Really poor quality. Chow Mein was dry, Green pepper and black bean was flavourless and the peppers had turned to mush. Egg fried rice was bland. Spring roles were just about enjoyable but nothing special for £6+. £33 for 2 mains and 2 sides including delivery. Shocking.

Haven't used the restaurant but have had numerous takeaways since the business started. Excellent food and delivery service is very good.

Ordered a takeaway they said it would be at mine in an hour after waiting 1 and half hours I called up and they said the food hasn’t left the restaurants and that it won’t be long another hour had passed I called up again and they said delivery driver couldn’t get through to me which is just a lie!

Delicious and much fresher and healthier than most Chinese food. Not greasy. Veg was crispy and not over cooked. Less salt too. Definitely a go to place now.

Best Chinese takeaway I have had in a long time.

We chose several dishes on recommendation of this place by a friend. The food was ready to be picked up on time but sadly the chow main and chop suey dishes were quite dry and with not enough flavour. The black bean duck dish had lots of sauce but too much salt and flavourings in.

Phoned tonight (Tuesday). The joker on the phone answered "Thame Police Station". When I questioned the number he said I had the wrong number. ( I didn't!!) Loads of people laughing in the background. Called again, the same idiot answered the phone as "Wild Lemon grass" but "we are closed on Tuesdays" Sorry I didn't appreciate the complete lack of customer service and the idiots sense of humour. I will never use the place again.i

Absolutely beautiful! You just can't fault it, whenever we have had a takeaway from here, you want to finish it because its too good to waste. Its tasty, it arrives on time, its hot when it arrives. The driver is very cheerful. Just wondering, if they are open Christmas day?

Food smells like urine as there are far too many bamboo shoots in everything. Most things are overly seasoned with MSG - tastes far too salty. The peaking duck was also full of tiny bones, not what you want to pick out when eating pancakes. Was hoping this would be a hidden gem but unfortunately not.

I wish I read recent reviews before ordering. Food was late and not what we ordered. My kids were so hungry we just ate it. It was disgusting! Way too salty and no flavour at all! £30+ wasted. Will NEVER go back. AVOID!

I’ve used this takeaway a number of times for deliveries and they have always been at least 30 minutes later than stated on order. Unfortunately todays order arrived with an item missing. We called them and left a message and also emailed them. If we don’t get a repsonce and refund then I don’t expect to be using them again.

Always had a take away. Love the food, and lots of veggie options.

Won't be ordering again - we waited nearly two and a half hours for our delivery that we were told would be an hour max. When we called to complain we were told we could have ten percent off our next order but nothing could be done about our wait at all. Needless to say we won't be using that discount!

Really poor service - was told order would take 1 hour to deliver, waited 2 hours. When called to query and was told order had been delivered, but eventually found out it had been delivered to the wrong address. Was promised 10% off my next order....somehow don't think I will be taking them up on that offer!

Website rubbish no confirmation email so went to Thame to check and they said yes they have the order and will deliver. It arrived nearly 2 hours later !! And as other reviews an item to the value of nearly 7 £ missing. No point in telling them as we most definitely will no5 be ordering from there again

Two hours delivery time and after no email confirmation and a busy phone line we were short one main course. £7 but will I complain - no point as will never ever order from here again

Overall fantastic service from start to finish, food was tasty and fresh, staff were friendly. The only thing that left me disappointed was discovering that placing my order over the phone would have been about 90p cheaper per item. Avoid the online menu for delivery/collection orders, I ended up paying almost £6 more than I would have by calling.

This was our first time trying this Chinese! It was so so delicious! Crispy and not greasy at all with amazing flavour all round. The guy serving us was so friendly and gave the best customer service with a smile on his face. It was all ready in 15 mins. A great experience all round.

Great food. Always order from this take away. Had a winning meal last night. Best Chinese in the area by far. Hot, non greasy, great selection on menu. Highly recommend. If you’ve not tried them you are missing out. Service and delivery always 5*. Thank you.

Best Chinese take away/delivery by far. Best in the area. Highly recommend. Food menu choice is excellent. Delivery is great. Ordering is easy and they are very professional. Food is amazing, always delivered hot, fresh, non greasy (unlike other Chinese in the area!) and always plenty. If you have not tried this Chinese you are missing out. Was fortunate enough to win a competition they were running last night so add on Facebook as they do regular competitions. Thank you and as usual will be back soon.

Nice Chinese takeaway. As good as Thame Recipe if not slightly better but not a lot in it. Wild Lemongrass does take card payments which is a lot easier though.

Generally good food but the experience can be hit and miss. It's great when it's good. Can be awful if you catch it at the wrong time though. needed an update as it is now rediculusly overpriced for ok food, you can order from what is known as the best chinese in Thame, The Harvest Moon and collect for cheaper. the food is getting more hit and miss now and notes on orders are always missed. sad to see this Chinese go down hill

Good food every time. On a bizzy night yes can be a little bit lat but werth it. Freddy straf allways happy and polite.

Brilliant service will be using more often as my regular one in Wheatley has gone downhill on delivery and keeps missing items, keep up the good service lemon grass

Ordered for the first time. Said would take 1hr 20 mins but took 2hours. Prices are higher than everywhere else and the dishes were not full. We also got given a wrong dish. The chilli beef was moist and crispy which was good. Hopefully if we use again next time will be better in all areas.

First time ordered, absolutely spot on. Not had a Chinese this good since leaving Essex almost 20 years ago. Absolutely enjoyed it.

RUBBISH! Every single time we order a delivery there is something missing. EVERY time. I even say please check it, yes of course we will they say! All they want is your money. STAY AWAY - THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER CHINESE RESTAURANTS ABOUT THAT DO ACTUALLY CARE.

Sadly very disappointed with a takeaway I had delivered from Wild Lemongrass. Typically the food is acceptable, I had an issue when ordering online a while back as according to the lady on reception my request for no garlic wasn't picked up on due to the on-line ordering system not forwarding "notes" through to the kitchen. As aforementioned the food is typically ok so I placed another order, as previously advised this time, by phone due to the on-line ordering issue. Again a request for no garlic, this is due to an absolute dislike not an allergy, thankfully as I could have been reaching for an Epi-pen!! On the bright side a wasted bit of cash is favorable to a serious health incident. I would urge anyone with serious allergy issues to avoid at all costs.

Took ages to try this Chinese as didn’t think it would be as good as others because it’s in a sports centre for some mad reason. Have now had about 4 takeaways and each is better than the last. Have eaten in some really plush Chinese restaurants over the years and I honestly think this is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Always steaming hot when it arrives (and always on time) and we’re 5 miles out of Thame. Large portions, well wrapped but most importantly everything is so fresh and tastes delicious. As an example chicken in fried rice often tastes a bit old or like it’s from an off cut - theirs tastes like pure chicken breast and as though it was cooked fresh and just put in the rice. I also never write reviews certainly not long ones like this but it really is fantastic so felt I had to! Highly recommend 😊

We used Wild Lemongrass for the first time tonight, purely because the phone line to the take-away we'd usually use was engaged for ages. I think I've quite possibly eaten the best Crispy Shredded Chilli Beef I've ever tasted!. Chuck in some Singapore Rice and BBQ Sauce and that was simply awesome food! Other half has raved about his S&S Chicken Balls and how crispy and filled with chunks of meat they were, so I'd that's an all round win! This will be our new regular pitstop for Chinese food - totally deserving of 5 stars!

We have ordered over 10 times from this Chinese. It’s so good the food is always nice and hot and the rice is the best we have ever had!!!! If you are looking for a good Chinese this is hands down the best in Thame. It is not greasy at all they deliver it so quick to deafly worth giving ago.

Rang for one hour (engaged and ringing out ) eventually got through to be told an hour and half wait before I would get my order .

Can’t recommend this place enough! Food is amazing, not as much grease like other Chinese places. Cheap food for great taste! Would highly recommend this place to anyone! Oh, they also deliver!

The outside of the place doesn't look like much at first as its attached to the sports club (meaning plenty of parking) but they have done a really good job of decorating the place and still are and more importantly the food is SO good and the portions are huge the guys that work here couldn't be nicer they really go out of their way to make sure you are happy, have enough food and are happy with the service. Food is always cooked on time whether it be and eat in or takeaway order and it's some of the best Chinese Iv had Highly recommend!
