McDonald's in Bristol, City of

I usually avoid eating here unless I'm tight for time. The only thing I ever order is a double cheeseburger. I always have to ask where my order is as it takes so long to prepare that it disappears from the waiting list. And when I get it, it always looks like someone has sat on it

Conveniently next to Pets at Home. Can get very busy, and a bit noisy.

It's mc donalds innit. Not good if you get it delivered as fries do not travel well. The hash browns are ick. I like a classic cheese burger!

Been waiting 25 mins for a qp with cheese and there aren't many people here. There is a pile of burgers going cold and people unpacking bags and removing burgers to add to the pile. Won't waste my time here again and honestly don't think I trust food cooked by these folk

If I could give this place minus star reviews I would. Yet again today 27th of October 2024 I've got 2 mcmuffins missing??? Your a joke and thief's. Why I order from you when I recieve such poor service I don't know. Using uber eats I've received twice my drinks spilled all over my food and bag. Ordered a cheese and egg mcmuffin got meat in it for some strange reason and my wife couldn't eat it as she's vegetarian. Complained didn't get money back or recieve correct order. Also went to drive through and when waiting for food in bay they had to be told what was missing from order. Then to get home and still realise one drink was missing. And the milkshakes were the wrong flavour. Really disappointing to not get what your paying for.

Food was delivered to our car very quickly, and was the hottest & tastiest food we've had from any McDonald's. The staff were friendly & efficient too. Very impressed!

Food and staff were great. Sadly the place was full of unpleasant college kids, so didn't stay long.

Absolutely terrible waits 28 minutes to get my food which my mcspicy was practically cold. Will never be going here again. Whilst I was in the que 3 people returned food for being cold and having onions in there burger. Such slow service. They do the deliveries before the people who have ordered in the restaurant.

If I could give it zero stars I would, not a v. Busy drive through this evening and yet still get my order wrong and the email on the receipt doesn’t work! Food was cold even after being asked to park in a bay! I have 3 fairly local to me. This will be on the bottom of the list from now on! Disgusting! The worst place to eat or order from. They have no respect for the customer or the delivery guys. Little do they know that the delivery guys are actually an extended arm of the customer who wants to eat in the comfort of their homes or work. They simply ignore the delivery guys who leave their homes, leaving their families so they can work and support them. They don't know that a delivery guy can work up to 16 hours a day. They simply ignore and laugh at the delivery guys who come to the counter to collect their bills. And the managers are the worst.

The drive through order are the majority of the time missing items,they are slow so the food very often is cold and they do not tackle/deal with children/teenagers' misbehavior within the restaurant area was witness to a group of lads chucking stirrers and filled sauce pots at each other but this was across walkway and other people's tables. Very disappointed.

Got fined when over stayed in their car park with kids playing in their play area inside the restaurant. What a con.

Had to wait 40 minutes in the drive through queue at 10pm when there was virtually no one else around. Majority of food items not in stock. Got given 2 regular Big Macs when asked for chicken Big Macs and order was also confirmed twice by staff to be chicken but turned up different at window.

Friendly staff, nicely made food and quick service. Car park was decent too! Only downside was that there's quite a lot of flies kicking around in there, as mentioned in other reviews - deffo needs attention!

There were 30-40 teenagers in the store when we arrived. We were surprised how fast we got our food.

Cannot get orders right, multiple times. How hard is it to pack 4 items into a bag, ensure it is all there and seal it. 3 orders in a row have been missing the main item ordered. Meals with out the burger! What's the point. Incompetence at the highest level. Check your order if driving through, Don't order mc delivery as uber will scam you and only partial refund you and blame the restaurant. Avoid and just go Avonmeads or Longwell Green

What can i say? The whole order was wrong. It took ages for them to deliver the right one. The food was cold, not a good experience, to be honest, and I won't be going back, that's for sure.

Best mcdonalds I've ever been to

Use for quickness as close by, always have items missing, wrong items, cold. Not as affordable as it was. Prices have gone up considerably for what you get small chips as a med portion.

Ordered mc delivery, 8 items in total and 2 delivered this was a Sunday morning. God knows how they get this so wrong! Website says to call restaurant called 13 times between 11-12.30 and no answer. Called following Saturday and spoke with a new manager and was asked to call back next day during 9/5 as she didn't know what too do. Very poor service, often 1 missed item but not an almost full breakfast order. Still need a refund but tired of trying to call the restaurant and no answer!

Absolute joke. Got a new menu out every single time can’t get an item. How can you simply not have the new items on the menu? Or the McFlurry machine is “Broken” classic phrase. Very bad service to got real attitude from who ever was behind the telecom.

Every time I go to this McDonald's I have such a bad experience it forces me to rethink my life and I usually make a positive change after. Not sure if this is the best or worst McDonald's I've been to.

The manager from this site was absolutely lovely. 8/07/24 my grandad choked and she saved his life! Even before this she helped served them and helped them order. Best service ever

Ordered food at 18:50. Kept delaying it until 20:55. My kids were supposed to be in beds by that time. There is no way you can cancel the order after 2 hours of waiting .So yo find yourself trapped in this mcScam. If you don’t deliver FAST FOOD don’t allow people to order I say… I called Brislington McDonald to find out what is the holdup reason and the guy on the phone told me that he doesn’t know anything and that it’s all Uber. I ordered on McDonald s app…..NEVER MORE.. one customer lost. I will advocate for no McDonald s every time I have an opportunity..

My worst MacDonald experience to date. Over 45 minutes to receive my order which comprised of a cheeseburger and a coffee. When I received my order it was cold. The only reason I got my order was because I asked for a refund. People absolutely everywhere, when I left there was still people waiting for orders that had been waiting an hour. Absolutely dreadful. This Macdonald's has always been poor compared to others but tonight was a whole new level. Macdonalds need to replace the franchise that runs it.

Ths place has been going downhill for a while (cold food/ unprofessional staff) Today I waited 5 mins to even be acknowleged at the speaker, no apology. Then was told to park up along with 6 other cars (I only ordered a cheeseburger and a bottle of water). Again no apology or explanation. Then after 10 mins he only brought me the burger, no drink. YET AGAIN NO APOLOGY, he just walked off. In total 20 MINS to get a cheeseburger...not exactly fast food 😠

staff are incredible, but it is extremely understaffed. owners need to get it together, stop being cheap and give some more hours out.

Went for breakfast while my car was having some work done at one of the nearby garages. Typical McDonald's, which was what I was wanting. Used table service. Came promptly, including napkins and milk for my tea, and was lovely and hot.

Quick service no problems with the food and good size carpark the restaurant when i visited was clean with no rubbish left on tables and no rubbish blowing around carpark so well managed

Not the best experience, the burgers were thrown together the chips cold waiting time 21 minutes and all in a bag with the fries spilling out. It was busy so why cold fries? If this had been my first experience I wouldn't come back. You can do a lot better than this

Fast food, well not as fast as it used to be, oh, actually not as tasty as it used to be, and more expensive than it used to be.

Ordered at 6.00pm this evening. After waiting for 25 minutes, I had to go and ask where my food was. Turns out, it was propped on the side in a bag and left to go cold. The staff who work here have no sense of food hygiene or safety. The rotund server with glasses and straight dyed red hair kept scratching underneath her work shirt, stroking her fringe and picking at her face. Luckily, she was clearly waiting to go on her lunch break or else I would have asked her to wash her now filthy hands (had she been the one touching our food). Very understaffed with two of the managers loudly shouting that a member of their team had just upped and left mid-shift. Another supervisor or manager then also left the premises to go and find the member of staff that had absconded. This left a total of 8 workers on site (from what I could count). After asking for my food, I was told they had no fruit bags. Why offer it as a menu item on the ordering screens if you're out of stock? I was given the carrot bag as an alternative. Please bear in mind, that today is the 30th of April. The carrot bag I was given was dated 'use by 28 April 2024'. You can see this in the attached picture. When I bit into this carrot it quite literally DISSOLVED in my mouth. It was horrible! I went up to the desk to speak to the manager. The first worker I spoke with could not understand what I was saying so I politely asked to speak to the older Asisan lady who had been working a very long shift and was due to finish at 10.00am. I knew this detail because everyone working there kept shouting about it, as did she. I told the 'manager' that she had given me out of date food. Her response, 'Give the package back to me then if you don't want it.' No apology and no understanding of the problem with providing customers with inedible and out of date 'fresh' produce. I then explained (in a very low voice so as not to bother other customers) that I would be making a complaint. 1) Due to the wait time for food, the fact that it was cold and the most important point; that it was inedible. 2) Lack of customer service and a cavalier attitude from management. Dont avoid this branch of McDonald's if you want long wait times, poor customer service, cold food, and out of date produce to be given to you.

Went to Bath rd/Emery road Mcdonalds.. not only did they get the order request incorrect, when I asked the them to correct the mistake, the young lady behind the counter was aggressively rude and wildly inappropriate at dealing with the issue, not only did she raise her actual voice at me, there was a lack of accountability for the mistake that was made. Once his was corrected, when checked the order on the way home, some of it was also missing. DO BETTER!

If I could give 1 star I would! Absolutely disgusting! Sent me a purple drink?! A burger with what looks like someone has scraped the sauce across with a tooth pick and didn't even add the cheese!

This McDonalds does quite good food. Some McDonalds are horrible and send out a bad mayonnaise flap and call it a burger, whereas here it's at the good Maccies standard.

This Macdonald's is terrible. Food seems to be cold all the time, when you order they send you the scraps and if you go through the drive through you ALWAYS have to wait. It's just unbearable

Had to wait for all the deliveroo drivers to get they're orders before the customers in the "resturant " .also they had no double cheeseburgers but could order a single.

Incredibly slow to take order and to move around the drive thru. Granted, it's half term and the store was undoubtedly busy, but when I reached the cashier window, I was ignored for 5 minutes (holding up a massive queue of cars behind), and despite the cashier being stood right by the window at the till, I had to lean out of the car and wave at the window like a crazy person to get the cashiers attention, who said that they had not seen me pull up! Surely a cashier at a drive thru would always be looking through their window? Especially during a busy half term/bank holiday, a little bit more urgency and being on the ball is desirable. Burgers were then a bit cold as a result of the wait to get to the cashier, and to be served by the cashier.

Very disappointed this week, I take my Grandson every Monday for lunch and we usually have a lovely time. This week it was full of user eats delivery guys and had to wait ages only to find the kids meal had very few chips and no cheese in the cheese burger.

08.30 in the morning, hobbled in to be told no cheese beacon flat breads available, very disappointed, staff couldn't even be bothered to offer an alternative, not the service I have come to rely on at McDonald's

I got 4 mcflurrys and 2 of them tasted like nuts out of a Malteser which could've been bad if I was allergic one of the Maltese also had raspberry sauce with a matleaser (not mentioned to be there) staff was not very helpful when told

I had a disappointing experience with McDonald's wrap. The salad was sparse, lacked sauce and bacon, and the wrap itself was poorly assembled. When I approached the manager to express my concerns, her response conveyed a dismissive attitude, adding to the overall dissatisfaction.

My friends ordered some food and the woman calling the numbers didn't say it clear ( my friend has hard of hearing) , someone grabbed our order with no evidence it was theirs, when my friend went up with her receipt they said that they would not give the money back or make our food again as it was 'our falut'

Spent £60 on cold damaged food and drinks absolutely discusting! Fries just thrown in bag drinks spilt so not enough drink for everyone! drinks spilt in McFlurry so couldn’t even eat it!! all the food was cold just discusting!

I ordered by drive through, i noticed the price is not correct on the screen so i talked with the girl where i pay. I told her that my order is mayo chicken meal not mc chicken which is a usual mistake. She confirmed she got it correct now. Still charged me a higher price. I commented on it. She said ask for reciept next windkw when i get the orderAs in the receipt i asked for coke no ice. When she gave it to me i told her politely that.She started to be angry then i took the order and checked it to find the first girl didn't correct her mistake. I told the rude girl who gave me the order who then shouted at me and was throwing a tantrum What the hell!!! What the kind of training your stuff had?Is rudness and shouting at customers acceptable? It is not my buisness as a customer if they are not trained .She talked with a manager then she asked me to park. After 15 mintues of waiting in the car with my autistic child she with a member of stuff were looking for my car though i parked exactly where she asked me. I waved at them 3 times As you see part of my car plate number is written on the reciept though she still act like a fool and looked at me 3 times a she saw me and finally sent her colleague who hardy speaks english .She gave me the same order oh my God!. They edited the receipt by pen checking off mc-chicken and wrote mayo 😁. They added a mayo chicken sandwitch. The food was terribly cold of course after waiting for 15 mintues. I told her i still paid a higher price for a sandwitch which i don't need or eat. I expected they just refund the difference of price and take off the wrong sandwitch like any resturant would do. She asked me to get out of my car and talk to a manager. I told her i can't leave my disabled child alone and can't take him inside while the noise is too much for him. Why would i have to go inside while i orignally ordered drive through because i can't get inside? I then decided to leave. I would never buy from this branch and would avoid mcdonalds if i can. I tried to call the phone numbers for complainys bit they were closed even they advertised saturday times 9-4. I am really angry about how i was treated while i was speaking politely.Shame on you.

My partner and I ordered 2 quarter pounder meals last night delivered. They forgot one of the quarter pounders and only refunded £1.6 for the missing burger despite it costing much more than that

Me and my son went in for some food, ordered using the touchscreen they have there, 35minutes went past , i still had not received my order, this was using table service… people who ordered after me, received there food and had eaten it before i even received mine. So i asked for a manager where i received a full refund and cancelled my order. I will not be using this mcdonalds again, the staff are so slow, my 3year old can cook a McDonald’s meal faster than any of their staff!!!

It's okay for fast junk food, everything tastes the same, including the vegetarian options that I have tried more than ones. Dining inside is chaotic, but driving through is quite fine, but you need to have in mind what to order, because obviously you are not given the time to think about what you want to eat. I not only don't recommend, but I would like to say "avoid it if you can"

We have been here twice and honestly never will again. The food we ordered both times had issues. The first time the quality was abysmal. The chips had clearly been reheated after they should have been as they were disgusting in texture and taste. The coke machine clearly wasn't working properly as it tasted mostly of soda water and was flat. All this after waiting an atrocious amount of time. Second time we came they took forever and even with that they got my order wrong but as we used drive thru we didn't know til we were home. I don't expect much from McDonald's but I at least expect edible and correct food especially as they're constantly increasing prices

Slow and you are always third class to Uber customers and drive thru if you are mad enough to actually walk into the place

This branch will nearly always leave an item out of your order, you just cross your fingers it's a small price item and not expensive. They have no interest in getting the order correct, or recitifying. Perhaps drop the prices by 10% to compensate for the missing items?

Standard maccas, nothing special. Tried the chicken bigmac. It was okay, not as good as big tasty. Will go again in a pinch but wouldn't plan it in advance.

I just finished a night shift and called in to McDonald's at Brislington for a breakfast. I waited 15 minutes because of uber people picking up meals. The bun was slightly burnt and crunchy!! Think ill give it a miss in future!!

The food was okay, nothing to get excited about, usual takeaway. I was annoyed though, to find that they hadn't given me part of my order, that I'd obviously paid for. I didn't realise this, until I got home, some 40 minutes from the branch. I contacted customer service, who were less than helpful. I asked for some recompense for this. They said I'd have to get back in contact with the branch. When I asked for them to instead, to send me a voucher to make up for the omission, they didn't bother replying! 😠

Avoid this McDonald's. They cater mainly for Just Eats and Deliveroo. The collections counter is obscured buy a swarm of these drivers, it's as though they feel they take priority over the public that actually come into the restaurant. And you know what, McDonald's actually do give them that priority. After a 30 minute wait I asked where my meal was after having to push my way through them. The manager needs to control them and stop them being such a nuisance, how is anybody expected to collect their meal. I told one of them that seemed to be guarding his space like his life depended on it " Its not really necessary to wait there." Only to get a dirty look from him and him turn to look at his mates to see if anyone would back up his stupidity, after all they were all like it. My wife was with me and she said that she finds them intimidating.
