from and we were well looked after!

A lot of less items to choose from Milkshakes were significantly smaller and very smooth

Brand new management. Amazing atmosphere, even on a hot day lile this. The waiter was really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, I wouls go back there again. Highchair available if you have a child with you.

Great value and tasty food. Highly recommend the "Cold Jump Start" for a hair of the dog. Basically a mug of espresso martini and it worked wonders for my hangover.

Was told half hour wait. then we was waiting 1 hour so asked how long it is going to be then they told us 2 minutes then 20 minutes later food come out with three items missing. Never seen so many people get a refund and walk out. Not sure what the wait was about as it wasn’t even busy. On the other hand the waitresses was lovely.

So glad to see goodbodys back and they're even better than before! As they had only recently reopened and today was their busiest day, we were informed there would be a long wait for the food which myself and my partner were fine with. Perfect brews while we waited and the breakfasts were worth the wait! Friendly service also thank you, looking forward to coming back again :)

Haven’t been to Goodbody’s in awhile. Decided to go back and I have to say I love the new layout. Good breakfast. Beth our server was lovely nothing was too much and thank you to Rachel who cooked our breakfast. Thank you ladies. Will be back again soon 😀

Visited Goodbodies, first since the Pandemic and its relaunch and we wasn't disappointed with the service. A clean environment and service with a smile from Beth who took the order and Rachel who cooked it. Definitely value for money and we will be back in the future!

I was looking through the paper and saw that Goodbody's Cafe were looking for staff and that started me thinking about the last time I was in there. It had been some time, so I got in the car and headed down. It looked familiar...

I have been to Goodbodys twice now since opening. Had a vegan burger the first time which was delicious, not that I’m vegan but was curious to try, would defo have again. The second time I went with four friends. We each had something different ranging from a jacket potato to different burgers and one had a hotdog. The food came out together was nice and hot absolutely yummy. Mine was the Smokey bacon burger well nice. Staff where friendly and welcoming. Will defo go back. Well done to all and good luck I’m sure the place will be jumping before long.

I had a breakfast which was very nicely cooked and hot. Except they forgot one ingredient but served it once I pointed it out and were apologetic. I specifically asked for burnt toast but got warm bread. The waitress was sweet but the waiter irritated the hell out of me. If he called me mate or buddy just one more time I'd have screamed and screamed until I was sick. I'm not his mate or buddy. Instead of mate or buddy three times in every sentence, a simple sir once in a War and Peace sized book would have done - or nothing at all. I'll give it a few months before I go back again.

My first time there and I can say it a very nice place keep to clean standards, I do this one a month to different places try food and see if places are good or bad, Service was pretty quick even though they apologized for the wait, However the food wasn't the best to say. The burger bun tasted style and smell it... the chips was krispy on the outside but rock solid on the inside the only part of the meal that was nice was the chicken and the coleslaw The person that served us was ok...... however they were more concerned about giving away free stuff to three females then actually caring about their service to others, i didn't realize that it is a single person establishment because that is how it came across I hope on my next visit I won't be disappointed with the food or the fragments of the single servicer look to chat up customers

Love the inside. It's great that's it reopened but everything was slightly over cooked and the bacon was cremated. Told staff and the replaced the bacon. New staff new management so I am sure it will get better. Good luck with it.

First time I’ve got in here in an age. Closed for years following ‘a kitchen fire’. Now resurrected and at last we’re back to three decent independent non chain places for snacks and drinks within spitting distance of Mutley post office. Some advance PR suggested...

Goodbodys and is better than ever! Food and drink much improved and the seating have been vastly refined. Jo the new manager/owner is very friendly and helpful, only wanting the best for customers. Chef and waitress were also very friendly and professional. A MUST! NOTE: NO DRUNKS OR ADDICTS WANTED HERE FROM THE LAST GOODBODYS! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Used to go to Goodbody's years ago, soooo glad they reopened. We just went and it was great, food was better than ever, atmosphere was great and the lovely Jo was fantastic. Such a good vibe and such a friendly place.

The place is the most welcoming place I have been to in a long while. Amazing food especially the burgers! Lovely lovely staff there aswell!! Overall, an amazing place to take family or friends or for even a lone dine!

Cracking breakfast and amazing value @ only £4 for the standard size and £7 for the large which I couldnt finish as there was so much. Whole staff team were friendly and welcoming. We do breakfast's all around town and this rates right up there for both taste and value - thanks guys and good luck - we will be back !

Came in for the farmhouse breakfast and a milkshake. The breakfast was lovely, great ingredients and the staff were really friendly and attentive. The Daim bar milkshake was tasty but a little smaller than I was hoping, but I've been used to past visits when they used to serve stein sized milkshakes. Having just reopened they said they're trying to get their menu right, I would like to see some additions such as waffles and pancakes alongside the more traditional fried breakfasts, and maybe the option for a monster sized milkshake complete with chocolate bar toppings, like they used to serve, but that's just personal preference. Will definitely be back!

Sadly both the front (shop on Mutley Plain) and the adjacent cafe and bar areas (Lisson Grove) are now shut and bear To Let signs. The Plain itself now has very few empty premises so there may be fresh interest before long.

Well portioned vegetarian breakfast, lovely service and the food came out quick

The vegan cheesy chips were I joke, just a slice of vegan cheese thrown on top. The burger was missing salad and pickles as described, just a plain burger in a bun.

Today I've had the most disgusting breakfast bap ever ,the bacon was black ,the egg snotty and the bun had so much oil and grease on it or cheap Marg it was sodden and could not be picked up ! Truly vile . Will never eat there again .

We’ve never been fans of the Oggy Oggy chain and have retained fondish memories of Goodbody’s front and back from schooldays five decades ago. Things have been happening in and around the building for a while. The pasty branding has been removed and at last...

Overcooked food, seem to have been sat under a light since I ordered. Milkshakes were warm. Disappointed.
