FABULOUS. Staff, food, atmosphere. Again !! 6 of us old timers had great food and a great time. Staff are tops Thanks👍🙌

Me and my husband wanted some lunch and brought our special need child. Our child will not eat at Nando’s so we brought him food and were told he could not eat it there and turned us away even though we were paying customers. There were only 3 other groups in there at the time so clearly they didn’t care about getting more money. We have done this same thing at other Nando’s and they have always been supportive. Very disappointed and will not be back

Came here for an evening meal with the family. We order our meals, I had a bean wrap with loaded fries while the rest of the family had chicken in pitta or wraps. Staff were very pleasant and polite, but we were left waiting for our food for well over 30 mins, in a near empty restaurant. However once it came it was delicious and cook to perfection. So overall worth the wait.

Great taste, service and staff. Family of 5 ordered different meals and everyone enjoyed their meals. Can't wait to go again.

Good experience. The staff are great, especially Ellie. The food is lush. It is one of the quieter Nando’s you will find so your food is not rushed & enhances your experience.

We were a large family group so had to wait a bit to get seated but the staff did their utmost to get this done quickly. The service was absolutely excellent and the food arrived all at the same time, warm and well cooked. A really enjoyable evening.

Food was okay, portions were on the small side and one meal was cold but this was rectified straight away. Customer service was okay. Overall a nice lunch but the food and atmosphere could be better.

We visited today as a group of 3. The food was delicious as always and came out quickly! Good Covid precautions in place in the restaurant and the service was friendly.

Main Meal, just what you'd expect. No complaints.Deserts, a bit overpriced (especially the SMALL custard tart) but nice. Staff, all very friendly and helpful.App for ordering food at the table ..... Absolutely nightmare. Stars removed simply for this disaster of a decision. Your staff should just be furnished with tablets to take the order, as most people, including us, gave up on the app and needed to use a normal service.

First time trying the takeaway and while it was ready on time, they forgot part of the order. Was not impressed.

Arrived on Friday night about 1815 ..used QR code to outside to register as wanting a table. Told wait would be 20 minutes..an hour later still waiting. When we then got in ordered straight away and had about an hour wait for food. 15 minutes of that our food was in the counter waiting to be delivered to our table. Numerous staff walked pass looked at it but couldn't be bothered to bring it to us.

Ordered a takeaway from your Didcot store for collection at 6.55. When arriving on time, the order wasn’t ready and was made to stand outside in the rain and cold. I did not get my order until 7.25. After standing in the rain and waiting half an hour there was no apology or acknowledgement. I have since arrived home and have items missing from my order.

I had planned on not giving any bad reviews during covid as I know everybody is still learning, but I visited Nandos didcot yesterday and they didnt even have basic service knowledge. Things that went wrong: 1. ordering app awful and hard to use2. after about 20 minutes after ordering the server said "are you sure you've ordered - we havent got anything" - I checked and showed him my order confirmation and email reciept. They had clearly lost it. He ran off to the kitchen.4.30 minutes later - we finally get a drink. 4. 35 minutes later the order arrives. They have brought a chicken wrap for my partner instead of pitta. We show them our receipt, no apology given, he grabs the plate and takes it away.5. 10-15 minutes later, my food is cold, the pitta arrives (still no apology) with chips but no peri salt on as ordered. He goes off to get peri salt. 6. Still no apology, so I tell them how uphappy I am about everything. He says "ok but is everything ok now". He leaves, and does not report back to manager. No apology or compensation offered at all. Terrible, second experience at didcot nandos and both have been bad so I'll avoid this branch at all costs. Mistakes happen and we dont mind, but learn some manners and say sorry, we're paying customers after all.

We have eaten at this Nando's several times and never been disappointed. The staff are friendly, service is quick and the food fantastic! 2 hours free parking by Sainsbury's and the town has improved a lot over the last couple of years so worth visiting.Today we tried the pitta bread with chicken thigh, halloumi and garlic aoli in, was absolutely beautiful!

Called to place a takeaway order - I was told there tills were broken and they couldn’t take my order and I had to do it online- this was not possible as I was driving. I pulled over to do this and when I arrived they messed up my order - 25 chicken wings wow - but the thing that made me angry was there till were working when I got there

We've eaten here a few times without any issues. Last time we waited for a long time for our starters to arrive, eventually one arrived then the second came around 10 mins after that, followed by our third which actually came with our meals.Eating with young children and we were hoping for a fairly quick turn around, which we didn't get this time.Lets hope it was just an unfortunate, one off, staffing issue.

Great service, great food. Walking in we were put straight to a table, parents of two (teen & child of 5yrs) prompt service & polite throughout. Great value for money at just over £50 for a the 4 of us (drinks and meals without desert). Fantastic

The floors were filthy as well as the toilets. The windows looked as though Spider-Man had walked on them. We then had 2 bottomless soft drinks. All the drinks were flat . We proceeded to inform the staff of the problem which was rectified on Classic coke but not the Coke Zero. My worst Nando’s experience ever!

Five of us ordered from this Nando’s... everyone else got their food but I did not get my Corn on the Cob. NOT impressed. Corn is a key component of my diet.Also Kieran’s chicken was dry and Frosty was given way to many peas.Nando’s in Stoke-On-Trent is far superior... These Didcot folk should take a look to their superior colleagues to the North.

As a lover of Nando’s I was disappointed today with our visit. We had to wait for a table which was fine but there were just not enough staff so the few waiting staff there were couldn’t get the orders out very quickly. There were at least 10 meals sat under the hot counter so when ours was finally bought over the chicken had dried up. The staff were friendly but there were just not enough of them! It wasn’t their fault but I couldn’t see a manager there in control of anything.

Visited on a Saturday lunch time. Had to wait 15 minutes to be seated but that was ok. Placed our order almost immediately and waited just over 35 minutes for it to arrive - we only had salads each so no cooking involved. Also it was very cold in there and had to put our coats on. The staff however were really helpful and pleasant, probably won’t be rushing back.

Have eaten in and had take-aways many times. Always good standard and fast and efficient. A great business model for a fast food place and kept well in terms of cleanliness

I visited on a Saturday evening, where the restaurant seemed to be quiet. The lady who sat us with heavy tattoos and a nose piercing abandoned us after putting us on a table. She didn’t explain how Nando’s worked as we presumed it was table service and that we would order at our tables. When I later approached the same girl, she was stood at the pass nattering away to a young boy (about 15) for a good 10 minutes before I came to her attention, which I then gave up and returned to my table. I shall not be returning again with your staff’s attitude. The food however was incredible, so thank you to the kitchen.

Since our first visit in July we have visited again since as was so impressed. Once again the food was fantastic and the service was friendly and welcoming. The prices are reasonable and the food is good quality and plentiful. We honestly cannot fault Didcot Nando's.

After being put off at my last attempt to eat a Nando's in Oxford a few years ago I was somewhat nervous about my recent visit to the Didcot branch.

Nando's need to up its game and cater for people who want to skip the booze. Having no alcohol-free beers is not what we expected in a family restaurant nowadays. Please improve!

Ate here in July and it is the worst Nando's chicken I have eaten. We all agreed that the chicken was dry and chewy. No roasted veg available so offered chickpeas with spinach and another dish of broccoli. Both were cold on arrival at the table.

We visited today for our first ever Nandos experience and definitely wasn't disappointed. We ordered the butterfly chicken with peri peri fries and coleslaw and the butterfly chicken burger with coleslaw and spicy rice. The service was friendly and welcoming throughout and the food was served really quickly. The chicken burger came in a delicious warm bun and everything was absolutely faultless. We will definitely return again.

Really lovely meal, plates were empty, one was a vegan and was catered for. All had refills on drinks good value

First time going to a nandos food was excellent. Service was kinda slow and the waiters were very uninterested. My review lost a star due to the waiters not telling us we need to get our OWN plates and cutlery and also go to the till to order food. This WASNT explained to us. Kind of weird you have to get up to get your own plates and things very odd. I dont know how this works when it's really busy. Oh well not as amazing as people make it out to be unless you love just chicken

just visited nandos staff friendly food so so had chicken wrap which was ok and a side order of chips which were very poor quality. we opted for bottomless glass soft drinks these were tasteless and no fizz would not go back and would not recommend, over priced eatery better else where in didcot

Throughout the experience all the staff were lovely and very helpful. The location is very close to the station and plenty of shops and parking around. However the whole restaurant was unclean, there was lots of food and napkins on the floor, the toilets were also unclean. I had the butterfly chicken, which I have every time and enjoy however this time it was very dry and tasteless.

The staff was very helpful and I think location is great so I got a bottomless coke and disided to put ice in it and it tasted kind of funny like chlorine sort of taste so I wouldn’t recommend putting ice in your drink . And food arrived chips tastes lovely chicken abit over cooked for my liking. and bugger bun was abit hard so it wasn’t all good but if your hungry you will eat anything as that was how I felt at the time

Bright, spacious, delicious food; a great family option. Such good options for kids including bottomless frozen yogurt which can be a winner while waiting for mains to arrive!

The restaurant seemed to be experiencing teething problems the first time I visited however this still seems to be the case.

No cutlery, dirty sauce bottles, poor food. The so called lettuce on my burger was black on the edges. My daughter found a piece of plastic amongst her food. We complained to a helpful staff member who apparently told the manager who did not speak to us but sent over a bowl of chips. Won't be going back

Went here last night. Have been to different Nando's before. This is quite new and the decor is great.

Exactly what you expect from a Nando’s. Staff were very friendly and the service was quick. Tasty double chicken pita for the win!

Staff weren’t very helpful since we were all Nando virgins. Thought food was quite greasy and overpriced wouldn’t rush back

Been here twice and never again. First time we saw cooked food on counter, with staff walking past it and couldn't be bothered to pick it up and bring it to our table (after 15 minutes went up to collect it ourselves). With takeaway : ordered food for pick up at 7.45pm Saturday. Arrived at restaurant at 7.30pm food was then given to us at 8.05pm. When we mentioned delay to the person who we presumed was the Manager, 'he' then deliberately held up our order longer as he opened every box to check it !!!!. Knew this was the case as when we got home...four of our sides were still missing

Thought we’d try a takeaway rather than sit in. Our half chicken was over cooked with burnt skin and dry. The corn on the cob was over cooked and dry. The sweet potato fries were awful but the chips were okay. Expected better as been open for a while, no where near as good as Newbury or Oxford.

I visited Nandos at Didcot today - 1 November 2018 and was horrified when I went to place my order to see that there was a swarm of big black flies around the cooking area. I pointed this out to the young lady at the till and she just smiled. I asked to see the manager and another young lady came along and said that she was sorry and that they had 'put in a call' about the flies. At this stage we walked out. Surely this poses a health hazzard and they should not be able to cook food with flies swarming around it. I shudder to think what the state of the kitchen at the back must be in if this is what the public can see. I shall not be going back there.

Popped in for a Saturday lunch. Dirty cutlery that was a pain to change. Unhelpful staff who were too busy chatting between themselves to notice customers. A ridiculously long wait for our food, that sat on the shelf in front of us for 15 mins whilst the staff chatted amongst themselves. I love Nandos but won't be going back to this one - standard is well below the norm. Don't judge Nandos by this restaurant.

We've stopped while shopping in Didcot for a quick lunch and what a disappointment. The chicken in the burger was dry and tasteless, and the fries were disgusting. We will never make the same mistake again.

Not the same usual Nando’s standard. Chicken the last three times (in pitta) came without being flashed on the grill. Literally chicken breast with some of the Nando’s sauce slapped on it and not the usual salad filling in the pitta’s (with mayo) either... maybe teething problems to begin with but things still not great having visited a further two more times (1 sit down visitand 1 takeaway collection which they also mucked up on the order bagging the wrong items !). Not good. Expect more.

On my second visit to this new branch, it was fairly quiet but when I went to place my order I noticed a lot of plates of food under the heat lamps waiting to be delivered to tables. There were plenty of staff around. My meal arrived in a reasonable time and was good. The waitress who took my order wasn't very interested and nobody came to check and collect the 'chick on the stick' on the table, before I left. I've used Nando's many, many times in different cities and the service here was not nearly as good as other branches. Its only a small restaurant. I hope these issues are picked up and dealt with.

I realise how ironic it is to look for vegan food in a place that’s know for chicken... but anyway, we went for dinner with some friends spontaneously and wow was I surprised by the really well informed staff. They helped us suss out what we could veganise and made it stress free! 10/10 for staff and food! Really impressed! Lovely atmosphere too.

Went for our first meal at this new Nandos in Didcot on a Saturday night. There was a 20 minute wait for a table, which probably was to be expected as it had a very small restaurant. Once seated, after ordering, we waited at least 30 minutes for our food and saw people who had come in after us being served. My food was burnt and very disappointing.

Came in with two friends and Beth was immiedietly friendly and kind. Made sure were okay and was very pleasant. A wonderful member of the team and could not do anything wrong for us.

Lovely new Nando’s. Just what Didcot needed. Staff were very friendly and polite, food was delish and the place is really stylish.

We knew what to expect food wise and wasn't disappointed, but what made this a lovely family dining experience was the friendly and attentive Staff. We also found the restaurant to be clean. We were really pleased and look forward to returning soon.

Having not been to a Nando's before and with the Didcot branch being newly opened, I was quite looking forward to giving it a try. However, despite this Nando's being newly opened, it was really quite grubby. We had popped in for an impromptu late lunch and were taken to a table as soon as we arrived. Whilst being shown to our table, the general impression was of a badly organised space which felt cluttered, disorganised and hard to move about in which, considering the semi diy nature of Nando's service, was not ideal. On the plus side, ordering was straight foward and the food came quickly and was OK for what it was. The main disappointment was the general cleanliness. The floor was covered in scraps of food which had fallen or been brushed off the tables earliler. It obviously hadn't been swept at all during the days service nor was the table properly wiped down before we were seated and for this alone, we won't be coming back.

My first visit to Nandos. You cannot book so we went at 12pm and got seated straight away. I did try and go on another day at 7pm but there was an hour wait on tables. I ordered chicken thighs in a mild sauce, it was lovely and the meal arrived quickly. It was quite a small restaurant so if you go in the evening expect to wait.

A really nice new Nando’s at Didcot Orchard Centre. The inside is bright & clean, as you’d expect from a brand new restaurant, with the colourful & funky decor that is typical of Nando’s. Although it has two levels, there is only seating on the ground floor (which includes a few tables outside on the pavement terrace area), as the upstairs is just a staff area & customer bathrooms. As such, we found the tables filled up really fast even though we visited just after opening at 11.30am on a Sunday - it’s clearly a popular choice!

Light, spacious and airy ... I really loved the design of this layout. The service was quick and the staff are friendly.

As a long term Nandos fan this qualifies as a great Nandos, but is perhaps a little smaller than I'd have expected.
