Nice staff, food was nice and all really fast.

Only gave a 4 on atmosphere because it was a busy day , friendly staff, lovely tasty 😋food

Well, let's start with where we sat. Let's just say I don't want to he looking at my menu while also seeing a woman sniff her armpits in the waiting area, extrem disgusting. They shouldnt have the waiting area small wall thing right next to tables, no pricacy for conversation and unnevering to be watched while eating. I explained I have celiac disease and asked what I could order. I was told to speak to the manger to me and my partner agreed on the £27 sharing plate, which wasn't worth it, tbh for 2 people. Explained to the manger my dietary issues she made no comment about the garlic bread on the plate as we assumed it would be a bit more spread out didn't explain if it was gluten free or not and when it was taken to our table after watching it sit under a hot plate for 23 minutes it was I'd say inedible the bread was touching parts off the food so I obviously stayed away from that. Unsure of how if the glasses and knives were boiling hot to touch, shouldn't the food be a bit more than luke warm. Many staff members were there and very attentive to the cleaning, which I was very happy about. Had heard and lemon chicken which had 0 taste to it I'm unsure why nandos is highly recommended

Can't fault it been here twice now .swift service and lovely food .need to book at the door and then they will say there's a half hour or so wait. Good atmosphere and always busy

The food is good as always, the hottest sauce there wasn't as hot as expected. To start the extra extra hot sauce wasn't as hot as the extra sauce which doesn't make much sense, and the chips were covered in an excessive amount of peri dust, and paired with the hot sauce it was a little unpleasant. The staff were nice and the food did take a fair amount of time to come but was worth the wait. Overall would recommend

Yesterday my wife and I treated our 7 year old grandson to a game of bowls, followed by lunch at the nearby Nando's. I used to visit Nando's in Nantgarw a lot when I lived in the area and it was great. The meal yesterday was a disgrace. The chicken on my grandson's burger was very tough. He bravely tried to eat it but gave up because he couldn't chew it. My wife and I had fried chicken in a pitta. The chicken when it arrived was very cold. I complained to the server about it but he said that's the way it is supposed to be. A very pleasant young lady server then enquired as to how we were enjoying our meal, by which time we had given up. I told her that we were really disapponted and why. She said we should have complained when it came out. I said we had and were told that's how it should be. She stated that it certainly shouldn't be like that and she would speak to the manager. She did, and the manager just shook his head and ignored us. We stayed for another 5 minutes eating our chips which were actuall hot and edible. We then left without the manager coming near. Fortunately there is a excellent NcDonald's near by so we went there and had a very pleasant hot lunch. £30 down the drain at Nando's but lesson learned - give Nando's a wide berth in future.

Two plates of chicken was returned, as chicken was cold, they took the chicken off the plate left us to eat the side and then returned later with the chicken, have emailed twice but no response

Went here after a bowling trip - which was a night to remember, however unfortunately had a terrible ending. My chicken turned up raw and my chips looked like they had just thrown seasoning all over them. No care was taken with the food and the staff were very uptight when I made this known. Fuming customer, will never be returning .

if you have a lot of customers it means that you have to put more staff because all your customers will no longer be there, they wait, they wait, I would advise the manager to take a trading course, I'm also a manager and believe me we can even make 60k a week but I don't make you wait for 40 minutes just to sit down and the second time means something is wrong maybe you should get more chefs

Booked 3 meals only 2 came, spoke to 2 members of staff but to be fair the manager was very helpful

Food better than ever. Piping hot and tasted fresh. Staff excellent too.

To be fair, I’m not a spice lover. But there’s a reason people keep coming back to Nando’s. Nice atmosphere, bottomless drinks and juicy chicken. The waitress moved us to another table that wasn’t by the door without any qualms (it was a particularly windy night) just beware - turn up twenty/thirty minutes before you intend on eating, you usually have to wait for a table after 5pm - any day!!

Always a lovely meal here. Chicken always juicy and tasty. The new fully loaded chips are delicious. Food is a little bit expensive but worth it.

Order for pick-up weekly here, unfortunately the chicken is always very over cooked and dry, rice is burnt, for the money you pay you’d expect decently cooked food :(

Came here pre cinema. First time without kids and it's been super! Fantastic service from really hospitable and very attentive staff 👏 and good food.

I'm a regular visitor to Nando's and this location seems to be a bit hit and miss. During our latest visit they had run out of both peri-peri salt and also tomato for the chicken breast burger and only a little past 2pm. This tends to be quite a busy restaurant but normally the food arrives swiftly during this visit we had to wait quite a while and when the food did arrive the chips were lukewarm. Additionally for some strange reason the restaurant was very smokey from the grill, which was quite unpleasant and overpowering at times. On the whole it was disappointing but at other times they get everything spot on, unfortunately it's not very consistent. Personally I like my food hot and don't think it's too much to asked for it to be served that way, so when I send it back I don't expect to be looked at in disdain by whoever is serving me especially when I have been polite. Still customer service isn't what it used to be and that is apparent here.

Fantastic food everytime we get here. Meat are Halal and great place to take your family out for dinner. If you are planning to go in the evening, try to be early or ready to wait about 30 mins to get a table as it can be busy.

Wonderful restaurant, the staff are attentive and the food is wonderful , can get busy in the evenings but overall would highly recommend for a nice bite. The free parking is a huge bonus and very accessible by public transport.

My food was delivered cold, chicken wasn't freshly cooked. Gone downhill loads, seems as if Nandos have made cut backs and it shows in how my food was. I rather paid more for better quality food, instead of cold reheated chicken 🤢 didn't ask how my food was and was more concerned about clearing plates from the table, when only 1 person had finished Thier food. Won't be going back anytime soon.

An OK meal. We ordered via the app but had to request our drinks and even then they didn't all arrive, and arrived after our food. The food was tasty enough.

One of only 2 Halal Nandos in Wales, which is why I choose to go here. I couldn't really fault the service. We were told we would have a 35-minute wait, which, tbh was obvious to see as they were quite full when we arrived. However, I was seated in 20 minutes, which was welcomed. Quick service and the food was great. Did happen to pick up an unclean knife when collecting my utensils from the station, which I would recommend they keep a check on, but I can't expect too much. Would come again.

Requested a table on 4/3/23. Was told 25mins wait. Had 2 young children in our party. Followed app as requested. However as our wait time ended the app timer restarted. We headed over to the restaurant to be told that there were 2 tables of 4 & a table of 6 still waiting ahead of us. Very poor communication with young children. By this time we had waited over an hour. Had this been the initial communication then we would not have requested a table. Not suitable with young children.

I hadn’t been to Nando’s for about 5 years. We went as a group of 8 to discover big changes, for the worse. When we arrived, we were told that no one would be coming to take our order, but we would have to scan the QR code on the table to order by phone or go up to the till to order. Since we were a group of 8, it would be impossible to remember everyone’s order to tell them at the till, so we decided to do it by phone. To look up every item of food and drink on the website took 20 minutes, which was ridiculous. Then, the app wanted us to create an account, which we didn’t want to do, so we had to go back to the page with our menu choices, which we finally managed to do with difficulty, to place our order at the till. When our food arrived at the table, we had to go get our own cutlery and serviettes. After our main course, we had to go through the whole phone rigmarole again to order our desserts. We had to clear our own table of the dirty plates. With the exception of the girl who served us at the till and the young man who served our desserts, the (very young) staff were miserable and unfriendly. I have given 2 stars because the food was as good as ever but we will never go back to Nando’s as it was a very bad dining experience.

Didn’t have to book, got a table straight away. Pushed ourselves to go for the hotter sauce on the chicken. Couldn’t eat it all, and was given a box to take the remainder home. Thank you. We will return.

As with previous reviews we can confirm this is a poorly run Nandos. The door host was disengaged and spent most of her time leaning while looking dissatisfied having to speak to customers… not a great start. Asking for the key to the disabled toilet was also too much effort. The wait on food was long but not communicated but in a busy establishment we can understand that, but the disengagement from the team leaves a bitter taste in our mouths.

This restaurant has a shambolic system for booking tables. A virtual queue which tells you you have 20 mins to go then suddenly jumps to double that to let others go before you. Also, service was so poor and slow. My nephew struggled with his food as the spice was too much but had to ask 3 different waitresses for a drink for him as the first 2 forgot and made no effort to get it for him after 10 minutes. Left a review and the "customer service champion" conor mulhern who made no effort to offer any apology or concern for my nephew. Joke!

Didn’t actually get to eat here as they stopped taking orders at 9pm on a Friday being after having been told they were running out of chicken and it would take too long to cook more?! Bizarre for a Friday night, would not let us eat in or book a takeaway. Must have lost a lot of business as it’s right next to the cinema and I assume would be popular on a Friday night.

Have been many times. Best place to go for prompt service and value for money. Easy parking too! Good takeaway service as well.

we arrived and asked about ordering food to eat outside as sitting inside was still not open. The young girl that assisted us was great her customer service was brill but 5 minutes after ordering it looked like it was going to rain so I asked could we have our food in take away boxes she said yes no problem. Within 2 minutes it started to pour down so we went to our car and when our food was ready the young girl rang us. I went in to get the food and it was all good apart from not having any of the dressing which was ok, not a problem. However we did pay for unlimited drinks and she gave me a can of coke and a can of fanta..... on our journey home I realised we paid over £6 for unlimited drinks and there were our drinks 2 CANS, what a rip off!! Good job the food is good and consistent and we enjoy Nando's or they may have lost our custom. Nevermind!! But I won't get caught like this again.

Went to this establishment on a Saturday, and unfortunately we were greeted by the assistant manager at the door, who had appalling attitude and to our misery refused to even sit us, or allow us to book a table online as we did not have knowledge of this, as we had come the week before without doing so. Assistant manager was very rude, talking down upon us, and refused to sit us down, and belittled myself and the other party that I had come along with. I could see they were allowing people in and they also had tables available that were empty and not in use, as they were using them the week before we had gone to the establishment. Please note, if you’re a Muslim do not come here, as they will not serve you and most likely treat you like you’re not welcomed there. You would have thought with BLM race/religious beliefs would not be a thing to discriminate against in 2020. Will not be returning here again and will be forwarding this over to head office as I am appalled by the assistant manager’s behaviour. She was a vile person. Better establishments for chicken closer to Cardiff on City Road

Waited 2 hours in a virtual queue, went from position 28 to 9 to then be kicked off. Tried calling the restaurant 10 times and had no response. Went to the restaurant to query this and was basically told they weren’t going to be serving us as they were full. They were seating other people in the queue but told us as we’d been kicked off there was nothing they can do and basically told us to leave. 2 hours wasted and by the time we tried getting take out there were no slots. Poor service and not happy at all☹️

Our trip to nando's was brilliant. The staff were very welcoming and reassuring. All procedures in place were easy to follow and made you feel safe. Nick was brilliant at ensuring online ordering was simple and the help out to eat out discount was applied. A huge thank you to all the staff for a pleasant visit!

Way overcooked, tough chicken breastsStale Portuguese rolls - hard as hellMissing side order of houmous Wings and a burger that were supposed to be extra hot but that the cook had forgotten to put any sauce/spice on, so they were just unspiced. Hard to get such a simple thing wrong but they did,That’s why they earned my complaint.

I can see why Gareth Bale missed Nando’s so much. It’s always spot on and I love the Mediterranean influenced grub. My daughter raves about it all the time. Service can be a bit hit or miss, but where isn’t these days?

Went here today and had much better service than the last time I was in the establishment. Previously me and my friend had been treated badly by a manager about a problem with the food. However today we were treated very well by a member of staff called Pedro. We didn’t wait for ages compared to last time and the food was much better. Our last experience would’ve been rated zero if it was possible however this experience by itself would be a 5 due to the amazing and friendly service by Pedro

I don’t quite understand why when placing an online order, instead of prepping it for the pick up time set they wait for you to arrive to then start prepping your food. meaning a day like today where everyone is out for Father’s Day and I’ve placed my order over an hour in advice, I now have to wait 20 minutes as my order hasn’t been prepared, I’ve paid for this when placing the order, it shouldn’t make a difference if I’m there waiting for my food or not, you’ve taken the money so realistically you should prep it ready. I eat here once a month and it’s the same every time with my takeaway.

Came on a Friday after work, as usual it was very busy which is good to see.All staff were very friendly.I had a slight hiccup with the burger spice and the the mayo/ garlic mayo. Sent it back and came back not quite right. Spoke to one of the managers, Claudio I think, who was very apologetic and friendly. He quickly sorted the issue and gave a free brownie which was a nice gesture. Absolutely no issues here. As always, great service, great food and great vibe. Cheers Nandos!

My boyfriend and I recently visited this Nando’s and didn’t realise it went under renovation. It looks so much better than it did before! Service and waiters were very lovely! Food was gorgeous and didn’t disappoint. Will be returning shortly as our favourite Nando’s!

first time visit with family and friends as wanted something to eat before going to the bowling centre opposite, first impressions wasnt great as hadto cue but to be fair they did advise on the time wait, also was a little loud in there (but that was just me and only a minor criticism, it is a Spanish themed place after all) Food then came and all was forgiven, We had chicken wraps with lemon and herb sauce with a couple of sides each and i couldn't fault the food, it was excellent and most enjoyable. staff was great especially a guy who was foreign (forgive me for the brief description) who was excellent and went to keep us advised how long before our food was coming as was in a rush as bowling booked. I dont think it is the sort of place for a evening meal out but for a quick bite to eat then its great with friendly staff, i would go again. I dropped 1 star just for the wait to be seated and the noisy fellow customers but harsh maybe as that is what Spanish eateries are like so my liking and not a reflection on the restaurant really.

We ordered Nando’s for collection. Worker wasn’t helpful when we asked for more sauce and advised we take some off a table of a family. Once we got home with the Nando’s we noticed that there was a missing perisalted chips. We phoned and they said we could come back and get them. Meanwhile the chicken is getting cold. Once we get there to collect the chips, they are handed over without seasoning and so we have to go back to ask to get them changed. Once we get home, we notice the difference in the portion sizes of the chips. The new chips that were given were only filled half way. Overall slow service and unsatisfied soggy food. Not happy.

Usually we get a take away to pick up. Nice vegetarian options, have done this loads of times. Would have given 5 stars but am usually waiting for 15-20 minutes after our chosen pick-up time for our food and been several occasions where we have got home and realised that they’ve given us the wrong order.

Very busy but got a window seat for three. You have to order and pay at counter but service is quick. Served by friendly staff... Plenty of hot sauces to test as you eat. We chose a shared chicken platter and a hot chicken meal. Plenty of car park space. Pricey meals but soooo delicious. Will return...thank you.

Just found out from Nandos website this is a Halal restaurant. This was not made clear. I do not agree with cruel slaughter.

Went here recently with family visiting from New York as my family and I are big Nandos fan. My usual order is chicken thighs, spicy rice and creamy mash with a bottomless drink. The food was perfect as always and the service was great, already looking forward to the next time!

Every time we come here the service is always really good as is the food. It can get quite busy so if you plan om going to the cinema after your meal make sure you leave enough time and remmeber that there may be a wait for an available table.

What I love about Nando’s is the food it always so quick! Which as usual on this occasion it was, food was hot and tasty, only reason for 4 star and not 5 is because they have seats right beside the door and unfortunately we were sat there and it was freezing and kept having to get up and down to close the door. Easy parking right outside, Helpful staff, ready with a carry-out box for anything left over. Just off the M4, so easy to drop in on a journey past.

Went to this place after Cinema. Free parking was a bonus. They cater for vegeterians and the veg burgers were good.

We have had problems with takeaways here in the past (mainly missing items when we get home and open the bag). On this occasion, the food was just really disappointing. The chicken in the pittas seemed very poor quality, my 6 year old had just two small wedges in his sweet potato wedges box and my £2 or so side of peas amounted to literally a few teaspoons worth of very dry peas in the box. Overall, for £21 it felt like it would have been better value picking up a meal from KFC instead. Sorry Nandos but it was a definite thumbs down this time.

Food good, service good overall good but don't go here when it's cold outside cause it's just as cold inside !! That's the only thing that spoiled the meal .... please turn the air con off and put some heating on !

Firstly got to compliment the staff here especially Samuel. Very friendly and very helpful with the children. Knew we would have a long wait as it was the end of the half term holidays. Food was really good quality, sadly the price stops me giving a perfect 5. Gets a tad expensive for a family when little things get added on. All in all a great family experience though.

Phoned an order through only to arrive and find that they had not processed the order not could they find it. This is the second time this has happened at this Nando's, why can't they just get it right. Everyone else does. Won't be going back again!!!
