The wait for food was really long. We waited for a long time when we first entered the door. Only after the customers behind us came in did someone come to greet us. The customers behind us got the food first. We only ordered two burgers but waited for half the time. more than hours.

We popped him with the children as we walked in. Chelsea welcomed us. I believe she is the general manager show the stair table explained all the main news was really interactive with the children That was excellent as we have been dragging around the shops even the chef's waved to the children as we walk past the kitchen. Really enjoyed our meal and the children are still talking about it on the drive home cannot please Chelsea and her team enough. Will definitely be back. I'm looking forward to it

A lovely evening at Frankie & Bennys in Cabot Circus. Food was really fresh and tasty. Service was exceptional, staff were attentive and friendly. The young lady dealing with our order was very impressive, remembering everything we ordered & the changes we requested & absolutely nailing it on the little details like adding a slice of orange to my daughters mocktail which she loved. Very impressed & would definitely come back again

We came to grab a bite because It was my birthday and we rarely eat out. When we walked in we have been advised that it will be a wait. We have been served by Amari and there was a manager helping around. We didn’t have to wait long at all. Service was excellent and food delicious.

We came in at 19:45, the manager on shift as I presume welcomed us in. When we came in there were 4 tables sat down and we were the 5th. I presume they are short staffed for today however there was no tables that was meant to be served. Waited 25 minutes to order then after 20 minutes got our order and was wrong, gave us garlic bread when we didn’t ordered, apparently it was the order for the table next to us, the waiter gave the bread to the table next to us after laying it down on our table. Working in hospitality as a manager the service and the attitude is just disgusting. My main reason to complaint is because they asked for a freaking tip when there was no service. It’s very unfair to pay the tip when it was not well earned. My opinion anyway.

Bad service I went today with my kids to have a food.the lady(blonde) on front of the door was very rough very disrespectful and says we can't have a table couse we don't have booked one.the place was almost empty. Please if you not work without booking pit some not on the front of the door so people not waist time with rough people like this blonde lady!!!!!! Never go again!!!!

The shop was really understaffed when me and my partner went there. Had to wait in the reception for about 20 minutes to be seated. Only 2 staffs in the front of house doing 5 staffs job. One was a bartender/ waitress/uber eats packer and host all in one at the same time. Another employee had to take care of all the cleaning while the shop was so crowded as usual. When I visited there when I first arrived Bristol 2 years ago, it was a very decent restaurant with good food and better atmosphere. This time was just a bad experience which made us to feel not wanting to go back again. We ordered two carbonara with shredded chicken expecting we would receive flat noodles carbonara as usual. But guess they were out of flat noodles and they served us with spaghetti noodles. Normally, Frankie's chicken carbonara should be with flat noodles and very visible chicken pieces in it,but they put too little and too small shredded chicken that we could not even see or feel the taste. We politely asked the employee if it was the right order, but she was so angry and pointed at the food to us showing there was chicken over here and there. Then, we ate cheesy garlic bread but it was salty and less tasty. We also ordered milkshake. My partner's oreo milkshake was good but my Maltesers milkshake was just plain milk flavour with about 6 maltesers chocolate balls in it. A total of bill around 56 quids but not worth to go there again.

Stop for a bite to eat having eaten here before unfortunately on this occasion the experience was not too good. My wife and I were seated very quickly and our drinks and I chicken wings starter came nice and quickly but that was as good as it got. There seemed to be a lack of staff and one waitress doing more than her fair share (wearing an apron) but not being supported by another female waitress / manager (no apron). The chef’s were getting the food cooked in good time but it took far too long taking the food from the servory to the diners. My classic burger was warm by the time I got it and the fries warm to luke warm, and my wife’s macaroni cheese was very hot but dry. We would eat there again as on two other occasions we’ve enjoyed the meals and we like the atmosphere.

My friend and I added multiple items to our burgers and they came out perfectly cooked and very well presented considering how tall we had made them. Excellent service definitely coming back here next time we are in town.

It was a lovely looking restaurant with lots of seats, mostly booths and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Staff were nice and friendly. Unfortunately the menu was quite restricted, both in choices and because they didn't have a few foods on the menu in stock. Otherwise, the drink menu was great and had lots of choices. When a member of my group got her spaghetti bolognese, there was barely any actual bolognese on this. When she spoke to waitress about this the waitress was kind about it and took it the kitchen, but there was no other attempt to rectify this, even just give us some more Bolognese. Overall, the food was okay, the atmosphere was really nice and service was friendly.

Well not had a meal here for a while and after booking a table we arrived and it was pleasant. I had the Xmas special meal all okay until The gravy arrived for the calzoni arrived the gravy was a jelly, it went back and became a V hot jelly not moving. Third time lucky the gravy was sorted.

Ordered the Calzone, wasn't impressed with the fact that it came with a side salad smothered in Ranch Dressing, despite it not actually specifically saying it on the menu, my servertook it awayandput my calzoneon a new plate BUT a portion of the bottom of my food still had the Ranch Dressing all over it. Now even though they ask about allergies before you even get a table how can anyone advise the server to leave items off a dish that they are allergic too IF its not actually stated that said items are on the actual dish? I don't think I'll bother going to another one because I never have a good time

Great meals with lots of choices for healthy eating. Party of 9 including 2 children. All selected different meaĺs that were served together and all hot. Restaurant had lots of staff and patrons. Staff were friendly and efficient. Meals took a while, but it was acceptable.

I hate leaving bad reviews, but our experience here yesterday was appalling and not what I'd expect at all. First of all, our waiters weren't very attentive at all and were rather stood talking about their breaks as we waited to be served. When my food came out, the chicken burger, it was covered in grease and tasted frozen. Something you would expect in a takeaway rather than a place like this. Again, the waiters did not ask us how the food was, had they done so they would have seen I only had about 3 bites of the burger and left it. After nobody came to serve us when we were finished my partner had to find a waiter to ask for the bill. She took our plates away without saying anything, gave us the bill and had the cheek to ask us to leave a good review. This is our second time visiting this restaurant but unfortunately after this experience, I don't think we will be returning.

The best restaurant in Cabot Circus, Bristol! I recently visited Frankie's with a group of friends, and we had an amazing experience. The restaurant offers a fantastic selection of cocktails, and the food was absolutely delicious. The highlight of our evening was the outstanding service. Our waitress, Kam, went above and beyond to help us choose dishes that suited everyone’s dietary needs, as many of us have food intolerances, which can make dining out challenging. Kam was incredibly patient and attentive, making sure our entire group had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend Frankie's! We’ll definitely be back soon.

But recently all the things are gone downhill,came here tonight at 6:30pm,ordered our food and drinks about 6:45. We got our drinks at about 7:30. The beef burger were burnt my daughter barely ate it👎👎,food prices are gone up again . Didn’t worth it.

Went to frankie & Benny’s at cabot on Sunday 13/10/24 at around 13:00. I was with my wife and my baby, we’ve been sat down by the manager, however we had to wait around 25 minutes for someone to even come to the table. Actually they never came, we literately walked out as the server went to a table next to us who had arrived about 10-15 minutes after we did. That was an absolute joke. Service was absolutely poor, i have never had to wait 25 minute to order drinks or for a server to even acknowledge us. Would not recommend nor return.

Good selection of food on the menu. The staff were very friendly and Pav was so great with my young kids.

Awful, just don't go!!! Simple!!! Food took 45 minutes but only because I asked where our food was, so probably would of took longer. Drinks slow, 2nd round never turned up! Chicken burger was overwrites, roll not nice, fries cold. Just go elsewhere! Full of empty promise this place! Deliveroo and Just Eat are getting priority over actual dining in customers. You feel really let down! Will not return to any branch of F&B

We have had good service and food previous hence our rerun , but this time was absolutely shocking . came in waited to be seen yet only 1 staff member visible , eventually got seated in a booth with a massive rip in the seat , whilst waiting for drink order to be taken I went to the toilet to find it dirty as if no cleaning had been done , locks on the doors broken . We eventually at got our drinks we then ordered our food and apparently it’s a new menu and some of the item weren’t in stock because they hadn’t been sent to suit the new menu which after 20 min I could see was on the counter and sat there for another 15min . We got the food and the pizza was cold my partners GF pasta dish wasn’t cooked properly felt rushed as pasta wasn’t cooked . I mean my daughter of 13 can cook pasta better than that . We had our plates collected was asked if we wanted anything else which was a defo NO to then wait another 20 min for the bill . The only good thing was the 3 shakes we had everything else was horrible . £60 on food that I could have paid £15 at Tesco and it would have tasted better . Seems like you had 3 staff members on all running around yet not getting anywhere . The manager needs to look at staffing levels because clearly the standard drops and the good service customers expect can’t be given . No music just pure silence .

Restaurant was not exactly busy (maybe 18 of us in the whole place) and it still took them over 20 minutes to serve our drinks (after we asked where they were) and after a 45 minute wait for food which still hadn't been cooked we decided to leave. Shockingly bad. Can see why it wasn't very busy during a lunchtime now!

Our waitress, Kam, was absolutely wonderful—nothing but praise for her service. The food was delicious and served at the perfect temperature. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience.

Food was okay but there was not much options for the mains. Food took a while even though no one else was there. Toilets were clean and the whole restaurant in general looked nice and was clean. The pizza and the Ceasar salad were very nice, alongside with the Barbecue chicken.

We went to the restaurant in cabot circus in bristol. Ended up having to leave. Sat for 20 minuets waiting to have our order to be taken. I sympathise that it was busy so was willing to wait, however we had to leave after another couple who had just sat down was served. They weren't even able to take thier order as they hadn't been there long enough to decied. Ridiculous.

Other people walked straight back out, I wish we had. Over an hours wait for food. We went before seeing Grease there was one waitress when we got there. Waited an hour and my meal was incorrect. They gave us money off bill but when you get in a restaurant at 5.20pm and you need to be at the hippodrome at 7.30pm that should be plenty of time. If food is going to be an hour, let the people know before they order. It was a treat for my daughter's birthday and ended up rushing. Won't be eating here again. Seemed to be doing take aways before our food. Will be going to Cribbs on future!

Chelsea was ace and chatted with us about our evening and our work as we had a drink at the bar. Expertly made and tasted brilliant.

Absolutely atrocious service by a dark haired lady, very rude and the service was so slow, would not return. Everybody looked totally depressed waiting for their food, I heard lots of grumbles from nearby tables.

Have been to this Frankie & Benny’s many times, and we always have a good time! On this occasion, our server Kam was basically running the show by herself. She had to deal with around 8 tables herself and did it so well and quickly! Our food was fresh and hot, and very tasty! All in all, we had a lovely time, and we got a great deal on the 2 course set menu. Would recommend to everyone, and thank you Kam!

Wednesday evening, and not busy. Having been turned away from TGIs because they didn’t have enough staff on to deal with more than ten tables (their words, not mine!) I saw Frankies. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Frankies because I’ve never been overly impressed and because my local one closed. This was different. The service was fast and attentive, staff were great, the chicken strips were perfectly cooked and the dip was tasty. My steak was perfectly done as medium rare, not too fatty, and skin on fries were great dipped in the coleslaw. Was it pricey? Yes but I had two courses and a side and a large coke, and my main was steak, so I expect it to be. Plus, everything is expensive now! Overall, really really good. Well done everyone. You’ve restored my faith in the brand. Thank you.

Waited a long time to be seated and when we was eventually sat down, they took a long time to come over and order our drinks, when the waitress came over, she asked what we wanted to drink my nephew was just looking at be menu, and she simply said I’ll come back when you have actually decided, rude and very dismissive. When the food arrived cold and not tasty at all, I found the whole experience very off putting food is disgusting. Service is terrible and over all just not good. Would not recommend to come here avoid

Poor service, took a long time for us to be able to have our drinks ordered. Myself and my partner both had pasta dishes, it would have been more appropriate for a child, the portion sizes were unbelievably small. Definitely wasn’t worth the amount that we paid at all, very disappointed.

Food came out separately, my chicken parmigiana was not warm enough, pasta and broccoli was actually cold, food had been put in a cold plate. My son’s pizza was burned, the second one they bought out (15 mins later) was uncooked. It’s kids warming food up in a microwave type of kitchen. They offered to take the pizza off the bill, I had a taste card so it would have been free anyway. Avoid, unless you like uncooked food.

Food was smashing. Two adults pizzas, one child pizza, one Mac and cheese and some loaded fries all tasted amazing which also meant we took advantage of the kids eat free offer that was running. Kam was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly and informative. Interaction with our tired and teasy two year old was much appreciated and she went above and beyond for us. Kudos to the chefs, barman and Kam.
