Just awful. One third empty and still 50 minutes wait. Please avoid.

No one will serve you unless you track someone down, even after 40 minutes of waiting, not even for drink orders.

Service was abysmal. I ordered a chicken burger and the inside was still frozen.

It used to be very good,I went to Frankie &Benny’s with my kids almost every week before. But recently all the things are gone downhill,came here tonight at 6:30pm,ordered our food and drinks about 6:45. We got our drinks at about 7:30. The beef burger were burnt my daughter barely ate it👎👎,food prices are gone up again . Didn’t worth it.

Went to frankie & Benny’s at cabot on Sunday 13/10/24 at around 13:00. I was with my wife and my baby, we’ve been sat down by the manager, however we had to wait around 25 minutes for someone to even come to the table. Actually they never came, we literately walked out as the server went to a table next to us who had arrived about 10-15 minutes after we did. That was an absolute joke. Service was absolutely poor, i have never had to wait 25 minute to order drinks or for a server to even acknowledge us. Would not recommend nor return.

Good selection of food on the menu. The staff were very friendly and Pav was so great with my young kids.

Amari was amazing especially as she is new. Very effective and very nice.

Mark my words like all the other places in cabot circus this place will be closed soon that can be the only explanation for the horrible food being served and the chefs not giving a hoot about the bad quality of food being sent out

Awful, just don't go!!! Simple!!! Food took 45 minutes but only because I asked where our food was, so probably would of took longer. Drinks slow, 2nd round never turned up! Chicken burger was overwrites, roll not nice, fries cold. Just go elsewhere! Full of empty promise this place! Deliveroo and Just Eat are getting priority over actual dining in customers. You feel really let down! Will not return to any branch of F&B

We have had good service and food previous hence our rerun , but this time was absolutely shocking . came in waited to be seen yet only 1 staff member visible , eventually got seated in a booth with a massive rip in the seat , whilst waiting for drink order to be taken I went to the toilet to find it dirty as if no cleaning had been done , locks on the doors broken . We eventually at got our drinks we then ordered our food and apparently it’s a new menu and some of the item weren’t in stock because they hadn’t been sent to suit the new menu which after 20 min I could see was on the counter and sat there for another 15min . We got the food and the pizza was cold my partners GF pasta dish wasn’t cooked properly felt rushed as pasta wasn’t cooked . I mean my daughter of 13 can cook pasta better than that . We had our plates collected was asked if we wanted anything else which was a defo NO to then wait another 20 min for the bill . The only good thing was the 3 shakes we had everything else was horrible . £60 on food that I could have paid £15 at Tesco and it would have tasted better . Seems like you had 3 staff members on all running around yet not getting anywhere . The manager needs to look at staffing levels because clearly the standard drops and the good service customers expect can’t be given . No music just pure silence .

Restaurant was not exactly busy (maybe 18 of us in the whole place) and it still took them over 20 minutes to serve our drinks (after we asked where they were) and after a 45 minute wait for food which still hadn't been cooked we decided to leave. Shockingly bad. Can see why it wasn't very busy during a lunchtime now!

Our waitress, Kam, was absolutely wonderful—nothing but praise for her service. The food was delicious and served at the perfect temperature. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience.

Food was okay but there was not much options for the mains. Food took a while even though no one else was there. Toilets were clean and the whole restaurant in general looked nice and was clean. The pizza and the Ceasar salad were very nice, alongside with the Barbecue chicken.

Other people walked straight back out, I wish we had. Over an hours wait for food. We went before seeing Grease there was one waitress when we got there. Waited an hour and my meal was incorrect. They gave us money off bill but when you get in a restaurant at 5.20pm and you need to be at the hippodrome at 7.30pm that should be plenty of time. If food is going to be an hour, let the people know before they order. It was a treat for my daughter's birthday and ended up rushing. Won't be eating here again. Seemed to be doing take aways before our food. Will be going to Cribbs on future!

We went to the restaurant in cabot circus in bristol. Ended up having to leave. Sat for 20 minuets waiting to have our order to be taken. I sympathise that it was busy so was willing to wait, however we had to leave after another couple who had just sat down was served. They weren't even able to take thier order as they hadn't been there long enough to decied. Ridiculous.

Chelsea was ace and chatted with us about our evening and our work as we had a drink at the bar. Expertly made and tasted brilliant.

Absolutely atrocious service by a dark haired lady, very rude and the service was so slow, would not return. Everybody looked totally depressed waiting for their food, I heard lots of grumbles from nearby tables.

Have been to this Frankie & Benny’s many times, and we always have a good time! On this occasion, our server Kam was basically running the show by herself. She had to deal with around 8 tables herself and did it so well and quickly! Our food was fresh and hot, and very tasty! All in all, we had a lovely time, and we got a great deal on the 2 course set menu. Would recommend to everyone, and thank you Kam!

Kam was an excellent waitress for us. Despite it being very busy & she was the only member of staff on the floor at points, she was always so kind and helpful. Thank you very much. :) Food was delicious, will be coming back.

Wednesday evening, and not busy. Having been turned away from TGIs because they didn’t have enough staff on to deal with more than ten tables (their words, not mine!) I saw Frankies. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Frankies because I’ve never been overly impressed and because my local one closed. This was different. The service was fast and attentive, staff were great, the chicken strips were perfectly cooked and the dip was tasty. My steak was perfectly done as medium rare, not too fatty, and skin on fries were great dipped in the coleslaw. Was it pricey? Yes but I had two courses and a side and a large coke, and my main was steak, so I expect it to be. Plus, everything is expensive now! Overall, really really good. Well done everyone. You’ve restored my faith in the brand. Thank you.

Service was awesome, breakfast was delicious. Very Courteous towards our dog which is always nice to see.

Poor service, took a long time for us to be able to have our drinks ordered. Myself and my partner both had pasta dishes, it would have been more appropriate for a child, the portion sizes were unbelievably small. Definitely wasn’t worth the amount that we paid at all, very disappointed.

Waited a long time to be seated and when we was eventually sat down, they took a long time to come over and order our drinks, when the waitress came over, she asked what we wanted to drink my nephew was just looking at be menu, and she simply said I’ll come back when you have actually decided, rude and very dismissive. When the food arrived cold and not tasty at all, I found the whole experience very off putting food is disgusting. Service is terrible and over all just not good. Would not recommend to come here avoid

Food came out separately, my chicken parmigiana was not warm enough, pasta and broccoli was actually cold, food had been put in a cold plate. My son’s pizza was burned, the second one they bought out (15 mins later) was uncooked. It’s kids warming food up in a microwave type of kitchen. They offered to take the pizza off the bill, I had a taste card so it would have been free anyway. Avoid, unless you like uncooked food.

Food was smashing. Two adults pizzas, one child pizza, one Mac and cheese and some loaded fries all tasted amazing which also meant we took advantage of the kids eat free offer that was running. Kam was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly and informative. Interaction with our tired and teasy two year old was much appreciated and she went above and beyond for us. Kudos to the chefs, barman and Kam.

Cam was fully attentive and I was served very quickly and food delivered with a smile. She is very good at her job and she deserves a pay increase. I will return next time I’m in town!

This is our go to place for breakfast on the weekends. Fantastic staff, so friendly and kind. Music 10/10. And food is always spot on. Would highly recommend.

I ordered wings on Uber Eats (where it’s called Bird Box, they do ghost kitchens). They were tiny, unseasoned, undercooked and arrived cold. An absolute waste of money. I don’t recommend this place at all.

The pizza is about the same quality as a £2 frozen pizza from a supermarket, takes 40mins to serve and it’s not event hot. Pasta is average, actually worse than what you could cook at home. Can’t blame the servers as there’s only one person serving at a time, and you end up feeling like a hostage begging for the bill!

We called in tonight as we received a discount voucher on the reverse of our parking voucher - honestly I wish we never bothered and had just gone to McDonald's.... the service wasn't exactly F&B standard which wasn't my gripe at all, we ordered the ribs and the calzone ..... once the meals were ready to be brought out the waitress announced that my meal which was ribs, chips and 'Slaw- they had no Slaw- despite the table who ordered after but being served before us having their meals served and 2 of those meals had Slaw on their plates.... If I wanted to change my meal my partner would of had his meal served there and then and I'd have to wait for a new meal to be cooked ..... we also didn't have time for this. I just asked for a side salad - this came but it had a caesar salad sauce that just didn't go with the bbq ribs at all which were just fatty and my plate was just full of chips that were half cooked. I barely ate half my meal, my husband couldn't believe his eyes. I complained to the manager upon paying but she was not interested, I politely said this experience has put us off returning to frankie & bennies (after I made it clear we are normally regulars at different locations as we are not local) The restaurant felt deserted and now we can clearly see why between the food and the service who would return.....

Burger was cold. Saladless and sauceless. Shame because it was a good quality patty. Chips were lukewarm carboard that went cold quickly and were completely unseasoned. Disgraceful considering how much it cost.

Really dark interior. Service speed better than expected. Tucked away slightly in Cabot circus. 30% discount if parking at Cabot circus car park.

Live insect in my food!! Ordered a Caesar salad with a friend, who got the same, and not only did service take 35 minutes, paid extra for chicken on the salad and received it with no croutons - a live beetle type insect crawled out from one of the salad leaves. Disgusted and disappointed by lack of food safety regulations in the Cabot restaurant. Will not be returning.

The best restaurant in Cabot Circus , Bristol!! Went there with a group of friends and we really enjoyed the restaurant! They have a great selection of cocktails and the food is delicious. Also the service was amazing ,Evgenia our waiter was really helpful and she helped us to choose food, as most of our group has some food intolerances and sometimes it's not easy to find food for everyone. But thanks Evgenia for being so patient and helpful with us she really made our dinner an amazing experience. I highly recommend Frankie's ! Will definitely come back soon.

Popped in for breakfast after staying at a nearby hotel as their gluten free options were poor. Tony looked after us and the gluten free and veggie options were excellent. We were a rather difficult table of 5 ladies all changing items on our breakfasts and all different. Tony remembered everything, including a complicated drinks order also. We had a laugh with him and he was attentive, he also had a lovely pair of smart shoes on. The breakfast was excellent quality and really good value at only £7.20. Will definitely return when in Bristol again.

Excellent service and clean toilets! The mozzarella sticks were crispy and seasoned well, the bolognese pasta was cooked al dente, but the sauce was too liquid in consistency.

First off all the app is in delay. Potatoes they was cooked just halfway and half bean eaten and half had to throw away 😒

Where to start? Our server was friendly but it seemed that when we finally got to order, after 30 minutes, it was extremely tricky to enter the order on the system, and took the poor woman ages! Drinks were delivered promptly, however there's no getting away from the poor quality of the food! I ordered "loaded skins with bacon cheese and spring onion", what I recieved was three halves of cooked potato, each about 6cm across. They had approximately 1mm of topping on most of them, but there were some bare areas. They just looked like they had been painted brown in some places. My sister had a "chicken ceasar salad" that consisted of the chicken, which seemed OK, some bread cubes and lettuce! My husband's burger was cooked to death and dry. In fact everything was dry! Absolutely awful, will never return! Feel sorry for the staff who tried their best.

the food was great and the waitresses were amazing, I’m an italian on a school trip and eating such good food was what everyone needed after a long day out in bristol. Kam and Team were the best and honestly there is a very chill and beautiful atmosphere. Loved this place, definitely coming back!

Staff really helpful and polite but the service system really slowed them up. Food very mediocre -dry burgers and loaded skins, Ceaser salad awful( literally just lettuce and chunks of bread). No music. No atmosphere. Staff tried their best. Bad management. Lucky to scrape 3 stars.

Absolutely awful. After waiting a while to be seated, we finally got shown to our table. Immediately I asked the waitress for a jug of water (I'm on medication which really dehydrates me) after asking multiple times to different staff, we received our water during dessert. Each time I asked I was told they'd get the water straight away and evidently that didn't happen. After waiting a while we got our drink orders in, they didn't come until halfway through our mains (again I asked multiple times). When the food arrived it was half cooked, cold and surprisingly stale for 'fresh' food. The chips clearly had been sat in the bottom of the bowl for a while, onion rings just about edible and the lasagne was drowning in white sauce and cheese, but was surprisingly the best part of the meal. I would have sent the food back but I would have been waiting another 30min and had plans after my meal. After finishing our food and attempting to get someone's attention, we waited 15 min before our plates were cleared from the table and werent even asked if we wanted desserts or not (which we did). The waitress took our plates and walked off before I could get a word in. Eventually we got our order in and only at the last bites, we got our water. 5 times I asked, from start to finish. Not just the waitress but even the manager of the restaurant. We never received an apology for the lack of attentiveness or the delays and waiting. But for what it's worth, we weren't the only ones appearing to have a dining experience like that. From looking around alot of tables seemed to be waiting and having a poor experience. It took 30min for the waitress to come with the card machine and to my surprise she seemed confused when I didn't tip. I've had years of waiting and kitchen experience, I know how restaurants work, procedures they follow and what the all round standard is. This experience curled my toes from the lack of organisation, politeness and quality of food and service. I really didn't want to pay for anything, I felt mugged of a nice night and money I work hard to earn. In the 2.5 hours I spent there, only 30min was spent actually eating. The rest was spent waiting and being blatantly ignored by staff. I cant even say it was because they were understaffed or super busy, the restaurant was half empty and had enough hands to manage. I want my time and money back.

Really really disappointed food was awful. Ordered 2 portions of cheesey potato skins, the potato was undercooked and hard and there was hardly any cheese on, one potato skin didn’t have any cheese! Also ordered vegan garlic cheese pizza as there was no option for normal cheese garlic pizza, was absolutely disgusting couldn’t eat it. Ended up throwing it away after 1 slice and didn’t even touch the second portion of potato skins was so bad.

Enjoyed a Saturday brunch visit. Really liked the music and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had the eggs benedict. The eggs were very nice, but the gluten free roll was very tough and I struggled to cut it. But I would be happy to eat there again.

Haven't been here for years but was very disappointed. Restaurant was only half full so not busy. Reasonable amount of staff the service wasn't good. Seated quickly but be warned the menu they display outside the restaurant isn't the menu they give you. You will need to ask for the outside menu. Food order taken quickly, drinks delivered after 15mins but receiving the food took over 45mins. Asked for water and another drink when food arrived but didn't get them until we had finished eating and was waiting to pay. So, safe to say we will not be returning.

Visited 13/01: the entrance and inside is wheelchair accessible and easy to get around and in and out of. After trying several other places around 13:30/14:00 on Saturday we came to F&B and asked for a table to be seated straight away. This is a large F&B with the capacity to seat a lot of people so I don’t think there’s ever an issue getting a table. It took a little longer to get served but nothing overly problematic. Once we had ordered our drinks came very quickly and then the food wasn’t too long after that. We ordered a pepperoni and extra chilli’s (free on F&B!) pizza and a bbq chicken pizza and some hot fries. They all were warm temperature wise and tasted good. I’ve not been to a F&B for a while but after this visit I would definitely consider it an option more- seems to be better than TGI Fridays in my opinion, friendlier staff and heard several happy birthday songs during our visit. There is an accessible toilet which was clean. 2 pizza, large wine, cider and hot fries for £44 on a busy Saturday afternoon- not bad!

Becky our waitress was fab, very helpful when one of the kids items wasn’t available, willing to make amendments to ensure they’d be happy! Also had 3 kids birthdays which they all got a candle in their pudding for! Lovely food, and fantastic service! Thank you :)

Food is very good especially the ribs and the service is always friendly especially from the managers. Don't normally have to book in advance for the table and conveniently located in Cabot Circus.

Dont be suprised when you see F&Bs going out of business in the UK market in couple of years. Shameful practices and worst service ive ever seen. First of all, if you plaster a promotion all over your windows, i will demand that, i dont care about fine print where you hide all the details. Then the waiters literally spitting to your face like you are their friends. Shame, just shame. I will be enjoying reading your demise in the news!
