Best Chinese food we’ve had in along time Definitely use again & again !!! Piping hot Delicious Good quality & quality Delivered quickly Maybe alittle more expensive then others but much nicer

Looks like a takeaway from the 80s. Food was tasteless. Rice was hard and cold.

The quality of the food has deteriorated from what it used to be. We had a large family meal which came to £75, so not an inexpensive outing. To be fair some of the food was first rate like the Crispy duck (as good as it gets) and special fried rice was ok but the salt & pepper chicken was like rubber, the shredded chicken was so hard nearly broke my teeth and rest was just average at best. I did phone to point out our disappointment but was told this is it, and that is what their customers wanted????? We will NOT be going back and would NOT recommend.

Had many takeaways from here but this one will be my last.The containers were less than half full then filled up with juice which was awful. I know the prices have gone up but surely they shouldn’t be cutting us back this much. So SUNRISE GOODBYE.

Ordered set meal A. It was suppose to come with mushroom chicken curry. But, they sent me only mushroom curry, no chicken at all! Who eats mushroom gravy with fried rice??! They’re not picking up my call. Avoid them people!

Food smelt off, I would not recommend

Very nice food. Piping hot on arrival. Waiting was about an hour, but worth the wait. 5 star from us. Will use again.

Very disappointing. Both dishes overly sweet and gloopy with no discernible flavour. 'Meat' bland and chewy. To be avoided.

Absolutely diabolical, wet, tasteless and more onions than anything else. Avoid at all cost.

What is the deal with poor take aways and didcot. Especially chinese.. Do better with a supermarket chinese than here.,

Poor food. Fluro Crazy food colourings that will trip you out!! Ate almost nothing of it and asked for a refund. Man abruptly visited our home, his face told the real story when he tried the food we had decided not to eat because it was terrible. DO NOT GO HERE.

Ordered from here for the first time today I expected it to be good even though the reviews were mixed (should of listened to the reviews) I collected the food and when I started to eat it, the pork curry was off (pork was sour meaning it is out of date). The chips had a tangy taste and was over cooked so I couldn't eat them and it was overall just greasy. My curry was just grease no sauce. Phoned to complain but they were not helpful at all had to repeat myself several times and they didn't even offer a refund or a explanation. Bad customer service. Avoid this place and take the bad reviews into account as I was so digusted with what I received. Do not recommend! Waste of money. If you treasure you life, do not go here you will end up with food poisoning or dead in hospital. Need health and safety to come and inspect this place, its a danger. Take this review seriously, it really isn't worth the effort and wait for horrible food.

1st time we ordered from Sunrise. Food was delicious and kids loved it too.

Best and most favourite takeaway place! Udon is amazing. Soups are really simple yet tasty. The Beijing friend chicken is to die for!!! Absolutely love their food!!!

Ordered food 2 hours ago, phoned several times to no answer. Ended up going down ourselves to find it sat on side only just warm and the staff response was "what you want me to do, not my fault". Order from another takeout.

Absolutely wonderful Chinese. Visiting my dad today and ordered from Sunrise for the first time. I love my Chinese where I live and I’ve never found another as nice but Sunrise in Didcot is outstanding. We had S&S Chicken Balls, Beef Curry, Veggie Chow mein, Shredded Chilli Beef, Egg fried rice and Prawn crackers and everything was delicious. I would definitely recommend them.

Half of the food was cold, watery

My friend order on line but we pick up a menu yesterday as we was passing my the shop and we look at the menu we order on line and on the menu it said you get 10% off if you order on line but it said out of date so we still order and the price are different on line to the menu you can’t have 2 price that’s false advertise meant and I was not happy with the food my omelet was cold and it was spicy no good I put in the bin and my lemon chicken was the worst I have ever had that when in the bin too the only things that was any good was the chips and the duck and sweet and sour pork £25 something? Really

A simple & nice takeout. Smoked chicken, salt & peper anything & any of the udon dishes are all recommended. Worth a shout for a late night dish.

Such well mannered lovely staff. Really tasty food cooked to perfection not too much or too less of anything. Some places are too much salt or grease not here. Just nice flavours prompt delivery hot food and nice manners. Spot on! A* all round! 👍

Posting by a Chinese person myself, I couldn’t rate Sunrise more highly. Food is fresh, service is already prompt and the staff are friendly. More importantly, I taste a lot less monosodium Glutamate (msg) in their food than in others.

Rice was very bad and sticky and stinky. Not good at all. Ordered for £30 and the food was very bad, I had to throw it at it had a very bad smell. Completely disappointed.

Possibly the worst meal I've had this year. Duck chow mein with more unrendered fat than actual duck, and what was there could have been any meat as it had been overdone to the point it was virtually unidentifiable. The remaining noodles and sauce had no taste other than low quality cooking oil. "Crispy" would be the optimum word for the crispy wontons. Virtually void of any filling they were massively overcooked, well past the light crispy texture they were supposed to be and into the realm of shoe leather with a colouration that was akin to David Dickinson. Scrapes a star back for delivering on time, albeit 50 minutes (which I'd presume was how long the wontons were in the fryer for) and providing a can that was actually cold.

Nice choices of food. Always cooked nicely and the staff are really friendly too. Never have to wait long from ordering.

My colleague went into town and managed to visit the wrong takeaway despite clear instructions (she is not from Didcot) The result was she reported sick for work on Friday! How can this outlet operate! The food is atrocious! The food was raw! The order was incorrect! It was cooked in less than 5 minutes! I have preserved a sample for spectrometry OMG

We ordered because of ‘score on the door’ being 4....good start.....The salt and pepper chicken or prawn was edible and quite enjoyable. But then the mains....Schechuan Beef or Chicken and cashew were both bright red.....at this point I should have know....covering meat with food colouring.....Diarrhoea 4 hours later!

Best Chinese in Didcot, have the best salt n pepper chips in the area (yummy chips) and great duck. They deliver really fast, and are nice people.

Just experienced my first takeaway from Sunrise, and I can honestly say it was by far the best takeaway I have had in a long time. Far better than any other Didcot take out! Hoping that next time will be as good..

Don't ever eat here! The woodlice and customer service is welcoming but the food stay away!!! Complicated menu with no one to cook it. I hate running a place down but this is atrocious.

To ensure fresh and clean foods, I insisted to go for Takeaway shops with minimum of 4 stars review awarded by food standards agency. This shop was my favourite compared with lots of Chinese takeaway shops around here with only 2 stars reviews. You are what you eat, make sure our foods come from clean and hygiene source.

Very.disappointed .. I felt misled with incorrect naming .i ordered udon japanese noodles ,which should be noodles in soup. But I got is just noodle with chicken peices , it's like selling chicken curry without curry at all. When I called and asked , they responded saying "I know it comes with soup but we don't do soup"

Food was good apart from trying to take lid of curry sauce, would not come off, the pot of curry sauce had split, was a soggy pot, was so hot. The sauce went all over hand and burnt me.... Not good... And unhappy. ( never happen to me before.)

Ordered a meal on Friday evening and it arrived after between 30 - 40 minutes. Usually can't complain about the food quality or standard from here but this time 50% of the order was cold. Both bags of spring rolls and the yummy chips were hot on arrival and maintained their heat but both the main meals (Tofu stir fry, and Chicken Satay) and rice were lukewarm and got cold very quickly. Will try here again but disappointing experience.

Have ordered food from Sunrise a number of times over the past few years. In my opinion, this is the best Chinese takeaway in Didcot. There's a lot of options on the menu, my favourite being the 'Salt & Pepper Tofu' which I haven't seen on any other Chinese menu in the area. Food is always cooked well, and service is quick whether that is via delivery or collection.

Was told delivery would be 45 mins it took and hour and a half, food was cold when arrived. Very bland taste, won't be ordering from here again

these guys are good at what they do. nice food always comes on time very helpful, not too expensive either . hygiene rating is also top rated

Had takeaway, was disappointed that sweat n sour and curry sauce was like water, ruined whole meal, very shocked as normally Sunrise is very good

27/2/15 Had a terrible meal from here tonight,Sweet and sour balls were very hard and chicken inside very dry.The rest of the meal very bland. Have had many meals from here but this one awful
