We enjoyed three fantastic evenings at Zizzi Cabot Circus in Bristol. The food was delightful, and the service was exceptional! The staff were incredibly nice and polite. Alpes, the manager (I believe), was especially polite and friendly. We absolutely loved our experience!

Once again we go to Zizzi for lunch, without booking, (ups) and we were not disappointed, the staff always help us, and find a corner for us. The staff are absolutely amazing, the food is always tasty and delicious. We will definitely be back, but this time we might book a table, just maybe😅😅

Jemma was our waitress up in cabot circus and her service was amazing. She was helpful and polite and funny and made our whole dining experience much better. Loud shout out to her and her amazing customer service 💪

I’ve been to Zizzi’s quite a few times and usually really enjoy the food but this time I was a bit let down. The service was great considering it was a busy Saturday night. Me and my dad both ordered pizza’s but the base was wafer thin and there weren’t many toppings on it. Also the toilets weren’t that clean sadly.

Excellent server, the gentleman (Italian man, didn’t get the name) who greeted us at the door was friendly and knowledgable, we received a free garlic bread! Food was great, Zizzi, for a chain, is always brilliant and this visit was no different! We will return!

Disappointed. The food took a long time to come out, especially as it was not busy. My pasta was cold and my partners was chewy (like it had been reheated). The woman on the table next to us had to also wait a significant time for her spaghetti bolognese. Unfortunately staff didn’t come around to ask how it was, as we would have highlighted the issues. The wait to pay was also extremely long. For the price you pay for the food, it was extremely disappointing. We left hungry and shocked at the whole experience.

From time to time will always pop in with friends to have their chicken liver and wraps. Never fails to taste good with very helpful and kind staff as always. Food usually takes 10-20 minutes but this has never been an issue for me but should note that I often go around lunch periods so it's never that too busy. Lovely place to eat in Cabot Circus!

Myself and my partner came in for some dinner and expected a wait after seeing how busy it was. Who I’m guessing was a manager (Chris) delivered our food with a smile and proceeded to offer us a free dessert each and apologised for the wait of the food. We were extremely taken back by this kind offer and the food was overall delicious. Could not rate this place higher! Big thanks to Chris too!

Popped in for lunch today, We were seated quickly and left waiting for ages and ages until I asked someone to take our order. Our food was lovely but when we wanted the bill again we were left waiting and waiting. All in all food great! Service bad

Really friendly place, staff amazing. Even gave us an A4 paper when asked for my daughter to draw on when she finished the colouring on the kids menu. Will go back again.

I have visited both this and a London Zizzi in the past 4 weeks. The plain garlic bread is heaven but the main courses were not pleasant - the meatballs were in a sauce so spicy that I eventually gave up trying to eat them, and the nduja sausage lasagne was quite sickly. The normal lasagne was apparently nice though. The staff are very efficient and pleasant to deal with, and the restaurant itself is clean and roomy.

We went here for lunch today. The staff were friendly so can’t fault them. We ordered calamari to start, a fresh pasta, and a spaghetti bolognese, a potato side for a child and drinks. Calamari was good. The mains, unfortunately, were not. The spaghetti bolognese had a lot of water in the bottom and looked rather like a ready meal. The fresh pasta was not cooked properly, to the extent where it sticks to your teeth. A visit to the toilet was also not a pleasant experience, the toilets are unisex, which is all very well but as a female the toilet had obviously been used by a male previously. The toilet seat was up and there were wet spots on the floor and most men are also known for not washing their hands so the idea of touching the handle to get out wasn’t great. We returned the food, hardly touched, which they offered to recook. We said no and we try another restaurant, we said we would pay for what we had, although they still tried to charge for the uneaten potatoes. The manager did come to apologise but not much else.

Well becoming a ZZ member certainly affects the quality of the food served when there's 25% off the food bill only. It's just not worth doing in my experience. There was Absolutely no substance to any of our food just dreadful. Even the Parmesan cheese was portion controlled in a tiny pot you would serve tomato sauce in. My Watery spaghetti bol was tasteless. No meat in the sauce we'll hardly any sauce to be honest and what was served had not flavour. The Pizza ordered lacked produce on the base so dry again no flavour as hardly any topping and finally there was 2 pieces of chicken in the pasta dish. Never again. Christmas catch up with friends spoiled.

I'd like to thank Alp who welcomed us at the door today. We hadn't made a booking and though it was busy. He managed to get myself and my daughter seated. The food was great, everyone polite. BIG thankyou to Alp, Çok teşekkür ederiz. 😁

The truth is that it is a shame; First of all, the waitresses were eager and were basically all over me so we could order quickly (I literally couldn't finish reading the menu properly). I decided on the safe dish (spaghetti bolognose). well, the chef forgot to place the meat; It was a a red sauce without meat. I think it's disrespectful to charge 15 pounds for that.

Our waitress was absolutely fantastic, we came in around 8pm on 10/11/23 and there were 6 of us, she was so polite and attentive. She was extremely patient and kind with a member of our group who was hard of hearing, and was generally very accommodating of our requests. I'd very much like to recognise her for going above and beyond!

We came on a Friday afternoon (3pm) not to busy about 2/3’s full if that. Took 30 minutes to bring glasses for drinks we ordered. Starters 40 minutes and came cold as they had been sat on the hot plate for a long time clearly. An hour post ordering and we are still waiting for our chicken wings main x 3 so not a complicated order. Having been to lots of Nando’s around the country, it’s safe to say I’ll never come here again and would avoid if I were you.

Expensive and average. When you pay nearly £17 for a pizza and then they’re asking for £1 for a tiny smidge of mayo dip on top I think it says it all. Good staff though, and vibe was okay. Just overpriced low quality food sadly.

I have a bad experience, the manager who goes by the name Eric, was extremely rude and arrogant. I told him that the waitress took my food before I finished it. He reacted very badly and said he would protect his colleague, he only calmed down a little when my partner joined the conversation. It's a shame because I had just praised the manager before him, I also praised the seasoning and atmosphere. But as soon as he changed shifts and the other manager came in (ERIK) the night was over. It's sad to enter a place where we go to relax a little and end up having such an experience. But still, thank you to the first manager who helped us earlier.

It was a not soo busy Friday evening and we stopped by for a dinner. There wasn't too many guests and there were only 2 waiters. They were friendly, however, it took them quite some time to get to us to place the order and then get us served. Food was nice, however some parts of my rustica picante were way too hot for anyone to enjoy eating it. If it's meant to be like that fine, they should mark it extra spicy on the menu. However, this seemed to be like someone dropped too much chilli 🌶 on some parts of the pizza. Nowher ein Italy this would be soo hot.

Good food & service, excellent value for money.

We booked a table whilst shopping during the day - it was my husband's birthday so thought it would be nice to go somewhere different to eat. We signed up during the day for zillionares club when we booked the table for the evening. We won free cheesy garlic bread. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and plenty and of great quality. Really enjoyed our evening here.

Love Nando’s and this nandos was no different have great food and really helpful staff can’t fault. The restaurant was clean and tidy too with a great atmosphere

Came here during a busy lunch with the in-laws. Slight hiccup with varied food waiting times across the table, understandable with how busy you were. Nonetheless, staff super polite, friendly and accommodating. Offered a complimentary round for a minor mistake which was a lovely gesture. Great service, all enjoyed the birthday meal, will come again.

Me and the wife went here to get some quick nice pasta, 35 quid for what tasted like microwave food , told the staff , they didn't know what to do with my complaint , never again

Did not get to eat here as customer service was so bad. Sat outside (there were loads of empty tables,). We were asked to go inside to get seated back outside and were told that they were not serving outside even though there were people already eating there. Asked the lady outside why and her attitude was shocking. They have said no so no please leave went next door to coal which was lovely. Polite service does not cost anything

My wife and their dad stopped here for lunch thinking it was going to be nice until... When the food arrived first off all the pizza was way too thin you could nearly see through it, it was that thin, they had no where near enough on the toppings and for my wife's dad he ordered the pasta and it just wasn't nice, way too bland and tasteless

Originally wanted to go to Frankie and Benny’s a few doors down for dinner tonight but as they closed at 9 and we needed to dine after 9 so Nando’s came in perfectly as they open late at night and Nando’s is always quick and easy.Especially as we needed to do a long drive home after holiday and we had just come back from the cinema.This Nando’s was amazing,very welcoming,all staff were friendly,very nice decor, clean ,nice atmosphere and not too busy(especially as it was a Monday night).Also the food was served very quickly,the food was absolutely delicious and filled me up for a long journey home.The halloumi was delicious,I love the sweet chilli dip that comes with it and actually you got a lot better portions of the halloumi at this Nando’s compared to other branches of Nando’s.Also the olives were very lovely too.My quarter chicken with chips was also lovely too,portions were amazing,served piping hot and the presentation was beautiful.Also the taste was delicious as well,my chicken was amazing and the chips were lovely and soft too.The boneless chicken wing was lovely as well.Also the unlimited drinks machine came in very handy too I got 2 lemonades from it.Also the toilets were extremley clean as well.Our server Isabelle was lovely as well.Would highly recommend this Nando’s and would return back.

I’m really impressed by the genuine friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at this Nando’s. I went lunchtime on May 26th and both the manager or front of house gentleman and the young woman taking orders really made it a wonderful experience and the food, as always, was delicious!

I come here often with my friend, who is a wheelchair user. The staff here are always so accommodating and are more than happy to meet our different needs and requirements. The food is delicious! To summarise, this place has great food, is filled with kind people, and has a wonderful atmosphere!

Starters and Deserts are always amazing at Zizi's, though the mains can be a little hit and miss, service at this one in particular was excellent we had a lovely server who was friendly and attentive, the food came quickly, we used our meerkat meals so were able to get 2 4 1 on mains and desert but they always do great set menu options too with 2 or 3 courses for a set amount and we have always found these options to be full of option! The deserts are always super creative, this time they were doing an apple pie calzone, was really tasty!!

Brilliant restaurant, couples, families, everyone. Absolutely amazing food, relatively well priced for the size (18in) of the pizzas. They were delicious and took 10(!?)mins to arrive which was crazy but that's what you get with such a huge pizza oven. Really high quality, staff were all so happy and friendly too, very enthusiastic and that's what I love to see at a restaurant. 10/10, absolutely will go there again when I'm in Bristol. --Ordered: Pure Pepperoni Pizza (top); Piccante Pizza (bottom).

Typical Nando food which we enjoyed. We had to sit in the outside section as this small restaurant was full inside. As mentioned, the food was good but the staff were a bit miserable and not really very welcoming.

General experience was poor. The majority of staff didn't want to be there and made no attempt whatsoever to hide it. Food arrived with one meal incorrect. The staff member then argued with us that we had ordered rice when we'd ordered chips. Eventually, he bought over the correct food. The food itself was bland and overcooked. I had macho peas that tasted like regular tinned peas and a corn on the cob that had had all moisture sucked out of it. I've been a big Nandos fan for years, but this has been very off-putting.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff

The food here is terrible. I had the Carbonara and it tasted like water. Not to mention the pasta was terribly undercooked and was cold to the touch. Both the risotto and bolognese were slightly better but still very sub-par, especially for an “individually Italian” experience. The free Garlic bread was a nice touch though. Please do not come here expecting decent food.

Amazing food Mind blowing experience

I have to say, we were well looked after here. I requested a quiet table and was given one upstairs where I could hear conversations. I would normally expect to wait for service but didn't have to for long and both food and wine hit the spot.

The worst service ever, to eat a Pizza and dessert you should spend more than 2 hours. The quality of the Pizza was ordinary.

Zizzi : Italian grandma with a simple heart. This is how I would define this. I had gone to the Zizzi at Bristol - Cabot Circus today. The food was simply good, hearty and filling. The spicy Cheesy Garlic Bread was filling in itself. I underestimated the sheer volume of that. So, after having the same. I was left with no space to have the calzone that I had ordered earlier. So, had to pack it to go. The space was lively and with a lot of character. It was a great evening. The vegetarian and vegan options are really nice. Not a very exhaustive list but you won't be disappointed.

Very good service!! Tasty and well presented meals, with the exception of the starter as the rice and cheese croquettes were quite small and on a large plate. The rustic pizza was very good, but could use a little more cheese.

Waiters are really slow, they acknowledged me but served 4 seated people before coming to me. I ended up leaving because they kept going to other people instead of seating me.

We came in after a lovely day shopping and were both hungry and normally had a good experience here but on this occasion was very poor, as soon as we walked in we were ignored for some time before anyone bothered to come and seat us. I would understand if it were busy but it was quiet and plenty of staff around etc. So were seated and instantly gets my back up when they try and get you to order by Qr code, I like the dining experience ie ordering from the waiter and human interaction. They seemed to get the hump straight away and the service was very poor. Took ages to get a drink and seemed like we were bothering them and very unfriendly, the food was ok. I would of spent more money but no one checked on our meal to see if it was ok and if they did would of ordered more drinks.but sadly we will not be back here again. And spend our hard earned money somewhere else where we are welcomed.

First time trying Zizzi, not impressed, all main meals besides the pizza were tasteless and bland. I have had Italian food many times but not like this, pasta dish ordered and the tomatoes were not cooked out, still had cold tomatoes pieces in. Will not be going there again. I guess the Chefs rushed our food as it was busy. Staff member very helpful.

don’t forget to book beforehand otherwise you have to wait like us around an hour or so. As it was our first time, we had some freebies.

Friendly and polite staff, however service was abysmal. 3 of us ordered, one meal came out 10 minutes before the rest of ours even though we ordered at the same time? Food was not great, and service was slow. We used the speedy pay, however we were charged for drinks they said were on the house, due to complaining about the wait. Luckily after speaking with the supervisor we got a refund, even though I basically had to tell them how to do their job, as they seemed clueless, none the less I won’t be back here again.

Order half chicken with a maple and orange flavour. Chicken was fine tasty as usual, but it may as well have been a plain chicken as there was not flavour from the glaze at all. It was OK not better sides were good peri chips and broccoli stems.

I am not one to usually leave reviews, especially bad ones as i have worked in the hospitality industry as both a waitress and bar staff in similar restaurants for the past 7 years and understand the stress the industry is under at the moment. I went for a meal with 9 of my friends. The host said that we should order using the QR code if we were going to pay separately because its easier that having to sit there and go through the receipt at the end. We all thought this was a great idea because it is always awkward sitting there adding each persons meal up at the end. No complaints about the meal itself, it was alright. Fast forward to paying. Each person selected what they were paying for off the digital receipt, payed, and added £6-3 extra as a tip. I was the last to pay (only one person can pay at a time). The host then came over and said we owed £40. My meal only came to £25. (Keep in mind we had already tipped a minimum of £24) he then said that we hadnt payed the service charge however it is optional…. It is also not calculated into the online receipt, which is what they told us to use… we tried to explain that everyone had already added a tip on to their payment, therefore we had already paid the service charge, which was calculated at 15%. They were adamant that we hadnt payed it and wouldn’t take it off the amount (even though it is OPTIONAL and i entire ordering process was not done through any of the staff, they forgot 2 of the extras people had ordered, and had to ask two or three times for water and salt +pepper). Cut to the end, i ended ip paying the £40, therefore we payed atleast a £40 tip!!?!?

It is not often I write a review on a restaurant where the service was so bad, I walked out without eating anything. I arrived and was seated next to a wall that felt like it belonged in a library but as a single diner, this was OK. There were plenty of tables in the open well-lit part, but I did not complain. I asked for water, and it arrived quickly. I told the waiter I needed a couple minutes to decide on what I wanted. He never came back. I watched other diners get seated, a couple of parties left and still no luck in ordering. After about 15 minutes, I walked out. This rates as the second worst non-service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. I might have well been invisible. I now need to delete the Zillionaire ID which I will never use!

Friendly service, good location but a really poor menu that disappointed.

We came here for the last night of our trip and it was great. The service was quick and friendly, despite my partner having a lot of trouble to get the app/website ordering function to work. The food was delicious and reasonable. The only downside was we were placed at seats on the outside which could have had the heating on but we weren’t asked (yet other people were), and there was never a good opportunity to ask someone, so it was a little bit cold. Overall though it was great!
