Choi's in South Oxfordshire

Got our first take away from Choi's last night and the food was amazing. Will definitely be going back.

Had a really lovely meal this weekend from Chois. I’d seen recent reviews but I’ve never had a problem was delicious as always! Food was full of flavour and generous portion sizes, especially the yummy chips. I usually choose to collect on weekends as it’s quicker than delivery and it was ready and hot within 20 minutes! I would recommended the Chois favourite set meal amazing value, it even came in a box!! Will be ordering again

Driver was very apologetic, food wasn’t great. Chicken and cashew was far too sweet. Chop suey was super sour. Wontons were the best bit, well filled and tasty. Probably won’t order again.

Over an hour late trying to call the restaurant but no answer very very disappointed

Order did not arrive. On hold with restaurant for 20 minutes, they didn't come back to the phone. Please advise on requesting a refund.

3 hours and still no food, this is not what I would expect from any restaurant.

Food was supposed to be ready for 6.20 pm and wasn’t ready until 6.55 pm. There was swearing coming from the kitchen and shouting. The food itself was not worth the wait. It was all really salty and bland.

Very poor delivery, 2.5 hours wait, not good enough

Food delivered 3 hours after placing order and over 2 hours after estimated delivery time. Tried to call but line was always engaged. Waited so long without any information that I gave up and made my own dinner. Will not be ordering from here again.

Food arrived 3 hours after ordering and over two hours after the predicted arrival time. It got so late that I gave up and made something for myself. All attempts to contact and chase the order failed. No text request answer and not picking up phone.

Chicken balls burnt, tonight they were inedible that bad threw them away no point phoning and asking for replacement as had no faith they would be any better. Had a few orders from here never actually great quality

Absolute joke. We ordered food tonight, waited over 2hrs for delivery, promised it was on its way multiple times and never showed up. Went down there to collect instead and arrived to the door being locked and the person telling me they're closed.

Was due to be ready to collect for 19:10 - it is now 19:51 and still not ready to collect, lots of angry people in addition to us been waiting for an extortionate amount of time. Should have just settled for making myself some toast!

Pre ordered food and 40 minute additional wait. Chicken dry and overcooked. Poor service experience.

We are a regular customer and we order most of the time the same food, so we already know how good the foods are, but tonight its somehow different with the taste, the salt and pepper chicken it doesnt tasted fresh? and squid salt and pepper, its too chewy and hard? The chopsuey was too red, and saucey like too much sauce in it? ,,

Genuinely the best Chinese in Oxfordshire. The chicken satay starter is so tender it falls off the stick. The homemade curry sauce has a beautiful deep flavour. Have tried half the menu and would recommend to anyone. Their house special mixed chow mein and rice dishes are a meal in one, with beautifully velveted meat and prawns. Can’t rate higher.

Choi's (Didcot) is the best Chinese take-away I have ever been to. Their reputation is based on always using the finest ingredients... meat dishes, the juiciest king prawns, tastiest-ever spare ribs highest quality. Their aromatic crispy duck are always supreme. I am a regular customer. I have never been disappointed by them!!!

Great food, I recommend aromatic crispy duck, spring rolls mini veg, honey garlic spare ribs, honey garlic crispy chicken. Fast delivery by very nice driver.

Chois has been the best recently!! Food as yummy as always and arrived perfectly hot. Bet they were busy tonight but standards didn’t slip :)

Always hit and miss. Sometime really good but today is very disappointed 🙁 literally the fried rice is very salty.

The food is usually really good, but tonight all the food was so salty we almost couldn't eat it. It didn't taste very good becuase it was just too salty. Hopefully this is a one off mistake, as we usually like to order from Choi's, but if this is the quality of the food from now on we'll have to find somewhere else. Thank you for your consideration

said they couldn't deliver eventhough all at home and we double checked our doorbell too. that is working fine. Had to collect myself. food was steaming hot.....don't even think they tried! no credit given after paying for delivery. Shame as food was good

Choi's used to be a fantastic takeaway but not anymore. I was looking foward to the Singapore style vegetable chow mein (lovely in the past) but what a disappointment! The noodles were stodgy and the whole meal was tasteless, including the few chillies! Had to warm it in the microwave but was inedible. I gave them 1 star for food as my partner's beef in black bean sauce was ok but his fried rice was also tasteless. Such a shame; we have been going there for years but won't be going there again

5.45pm delivery requested arrived at 5pm I got home from work at 5.40 pm, might not use again

Poor tasting, oily chow mein which tasted vile and dry chicken

Choi’s used to be delicious. This time it was nothing like their usual quality, not at all tasty all salty and overwhelming curry taste and hardly any meat. Meat had big chunks of cartilage in…. Moreover the prices have gone up significantly for this poor quality. Apparently it’s under new management. I will certainly NOT be ordering from Choi’s anymore, sorry.

Another lovely meal. Tried the chicken and cashew nuts and the Szechuan duck for a change and both were really lovely. Collection slot was on time and food was nice and hot. Thank you Chois!

If I could give 0 i would. Charged us £73 delivered the order we had half of it missing! Went down there to show proof of purchase and our order summary. They said we only spent £26 when I showed the £73 came out of our account! They then refused us a refund! Not only that the women was just stood there smirking rather than apologising for their error and trying to come to a solution! Absolute disgrace, will not be ordering again! £73!!!

We always have such a good experience with Choi’s but tonight the food tasted completely different to usual. The bbq sauce was overpowered with Chinese 5 spice (or similar) and the chow mein was greasy. The overall quality of the food was much poorer than usual. Really disappointing as this has been our go to Chinese since moving to Didcot.

Everything was perfect however the yummy chips had what looked and tasted like the whole tub of salt on, wasn't able to enjoy or eat.
